Numbers 33
1 These are the journeys of the Israelites when they came out of the land of Egypt by their divisions under the leadership of Moses and Aaron.
Voici les stations des fils d'Israël, après que Moïse et Aaron les eurent fait sortir d'Egypte.
2 At the LORD’s command, Moses recorded the stages of their journey. These are the stages listed by their starting points:
Par les ordres du Seigneur, Moïse écrivit leurs départs et leurs campements. Or, voici ces stations:
3 On the fifteenth day of the first month, on the day after the Passover, the Israelites set out from Rameses. They marched out defiantly in full view of all the Egyptians,
Ils partirent de Rhamessès le premier mois, le quinzième jour de la lune; le lendemain de la pâque, les fils d'Israël partirent sous une haute et puissante main, devant tous les fils de l'Egypte.
4 who were burying all their firstborn, whom the LORD had struck down among them; for the LORD had executed judgment against their gods.
Les Egyptiens ensevelirent chez eux tous les morts qu'avait frappés le Seigneur, tous les premiers-nés de la terre d'Egypte, et le Seigneur tira vengeance de leurs dieux.
5 The Israelites set out from Rameses and camped at Succoth.
Partis de Rhamessès, les fils d'Israël campèrent en Soccoth.
6 They set out from Succoth and camped at Etham, on the edge of the wilderness.
Partis de Soccoth, ils campèrent à Etham (Othom), qui est à l'extrémité du désert.
7 They set out from Etham and turned back to Pi-hahiroth, opposite Baal-zephon, and they camped near Migdol.
Ils partirent d'Etham, et campèrent vers le golfe de Phihahiroth, qui est en face de Béelséphon, et ils étaient campés vis-à-vis Magdole.
8 They set out from Pi-hahiroth and crossed through the sea, into the wilderness, and they journeyed three days into the Wilderness of Etham and camped at Marah.
Partis de Phihahiroth, ils passèrent au milieu de la mer Rouge pour gagner le désert, et ils firent trois journées de marche dans le désert, et ils campèrent à Mara.
9 They set out from Marah and came to Elim, where there were twelve springs and seventy palm trees, and they camped there.
Ils quittèrent Mara, et vinrent en Elim. Or, il y avait à Elim douze fontaines et soixante-dix tiges de palmiers; ils campèrent en ce lieu, à cause de l'eau.
10 They set out from Elim and camped by the Red Sea.
Puis, ils partirent d'Elim, et ils campèrent au bord de la mer Rouge.
11 They set out from the Red Sea and camped in the Desert of Sin.
Et ils partirent de la mer Rouge, et ils campèrent dans le désert de Sin.
12 They set out from the Desert of Sin and camped at Dophkah.
Partis du désert de Sin, ils vinrent camper en Daphca.
13 They set out from Dophkah and camped at Alush.
Et ils partirent de Daphca, et ils campèrent en Alus.
14 They set out from Alush and camped at Rephidim, where there was no water for the people to drink.
Et ils partirent d'Alus, et ils campèrent à Rhaphidin; or, il n'y avait point là de l'eau pour que le peuple put boire.
15 They set out from Rephidim and camped in the Wilderness of Sinai.
Ayant quitte Rhaphidin, ils dressèrent leurs tentes dans le désert de Sina.
16 They set out from the Wilderness of Sinai and camped at Kibroth-hattaavah.
Du désert de Sina, ils vinrent camper aux Sépulcres de concupiscence.
17 They set out from Kibroth-hattaavah and camped at Hazeroth.
Ils s'éloignèrent des Sépulcres de concupiscence, et campèrent à Haseroth.
18 They set out from Hazeroth and camped at Rithmah.
Partis d'Haseroth, ils allèrent camper à Rethma.
19 They set out from Rithmah and camped at Rimmon-perez.
De Rethma, ils vinrent camper en Rhemmompharès.
20 They set out from Rimmon-perez and camped at Libnah.

21 They set out from Libnah and camped at Rissah.

23 They set out from Kehelathah and camped at Mount Shepher.

24 They set out from Mount Shepher and camped at Haradah.
Ayant quitté Sépher, ils campèrent en Arada.
25 They set out from Haradah and camped at Makheloth.
Ils partirent d'Arada, et campèrent en Maceloth.
26 They set out from Makheloth and camped at Tahath.
De Maceloth, ils dressèrent leurs tentes en Thabath.
27 They set out from Tahath and camped at Terah.
Et ils partirent de Thabath, pour venir camper à Tharé.
28 They set out from Terah and camped at Mithkah.
Partis de Tharé, ils campèrent à Methca.
29 They set out from Mithkah and camped at Hashmonah.
De Methca, ils vinrent camper à Hesmona.
30 They set out from Hashmonah and camped at Moseroth.
Et ils partirent de Hesmona, pour aller camper à Moserotb.
31 They set out from Moseroth and camped at Bene-jaakan.

32 They set out from Bene-jaakan and camped at Hor-haggidgad.
Partis de Béné-Jaacan, ils vinrent camper en la montagne de Gadgad.
33 They set out from Hor-haggidgad and camped at Jotbathah.
De la montagne de Gadgad, ils vinrent camper à Jétébatba.
34 They set out from Jotbathah and camped at Abronah.
Et ils partirent de Jétébatba, pour aller dresser leurs tentes en Hébrona.
35 They set out from Abronah and camped at Ezion-geber.
Puis, ayant quitté Hebrona, ils campèrent en Asion-Gaber.
36 They set out from Ezion-geber and camped at Kadesh in the Wilderness of Zin.
Partis d'Asion-Gaber, ils vinrent camper dans le désert de Sin, d'où, étant sortis, ils campèrent dans le désert de Pharan qui est Cadès.
37 They set out from Kadesh and camped at Mount Hor, on the outskirts of the land of Edom.
Partis de Cadès-Barné, ils vinrent camper sur la montagne de Hor, près de la terre d'Edom.
38 At the LORD’s command, Aaron the priest climbed Mount Hor and died there on the first day of the fifth month, in the fortieth year after the Israelites had come out of the land of Egypt.
Et Aaron monta sur la montagne par ordre du Seigneur, et il y mourut, en la quarantième année de la sortie d'Egypte, le cinquième mois, le premier de la lune.
39 Aaron was 123 years old when he died on Mount Hor.
Aaron avait cent vingt-trois ans lorsqu'il mourut sur la montagne de Hor.
40 Now the Canaanite king of Arad, who lived in the Negev in the land of Canaan, heard that the Israelites were coming.
Et, le Chananéen, roi d'Arad, qui demeurait en la terre de Chanaan, apprit que les fils d'Israël étaient en marche.
41 And the Israelites set out from Mount Hor and camped at Zalmonah.
Ils partirent ensuite de la montagne de Hor, et vinrent camper en Salmona.
42 They set out from Zalmonah and camped at Punon.
Ayant quitté Salmona, ils campèrent en Phunon.
43 They set out from Punon and camped at Oboth.
Partis de Phunon, ils dressèrent leurs tentes à Oboth.
44 They set out from Oboth and camped at Iye-abarim on the border of Moab.
Puis, ils s'éloignèrent d'Obotb, pour venir camper à Gié-Abarim, au delà et près des frontières de Moab.
45 They set out from Iyim and camped at Dibon-gad.
Et ils partirent de Gié-Abarim, pour séjourner à Dibon-Gad.
46 They set out from Dibon-gad and camped at Almon-diblathaim.
De Dibon-Gad, ils vinrent camper à Helmon-Déblathaïm.
47 They set out from Almon-diblathaim and camped in the mountains of Abarim facing Nebo.
Partis de Helmon-Déblathaïm, ils campèrent sur les montagnes d'Abarim, en face de Nébo.
48 They set out from the mountains of Abarim and camped on the plains of Moab by the Jordan across from Jericho.
Ayant quitté les montagnes d'Abarim, ils campèrent à l'Occident de Moab, sur le Jourdain, en face de Jéricho.
49 And there on the plains of Moab they camped by the Jordan, from Beth-jeshimoth to Abel-shittim.
Ensuite, ils campèrent aux bords du Jourdain de Beth-Simoth, à Abelsatim, à l'occident de Moab.
50 On the plains of Moab by the Jordan across from Jericho, the LORD said to Moses,
Et le Seigneur parla à Moïse, à l'occident de Moab, sur le Jourdain, en face de Jéricho, et il lui dit:
51 “Speak to the Israelites and tell them: When you cross the Jordan into the land of Canaan,
Parle aux fils d'Israël, et dis-leur: Vous allez traverser le Jourdain pour entrer en la terre de Chanaan.
52 you must drive out before you all the inhabitants of the land, destroy all their carved images and cast idols, and demolish all their high places.
Et, devant vous, vous exterminerez tous ceux qui habitent cette terre; vous détruirez leurs tours, leurs idoles jetées en fonte, et leurs colonnes.
53 You are to take possession of the land and settle in it, for I have given you the land to possess.
Vous détruirez tous les peuples de la terre promise, et vous l'habiterez; car je vous la donne pour héritage.
54 And you are to divide the land by lot according to your clans. Give a larger inheritance to a larger clan and a smaller inheritance to a smaller one. Whatever falls to each one by lot will be his. You will receive an inheritance according to the tribes of your fathers.
Vous la partagerez entre vos tribus; donnant plus aux plus nombreux, et moins aux moindres en nombre. Quelle que soit la part qu'à chacun désignera le sort, chacun la possèdera; le partage se fera par tribus paternelles.
55 But if you do not drive out the inhabitants of the land before you, those you allow to remain will become barbs in your eyes and thorns in your sides; they will harass you in the land where you settle.
Mais, si vous n'exterminez pas devant vous tous les habitants de la terre, ceux que vous aurez épargnés seront des traits en vos yeux, des flèches en vos flancs; ils seront vos ennemis sur la terre que vous habiterez.
56 And then I will do to you what I had planned to do to them.”
Et alors, je vous traiterai vous-mêmes comme j'avais résolu de les traiter.
