Matthew 22
1 Once again, Jesus spoke to them in parables:
အနန္တရံ ယီၑုး ပုနရပိ ဒၖၐ္ဋာန္တေန တာန် အဝါဒီတ်,
2 “The kingdom of heaven is like a king who prepared a wedding banquet for his son.
သွရ္ဂီယရာဇျမ် ဧတာဒၖၑသျ နၖပတေး သမံ, ယော နိဇ ပုတြံ ဝိဝါဟယန် သရွွာန် နိမန္တြိတာန် အာနေတုံ ဒါသေယာန် ပြဟိတဝါန်,
3 He sent his servants to call those he had invited to the banquet, but they refused to come.
ကိန္တု တေ သမာဂန္တုံ နေၐ္ဋဝန္တး၊
4 Again, he sent other servants and said, ‘Tell those who have been invited that I have prepared my dinner. My oxen and fattened cattle have been killed, and everything is ready. Come to the wedding banquet.’
တတော ရာဇာ ပုနရပိ ဒါသာနနျာန် ဣတျုက္တွာ ပြေၐယာမာသ, နိမန္တြိတာန် ဝဒတ, ပၑျတ, မမ ဘေဇျမာသာဒိတမာသ္တေ, နိဇဝ္ဋၐာဒိပုၐ္ဋဇန္တူန် မာရယိတွာ သရွွံ ခါဒျဒြဝျမာသာဒိတဝါန်, ယူယံ ဝိဝါဟမာဂစ္ဆတ၊
5 But they paid no attention and went away, one to his field, another to his business.
တထပိ တေ တုစ္ဆီကၖတျ ကေစိတ် နိဇက္ၐေတြံ ကေစိဒ် ဝါဏိဇျံ ပြတိ သွသွမာရ္ဂေဏ စလိတဝန္တး၊
6 The rest seized his servants, mistreated them, and killed them.
အနျေ လောကာသ္တသျ ဒါသေယာန် ဓၖတွာ ဒေါ်ရာတ္မျံ ဝျဝဟၖတျ တာနဝဓိၐုး၊
7 The king was enraged, and he sent his troops to destroy those murderers and burn their city.
အနန္တရံ သ နၖပတိသ္တာံ ဝါရ္တ္တာံ ၑြုတွာ ကြုဓျန် သဲနျာနိ ပြဟိတျ တာန် ဃာတကာန် ဟတွာ တေၐာံ နဂရံ ဒါဟယာမာသ၊
8 Then he said to his servants, ‘The wedding banquet is ready, but those I invited were not worthy.
တတး သ နိဇဒါသေယာန် ဗဘာၐေ, ဝိဝါဟီယံ ဘောဇျမာသာဒိတမာသ္တေ, ကိန္တု နိမန္တြိတာ ဇနာ အယောဂျား၊
9 Go therefore to the crossroads and invite to the banquet as many as you can find.’
တသ္မာဒ် ယူယံ ရာဇမာရ္ဂံ ဂတွာ ယာဝတော မနုဇာန် ပၑျတ, တာဝတဧဝ ဝိဝါဟီယဘောဇျာယ နိမန္တြယတ၊
10 So the servants went out into the streets and gathered everyone they could find, both evil and good, and the wedding hall was filled with guests.
တဒါ တေ ဒါသေယာ ရာဇမာရ္ဂံ ဂတွာ ဘဒြာန် အဘဒြာန် ဝါ ယာဝတော ဇနာန် ဒဒၖၑုး, တာဝတဧဝ သံဂၖဟျာနယန်; တတော'ဘျာဂတမနုဇဲ ရွိဝါဟဂၖဟမ် အပူရျျတ၊
11 But when the king came in to see the guests, he spotted a man who was not dressed in wedding clothes.
တဒါနီံ သ ရာဇာ သရွွာနဘျာဂတာန် ဒြၐ္ဋုမ် အဘျန္တရမာဂတဝါန်; တဒါ တတြ ဝိဝါဟီယဝသနဟီနမေကံ ဇနံ ဝီက္ၐျ တံ ဇဂါဒ်,
12 ‘Friend,’ he asked, ‘how did you get in here without wedding clothes?’ But the man was speechless.
ဟေ မိတြ, တွံ ဝိဝါဟီယဝသနံ ဝိနာ ကထမတြ ပြဝိၐ္ဋဝါန်? တေန သ နိရုတ္တရော ဗဘူဝ၊
13 Then the king told the servants, ‘Tie him hand and foot, and throw him into the outer darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’
တဒါ ရာဇာ နိဇာနုစရာန် အဝဒတ်, ဧတသျ ကရစရဏာန် ဗဒ္ဓါ ယတြ ရောဒနံ ဒန္တဲရ္ဒန္တဃရ္ၐဏဉ္စ ဘဝတိ, တတြ ဝဟိရ္ဘူတတမိသြေ တံ နိက္ၐိပတ၊
14 For many are called, but few are chosen.”
ဣတ္ထံ ဗဟဝ အာဟူတာ အလ္ပေ မနောဘိမတား၊
15 Then the Pharisees went out and conspired to trap Jesus in His words.
အနန္တရံ ဖိရူၑိနး ပြဂတျ ယထာ သံလာပေန တမ် ဥန္မာထေ ပါတယေယုသ္တထာ မန္တြယိတွာ
16 They sent their disciples to Him along with the Herodians. “Teacher,” they said, “we know that You are honest and that You teach the way of God in accordance with the truth. You seek favor from no one, because You pay no attention to external appearance.
ဟေရောဒီယမနုဇဲး သာကံ နိဇၑိၐျဂဏေန တံ ပြတိ ကထယာမာသုး, ဟေ ဂုရော, ဘဝါန် သတျး သတျမီၑွရီယမာရ္ဂမုပဒိၑတိ, ကမပိ မာနုၐံ နာနုရုဓျတေ, ကမပိ နာပေက္ၐတေ စ, တဒ် ဝယံ ဇာနီမး၊
17 So tell us what You think: Is it lawful to pay taxes to Caesar or not?”
အတး ကဲသရဘူပါယ ကရော'သ္မာကံ ဒါတဝျော န ဝါ? အတြ ဘဝတာ ကိံ ဗုဓျတေ? တဒ် အသ္မာန် ဝဒတု၊
18 But Jesus knew their evil intent and said, “You hypocrites, why are you testing Me?
တတော ယီၑုသ္တေၐာံ ခလတာံ ဝိဇ္ဉာယ ကထိတဝါန်, ရေ ကပဋိနး ယုယံ ကုတော မာံ ပရိက္ၐဓွေ?
19 Show Me the coin used for the tax.” And they brought Him a denarius.
တတ္ကရဒါနသျ မုဒြာံ မာံ ဒရ္ၑယတ၊ တဒါနီံ တဲသ္တသျ သမီပံ မုဒြာစတုရ္ထဘာဂ အာနီတေ
20 “Whose image is this,” He asked, “and whose inscription?”
သ တာန် ပပြစ္ဆ, အတြ ကသျေယံ မူရ္တ္တိ ရ္နာမ စာသ္တေ? တေ ဇဂဒုး, ကဲသရဘူပသျ၊
21 “Caesar’s,” they answered. So Jesus told them, “Give to Caesar what is Caesar’s, and to God what is God’s.”
တတး သ ဥက္တဝါန, ကဲသရသျ ယတ် တတ် ကဲသရာယ ဒတ္တ, ဤၑွရသျ ယတ် တဒ် ဤၑွရာယ ဒတ္တ၊
22 And when they heard this, they were amazed. So they left Him and went away.
ဣတိ ဝါကျံ နိၑမျ တေ ဝိသ္မယံ ဝိဇ္ဉာယ တံ ဝိဟာယ စလိတဝန္တး၊
23 That same day the Sadducees, who say there is no resurrection, came to Jesus and questioned Him.
တသ္မိန္နဟနိ သိဒူကိနော'ရ္ထာတ် ၑ္မၑာနာတ် နောတ္ထာသျန္တီတိ ဝါကျံ ယေ ဝဒန္တိ, တေ ယီၑေရန္တိကမ် အာဂတျ ပပြစ္ဆုး,
24 “Teacher,” they said, “Moses declared that if a man dies without having children, his brother is to marry the widow and raise up offspring for him.
ဟေ ဂုရော, ကၑ္စိန္မနုဇၑ္စေတ် နိးသန္တာနး သန် ပြာဏာန် တျဇတိ, တရှိ တသျ ဘြာတာ တသျ ဇာယာံ ဝျုဟျ ဘြာတုး သန္တာနမ် ဥတ္ပာဒယိၐျတီတိ မူသာ အာဒိၐ္ဋဝါန်၊
25 Now there were seven brothers among us. The first one married and died without having children. So he left his wife to his brother.
ကိန္တွသ္မာကမတြ ကေ'ပိ ဇနား သပ္တသဟောဒရာ အာသန်, တေၐာံ ဇျေၐ္ဌ ဧကာံ ကနျာံ ဝျဝဟာတ်, အပရံ ပြာဏတျာဂကာလေ သွယံ နိးသန္တာနး သန် တာံ သ္တြိယံ သွဘြာတရိ သမရ္ပိတဝါန်,
26 The same thing happened to the second and third brothers, down to the seventh.
တတော ဒွိတီယာဒိသပ္တမာန္တာၑ္စ တထဲဝ စကြုး၊
27 And last of all, the woman died.
ၑေၐေ သာပီ နာရီ မမာရ၊
28 In the resurrection, then, whose wife will she be of the seven? For all of them were married to her.”
မၖတာနာမ် ဥတ္ထာနသမယေ တေၐာံ သပ္တာနာံ မဓျေ သာ နာရီ ကသျ ဘာရျျာ ဘဝိၐျတိ? ယသ္မာတ် သရွွဧဝ တာံ ဝျဝဟန်၊
29 Jesus answered, “You are mistaken because you do not know the Scriptures or the power of God.
တတော ယီၑုး ပြတျဝါဒီတ်, ယူယံ ဓရ္မ္မပုသ္တကမ် ဤၑွရီယာံ ၑက္တိဉ္စ န ဝိဇ္ဉာယ ဘြာန္တိမန္တး၊
30 In the resurrection, people will neither marry nor be given in marriage. Instead, they will be like the angels in heaven.
ဥတ္ထာနပြာပ္တာ လောကာ န ဝိဝဟန္တိ, န စ ဝါစာ ဒီယန္တေ, ကိန္တွီၑွရသျ သွရ္ဂသ္ထဒူတာနာံ သဒၖၑာ ဘဝန္တိ၊
31 But concerning the resurrection of the dead, have you not read what God said to you:
အပရံ မၖတာနာမုတ္ထာနမဓိ ယုၐ္မာန် ပြတီယမီၑွရောက္တိး,
32 ‘I am the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob’? He is not the God of the dead, but of the living.”
"အဟမိဗြာဟီမ ဤၑွရ ဣသှာက ဤၑွရော ယာကူဗ ဤၑွရ" ဣတိ ကိံ ယုၐ္မာဘိ ရ္နာပါဌိ? ကိန္တွီၑွရော ဇီဝတာမ် ဤၑွရ: , သ မၖတာနာမီၑွရော နဟိ၊
33 When the crowds heard this, they were astonished at His teaching.
ဣတိ ၑြုတွာ သရွွေ လောကာသ္တသျောပဒေၑာဒ် ဝိသ္မယံ ဂတား၊
34 And when the Pharisees heard that Jesus had silenced the Sadducees, they themselves gathered together.
အနန္တရံ သိဒူကိနာမ် နိရုတ္တရတွဝါရ္တာံ နိၑမျ ဖိရူၑိန ဧကတြ မိလိတဝန္တး,
35 One of them, an expert in the law, tested Him with a question:
တေၐာမေကော ဝျဝသ္ထာပကော ယီၑုံ ပရီက္ၐိတုံ ပပစ္ဆ,
36 “Teacher, which commandment is the greatest in the Law?”
ဟေ ဂုရော ဝျဝသ္ထာၑာသ္တြမဓျေ ကာဇ္ဉာ ၑြေၐ္ဌာ?
37 Jesus declared, “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’
တတော ယီၑုရုဝါစ, တွံ သရွွာန္တးကရဏဲး သရွွပြာဏဲး သရွွစိတ္တဲၑ္စ သာကံ ပြဘော် ပရမေၑွရေ ပြီယသွ,
38 This is the first and greatest commandment.
ဧၐာ ပြထမမဟာဇ္ဉာ၊ တသျား သဒၖၑီ ဒွိတီယာဇ္ဉဲၐာ,
39 And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’
တဝ သမီပဝါသိနိ သွာတ္မနီဝ ပြေမ ကုရု၊
40 All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.”
အနယော ရ္ဒွယောရာဇ္ဉယေား ကၖတ္သ္နဝျဝသ္ထာယာ ဘဝိၐျဒွက္တၖဂြန္ထသျ စ ဘာရသ္တိၐ္ဌတိ၊
41 While the Pharisees were assembled, Jesus questioned them:
အနန္တရံ ဖိရူၑိနာမ် ဧကတြ သ္ထိတိကာလေ ယီၑုသ္တာန် ပပြစ္ဆ,
42 “What do you think about the Christ? Whose son is He?” “David’s,” they answered.
ခြီၐ္ဋမဓိ ယုၐ္မာကံ ကီဒၖဂ္ဗောဓော ဇာယတေ? သ ကသျ သန္တာနး? တတသ္တေ ပြတျဝဒန်, ဒါယူဒး သန္တာနး၊
43 Jesus said to them, “How then does David in the Spirit call Him ‘Lord’? For he says:
တဒါ သ ဥက္တဝါန်, တရှိ ဒါယူဒ် ကထမ် အာတ္မာဓိၐ္ဌာနေန တံ ပြဘုံ ဝဒတိ?
44 ‘The Lord said to my Lord, “Sit at My right hand until I put Your enemies under Your feet.”’
ယထာ မမ ပြဘုမိဒံ ဝါကျမဝဒတ် ပရမေၑွရး၊ တဝါရီန် ပါဒပီဌံ တေ ယာဝန္နဟိ ကရောမျဟံ၊ တာဝတ် ကာလံ မဒီယေ တွံ ဒက္ၐပါရ္ၑွ ဥပါဝိၑ၊ အတော ယဒိ ဒါယူဒ် တံ ပြဘုံ ဝဒတိ, ရ္တိဟ သ ကထံ တသျ သန္တာနော ဘဝတိ?
45 So if David calls Him ‘Lord,’ how can He be David’s son?”
တဒါနီံ တေၐာံ ကောပိ တဒွါကျသျ ကိမပျုတ္တရံ ဒါတုံ နာၑက္နောတ်;
46 No one was able to answer a word, and from that day on no one dared to question Him any further.
တဒ္ဒိနမာရဘျ တံ ကိမပိ ဝါကျံ ပြၐ္ဋုံ ကသျာပိ သာဟသော နာဘဝတ်၊
