Micah 1
1 This is the word of the LORD that came to Micah the Moreshite in the days of Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah, kings of Judah—what he saw regarding Samaria and Jerusalem:
La palabra del Señor que vino a Miqueas de Moreset, en los días de Jotam, Acaz y Ezequías, reyes de Judá; su visión sobre Samaria y Jerusalén.
2 Hear, O peoples, all of you; listen, O earth, and everyone in it! May the Lord GOD bear witness against you, the Lord from His holy temple.
Escuchen, pueblos, todos ustedes; presta atención, oh tierra y todo lo que hay en ella: deja que el Señor Dios sea testigo contra ustedes, el Señor desde su santo Templo.
3 For behold, the LORD comes forth from His dwelling place; He will come down and tread on the high places of the earth.
Porque mira, el Señor está saliendo de su lugar, y descenderá, pisando los lugares altos de la tierra.
4 The mountains will melt beneath Him, and the valleys will split apart, like wax before the fire, like water rushing down a slope.
Y las montañas se derriten debajo de él, y los profundos valles se abrirán, como cera ante el fuego, como las aguas que fluyen cuesta abajo.
5 All this is for the transgression of Jacob and the sins of the house of Israel. What is the transgression of Jacob? Is it not Samaria? And what is the high place of Judah? Is it not Jerusalem?
Todo esto se debe a la rebeldía de Jacob y los pecados de los hijos de Israel. ¿Cuál es la rebeldía de Jacob? ¿No es Samaria? ¿Y cuáles son los lugares altos de Judá? ¿No son Jerusalén?
6 Therefore I will make Samaria a heap of rubble in the open field, a planting area for a vineyard. I will pour her stones into the valley and expose her foundations.
Entonces haré de Samaria un montón de ruinas en el campo, y plantaciones de viñedo; enviaré sus piedras cayendo al valle, descubriendo sus bases.
7 All her carved images will be smashed to pieces; all her wages will be burned in the fire, and I will destroy all her idols. Since she collected the wages of a prostitute, they will be used again on a prostitute.
Y todas sus imágenes representadas serán hechas pedazos, y todos sus ganancias serán quemadas con fuego, y todas las imágenes de sus dioses los destruiré; porque con la ganancia de prostituta ella los reunió, y a ganancias de prostituta los convertiré otra vez.
8 Because of this I will lament and wail; I will walk barefoot and naked. I will howl like a jackal and mourn like an ostrich.
Por esto estaré lleno de tristeza y daré gritos de dolor; Descalzo y desnudo andaré; daré gritos de dolor como los chacales y estaré triste como los búhos.
9 For her wound is incurable; it has reached even Judah; it has approached the gate of my people, as far as Jerusalem itself.
Porque sus heridas no pueden curarse, porque ha llegado incluso a Judá, extendiéndose hasta la puerta de mi pueblo, incluso a Jerusalén.
10 Do not tell it in Gath; do not weep at all. Roll in the dust in Beth-leaphrah.
No digas nada en Gat, que no haya llanto en absoluto; en Betle Afra revuelcate en el polvo.
11 Depart in shameful nakedness, O dwellers of Shaphir. The dwellers of Zaanan will not come out. Beth-ezel is in mourning; its support is taken from you.
Pasate desnuda con vergüenza, tú que vives en Safir: el que vive en Zaanan no ha salido de su ciudad; la lamentación de Bet-esel es que él quitara de ustedes su apoyo.
12 For the dwellers of Maroth pined for good, but calamity came down from the LORD, even to the gate of Jerusalem.
Porque el que vive en Marot se retuerce esperando el bien; porque el mal ha descendido del Señor a las puertas de Jerusalén.
13 Harness your chariot horses, O dweller of Lachish. You were the beginning of sin to the Daughter of Zion, for the transgressions of Israel were found in you.
Que el carruaje de guerra esté unido al caballo que corre rápido, tú que vives en Laquis; ella fue la primera causa de pecado para la hija de Sión; porque las malas acciones de Israel se vieron en ti.
14 Therefore, send farewell gifts to Moresheth-gath; the houses of Achzib will prove deceptive to the kings of Israel.
Por esta causa da una ofrenda de despedida a Moreset-Gat; la casa de Aczib será un engaño para el rey de Israel.
15 I will again bring a conqueror against you, O dweller of Mareshah. The glory of Israel will come to Adullam.
Incluso ahora, el que toma tu herencia vendrá a ti, tú que vives en Maresa; hasta Adulam la gloria de Israel se ira.
16 Shave yourselves bald and cut off your hair in mourning for your precious children; make yourselves as bald as an eagle, for they will go from you into exile.
Deja que te destapen la cabeza y te corten el pelo de dolor por los hijos que tanto amas; deja que el cabello se te quite de la cabeza como el de un águila; porque irán al cautiverio lejos de ti.
