Numbers 26
1 After the plague had ended, the LORD said to Moses and Eleazar son of Aaron the priest,
Após a peste, Javé falou a Moisés e a Eleazar, filho de Aarão, o sacerdote, dizendo:
2 “Take a census of the whole congregation of Israel by the houses of their fathers—all those twenty years of age or older who can serve in the army of Israel.”
“Façam um censo de toda a congregação dos filhos de Israel, a partir dos vinte anos de idade, junto às casas de seus pais, todos os que podem sair à guerra em Israel”.
3 So on the plains of Moab by the Jordan, across from Jericho, Moses and Eleazar the priest issued the instruction,
Moisés e Eleazar, o sacerdote, falaram com eles nas planícies de Moab, junto ao Jordão em Jericó, dizendo,
4 “Take a census of the men twenty years of age or older, as the LORD has commanded Moses.” And these were the Israelites who came out of the land of Egypt:
“Façam um censo, a partir de vinte anos, como Javé ordenou a Moisés e aos filhos de Israel”. Estes são aqueles que saíram da terra do Egito.
5 Reuben was the firstborn of Israel. These were the descendants of Reuben: The Hanochite clan from Hanoch, the Palluite clan from Pallu,

6 the Hezronite clan from Hezron, and the Carmite clan from Carmi.

7 These were the clans of Reuben, and their registration numbered 43,730.
Estas são as famílias dos Rubenitas; e as que foram contadas delas foram quarenta e três mil setecentos e trinta.
8 Now the son of Pallu was Eliab,
O filho de Pallu: Eliab.
9 and the sons of Eliab were Nemuel, Dathan, and Abiram. It was Dathan and Abiram, chosen by the congregation, who fought against Moses and Aaron with the followers of Korah who rebelled against the LORD.
Os filhos de Eliab: Nemuel, Datã, e Abiram. Estes são aqueles Datã e Abirão que foram chamados pela congregação, que se rebelaram contra Moisés e contra Arão na companhia de Coré quando se rebelaram contra Yahweh;
10 And the earth opened its mouth and swallowed them along with Korah, whose followers died when the fire consumed 250 men. They serve as a warning sign.
e a terra abriu sua boca, e os engoliu junto com Coré quando aquela companhia morreu; na época o fogo devorou duzentos e cinqüenta homens, e eles se tornaram um sinal.
11 However, the line of Korah did not die out.
Notwithstanding, os filhos de Corá não morreram.
12 These were the descendants of Simeon by their clans: The Nemuelite clan from Nemuel, the Jaminite clan from Jamin, the Jachinite clan from Jachin,
Os filhos de Simeão depois de suas famílias: de Nemuel, a família dos Nemuelitas; de Jamin, a família dos Jaminitas; de Jachin, a família dos Jachinitas;
13 the Zerahite clan from Zerah, and the Shaulite clan from Shaul.

14 These were the clans of Simeon, and there were 22,200 men.
Estas são as famílias dos Simeonitas, vinte e dois mil e duzentos.
15 These were the descendants of Gad by their clans: The Zephonite clan from Zephon, the Haggite clan from Haggi, the Shunite clan from Shuni,
Os filhos de Gad depois de suas famílias: de Zephon, a família dos zefonitas; de Haggi, a família dos Haggitas; de Shuni, a família dos Shunitas;
16 the Oznite clan from Ozni, the Erite clan from Eri,
de Ozni, a família dos Oznitas; de Eri, a família dos Erites;
17 the Arodite clan from Arod, and the Arelite clan from Areli.

18 These were the clans of Gad, and their registration numbered 40,500.

19 The sons of Judah were Er and Onan, but they died in the land of Canaan.
Os filhos de Judá: Er e Onan. Er e Onan morreram na terra de Canaã.
20 These were the descendants of Judah by their clans: The Shelanite clan from Shelah, the Perezite clan from Perez, and the Zerahite clan from Zerah.
Os filhos de Judá depois de suas famílias foram: de Selá, a família dos Shelanitas; de Perez, a família dos Perezitas; de Zerah, a família dos Zerahitas.
21 And these were the descendants of Perez: the Hezronite clan from Hezron and the Hamulite clan from Hamul.

22 These were the clans of Judah, and their registration numbered 76,500.
Estas são as famílias de Judá, segundo aqueles que foram contados deles, setenta e seis mil e quinhentos.
23 These were the descendants of Issachar by their clans: The Tolaite clan from Tola, the Punite clan from Puvah,
Os filhos de Issachar após suas famílias: de Tola, a família dos Tolaítas; de Puvah, a família dos Punitas;
24 the Jashubite clan from Jashub, and the Shimronite clan from Shimron.

25 These were the clans of Issachar, and their registration numbered 64,300.

26 These were the descendants of Zebulun by their clans: The Seredite clan from Sered, the Elonite clan from Elon, and the Jahleelite clan from Jahleel.
Os filhos de Zebulom depois de suas famílias: de Sered, a família dos Sereditas; de Elon, a família dos Elonitas; de Jahleel, a família dos Jahleelitas.
27 These were the clans of Zebulun, and their registration numbered 60,500.
Estas são as famílias dos zebulunitas de acordo com aqueles que foram contados deles, sessenta mil e quinhentos.
28 The descendants of Joseph included the clans of Manasseh and Ephraim.
Os filhos de José, depois de suas famílias: Manasseh e Efraim.
29 These were the descendants of Manasseh: The Machirite clan from Machir, the father of Gilead, and the Gileadite clan from Gilead.
Os filhos de Manassés: de Machir, a família dos Machirites; e Machir tornou-se o pai de Gilead; de Gilead, a família dos Gileaditas.
30 These were the descendants of Gilead: the Iezerite clan from Iezer, the Helekite clan from Helek,
Estes são os filhos de Gilead: de Iezer, a família dos Iezeritas; de Helek, a família dos Helekitas;
31 the Asrielite clan from Asriel, the Shechemite clan from Shechem,

32 the Shemidaite clan from Shemida, and the Hepherite clan from Hepher.

33 Now Zelophehad son of Hepher had no sons but only daughters. The names of his daughters were Mahlah, Noah, Hoglah, Milcah, and Tirzah.
Zelophehad, o filho de Hepher, não tinha filhos, mas filhas: e os nomes das filhas de Zelophehad eram Mahlah, Noé, Hoglah, Milcah, e Tirzah.
34 These were the clans of Manasseh, and their registration numbered 52,700.
Estas são as famílias de Manasseh. Os que foram contados deles eram cinqüenta e dois mil e setecentos.
35 These were the descendants of Ephraim by their clans: The Shuthelahite clan from Shuthelah, the Becherite clan from Becher, and the Tahanite clan from Tahan.
Estes são os filhos de Efraim depois de suas famílias: de Shuthelah, a família dos Shuthelahitas; de Becher, a família dos Becheritas; de Tahan, a família dos Tahanitas.
36 And the descendants of Shuthelah were the Eranite clan from Eran.
Estes são os filhos de Shuthelah: de Eran, a família dos Eranitas.
37 These were the clans of Ephraim, and their registration numbered 32,500. These clans were the descendants of Joseph.
Estas são as famílias dos filhos de Efraim, segundo aqueles que foram contados deles, trinta e dois mil e quinhentos. Estes são os filhos de José, depois de suas famílias.
38 These were the descendants of Benjamin by their clans: The Belaite clan from Bela, the Ashbelite clan from Ashbel, the Ahiramite clan from Ahiram,
Os filhos de Benjamim depois de suas famílias: de Bela, a família dos Belaítas; de Ashbel, a família dos Ashbelitas; de Ahiram, a família dos Ahiramitas;
39 the Shuphamite clan from Shupham, and the Huphamite clan from Hupham.

40 And the descendants of Bela from Ard and Naaman were the Ardite clan from Ard and the Naamite clan from Naaman.

41 These were the clans of Benjamin, and their registration numbered 45,600.
Estes são os filhos de Benjamin depois de suas famílias; e os que foram contados deles foram quarenta e cinco mil e seiscentos.
42 These were the descendants of Dan by their clans: The Shuhamite clan from Shuham. These were the clans of Dan.

43 All of them were Shuhamite clans, and their registration numbered 64,400.
Todas as famílias dos Shuhamitas, segundo aqueles que foram contados deles, eram sessenta e quatro mil e quatrocentos.
44 These were the descendants of Asher by their clans: The Imnite clan from Imnah, the Ishvite clan from Ishvi, and the Beriite clan from Beriah.
Os filhos de Asher depois de suas famílias: de Imnah, a família dos imnitas; de Ishvi, a família dos Ishvitas; de Beriah, a família dos beritas.
45 And these were the descendants of Beriah: the Heberite clan from Heber and the Malchielite clan from Malchiel.
Dos filhos de Beriah: de Heber, a família dos Heberitas; de Malchiel, a família dos Malchielitas.
46 And the name of Asher’s daughter was Serah.
O nome da filha de Asher era Serah.
47 These were the clans of Asher, and their registration numbered 53,400.
Estas são as famílias dos filhos de Asher de acordo com aqueles que foram contados deles, cinqüenta e três mil e quatrocentos.
48 These were the descendants of Naphtali by their clans: The Jahzeelite clan from Jahzeel, the Gunite clan from Guni,
Os filhos de Naftali depois de suas famílias: de Jahzeel, a família dos Jahzeelitas; de Guni, a família dos Gunitas;
49 the Jezerite clan from Jezer, and the Shillemite clan from Shillem.

50 These were the clans of Naphtali, and their registration numbered 45,400.
Estas são as famílias de Naftali de acordo com suas famílias; e aqueles que foram contados deles eram quarenta e cinco mil e quatrocentos.
51 These men of Israel numbered 601,730 in all.
Estes são os que foram contados dos filhos de Israel, seiscentos e um mil e setecentos e trinta.
52 Then the LORD said to Moses,
Yahweh falou a Moisés, dizendo:
53 “The land is to be divided among the tribes as an inheritance, according to the number of names.
“A estes a terra será dividida para uma herança de acordo com o número de nomes”.
54 Increase the inheritance for a large tribe and decrease it for a small one; each tribe is to receive its inheritance according to the number of those registered.
“Quanto mais você der mais herança, e quanto menos você der menos herança. A todos, de acordo com aqueles que foram contados dele, será dada sua herança.
55 Indeed, the land must be divided by lot; they shall receive their inheritance according to the names of the tribes of their fathers.
Notwithstanding, a terra será dividida por sorteio. De acordo com os nomes das tribos de seus pais, eles herdarão.
56 Each inheritance is to be divided by lot among the larger and smaller tribes.”
De acordo com o lote, sua herança será dividida entre os mais e os menos”.
57 Now these were the Levites numbered by their clans: The Gershonite clan from Gershon, the Kohathite clan from Kohath, and the Merarite clan from Merari.
Estes são aqueles que foram contados dos Levitas depois de suas famílias: de Gershon, a família dos Gershonitas; de Kohath, a família dos Kohathitas; de Merari, a família dos Meraritas.
58 These were the families of the Levites: The Libnite clan, the Hebronite clan, the Mahlite clan, the Mushite clan, and the Korahite clan. Now Kohath was the father of Amram,
Estas são as famílias dos Levi: a família dos Libnitas, a família dos Hebronitas, a família dos Mahlitas, a família dos Mushitas, e a família dos Korahitas. Kohath tornou-se o pai de Amram.
59 and Amram’s wife was named Jochebed. She was also a daughter of Levi, born to Levi in Egypt. To Amram she bore Aaron, Moses, and their sister Miriam.
O nome da esposa de Amram era Jochebed, a filha de Levi, que nasceu a Levi no Egito. Ela deu à luz a Amram Arão e Moisés, e Miriam, sua irmã.
60 Nadab, Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar were born to Aaron,
Para Aaron nasceram Nadab e Abihu, Eleazar e Ithamar.
61 but Nadab and Abihu died when they offered unauthorized fire before the LORD.
Nadab e Abihu morreram quando ofereceram fogo estranho antes de Yahweh.
62 The registration of the Levites totaled 23,000, every male a month old or more; they were not numbered among the other Israelites, because no inheritance was given to them among the Israelites.
Os que foram contados entre eles eram vinte e três mil, cada homem de um mês para cima; pois não foram contados entre os filhos de Israel, pois não houve herança dada a eles entre os filhos de Israel.
63 These were the ones numbered by Moses and Eleazar the priest when they counted the Israelites on the plains of Moab by the Jordan, across from Jericho.
Estes são os que foram contados por Moisés e Eleazar, o sacerdote, que contavam os filhos de Israel nas planícies de Moabe, junto ao Jordão, em Jericó.
64 Among all these, however, there was not one who had been numbered by Moses and Aaron the priest when they counted the Israelites in the Wilderness of Sinai.
Mas entre eles não havia um homem que fosse contado por Moisés e Arão, o sacerdote, que contava os filhos de Israel no deserto do Sinai.
65 For the LORD had told them that they would surely die in the wilderness. Not one was left except Caleb son of Jephunneh and Joshua son of Nun.
Pois Yahweh havia dito deles: “Certamente morrerão no deserto”. Não sobrou nenhum homem deles, exceto Calebe, filho de Jefoné, e Josué, filho de Freira.
