Numbers 1
1 On the first day of the second month of the second year after the Israelites had come out of the land of Egypt, the LORD spoke to Moses in the Tent of Meeting in the Wilderness of Sinai. He said:
ଏଥିଉତ୍ତାରେ ଲୋକମାନେ ମିସର ଦେଶରୁ ବାହାର ହେବାର ଦ୍ୱିତୀୟ ବର୍ଷର ଦ୍ୱିତୀୟ ମାସର ପ୍ରଥମ ଦିନରେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ସୀନୟ ପ୍ରାନ୍ତରରେ ସମାଗମ-ତମ୍ବୁ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ମୋଶାଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ,
2 “Take a census of the whole congregation of Israel by their clans and families, listing every man by name, one by one.
“ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ-ସନ୍ତାନଗଣର ସମସ୍ତ ମଣ୍ଡଳୀର ବଂଶ ଅନୁସାରେ ଓ ପିତୃଗୃହ ଅନୁସାରେ ଓ ନାମ-ସଂଖ୍ୟାନୁସାରେ ପ୍ରତ୍ୟେକ ପୁରୁଷର ମସ୍ତକ ଗଣନା କର।
3 You and Aaron are to number those who are twenty years of age or older by their divisions—everyone who can serve in Israel’s army.
କୋଡ଼ିଏ ବର୍ଷରୁ ଅଧିକ ବର୍ଷ ବୟସ୍କ ଯେତେ ପୁରୁଷ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ ମଧ୍ୟରୁ ଯୁଦ୍ଧକୁ ଯିବାର ଯୋଗ୍ୟ, ସେମାନଙ୍କ ସୈନ୍ୟାନୁସାରେ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଓ ହାରୋଣ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଗଣନା କର।
4 And one man from each tribe, the head of each family, must be there with you.
ପୁଣି, ପ୍ରତ୍ୟେକ ବଂଶରୁ ଏକ ଏକ ଜଣ, ଅର୍ଥାତ୍, ଆପଣା ଆପଣା ପିତୃବଂଶର ପ୍ରଧାନ ଲୋକ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ସହକାରୀ ହେବେ।
5 These are the names of the men who are to assist you: From the tribe of Reuben, Elizur son of Shedeur;
ଆଉ ଯେଉଁମାନେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ସହକାରୀ ହେବେ, ସେମାନଙ୍କର ନାମ ଏହି: ଯଥା, ରୁବେନ୍ ବଂଶର ଶଦେୟରର ପୁତ୍ର ଇଲୀଷୂର।
6 from Simeon, Shelumiel son of Zurishaddai;
ଶିମୀୟୋନ ବଂଶର ସୂରୀଶଦ୍ଦୟର ପୁତ୍ର ଶଲୁମୀୟେଲ।
7 from Judah, Nahshon son of Amminadab;
ଯିହୁଦା ବଂଶର; ଅମ୍ମୀନାଦବର ପୁତ୍ର ନହଶୋନ
8 from Issachar, Nethanel son of Zuar;
ଇଷାଖର ବଂଶର; ସୂୟାରର ପୁତ୍ର ନଥନେଲ।
9 from Zebulun, Eliab son of Helon;
ସବୂଲୂନ ବଂଶର ହେଲୋନର ପୁତ୍ର ଇଲୀୟାବ୍
10 from the sons of Joseph: from Ephraim, Elishama son of Ammihud, and from Manasseh, Gamaliel son of Pedahzur;
ଯୋଷେଫର ପୁତ୍ରଗଣ ମଧ୍ୟରୁ ଇଫ୍ରୟିମ ବଂଶର; ଅମ୍ମୀହୂଦର ପୁତ୍ର ଇଲୀଶାମା; ମନଃଶି ବଂଶର; ପଦାହସୂରର ପୁତ୍ର ଗମଲୀୟେଲ।
11 from Benjamin, Abidan son of Gideoni;
ବିନ୍ୟାମୀନ୍ ବଂଶର; ଗିଦୀୟୋନର ପୁତ୍ର ଅବୀଦାନ୍।
12 from Dan, Ahiezer son of Ammishaddai;
ଦାନ୍ ବଂଶର; ଅମ୍ମୀଶଦ୍ଦୟର ପୁତ୍ର ଅହୀୟେଷର।
13 from Asher, Pagiel son of Ocran;
ଆଶେର ବଂଶର; ଅକ୍ରଣର ପୁତ୍ର ପଗୀୟେଲ।
14 from Gad, Eliasaph son of Deuel;
ଗାଦ୍ ବଂଶର; ଦ୍ୟୂୟେଲର ପୁତ୍ର ଇଲୀୟାସଫ୍।
15 and from Naphtali, Ahira son of Enan.”
ନପ୍ତାଲି ବଂଶର; ଐନନର ପୁତ୍ର ଅହୀର।”
16 These men were appointed from the congregation; they were the leaders of the tribes of their fathers, the heads of the clans of Israel.
ଏମାନେ ମଣ୍ଡଳୀର ଆହୂତ ଲୋକ, ଆପଣା ଆପଣା ପିତୃବଂଶର ଅଧିପତି, ଆଉ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲର ସହସ୍ରପତି ଥିଲେ।
17 So Moses and Aaron took these men who had been designated by name,
ତେବେ ମୋଶା ଓ ହାରୋଣ ଏହିସବୁ ନାମବିଶିଷ୍ଟ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ଗ୍ରହଣ କଲେ।
18 and on the first day of the second month they assembled the whole congregation and recorded their ancestry by clans and families, counting one by one the names of those twenty years of age or older,
ପୁଣି, ଦ୍ୱିତୀୟ ମାସର ପ୍ରଥମ ଦିନରେ ସମଗ୍ର ମଣ୍ଡଳୀକୁ ଏକତ୍ର କରି ମସ୍ତକ-ସଂଖ୍ୟାରେ କୋଡ଼ିଏ ବର୍ଷରୁ ଅଧିକ ବର୍ଷ ବୟସ୍କ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ବଂଶ, ପିତୃଗୃହ ଓ ନାମ-ସଂଖ୍ୟାନୁସାରେ ସେମାନଙ୍କର ବଂଶାବଳୀ ଲେଖିଲେ।
19 just as the LORD had commanded Moses. So Moses numbered them in the Wilderness of Sinai:
ଏହିରୂପେ ମୋଶା ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଆଜ୍ଞାନୁସାରେ ସୀନୟ ପ୍ରାନ୍ତରରେ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଗଣନା କଲେ।
20 From the sons of Reuben, the firstborn of Israel, according to the records of their clans and families, counting one by one the names of every male twenty years of age or older who could serve in the army,
ଇସ୍ରାଏଲଙ୍କର ଜ୍ୟେଷ୍ଠ ପୁତ୍ର ଯେ ରୁବେନ୍, ତାହାର ସନ୍ତାନଗଣର ବଂଶ, ପିତୃଗୃହ, ନାମସଂଖ୍ୟା ଓ ମସ୍ତକ ଗଣନାନୁସାରେ ଯୁଦ୍ଧକୁ ଯିବା ଯୋଗ୍ୟ କୋଡ଼ିଏ ବର୍ଷରୁ ଅଧିକ ବର୍ଷ ବୟସ୍କ ପୁରୁଷମାନଙ୍କର ବଂଶାବଳୀ;
21 those registered to the tribe of Reuben numbered 46,500.
ରୁବେନ୍ ବଂଶର ଗଣିତ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ସଂଖ୍ୟା ଛୟାଳିଶ ହଜାର ପାଞ୍ଚ ଶହ ହେଲା।
22 From the sons of Simeon, according to the records of their clans and families, counting one by one the names of every male twenty years of age or older who could serve in the army,
ଶିମୀୟୋନ-ସନ୍ତାନଗଣ ମଧ୍ୟରୁ ବଂଶ ଓ ପିତୃଗୃହ ଅନୁସାରେ ଯୁଦ୍ଧକୁ ଯିବା ଯୋଗ୍ୟ କୋଡ଼ିଏ ବର୍ଷରୁ ଅଧିକ ବର୍ଷ ବୟସ୍କ ଯେଉଁ ପୁରୁଷମାନେ ନାମସଂଖ୍ୟା ଓ ମସ୍ତକ ଗଣନାନୁସାରେ ଗଣାଗଲେ, ସେମାନଙ୍କର ବଂଶାବଳୀ;
23 those registered to the tribe of Simeon numbered 59,300.
ଶିମୀୟୋନ ବଂଶର ଗଣିତ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ସଂଖ୍ୟା ଊଣଷଠି ହଜାର ତିନି ଶହ ହେଲା।
24 From the sons of Gad, according to the records of their clans and families, counting the names of all those twenty years of age or older who could serve in the army,
ଗାଦ୍-ସନ୍ତାନଗଣର ବଂଶ, ପିତୃଗୃହ ଓ ନାମ-ସଂଖ୍ୟାନୁସାରେ ଯୁଦ୍ଧକୁ ଯିବା ଯୋଗ୍ୟ କୋଡ଼ିଏ ବର୍ଷରୁ ଅଧିକ ବର୍ଷ ବୟସ୍କ ପୁରୁଷମାନଙ୍କର ବଂଶାବଳୀ;
25 those registered to the tribe of Gad numbered 45,650.
ଗାଦ୍ ବଂଶର ଗଣିତ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ସଂଖ୍ୟା ପଞ୍ଚଚାଳିଶ ହଜାର ଛଅ ଶହ ପଚାଶ ହେଲା।
26 From the sons of Judah, according to the records of their clans and families, counting the names of all those twenty years of age or older who could serve in the army,
ଯିହୁଦା-ସନ୍ତାନଗଣର ବଂଶ, ପିତୃଗୃହ ଓ ନାମ-ସଂଖ୍ୟାନୁସାରେ ଯୁଦ୍ଧକୁ ଯିବା ଯୋଗ୍ୟ କୋଡ଼ିଏ ବର୍ଷରୁ ଅଧିକ ବର୍ଷ ବୟସ୍କ ପୁରୁଷମାନଙ୍କର ବଂଶାବଳୀ;
27 those registered to the tribe of Judah numbered 74,600.
ଯିହୁଦା ବଂଶର ଗଣିତ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ସଂଖ୍ୟା ଚଉସ୍ତରି ହଜାର ଛଅ ଶହ ହେଲା।
28 From the sons of Issachar, according to the records of their clans and families, counting the names of all those twenty years of age or older who could serve in the army,
ଇଷାଖର-ସନ୍ତାନଗଣର ବଂଶ, ପିତୃଗୃହ ଓ ନାମ-ସଂଖ୍ୟାନୁସାରେ ଯୁଦ୍ଧକୁ ଯିବା ଯୋଗ୍ୟ କୋଡ଼ିଏ ବର୍ଷରୁ ଅଧିକ ବର୍ଷ ବୟସ୍କ ପୁରୁଷମାନଙ୍କର ବଂଶାବଳୀ;
29 those registered to the tribe of Issachar numbered 54,400.
ଇଷାଖର ବଂଶର ଗଣିତ ଲୋକ ସଂଖ୍ୟା ଚଉବନ ହଜାର ଚାରି ଶହ ହେଲା।
30 From the sons of Zebulun, according to the records of their clans and families, counting the names of all those twenty years of age or older who could serve in the army,
ସବୂଲୂନ-ସନ୍ତାନଗଣର ବଂଶ, ପିତୃଗୃହ ଓ ନାମ-ସଂଖ୍ୟାନୁସାରେ ଯୁଦ୍ଧକୁ ଯିବା ଯୋଗ୍ୟ କୋଡ଼ିଏ ବର୍ଷରୁ ଅଧିକ ବର୍ଷ ବୟସ୍କ ପୁରୁଷମାନଙ୍କର ବଂଶାବଳୀ;
31 those registered to the tribe of Zebulun numbered 57,400.
ସବୂଲୂନ ବଂଶର ଗଣିତ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ସଂଖ୍ୟା ସତାବନ ହଜାର ଚାରି ଶହ ହେଲା।
32 From the sons of Joseph: From the sons of Ephraim, according to the records of their clans and families, counting the names of all those twenty years of age or older who could serve in the army,
ଯୋଷେଫ-ସନ୍ତାନଗଣର, ଯଥା, ଇଫ୍ରୟିମ-ସନ୍ତାନଗଣର ବଂଶ, ପିତୃଗୃହ ଓ ନାମ-ସଂଖ୍ୟାନୁସାରେ ଯୁଦ୍ଧକୁ ଯିବା ଯୋଗ୍ୟ କୋଡ଼ିଏ ବର୍ଷରୁ ଅଧିକ ବର୍ଷ ବୟସ୍କ ପୁରୁଷମାନଙ୍କ ବଂଶାବଳୀ;
33 those registered to the tribe of Ephraim numbered 40,500.
ଇଫ୍ରୟିମ ବଂଶର ଗଣିତ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ସଂଖ୍ୟା ଚାଳିଶ ହଜାର ପାଞ୍ଚ ଶହ ହେଲା।
34 And from the sons of Manasseh, according to the records of their clans and families, counting the names of all those twenty years of age or older who could serve in the army,
ମନଃଶି-ସନ୍ତାନଗଣର ବଂଶ, ପିତୃଗୃହ ଓ ନାମ-ସଂଖ୍ୟାନୁସାରେ ଯୁଦ୍ଧକୁ ଯିବା ଯୋଗ୍ୟ କୋଡ଼ିଏ ବର୍ଷରୁ ଅଧିକ ବର୍ଷ ବୟସ୍କ ପୁରୁଷମାନଙ୍କର ବଂଶାବଳୀ;
35 those registered to the tribe of Manasseh numbered 32,200.
ମନଃଶି ବଂଶର ଗଣିତ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ସଂଖ୍ୟା ବତ୍ରିଶ ହଜାର ଦୁଇ ଶହ ହେଲା।
36 From the sons of Benjamin, according to the records of their clans and families, counting the names of all those twenty years of age or older who could serve in the army,
ବିନ୍ୟାମୀନ୍-ସନ୍ତାନଗଣର ବଂଶ, ପିତୃଗୃହ ଓ ନାମ-ସଂଖ୍ୟାନୁସାରେ ଯୁଦ୍ଧକୁ ଯିବା ଯୋଗ୍ୟ କୋଡ଼ିଏ ବର୍ଷରୁ ଅଧିକ ବର୍ଷ ବୟସ୍କ ପୁରୁଷମାନଙ୍କ ବଂଶାବଳୀ;
37 those registered to the tribe of Benjamin numbered 35,400.
ବିନ୍ୟାମୀନ୍ ବଂଶର ଗଣିତ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ସଂଖ୍ୟା ପଞ୍ଚତିରିଶ ହଜାର ଚାରି ଶହ ହେଲା।
38 From the sons of Dan, according to the records of their clans and families, counting the names of all those twenty years of age or older who could serve in the army,
ଦାନ୍-ସନ୍ତାନଗଣର ବଂଶ, ପିତୃଗୃହ ଓ ନାମ-ସଂଖ୍ୟାନୁସାରେ ଯୁଦ୍ଧକୁ ଯିବା ଯୋଗ୍ୟ କୋଡ଼ିଏ ବର୍ଷରୁ ଅଧିକ ବର୍ଷ ବୟସ୍କ ପୁରୁଷମାନଙ୍କର ବଂଶାବଳୀ;
39 those registered to the tribe of Dan numbered 62,700.
ଦାନ୍ ବଂଶର ଗଣିତ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ସଂଖ୍ୟା ବାଷଠି ହଜାର ସାତ ଶହ ହେଲା।
40 From the sons of Asher, according to the records of their clans and families, counting the names of all those twenty years of age or older who could serve in the army,
ଆଶେର-ସନ୍ତାନଗଣର ବଂଶ, ପିତୃଗୃହ ଓ ନାମ-ସଂଖ୍ୟାନୁସାରେ ଯୁଦ୍ଧକୁ ଯିବା ଯୋଗ୍ୟ କୋଡ଼ିଏ ବର୍ଷରୁ ଅଧିକ ବର୍ଷ ବୟସ୍କ ପୁରୁଷମାନଙ୍କର ବଂଶାବଳୀ;
41 those registered to the tribe of Asher numbered 41,500.
ଆଶେର ବଂଶର ଗଣିତ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କର ସଂଖ୍ୟା ଏକଚାଳିଶ ହଜାର ପାଞ୍ଚ ଶହ ହେଲା।
42 From the sons of Naphtali, according to the records of their clans and families, counting the names of all those twenty years of age or older who could serve in the army,
ନପ୍ତାଲି-ସନ୍ତାନଗଣର ବଂଶ, ପିତୃଗୃହ ଓ ନାମ-ସଂଖ୍ୟାନୁସାରେ ଯୁଦ୍ଧକୁ ଯିବା ଯୋଗ୍ୟ କୋଡ଼ିଏ ବର୍ଷରୁ ଅଧିକ ବର୍ଷ ବୟସ୍କ ପୁରୁଷମାନଙ୍କ ବଂଶାବଳୀ;
43 those registered to the tribe of Naphtali numbered 53,400.
ନପ୍ତାଲି ବଂଶର ଗଣିତ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ସଂଖ୍ୟା ତେପନ ହଜାର ଚାରି ଶହ ହେଲା।
44 These were the men numbered by Moses and Aaron, with the assistance of the twelve leaders of Israel, each one representing his family.
ଏହି ଲୋକମାନେ ଗଣିତ ହେଲେ; ମୋଶା, ହାରୋଣ ଓ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲର ବାର ଜଣ ଅଧିପତି, ଅର୍ଥାତ୍, ଏକ ଏକ ପିତୃଗୃହ ନିମନ୍ତେ ଏକ ଏକ ଅଧିପତି ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଗଣନା କଲେ।
45 So all the Israelites twenty years of age or older who could serve in Israel’s army were counted according to their families.
ଏହିରୂପେ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ-ସନ୍ତାନଗଣ ଆପଣା ଆପଣା ପିତୃଗୃହାନୁସାରେ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ ମଧ୍ୟରୁ ଯୁଦ୍ଧକୁ ଯିବା ଯୋଗ୍ୟ କୋଡ଼ିଏ ବର୍ଷରୁ ଅଧିକ ବର୍ଷ ବୟସ୍କ ଲୋକମାନେ ଗଣିତ ହେଲେ।
46 And all those counted totaled 603,550.
ଏହିସବୁ ଗଣିତ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ସଂଖ୍ୟା ଛଅ ଲକ୍ଷ ତିନି ହଜାର ପାଞ୍ଚ ଶହ ପଚାଶ ଜଣ ହେଲା।
47 The Levites, however, were not numbered along with them by the tribe of their fathers.
ମାତ୍ର ଲେବୀୟମାନେ ଆପଣା ପିତୃବଂଶାନୁସାରେ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଗଣାଗଲେ ନାହିଁ।
48 For the LORD had said to Moses:
କାରଣ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ମୋଶାଙ୍କୁ କହିଥିଲେ,
49 “Do not number the tribe of Levi in the census with the other Israelites.
“ତୁମ୍ଭେ କେବଳ ଲେବୀୟ ବଂଶର ଗଣନା କରିବ ନାହିଁ, କିଅବା ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ-ସନ୍ତାନଗଣ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ସେମାନଙ୍କର ସଂଖ୍ୟା ନେବ ନାହିଁ;
50 Instead, you are to appoint the Levites over the tabernacle of the Testimony, all its furnishings, and everything in it. They shall carry the tabernacle and all its articles, care for it, and camp around it.
ମାତ୍ର ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସାକ୍ଷ୍ୟର ଆବାସ, ତହିଁର ସକଳ ଦ୍ରବ୍ୟ ଓ ତତ୍ସମ୍ବନ୍ଧୀୟ ସମସ୍ତ ବିଷୟ ଉପରେ ଲେବୀୟମାନଙ୍କୁ ନିଯୁକ୍ତ କରିବ; ସେମାନେ ଆବାସ ଓ ତହିଁର ସମସ୍ତ ଦ୍ରବ୍ୟ ବହିବେ ଓ ସେମାନେ ତହିଁର ସେବା କରିବେ ଓ ଆବାସର ଚାରିଆଡ଼େ ଛାଉଣି କରି ରହିବେ।
51 Whenever the tabernacle is to move, the Levites are to take it down, and whenever it is to be pitched, the Levites are to set it up. Any outsider who goes near it must be put to death.
ପୁଣି, ଆବାସ ଆଗକୁ ଯିବା ସମୟରେ ଲେବୀୟମାନେ ତାହା ଭାଙ୍ଗିବେ ଓ ଆବାସ ସ୍ଥାପନ କରିବା ସମୟରେ ଲେବୀୟମାନେ ତାହା ସ୍ଥାପନ କରିବେ ଓ ଅନ୍ୟ ବଂଶୀୟ ଲୋକ ତାହା ନିକଟକୁ ଗଲେ, ତାହାର ପ୍ରାଣଦଣ୍ଡ ହେବ।
52 The Israelites are to camp by their divisions, each man in his own camp and under his own standard.
ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ-ସନ୍ତାନଗଣ ଆପଣା ଆପଣା ସୈନ୍ୟାନୁସାରେ ଆପଣା ଆପଣା ଛାଉଣିରେ ଆପଣା ଆପଣା ଧ୍ୱଜା ନିକଟରେ ତମ୍ବୁ ସ୍ଥାପନ କରିବେ।
53 But the Levites are to camp around the tabernacle of the Testimony and watch over it, so that no wrath will fall on the congregation of Israel. So the Levites are responsible for the tabernacle of the Testimony.”
ମାତ୍ର ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ-ସନ୍ତାନଗଣର ମଣ୍ଡଳୀ ପ୍ରତି ଯେପରି କ୍ରୋଧ ନ ଘଟେ, ଏଥିପାଇଁ ଲେବୀୟମାନେ ସାକ୍ଷ୍ୟ-ଆବାସର ଚାରିଆଡ଼େ ଛାଉଣି ସ୍ଥାପନ କରିବେ; ପୁଣି, ଲେବୀୟମାନେ ସାକ୍ଷ୍ୟ-ଆବାସ ରକ୍ଷା କରିବେ।”
54 Thus the Israelites did everything just as the LORD had commanded Moses.
ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ-ସନ୍ତାନଗଣ ଏହିରୂପେ କଲେ; ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ମୋଶାଙ୍କୁ ଯେଉଁ ସମସ୍ତ ଆଜ୍ଞା ଦେଇଥିଲେ, ତଦନୁସାରେ ସେମାନେ କଲେ।
