Mark 2
1 A few days later Jesus went back to Capernaum. And when the people heard that He was home,
தத³நந்தரம்’ யீஸை² கதிபயதி³நாநி விலம்ப்³ய புந: கப²ர்நாஹூம்நக³ரம்’ ப்ரவிஷ்டே ஸ க்³ரு’ஹ ஆஸ்த இதி கிம்’வத³ந்த்யா தத்க்ஷணம்’ தத்ஸமீபம்’ ப³ஹவோ லோகா ஆக³த்ய ஸமுபதஸ்து²: ,
2 they gathered in such large numbers that there was no more room, not even outside the door, as Jesus spoke the word to them.
தஸ்மாத்³ க்³ரு’ஹமத்⁴யே ஸர்வ்வேஷாம்’ க்ரு’தே ஸ்தா²நம்’ நாப⁴வத்³ த்³வாரஸ்ய சதுர்தி³க்ஷ்வபி நாப⁴வத், தத்காலே ஸ தாந் ப்ரதி கதா²ம்’ ப்ரசாரயாஞ்சக்ரே|
3 Then a paralytic was brought to Him, carried by four men.
தத: பரம்’ லோகாஸ்²சதுர்பி⁴ ர்மாநவைரேகம்’ பக்ஷாகா⁴திநம்’ வாஹயித்வா தத்ஸமீபம் ஆநிந்யு: |
4 Since they were unable to get to Jesus through the crowd, they uncovered the roof above Him, made an opening, and lowered the paralytic on his mat.
கிந்து ஜநாநாம்’ ப³ஹுத்வாத் தம்’ யீஸோ²: ஸம்முக²மாநேதும்’ ந ஸ²க்நுவந்தோ யஸ்மிந் ஸ்தா²நே ஸ ஆஸ்தே தது³பரிக்³ரு’ஹப்ரு’ஷ்ட²ம்’ க²நித்வா சி²த்³ரம்’ க்ரு’த்வா தேந மார்கே³ண ஸஸ²ய்யம்’ பக்ஷாகா⁴திநம் அவரோஹயாமாஸு: |
5 When Jesus saw their faith, He said to the paralytic, “Son, your sins are forgiven.”
ததோ யீஸு²ஸ்தேஷாம்’ விஸ்²வாஸம்’ த்³ரு’ஷ்ட்வா தம்’ பக்ஷாகா⁴திநம்’ ப³பா⁴ஷே ஹே வத்ஸ தவ பாபாநாம்’ மார்ஜநம்’ ப⁴வது|
6 But some of the scribes were sitting there and thinking in their hearts,
ததா³ கியந்தோ(அ)த்⁴யாபகாஸ்தத்ரோபவிஸ²ந்தோ மநோபி⁴ ர்விதர்கயாஞ்சக்ரு: , ஏஷ மநுஷ்ய ஏதாத்³ரு’ஸீ²மீஸ்²வரநிந்தா³ம்’ கதா²ம்’ குத: கத²யதி?
7 “Why does this man speak like this? He is blaspheming! Who can forgive sins but God alone?”
ஈஸ்²வரம்’ விநா பாபாநி மார்ஷ்டும்’ கஸ்ய ஸாமர்த்²யம் ஆஸ்தே?
8 At once Jesus knew in His spirit that they were thinking this way within themselves. “Why are you thinking these things in your hearts?” He asked.
இத்த²ம்’ தே விதர்கயந்தி யீஸு²ஸ்தத்க்ஷணம்’ மநஸா தத்³ பு³த்³வ்வா தாநவத³த்³ யூயமந்த: கரணை: குத ஏதாநி விதர்கயத²?
9 “Which is easier: to say to a paralytic, ‘Your sins are forgiven,’ or to say, ‘Get up, pick up your mat, and walk’?
தத³நந்தரம்’ யீஸு²ஸ்தத்ஸ்தா²நாத் புந: ஸமுத்³ரதடம்’ யயௌ; லோகநிவஹே தத்ஸமீபமாக³தே ஸ தாந் ஸமுபதி³தே³ஸ²|
10 But so that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins...” He said to the paralytic,
கிந்து ப்ரு’தி²வ்யாம்’ பாபாநி மார்ஷ்டும்’ மநுஷ்யபுத்ரஸ்ய ஸாமர்த்²யமஸ்தி, ஏதத்³ யுஷ்மாந் ஜ்ஞாபயிதும்’ (ஸ தஸ்மை பக்ஷாகா⁴திநே கத²யாமாஸ)
11 “I tell you, get up, pick up your mat, and go home.”
உத்திஷ்ட² தவ ஸ²ய்யாம்’ க்³ரு’ஹீத்வா ஸ்வக்³ரு’ஹம்’ யாஹி, அஹம்’ த்வாமித³ம் ஆஜ்ஞாபயாமி|
12 And immediately the man got up, picked up his mat, and walked out in front of them all. As a result, they were all astounded and glorified God, saying, “We have never seen anything like this!”
தத: ஸ தத்க்ஷணம் உத்தா²ய ஸ²ய்யாம்’ க்³ரு’ஹீத்வா ஸர்வ்வேஷாம்’ ஸாக்ஷாத் ஜகா³ம; ஸர்வ்வே விஸ்மிதா ஏதாத்³ரு’ஸ²ம்’ கர்ம்ம வயம் கதா³பி நாபஸ்²யாம, இமாம்’ கதா²ம்’ கத²யித்வேஸ்²வரம்’ த⁴ந்யமப்³ருவந்|
13 Once again Jesus went out beside the sea. All the people came to Him, and He taught them there.
தத³நந்தரம்’ யீஸு²ஸ்தத்ஸ்தா²நாத் புந: ஸமுத்³ரதடம்’ யயௌ; லோகநிவஹே தத்ஸமீபமாக³தே ஸ தாந் ஸமுபதி³தே³ஸ²|
14 As He was walking along, He saw Levi son of Alphaeus sitting at the tax booth. “Follow Me,” He told him, and Levi got up and followed Him.
அத² க³ச்ச²ந் கரஸஞ்சயக்³ரு’ஹ உபவிஷ்டம் ஆல்பீ²யபுத்ரம்’ லேவிம்’ த்³ரு’ஷ்ட்வா தமாஹூய கதி²தவாந் மத்பஸ்²சாத் த்வாமாமச்ச² தத: ஸ உத்தா²ய தத்பஸ்²சாத்³ யயௌ|
15 While Jesus was dining at Levi’s house, many tax collectors and sinners were eating with Him and His disciples—for there were many who followed Him.
அநந்தரம்’ யீஸௌ² தஸ்ய க்³ரு’ஹே போ⁴க்தும் உபவிஷ்டே ப³ஹவ: கரமஞ்சாயிந: பாபிநஸ்²ச தேந தச்சி²ஷ்யைஸ்²ச ஸஹோபவிவிஸு²: , யதோ ப³ஹவஸ்தத்பஸ்²சாதா³ஜக்³மு: |
16 When the scribes who were Pharisees saw Jesus eating with these people, they asked His disciples, “Why does He eat with tax collectors and sinners?”
ததா³ ஸ கரமஞ்சாயிபி⁴: பாபிபி⁴ஸ்²ச ஸஹ கா²த³தி, தத்³ த்³ரு’ஷ்ட்வாத்⁴யாபகா: பி²ரூஸி²நஸ்²ச தஸ்ய ஸி²ஷ்யாநூசு: கரமஞ்சாயிபி⁴: பாபிபி⁴ஸ்²ச ஸஹாயம்’ குதோ பு⁴ம்’க்தே பிவதி ச?
17 On hearing this, Jesus told them, “It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners.”
தத்³வாக்யம்’ ஸ்²ருத்வா யீஸு²: ப்ரத்யுவாச, அரோகி³லோகாநாம்’ சிகித்ஸகேந ப்ரயோஜநம்’ நாஸ்தி, கிந்து ரோகி³ணாமேவ; அஹம்’ தா⁴ர்ம்மிகாநாஹ்வாதும்’ நாக³த: கிந்து மநோ வ்யாவர்த்தயிதும்’ பாபிந ஏவ|
18 Now John’s disciples and the Pharisees were often fasting. So people came to Jesus and asked, “Why don’t Your disciples fast like John’s disciples and those of the Pharisees?”
தத: பரம்’ யோஹந: பி²ரூஸி²நாஞ்சோபவாஸாசாரிஸி²ஷ்யா யீஸோ²: ஸமீபம் ஆக³த்ய கத²யாமாஸு: , யோஹந: பி²ரூஸி²நாஞ்ச ஸி²ஷ்யா உபவஸந்தி கிந்து ப⁴வத: ஸி²ஷ்யா நோபவஸந்தி கிம்’ காரணமஸ்ய?
19 Jesus replied, “How can the guests of the bridegroom fast while He is with them? As long as He is with them, they cannot fast.
ததா³ யீஸு²ஸ்தாந் ப³பா⁴ஷே யாவத் காலம்’ ஸகி²பி⁴: ஸஹ கந்யாயா வரஸ்திஷ்ட²தி தாவத்காலம்’ தே கிமுபவஸ்தும்’ ஸ²க்நுவந்தி? யாவத்காலம்’ வரஸ்தை: ஸஹ திஷ்ட²தி தாவத்காலம்’ த உபவஸ்தும்’ ந ஸ²க்நுவந்தி|
20 But the time will come when the bridegroom will be taken from them; then they will fast.
யஸ்மிந் காலே தேப்⁴ய: ஸகாஸா²த்³ வரோ நேஷ்யதே ஸ கால ஆக³ச்ச²தி, தஸ்மிந் காலே தே ஜநா உபவத்ஸ்யந்தி|
21 No one sews a patch of unshrunk cloth on an old garment. If he does, the new piece will pull away from the old, and a worse tear will result.
கோபி ஜந: புராதநவஸ்த்ரே நூதநவஸ்த்ரம்’ ந ஸீவ்யதி, யதோ நூதநவஸ்த்ரேண ஸஹ ஸேவநே க்ரு’தே ஜீர்ணம்’ வஸ்த்ரம்’ சி²த்³யதே தஸ்மாத் புந ர்மஹத் சி²த்³ரம்’ ஜாயதே|
22 And no one pours new wine into old wineskins. If he does, the wine will burst the skins, and both the wine and the wineskins will be ruined. Instead, new wine is poured into new wineskins.”
கோபி ஜந: புராதநகுதூஷு நூதநம்’ த்³ராக்ஷாரஸம்’ ந ஸ்தா²பயதி, யதோ நூதநத்³ராக்ஷாரஸஸ்ய தேஜஸா தா: குத்வோ விதீ³ர்ய்யந்தே ததோ த்³ராக்ஷாரஸஸ்²ச பததி குத்வஸ்²ச நஸ்²யந்தி, அதஏவ நூதநத்³ராக்ஷாரஸோ நூதநகுதூஷு ஸ்தா²பநீய: |
23 One Sabbath Jesus was passing through the grainfields, and His disciples began to pick the heads of grain as they walked along.
தத³நந்தரம்’ யீஸு² ர்யதா³ விஸ்²ராமவாரே ஸ²ஸ்யக்ஷேத்ரேண க³ச்ச²தி ததா³ தஸ்ய ஸி²ஷ்யா க³ச்ச²ந்த: ஸ²ஸ்யமஞ்ஜரீஸ்²சே²த்தும்’ ப்ரவ்ரு’த்தா: |
24 So the Pharisees said to Him, “Look, why are they doing what is unlawful on the Sabbath?”
அத: பி²ரூஸி²நோ யீஸ²வே கத²யாமாஸு: பஸ்²யது விஸ்²ராமவாஸரே யத் கர்ம்ம ந கர்த்தவ்யம்’ தத்³ இமே குத: குர்வ்வந்தி?
25 Jesus replied, “Have you never read what David did when he and his companions were hungry and in need?
ததா³ ஸ தேப்⁴யோ(அ)கத²யத் தா³யூத்³ தத்ஸம்’ங்கி³நஸ்²ச ப⁴க்ஷ்யாபா⁴வாத் க்ஷுதி⁴தா: ஸந்தோ யத் கர்ம்ம க்ரு’தவந்தஸ்தத் கிம்’ யுஷ்மாபி⁴ ர்ந படி²தம்?
26 During the high priesthood of Abiathar, he entered the house of God and ate the consecrated bread, which was lawful only for the priests. And he gave some to his companions as well.”
அபி³யாத²ர்நாமகே மஹாயாஜகதாம்’ குர்வ்வதி ஸ கத²மீஸ்²வரஸ்யாவாஸம்’ ப்ரவிஸ்²ய யே த³ர்ஸ²நீயபூபா யாஜகாந் விநாந்யஸ்ய கஸ்யாபி ந ப⁴க்ஷ்யாஸ்தாநேவ பு³பு⁴ஜே ஸங்கி³லோகேப்⁴யோ(அ)பி த³தௌ³|
27 Then Jesus declared, “The Sabbath was made for man, not man for the Sabbath.
ஸோ(அ)பரமபி ஜகா³த³, விஸ்²ராமவாரோ மநுஷ்யார்த²மேவ நிரூபிதோ(அ)ஸ்தி கிந்து மநுஷ்யோ விஸ்²ராமவாரார்த²ம்’ நைவ|
28 Therefore, the Son of Man is Lord even of the Sabbath.”
மநுஷ்யபுத்ரோ விஸ்²ராமவாரஸ்யாபி ப்ரபு⁴ராஸ்தே|
