Numbers 30

1 Then Moses said to the heads of the tribes of Israel, “This is what the LORD has commanded:

മോശെ യിസ്രായേൽമക്കളുടെ ഗോത്രപ്രധാനികളോടു പറഞ്ഞതു: യഹോവ കല്പിച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന കാൎയ്യം എന്തെന്നാൽ:

2 If a man makes a vow to the LORD or swears an oath to obligate himself by a pledge, he must not break his word; he must do everything he has promised.

ആരെങ്കിലും യഹോവെക്കു ഒരു നേൎച്ച നേരുകയോ ഒരു പരിവൎജ്ജനവ്രതം ദീക്ഷിപ്പാൻ ശപഥം ചെയ്കയോ ചെയ്താൽ അവൻ വാക്കിന്നു ഭംഗംവരുത്താതെ തന്റെ വായിൽനിന്നു പുറപ്പെട്ടതുപോലെ ഒക്കെയും നിവൎത്തിക്കേണം.

3 And if a woman in her father’s house during her youth makes a vow to the LORD or obligates herself by a pledge,

ഒരു സ്ത്രീ ബാല്യപ്രായത്തിൽ അപ്പന്റെ വീട്ടിൽ ഇരിക്കുമ്പോൾ യഹോവെക്കു ഒരു നേൎച്ചനേൎന്നു ഒരു പരിവൎജ്ജനവ്രതം നിശ്ചയിക്കയും

4 and her father hears about her vow or pledge but says nothing to her, then all the vows or pledges by which she has bound herself shall stand.

അവളുടെ അപ്പൻ അവളുടെ നേൎച്ചയെയും അവൾ നിശ്ചയിച്ച പരിവൎജ്ജനവ്രതത്തെയും കുറിച്ചു കേട്ടിട്ടു മിണ്ടാതിരിക്കയും ചെയ്താൽ അവളുടെ എല്ലാനേൎച്ചകളും അവൾ നിശ്ചയിച്ച പരിവൎജ്ജനവ്രതമൊക്കെയും സ്ഥിരമായിരിക്കും.

5 But if her father prohibits her on the day he hears about it, then none of the vows or pledges by which she has bound herself shall stand. The LORD will absolve her because her father has prohibited her.

എന്നാൽ അവളുടെ അപ്പൻ അവളുടെ എല്ലാനേൎച്ചയെയും അവൾ നിശ്ചയിച്ച പരിവൎജ്ജനവ്രതത്തെയും കുറിച്ചു കേൾക്കുന്ന നാളിൽ അവളോടു വിലക്കിയാൽ അവ സ്ഥിരമായിരിക്കയില്ല; അവളുടെ അപ്പൻ അവളോടു വിലക്കുകകൊണ്ടു യഹോവ അവളോടു ക്ഷമിക്കും.

6 If a woman marries while under a vow or rash promise by which she has bound herself,

അവൾക്കു ഒരു നേൎച്ചയോ വിചാരിക്കാതെ നിശ്ചയിച്ചുപോയ പരിവൎജ്ജനവ്രതമോ ഉള്ളപ്പോൾ

7 and her husband hears of it but says nothing to her on that day, then the vows or pledges by which she has bound herself shall stand.

അവൾ ഒരുത്തന്നു ഭാൎയ്യയാകയും ഭൎത്താവു അതിനെക്കുറിച്ചു കേൾക്കുന്ന നാളിൽ മിണ്ടാതിരിക്കയും ചെയ്താൽ അവളുടെ നേൎച്ചകളും അവൾ നിശ്ചയിച്ച പരിവൎജ്ജനവ്രതവും സ്ഥിരമായിരിക്കും.

8 But if her husband prohibits her when he hears of it, he nullifies the vow that binds her or the rash promise she has made, and the LORD will absolve her.

എന്നാൽ ഭൎത്താവു അതു കേട്ട നാളിൽ അവളോടു വിലക്കിയാൽ അവളുടെ നേൎച്ചയും അവൾ വിചാരിക്കാതെ നിശ്ചയിച്ചുപോയ പരിവൎജ്ജനവ്രതവും അവൻ ദുൎബ്ബലപ്പെടുത്തുന്നു; യഹോവ അവളോടു ക്ഷമിക്കും.

9 Every vow a widow or divorced woman pledges to fulfill is binding on her.

വിധവയോ ഉപേക്ഷിക്കപ്പെട്ടവളോ ചെയ്യുന്ന നേൎച്ചയും പരിവൎജ്ജനവ്രതവും എല്ലാം അവളുടെ മേൽ സ്ഥിരമായിരിക്കും.

10 If a woman in her husband’s house has made a vow or put herself under an obligation with an oath,

അവൾ ഭൎത്താവിന്റെ വീട്ടിൽവെച്ചു നേരുകയോ ഒരു പരിവൎജ്ജനശപഥം ചെയ്കയോ ചെയ്തിട്ടു

11 and her husband hears of it but says nothing to her and does not prohibit her, then all the vows or pledges by which she has bound herself shall stand.

ഭൎത്താവു അതിനെക്കുറിച്ചു കേൾക്കുമ്പോൾ മിണ്ടാതെയും അവളോടു വിലക്കാതെയും ഇരുന്നാൽ അവളുടെ നേൎച്ചകൾ ഒക്കെയും അവൾ നിശ്ചയിച്ച പരിവൎജ്ജനവ്രതവും എല്ലാം സ്ഥിരമായിരിക്കും.

12 But if her husband nullifies them on the day he hears of them, then nothing that came from her lips, whether her vows or pledges, shall stand. Her husband has nullified them, and the LORD will absolve her.

എന്നാൽ ഭൎത്താവു കേട്ട നാളിൽ അവയെ ദുൎബ്ബലപ്പെടുത്തി എങ്കിൽ നേൎച്ചകളോ പരിവൎജ്ജനവ്രതമോ സംബന്ധിച്ചു അവളുടെ നാവിന്മേൽനിന്നു വീണതൊന്നും സ്ഥിരമായിരിക്കയില്ല; അവളുടെ ഭൎത്താവു അതിനെ ദുൎബ്ബലപ്പെടുത്തിയിരിക്കുന്നു; യഹോവ അവളോടു ക്ഷമിക്കും.

13 Her husband may confirm or nullify any vow or any sworn pledge to deny herself.

ആത്മതപനം ചെയ്‌വാനുള്ള ഏതു നേൎച്ചയും പരിവൎജ്ജനശപഥവും സ്ഥിരപ്പെടുത്തുവാനോ ദുൎബ്ബലപ്പെടുത്തുവാനോ ഭൎത്താവിന്നു അധികാരം ഉണ്ടു.

14 But if her husband says nothing to her from day to day, then he confirms all the vows and pledges that bind her. He has confirmed them, because he said nothing to her on the day he heard about them.

എന്നാൽ ഭൎത്താവു ഒരിക്കലും ഒന്നും മിണ്ടിയില്ല എങ്കിൽ അവൻ അവളുടെ എല്ലാനേൎച്ചയും അവൾ നിശ്ചയിച്ച സകലപരിവൎജ്ജനവ്രതവും സ്ഥിരപ്പെടുത്തുന്നു. കേട്ട നാളിൽ മിണ്ടാതിരിക്കകൊണ്ടു അവൻ അവയെ സ്ഥിരപ്പെടുത്തിയിരിക്കുന്നു.

15 But if he nullifies them after he hears of them, then he will bear her iniquity.”

എന്നാൽ കേട്ടിട്ടു കുറെ കഴിഞ്ഞശേഷം അവയെ ദുൎബ്ബലപ്പെടുത്തിയാൽ അവൻ അവളുടെ കുറ്റം വഹിക്കും.

16 These are the statutes that the LORD commanded Moses concerning the relationship between a man and his wife, and between a father and a young daughter still in his home.

ഭാൎയ്യാഭർത്താക്കന്മാർ തമ്മിലും അപ്പന്റെ വീട്ടിൽ കന്യകയായി പാൎക്കുന്ന മകളും അപ്പനും തമ്മിലും പ്രമാണിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു യഹോവ മോശെയോടു കല്പിച്ച ചട്ടങ്ങൾ ഇവ തന്നേ.
