Matthew 8
1 When Jesus came down from the mountain, large crowds followed Him.
| کاتێک عیسا لە چیاکە هاتە خوارەوە، خەڵکێکی زۆر دوای کەوتن. |
2 Suddenly a leper came and knelt before Him, saying, “Lord, if You are willing, You can make me clean.”
| ئەوە بوو پیاوێک هات کە نەخۆشی گولی هەبوو، کڕنۆشی بۆ برد و گوتی: «گەورەم، ئەگەر بتەوێت، دەتوانیت پاکم بکەیتەوە.» |
3 Jesus reached out His hand and touched the man. “I am willing,” He said. “Be clean!” And immediately his leprosy was cleansed.
| عیساش دەستی بۆ درێژکرد و دەستی لێدا و فەرمووی: «دەمەوێت، پاک بەرەوە!» دەستبەجێ لە گولی پاک بووەوە. |
4 Then Jesus instructed him, “See that you don’t tell anyone. But go, show yourself to the priest and offer the gift prescribed by Moses, as a testimony to them.”
| ئینجا عیسا پێی فەرموو: «ئاگاداربە، بە کەس مەڵێ، بەڵام بڕۆ خۆت پیشانی کاهین بدە و ئەو قوربانییەی موسا فەرمانی کردووە بیکە، وەک شایەتییەک بۆیان.» |
5 When Jesus had entered Capernaum, a centurion came and pleaded with Him,
| کاتێک عیسا چووە ناو کەفەرناحوم، سەرپەلێک هاتە لای، لێی پاڕایەوە |
6 “Lord, my servant lies at home, paralyzed and in terrible agony.”
| و گوتی: «گەورەم، خزمەتکارەکەم بە ئیفلیجی لە ماڵەوە کەوتووە و ئازارێکی زۆری هەیە.» |
7 “I will go and heal him,” Jesus replied.
| عیسا پێی فەرموو: «من دێم و چاکی دەکەمەوە.» |
8 The centurion answered, “Lord, I am not worthy to have You come under my roof. But just say the word, and my servant will be healed.
| سەرپەلەکەش وەڵامی دایەوە: «گەورەم شایانی ئەوە نیم خۆت بێیتە ماڵەکەم، بەڵکو تەنها وشەیەک بفەرموو خزمەتکارەکەم چاکدەبێتەوە، |
9 For I myself am a man under authority, with soldiers under me. I tell one to go, and he goes; and another to come, and he comes. I tell my servant to do something, and he does it.”
| چونکە منیش خۆم کەسێکم لەژێر فەرماندام، سەربازیشم لەژێر دەستدایە. بەمە دەڵێم:”بڕۆ،“دەڕوات؛ بەوی دیکەش دەڵێم:”وەرە،“دێت؛ بە کۆیلەکەشم دەڵێم:”ئەمە بکە،“دەیکات.» |
10 When Jesus heard this, He marveled and said to those following Him, “Truly I tell you, I have not found anyone in Israel with such great faith.
| کاتێک عیسا گوێی لەمە بوو، سەرسام بوو، بەوانەی فەرموو کە دوای کەوتبوون: «ڕاستیتان پێ دەڵێم، لە ئیسرائیلدا کەسم نەدیوە باوەڕێکی بەهێزی ئاوای هەبێت. |
11 I say to you that many will come from the east and the west to share the banquet with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven.
| پێتان دەڵێم کە خەڵکێکی زۆر لە ڕۆژهەڵات و ڕۆژئاواوە دێن و لەگەڵ ئیبراهیم و ئیسحاق و یاقوب لە شانشینی ئاسماندا لەسەر خوان دادەنیشن. |
12 But the sons of the kingdom will be thrown into the outer darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.”
| بەڵام ڕۆڵەکانی شانشین فڕێدەدرێنە تاریکی دەرەوە، جا گریان و جیڕەی ددان لەوێ دەبێت.» |
13 Then Jesus said to the centurion, “Go! As you have believed, so will it be done for you.” And his servant was healed at that very hour.
| ئینجا عیسا بە سەرپەلەکەی فەرموو: «بڕۆ! با هەروەک باوەڕت هێنا، بۆت ببێت.» جا لەو کاتەدا خزمەتکارەکەی چاک بووەوە. |
14 When Jesus arrived at Peter’s house, He saw Peter’s mother-in-law sick in bed with a fever.
| عیسا هاتە ماڵی پەترۆس، خەسووی پەترۆسی بینی لەناو جێگادا کەوتووە، تای هەیە. |
15 So He touched her hand, and the fever left her, and she got up and began to serve them.
| عیسا دەستی لە دەستی دا و تایەکە بەریدا. ئەویش هەستا و دەستی کرد بە خزمەتکردنیان. |
16 When evening came, many who were demon-possessed were brought to Jesus, and He drove out the spirits with a word and healed all the sick.
| کاتێک ئێوارە داهات، زۆر کەسیان بۆ هێنا ڕۆحی پیسیان تێدابوو، ئەویش بە وشەیەک ڕۆحە پیسەکانی دەرکرد و هەموو نەخۆشەکانی چاککردەوە، |
17 This was to fulfill what was spoken through the prophet Isaiah: “He took on our infirmities and carried our diseases.”
| تاکو ئەوەی لە ڕێگەی پێغەمبەر ئیشایاوە گوتراوە بێتە دی کە دەڵێ: [ئەو دەردەکانی ئێمەی هەڵگرت و نەخۆشییەکانمانی برد.] |
18 When Jesus saw a large crowd around Him, He gave orders to cross to the other side of the sea.
| کاتێک عیسا خەڵکێکی زۆری لە دەوری خۆی بینی، فەرمانی بە قوتابییەکانی دا کە بپەڕنەوە ئەوبەری دەریاچەکە. |
19 And one of the scribes came to Him and said, “Teacher, I will follow You wherever You go.”
| مامۆستایەکی تەورات هاتە لای و پێی گوت: «مامۆستا، بۆ هەرکوێ بچیت دوات دەکەوم.» |
20 Jesus replied, “Foxes have dens and birds of the air have nests, but the Son of Man has no place to lay His head.”
| عیساش پێی فەرموو: «ڕێوی کونی هەیە و باڵندەی ئاسمانیش هێلانە، بەڵام کوڕی مرۆڤ جێیەکی نییە کە سەری لەسەر دابنێت.» |
21 Another of His disciples requested, “Lord, first let me go and bury my father.”
| یەکێکی دیکە لە قوتابییەکانی پێی گوت: «گەورەم، ڕێگام بدە یەکەم جار بچم باوکم بنێژم.» |
22 But Jesus told him, “Follow Me, and let the dead bury their own dead.”
| بەڵام عیسا پێی فەرموو: «دوام بکەوە، واز لە مردووان بهێنە با مردووەکانی خۆیان بنێژن.» |
23 When He got into the boat, His disciples followed Him.
| کاتێک عیسا سواری بەلەمەکە بوو، قوتابییەکانی دوای کەوتن. |
24 Suddenly a violent storm came up on the sea, so that the boat was engulfed by the waves; but Jesus was sleeping.
| لەناکاو ڕەشەبایەکی بەهێز هەڵیکردە سەر دەریاچەکە، خەریک بوو شەپۆلەکان بەلەمەکە داپۆشن، بەڵام عیسا نوستبوو. |
25 The disciples went and woke Him, saying, “Lord, save us! We are perishing!”
| ئینجا قوتابییەکانی چوون و هەڵیانستاند و گوتیان: «گەورەم، ڕزگارمان بکە! وا لەناودەچین!» |
26 “You of little faith,” Jesus replied, “why are you so afraid?” Then He got up and rebuked the winds and the sea, and it was perfectly calm.
| ئەویش پێی فەرموون: «ئەی کەم باوەڕینە، بۆچی دەترسن؟» ئینجا هەستا، لە ڕەشەبا و دەریاچەکەی ڕاخوڕی، ئیتر بووە هێمنییەکی تەواو. |
27 The men were amazed and asked, “What kind of man is this? Even the winds and the sea obey Him!”
| ئەوانیش سەرسام بوون و گوتیان: «ئەمە چ مرۆڤێکە؟ تەنانەت با و دەریاش گوێڕایەڵی دەبن!» |
28 When Jesus arrived on the other side in the region of the Gadarenes, He was met by two demon-possessed men coming from the tombs. They were so violent that no one could pass that way.
| کاتێک عیسا گەیشتە ئەوبەری دەریاچەکە، لە هەرێمی گەدەرین، دوو کەسی تووش بوو کە ڕۆحی پیسیان تێدابوو، لە گۆڕستانەوە هاتبوونە دەرەوە. بە ڕادەیەک توندوتیژ بوون کە تەنانەت کەس نەیدەتوانی بەو ڕێگایەدا تێبپەڕێت. |
29 “What do You want with us, Son of God?” they shouted. “Have You come here to torture us before the appointed time?”
| هاواریان کرد و گوتیان: «چیت لێمان دەوێ، ئەی کوڕی خودا؟ ئایا پێشوەخت بۆ ئێرە هاتوویت، تاکو ئەشکەنجەمان بدەیت؟» |
30 In the distance a large herd of pigs was feeding.
| لە دووری ئەوانەوە ڕانە بەرازێکی گەورە دەلەوەڕان. |
31 So the demons begged Jesus, “If You drive us out, send us into the herd of pigs.”
| ڕۆحە پیسەکانیش لێی پاڕانەوە و گوتیان: «ئەگەر دەرماندەکەیت، بماننێرە ناو ڕانە بەرازەکە.» |
32 “Go!” He told them. So they came out and went into the pigs, and the whole herd rushed down the steep bank into the sea and died in the waters.
| ئەویش پێی فەرموون: «بڕۆن!» ئەوانیش لە دوو کەسەکە هاتنە دەرەوە و چوونە ناو بەرازەکان، ئەوە بوو هەموو ڕانەکە بە خێرایی لە قەدپاڵەکەوە بۆ ناو دەریاچەکە هەڵدێران و لە ئاوەکەدا خنکان. |
33 Those tending the pigs ran off into the town and reported all this, including the account of the demon-possessed men.
| بەرازەوانەکانیش ڕایانکرد بۆ ناو شار و هەموو شتێکیان گێڕایەوە، بگرە ئەو ڕووداوەشیان گێڕایەوە کە بەسەر ئەوانەدا هاتبوو کە ڕۆحی پیسیان تێدابوو. |
34 Then the whole town went out to meet Jesus. And when they saw Him, they begged Him to leave their region.
| ئەوە بوو شارەکە هەمووی بۆ بینینی عیسا هاتنە دەرەوە، کە بینییان، لێی پاڕانەوە ناوچەکەیان بەجێبهێڵێت. |
