< Philemon 1 >
1 Paul, a prisoner of Christ Jesus, and Timothy our brother, To Philemon our beloved fellow worker,
Njame paulo, uli mujele pacebo cakusebensela Yesu Klistu. Ndi pamo ne mukwetu Timoti, tulalembelenga njobe Filimoni omukwetu wasunika, kayi musebenshi munetu,
2 to Apphia our sister, to Archippus our fellow soldier, and to the church that meets at your house:
ne Apiya mukwetu mutukashi, Akipasi mushilikali munetu munkondo ya Mushimu kayi ne mubungano uyo uli mung'anda yakobe.
3 Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
Luse ne lumuno lube nenjamwe kufuma kuli Lesa Bata betu ne Mwami Yesu Klistu.
4 I always thank my God, remembering you in my prayers,
Ndalumbunga Lesa wakame cindi conse ndakuyeyanga mipailo.
5 because I hear about your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for all the saints.
Pakwinga ndanyumfunga sha lusuno ne lushomo lwakobe kuli bashoma bonse, kayi ne lushomo muli Yesu Klistu.
6 I pray that your partnership in the faith may become effective as you fully acknowledge every good thing that is ours in Christ.
Ndapailinga kwambeti lwikatano ndokute pamo nenjafwe mulushomo, ulusebenseshe cangofu kwambeti ubeshibishe byonse mbyotwalatambula pacebo ca Yesu Klistu.
7 I take great joy and encouragement in your love, because you, brother, have refreshed the hearts of the saints.
Mukwabo, lusuno ndokute lulankondweleshe kayi ulanjuminishi pakwinga ulakondweleshe moyo wakame ne bashoma nabambi bonse.
8 So although in Christ I am bold enough to order you to do what is proper,
Pacebo ico ame ndelela kukwambila muli Klistu ncowelela kwinsa.
9 I prefer to appeal on the basis of love. For I, Paul, am now aged, and a prisoner of Christ Jesus as well.
Nsombi pacebo ca lusuno ame ndakusengenga ndemucekulu, kayi lino ndili mujele pacebo ca kusebensela Klistu.
10 I appeal to you for my child Onesimus, whose father I became while I was in chains.
Neco ndasengelenga Onesimo kuli njamwe pakwinga ni mwaname muli Klistu, pakwinga mpondalikuba mujele ndalaba baishi kubintu bya kumushimu.
11 Formerly he was useless to you, but now he has become useful both to you and to me.
Kaindi nkalikukute ncito kulinjobe, nsombi lino ngauba ne ncito kuli njobe ne njame.
12 I am sending back to you him who is my very heart.
Ndamubweshenga kulinjobe, pakwinseci ndabeti ndakutumini moyo wakame wonse.
13 I would have liked to keep him with me, so that on your behalf he could minister to me in my chains for the gospel.
Ngankondwa kuba nendi kuno, mpondicili mujele pacebo ca kukambauka Mulumbe Waina, kwambeti anyamfwenga pabusena bwakobe.
14 But I did not want to do anything without your consent, so that your goodness will not be out of compulsion, but by your own free will.
Necikabeco nkandayandanga kwinsa cintu ciliconse kantana ndikwipusha, kutineti ngaucinsa mwakukukakatisha, nsombi usuminishe mwakusunguluka.
15 For perhaps this is why he was separated from you for a while, so that you might have him back for good— (aiōnios )
Mpani Onesimo walakushiyowa kwakacindi kang'ana kwambeti akese akekale nenjobe kwacindi conse. (aiōnios )
16 no longer as a slave, but better than a slave, as a beloved brother. He is especially beloved to me, but even more so to you, both in person and in the Lord.
Lino nte musha nsombi wapita musha, nimukwenu muli Klistu. Ame ndimusuni neco, nenjobe welela kumusuna, pakwinga nimusha kayi ni mukwenu muli Mwami Yesu Klistu.
17 So if you consider me a partner, receive him as you would receive me.
Na njame munobe, mutambule mbuli ncowela kuntambula.
18 But if he has wronged you in any way or owes you anything, charge it to my account.
Na walakwinshila caipa nambi kukweleta cintu ciliconse, upe njame mulandu.
19 I, Paul, write this with my own hand. I will repay it—not to mention that you owe me your very self.
Lino ndakulembelenga kalata ne makasa akame, “Ame nde Paulo ninkalipile.” Pakwambeco, nkandelela kukwanusha kwambeti nkongole njonkutile nibuyumi bwakobe.
20 Yes, brother, let me have some benefit from you in the Lord. Refresh my heart in Christ.
Lino omwanse wame nenjame unyamfweko pacebo ca Mwami. Unkondwelesheko mbuli mukwenu muli Klistu.
21 Confident of your obedience, I write to you, knowing that you will do even more than I ask.
Ndakulembelenga ibi bintu, pakwinga ndashoma kwambeti nubinse mbyondakusenge. Kayi ndicinsheti nucikonshe kwinsa kupita pa bintu ibi.
22 In the meantime, prepare a guest room for me, because I hope that through your prayers I will be restored to you.
Ndasengenga kayi, eti ukamambileko cipinda pakona, pakwinga ndashoma kwambeti Lesa nakakumbule mipailo yenu nekumbwesha kulinjamwe.
23 Epaphras, my fellow prisoner in Christ Jesus, sends you greetings,
Epafulasi uyo ngondi nendi mujele cebo ca Yesu, lamupanga mitende.
24 as do Mark, Aristarchus, Demas, and Luke, my fellow workers.
Maliko, Alisitako ne Dema kayi ne Luka basebenshi baname naboyo balamupanga mitende.
25 The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit.
Luse lwa Mwami Yesu Klistu lube nenjamwe mwense.
