Numbers 32

1 Now the Reubenites and Gadites, who had very large herds and flocks, surveyed the lands of Jazer and Gilead, and they saw that the region was suitable for livestock.

೧ರೂಬೇನ್ ಕುಲದವರಿಗೂ, ಗಾದ್ ಕುಲದವರಿಗೂ ಬಹಳ ದನಕುರಿಗಳಿದ್ದವು. ಯಗ್ಜೇರ್, ಗಿಲ್ಯಾದ್ ಎಂಬ ಪ್ರದೇಶವನ್ನು ನೋಡಿದಾಗ ಅವು ದನಕುರಿಗಳ ಮೇವಿಗೆ ತಕ್ಕ ಸ್ಥಳವೆಂದು ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಂಡರು.

2 So the Gadites and Reubenites came to Moses, Eleazar the priest, and the leaders of the congregation, and said,

೨ಗಾದ್ ಮತ್ತು ರೂಬೇನ್ ಸಂತತಿಯವರು ಮೋಶೆ ಮತ್ತು ಮಹಾಯಾಜಕನಾದ ಎಲ್ಲಾಜಾರನು ಬಳಿಗೂ, ಸಮೂಹದ ಪ್ರಧಾನರ ಬಳಿಗೂ ಬಂದು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೇನೆಂದರೆ,

3 “Ataroth, Dibon, Jazer, Nimrah, Heshbon, Elealeh, Sebam, Nebo, and Beon,

೩“ಅಟಾರೋತ್, ದೀಬೋನ್, ಯಗ್ಜೇರ್, ನಿಮ್ರಾ, ಹೆಷ್ಬೋನ್, ಎಲೆಯಾಲೆ, ಸೆಬಾಮ್, ನೆಬೋ, ಬೆಯೋನ್,

4 which the LORD conquered before the congregation of Israel, are suitable for livestock—and your servants have livestock.”

೪ಇವು ಯೆಹೋವನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ಸಮೂಹಕ್ಕೆ ಅಧೀನಪಡಿಸಿದ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳು. ದನಕುರಿಗಳ ಮೇವಿಗೆ ತಕ್ಕ ಪ್ರದೇಶವಾಗಿದೆ. ನಿಮ್ಮ ದಾಸರಾದ ನಮಗೆ ಬಹಳ ದನ ಕುರಿಗಳುಂಟು.

5 “If we have found favor in your sight,” they said, “let this land be given to your servants as a possession. Do not make us cross the Jordan.”

೫ಆದಕಾರಣ ನೀವು, ದಾಸರಾದ ನಮ್ಮ ಮೇಲೆ ದಯೆ ಇಟ್ಟು ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಯೊರ್ದನ್ ನದಿಯ ಆಚೆಗೆ ಬರಮಾಡಿದ ಈ ಪ್ರದೇಶವನ್ನೇ ಸ್ವತ್ತಾಗಿ ಕೊಡಬೇಕು” ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಿಕೊಂಡರು.

6 But Moses asked the Gadites and Reubenites, “Shall your brothers go to war while you sit here?

೬ಮೋಶೆಯು ಗಾದ್ ಮತ್ತು ರೂಬೇನ್ ಸಂತಾನದವರಿಗೆ, “ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸಹೋದರರು ಯದ್ಧಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗುವಾಗ ನೀವು ಅಲ್ಲೇ ಕುಳಿತುಕೊಂಡಿರಬೇಕೇನು?

7 Why are you discouraging the Israelites from crossing into the land that the LORD has given them?

೭ಯೆಹೋವನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರಿಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟ ದೇಶಕ್ಕೆ ಅವರು ಹೋಗದಂತೆ ನೀವು ಏಕೆ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಅಧೈರ್ಯವನ್ನು ಹುಟ್ಟಿಸುತ್ತೀರಿ?

8 This is what your fathers did when I sent them from Kadesh-barnea to inspect the land.

೮ಆ ದೇಶವನ್ನು ನೋಡಿಕೊಂಡು ಬರುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ನಾನು ಕಾದೇಶ್ ಬರ್ನೇಯದಿಂದ ನಿಮ್ಮ ತಂದೆಯರನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದಾಗ ಅವರೂ ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಮಾಡಿದರು.

9 For when your fathers went up to the Valley of Eshcol and saw the land, they discouraged the Israelites from entering the land that the LORD had given them.

೯ಅವರು ಎಷ್ಕೋಲ್ ತಗ್ಗಿಗೆ ಬಂದು ಆ ದೇಶವನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರಿಗೆ ಅಧೈರ್ಯವನ್ನು ಹುಟ್ಟಿಸಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರು ತಮಗೆ ಯೆಹೋವನು ವಾಗ್ದಾನಮಾಡಿದ ದೇಶಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗಲು ಆಗಲಿಲ್ಲ.

10 So the anger of the LORD was kindled that day, and He swore an oath, saying,

೧೦ಆ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಯೆಹೋವನು ಕೋಪಗೊಂಡವನಾಗಿ ಪ್ರಮಾಣಮಾಡಿ,

11 ‘Because they did not follow Me wholeheartedly, not one of the men twenty years of age or older who came out of Egypt will see the land that I swore to give Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob—

೧೧‘ಐಗುಪ್ತ ದೇಶದೊಳಗಿಂದ ಬಂದ ಈ ಜನರೊಳಗೆ ಯಾರೂ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಪೂರ್ಣಮನಸ್ಸಿನಿಂದ ಅನುಸರಿಸದೆ ಹೋದುದರಿಂದ ನಾನು ಅಬ್ರಹಾಮ್, ಇಸಾಕ್, ಯಾಕೋಬರಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಮಾಣ ಪೂರ್ವಕವಾಗಿ ಕೊಟ್ಟ ದೇಶವನ್ನು, ಅವರೊಳಗೆ ಇಪ್ಪತ್ತು ವರ್ಷ ಮೊದಲುಗೊಂಡು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ವಯಸ್ಸಿನವರಲ್ಲಿ

12 not one except Caleb son of Jephunneh the Kenizzite and Joshua son of Nun—because they did follow the LORD wholeheartedly.’

೧೨ಕೆನಿಜ್ಜೀಯನಾದ ಯೆಫುನ್ನೆಯ ಮಗನಾದ ಕಾಲೇಬನೂ ಮತ್ತು ನೂನನ ಮಗನಾದ ಯೆಹೋಶುವನೂ ಇವರಿಬ್ಬರೇ ಹೊರತು ಯಾರೂ ನೋಡುವುದೇ ಇಲ್ಲ’” ಎಂದು ಖಂಡಿತವಾಗಿ ಹೇಳಿದನು.

13 The anger of the LORD burned against Israel, and He made them wander in the wilderness forty years, until the whole generation who had done evil in His sight was gone.

೧೩ಯೆಹೋವನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ಮೇಲೆ ಕೋಪಗೊಂಡವನಾಗಿ ತನ್ನ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಟ್ಟ ನಡತೆಯುಳ್ಳ ಆ ಸಂತತಿಯವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ನಾಶವಾಗುವ ತನಕ ನಲ್ವತ್ತು ವರ್ಷ, ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರನ್ನು ಮರುಭೂಮಿಯಲ್ಲೇ ತಿರುಗಾಡುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡಿದನು.

14 Now behold, you, a brood of sinners, have risen up in place of your fathers to further stoke the burning anger of the LORD against Israel.

೧೪“ಈ ದುಷ್ಟ ಸಂತತಿಯವರಾದ ನೀವು ನಿಮ್ಮ ತಂದೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಬದಲಾಗಿ ಬಂದು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ಮೇಲಿದ್ದ ಯೆಹೋವನ ರೋಷಾಗ್ನಿಯನ್ನು ಮತ್ತಷ್ಟು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸುತ್ತೀರಿ.

15 For if you turn away from following Him, He will once again leave this people in the wilderness, and you will be the cause of their destruction.”

೧೫ನೀವು ಆತನನ್ನು ಹಿಂಬಾಲಿಸದೆ ಇರುವ ಕಾರಣ ಆತನು ಆ ಜನರನ್ನು ಮರುಭೂಮಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇರಿಸಿದರೆ, ಈ ಸಮಸ್ತ ಜನಾಂಗವನ್ನು ನೀವೇ ನಾಶ ಮಾಡುವಿರಿ” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.

16 Then the Gadites and Reubenites approached Moses and said, “We want to build sheepfolds here for our livestock and cities for our little ones.

೧೬ಆಗ ಅವರು ಮೋಶೆಯ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದು, “ನಾವು ಇಲ್ಲಿ ನಮ್ಮ ದನಕುರಿಗಳಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ದೊಡ್ಡಿಗಳನ್ನೂ, ನಮ್ಮ ಕುಟುಂಬಗಳಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಊರುಗಳನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವೆವು.

17 But we will arm ourselves and be ready to go ahead of the Israelites until we have brought them into their place. Meanwhile, our little ones will remain in the fortified cities for protection from the inhabitants of the land.

೧೭ನಾವಾದರೋ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರನ್ನು ಅವರವರ ಸ್ಥಳಗಳಿಗೆ ಸೇರಿಸುವವರೆಗೂ ಯುದ್ಧಕ್ಕೆ ಸನ್ನದ್ಧರಾಗಿ ಅವರ ಮುಂದೆ ನಡೆಯುವೆವು. ಅಷ್ಟರಲ್ಲಿ ನಮ್ಮ ಕುಟುಂಬಗಳವರು ಈ ದೇಶದ ನಿವಾಸಿಗಳ ಭಯದ ದೆಸೆಯಿಂದ ಕೋಟೆಕೋತ್ತಲುಗಳುಳ್ಳ ಊರುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಿಸಲಿ.

18 We will not return to our homes until every Israelite has taken possession of his inheritance.

೧೮ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ತಮ್ಮ ತಮ್ಮ ಸ್ವತ್ತುಗಳನ್ನು ಸ್ವತಂತ್ರಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ವರೆಗೂ ನಾವು ನಮ್ಮ ಮನೆಗಳಿಗೆ ತಿರುಗಿ ಹೋಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.

19 Yet we will not have an inheritance with them across the Jordan and beyond, because our inheritance has come to us on the east side of the Jordan.”

೧೯ನಮಗೆ ಯೊರ್ದನ್ ನದಿಯ ಆಚೆ ಪೂರ್ವ ದಿಕ್ಕಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ವತ್ತನ್ನು ಅಪೇಕ್ಷಿಸುವುದಿಲ್ಲ” ಎಂದರು.

20 Moses replied, “If you will do this—if you will arm yourselves before the LORD for battle,

೨೦ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಮೋಶೆ ಅವರಿಗೆ, “ನೀವು ಯೆಹೋವನ ಮಾತಿನಂತೆ ನಡೆದರೆ ನಿಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಭಟರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಯುದ್ಧಸನ್ನದ್ಧರಾಗಿ,

21 and if every one of your armed men crosses the Jordan before the LORD, until He has driven His enemies out before Him,

೨೧ಯೊರ್ದನ್ ನದಿಯ ಆಚೆಗೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಯೆಹೋವನು ತನ್ನ ವೈರಿಗಳನ್ನು ಹೊರಡಿಸಿಬಿಟ್ಟು ಆ ದೇಶವನ್ನು ಸ್ವಾಧೀನಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ತನಕ ಆತನ ಮುಂದೆ

22 then when the land is subdued before the LORD, you may return and be free of obligation to the LORD and to Israel. And this land will belong to you as a possession before the LORD.

೨೨ಯುದ್ಧಮಾಡಿ ತರುವಾಯ ನೀವು ತಿರುಗಿ ಬಂದು ಆತನ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಯಲ್ಲೂ, ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಯಲ್ಲೂ ನಿರ್ದೋಷಿಗಳಾಗಿರುವಿರಿ ಮತ್ತು ಈ ದೇಶವು ಯೆಹೋವನ ಸನ್ನಿಧಿಯಲ್ಲೇ ನಿಮಗೆ ಸ್ವತ್ತಾಗಿರುವುದು.

23 But if you do not do this, you will certainly sin against the LORD—and be assured that your sin will find you out.

೨೩“ಆದರೆ ನೀವು ಹಾಗೆ ಮಾಡದೆ ಹೋದರೆ, ಯೆಹೋವನಿಗೆ ವಿರುದ್ಧವಾಗಿ ಪಾಪಮಾಡಿದವರಾಗುವಿರಿ ಮತ್ತು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಪಾಪವು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿಯುವ ತನಕ ಹುಡುಕಿಕೊಂಡೇ ಬರುವುದು ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ.

24 Build cities for your little ones and folds for your flocks, but do what you have promised.”

೨೪ನೀವು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಕುಟುಂಬಗಳಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಊರುಗಳನ್ನೂ, ದನಕುರಿಗಳಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ದೊಡ್ಡಿಗಳನ್ನೂ ಕಟ್ಟಿಕೊಂಡ ತರುವಾಯ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮಾತಿನ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಮಾಡಿರಿ” ಎಂದನು.

25 The Gadites and Reubenites said to Moses, “Your servants will do just as our lord commands.

೨೫ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಗಾದ್ಯರೂ ಮತ್ತು ರೂಬೇನ್ಯರೂ ಮೋಶೆಗೆ, “ಸ್ವಾಮಿಯವರ ಅಪ್ಪಣೆಯ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ದಾಸರಾದ ನಾವು ಮಾಡುತ್ತೇವೆ ಎಂದರು.

26 Our children, our wives, our livestock, and all our animals will remain here in the cities of Gilead.

೨೬ನಮ್ಮ ಮಕ್ಕಳು, ಹೆಂಡತಿಯರೂ, ದನಕುರಿಗಳು ನಮ್ಮ ಸಂಪತ್ತು ಇಲ್ಲೇ ಗಿಲ್ಯಾದ್ ದೇಶದ ಊರುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಇರಲಿ.

27 But your servants are equipped for war, and every man will cross over to the battle before the LORD, just as our lord says.”

೨೭ನಿನ್ನ ದಾಸರಾದ ನಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಯುದ್ಧಸನ್ನದ್ಧರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಸ್ವಾಮಿಯವರ ಅಪ್ಪಣೆಯ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಯೆಹೋವನ ಮುಂದುಗಡೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹೊರಟು ನದಿಯನ್ನು ದಾಟಿ ಯುದ್ಧಮಾಡುವೆವು” ಎಂದು ಉತ್ತರ ಕೊಟ್ಟರು.

28 So Moses gave orders about them to Eleazar the priest, to Joshua son of Nun, and to the family leaders of the tribes of Israel.

೨೮ಆದಕಾರಣ ಮೋಶೆ ಅವರ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿ ಮಹಾಯಾಜಕ ಎಲ್ಲಾಜಾರನಿಗೂ, ನೂನನ ಮಗನಾದ ಯೆಹೋಶುವನಿಗೂ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ಮತ್ತು ಗೋತ್ರಗಳ ಕುಲಾಧಿಪತಿಗಳಿಗೂ ಆಜ್ಞೆಮಾಡಿದನು.

29 And Moses said to them, “If the Gadites and Reubenites cross the Jordan with you, with every man armed for battle before the LORD, and the land is subdued before you, then you are to give them the land of Gilead as a possession.

೨೯ಮೋಶೆಯು ಅವರಿಗೆ, “ಗಾದ್ಯರಲ್ಲಿಯೂ, ರೂಬೇನ್ಯರಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಯುದ್ಧಸನ್ನದ್ಧರಾದವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ನಿಮ್ಮೊಡನೆ ಯೊರ್ದನ್ ನದಿಯನ್ನು ದಾಟಿ ಯೆಹೋವನ ಮುಂದೆ ಯುದ್ಧಮಾಡಿದರೆ ಕಾನಾನ್ ದೇಶವನ್ನು ನೀವು ಸ್ವಾಧೀನಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡಾಗ ನೀವು ಗಿಲ್ಯಾದ್ ಪ್ರದೇಶವನ್ನು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಸ್ವಾಸ್ತ್ಯವಾಗುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಕೊಡಬೇಕು.

30 But if they do not arm themselves and go across with you, then they must accept their possession among you in the land of Canaan.”

೩೦ಆದರೆ ಅವರು ನಿಮ್ಮೊಡನೆ ಯುದ್ಧಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗದಿದ್ದರೆ ಕಾನಾನ್ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಸ್ವಾಸ್ತ್ಯವಾಗಬೇಕು” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.

31 The Gadites and Reubenites replied, “As the LORD has spoken to your servants, so we will do.

೩೧ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಗಾದ್ಯರೂ ರೂಬೇನ್ಯರೂ ಉತ್ತರವಾಗಿ, “ಯೆಹೋವನು ನಿನ್ನ ದಾಸರಾದ ನಮಗೆ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದಂತೆಯೇ ಮಾಡುವೆವು.

32 We will cross over into the land of Canaan armed before the LORD, that we may have our inheritance on this side of the Jordan.”

೩೨ನಾವು ಯೆಹೋವನ ಮುಂದೆ ಯುದ್ಧಸನ್ನದ್ಧರಾಗಿ ಕಾನಾನ್ ದೇಶಕ್ಕೆ ಹೊರಡುವೆವು, ಆಗ ಯೊರ್ದನ್ ನದಿಯ ಆಚೆಯೇ ನಮಗೆ ಸ್ವತ್ತು ದೊರಕಬೇಕು” ಎಂದರು.

33 So Moses gave to the Gadites, to the Reubenites, and to the half-tribe of Manasseh son of Joseph the kingdom of Sihon king of the Amorites and the kingdom of Og king of Bashan—the land including its cities and the territory surrounding them.

೩೩ಹೀಗೆ ಮೋಶೆಯು ಗಾದ್ಯರಿಗೂ, ರೂಬೇನ್ಯರಿಗೂ, ಯೋಸೇಫನ ಮಗನಾದ ಮನಸ್ಸೆಯ ಕುಲದವರಲ್ಲಿ ಅರ್ಧಜನರಿಗೂ, ಅಮೋರಿಯರ ಅರಸನಾದ ಸೀಹೋನನ ರಾಜ್ಯವನ್ನೂ, ಬಾಷಾನಿನ ಅರಸನಾದ ಓಗನ ರಾಜ್ಯವನ್ನೂ, ಅವುಗಳ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಊರುಗಳನ್ನೂ ಮತ್ತು ಆ ಊರುಗಳಿಗೆ ಸೇರಿದ ಭೂಮಿಗಳನ್ನೂ ಕೊಟ್ಟನು.

34 And the Gadites built up Dibon, Ataroth, Aroer,

೩೪ಗಾದ್ಯನ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ದೀಬೋನ್, ಅಟಾರೋತ್, ಅರೋಯೇರ್ ಊರುಗಳನ್ನು ಹೊಸದಾಗಿ ಕಟ್ಟಿಸಿದರು.

35 Atroth-shophan, Jazer, Jogbehah,

೩೫ಆಟ್ರೋತ್ಷೋಫಾನ್, ಯಗ್ಜೇರ್, ಯೊಗ್ಬೆಹಾ,

36 Beth-nimrah, and Beth-haran as fortified cities, and they built folds for their flocks.

೩೬ಬೇತ್‌ನಿಮ್ರಾ ಮತ್ತು ಬೇತ್ ಹಾರಾನಿನ ಸುತ್ತ ಗೋಡೆಗಳುಳ್ಳ ಊರುಗಳನ್ನು ಹೊಸದಾಗಿ ಕಟ್ಟಿಕೊಂಡರು. ತಮ್ಮ ದನಕುರಿಗಳಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ದೊಡ್ಡಿಗಳನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿಕೊಂಡರು.

37 The Reubenites built up Heshbon, Elealeh, Kiriathaim,

೩೭ರೂಬೇನ್ಯರ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಹೆಷ್ಬೋನ್, ಎಲೆಯಾಲೆ, ಕಿರ್ಯಾತಯಿಮ್ ಊರುಗಳನ್ನು ಹೊಸದಾಗಿ ಕಟ್ಟಿಸಿದರು.

38 as well as Nebo and Baal-meon (whose names were changed), and Sibmah. And they renamed the cities they rebuilt.

೩೮ಸಿಬ್ಮಾ ಎಂಬ ಊರುಗಳನ್ನೂ, ಬೇರೆ ಹೆಸರಿನಿಂದ ಉಚ್ಚರಿಸತಕ್ಕ ನೆಬೋ, ಬಾಳ್ಮೆಯೋನ್ ಎಂಬವುಗಳನ್ನೂ ಹೊಸದಾಗಿ ಕಟ್ಟಿ ಅವುಗಳಿಗೆ ಬೇರೆ ಹೆಸರುಗಳನ್ನು ಇಟ್ಟರು.

39 The descendants of Machir son of Manasseh went to Gilead, captured it, and drove out the Amorites who were there.

೩೯ಮನಸ್ಸೆಯ ಮಗನಾದ ಮಾಕೀರನ ವಂಶದವರು ಗಿಲ್ಯಾದಿಗೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಅದನ್ನು ಸ್ವಾಧೀನಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡು ಅಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಅಮೋರಿಯರನ್ನು ಹೊರಡಿಸಿಬಿಟ್ಟರು.

40 So Moses gave Gilead to the clan of Machir son of Manasseh, and they settled there.

೪೦ಮೋಶೆಯು ಮನಸ್ಸೆಯ ಮಗನಾದ ಮಾಕೀರನ ಸಂತತಿಯವರಿಗೆ ಗಿಲ್ಯಾದ್ ಪ್ರದೇಶವನ್ನು ಕೊಡಲಾಗಿ ಅವರು ಅಲ್ಲೇ ವಾಸಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡರು.

41 Jair, a descendant of Manasseh, went and captured their villages and called them Havvoth-jair.

೪೧ಮನಸ್ಸೆಯ ವಂಶದವನಾದ ಯಾಯೀರನು ಯುದ್ಧಕ್ಕೆ ಹೊರಟು ಅಮೋರಿಯರ ಗ್ರಾಮಗಳನ್ನು ಸ್ವಾಧೀನಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡು ಅವುಗಳಿಗೆ ಯಾಯೀರನ ಗ್ರಾಮಗಳೆಂದು ಹೆಸರಿಟ್ಟನು.

೪೨ನೋಬಹನು ಯುದ್ಧಕ್ಕೆ ಹೊರಟು ಕೆನಾತ್ ಎಂಬ ಪಟ್ಟಣವನ್ನೂ ಮತ್ತು ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಸೇರಿದ ಊರುಗಳನ್ನೂ ಜಯಿಸಿ ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ನೋಬಹ ಎಂದು ತನ್ನ ಹೆಸರನ್ನೇ ಕೊಟ್ಟನು.
