Mark 15
1 Early in the morning, the chief priests, elders, scribes, and the whole Sanhedrin devised a plan. They bound Jesus, led Him away, and handed Him over to Pilate.
Und alsbald in der Frühe, nachdem die Hohenpriester mit den Aeltesten und den Schriftgelehrten und das ganze Synedrium Beschluß gefaßt hatten, banden sie Jesus, führten ihn ab und überlieferten ihn an Pilatus.
2 So Pilate questioned Him, “Are You the King of the Jews?” “You have said so,” Jesus replied.
Und Pilatus befragte ihn: bist du der König der Juden? er aber antwortete ihm: du sagst es.
3 And the chief priests began to accuse Him of many things.
Und die Hohenpriester brachten viele Klagen gegen ihn vor.
4 Then Pilate questioned Him again, “Have You no answer? Look how many charges they are bringing against You!”
Pilatus aber befragte ihn wiederum: antwortest du nichts? siehe, was sie alles gegen dich vorbringen.
5 But to Pilate’s amazement, Jesus made no further reply.
Jesus aber antwortete gar nichts mehr, so daß sich Pilatus verwunderte.
6 Now it was Pilate’s custom at the feast to release to the people a prisoner of their choosing.
Auf das Fest aber pflegte er ihnen einen Gefangenen frei zu geben, welchen sie sich ausbaten.
7 And a man named Barabbas was imprisoned with the rebels who had committed murder during the insurrection.
Es lag aber der mit Namen Barabbas in Fesseln mit den Aufrührern, die beim Aufruhr Mord verübt hatten.
8 So the crowd went up and began asking Pilate to keep his custom.
Und das Volk zog hinauf und fieng an zu fordern, wie er ihnen sonst that.
9 “Do you want me to release to you the King of the Jews?” Pilate asked.
Pilatus aber antwortete ihnen: wollet ihr, daß ich euch den König der Juden freigebe?
10 For he knew it was out of envy that the chief priests had handed Jesus over.
Denn er erkannte, daß ihn die Hohenpriester aus Neid überliefert hatten.
11 But the chief priests stirred up the crowd to have him release Barabbas to them instead.
Die Hohenpriester aber wiegelten die Menge auf, daß er ihnen lieber den Barabbas freigeben solle.
12 So Pilate asked them again, “What then do you want me to do with the One you call the King of the Jews?”
Pilatus aber antwortete ihnen wieder: was wollt ihr denn, daß ich mit dem thue, den ihr den König der Juden nennt?
13 And they shouted back, “Crucify Him!”
Sie aber schrien wieder: kreuzige ihn
14 “Why?” asked Pilate. “What evil has He done?” But they shouted all the louder, “Crucify Him!”
Pilatus aber sagte zu ihnen: was hat er denn Böses gethan? sie aber schrien nur lauter: kreuzige ihn.
15 And wishing to satisfy the crowd, Pilate released Barabbas to them. But he had Jesus flogged, and handed Him over to be crucified.
Pilatus aber wollte das Volk befriedigen, und ließ ihnen den Barabbas los, den Jesus aber ließ er geißeln, und lieferte ihn aus zur Kreuzigung.
16 Then the soldiers led Jesus away into the palace (that is, the Praetorium) and called the whole company together.
Die Soldaten aber führten ihn ab, hinein in den Hof, nämlich das Prätorium, und rufen die ganze Cohorte zusammen,
17 They dressed Him in a purple robe, twisted together a crown of thorns, and set it on His head.
und ziehen ihm einen Purpur an, flechten einen Dornenkranz und setzen ihm denselben auf;
18 And they began to salute Him: “Hail, King of the Jews!”
und sie fiengen an ihn zu begrüßen: sei gegrüßt, König der Juden,
19 They kept striking His head with a staff and spitting on Him. And they knelt down and bowed before Him.
und schlugen ihm mit einem Rohr auf den Kopf, und spien ihn an, und huldigten ihm mit Kniebeugen.
20 After they had mocked Him, they removed the purple robe and put His own clothes back on Him. Then they led Him out to crucify Him.
Und nachdem sie ihren Spott mit ihm getrieben, zogen sie ihm den Purpur aus und seine eigenen Kleider an. Und sie führen ihn hinaus, ihn zu kreuzigen,
21 Now Simon of Cyrene, the father of Alexander and Rufus, was passing by on his way in from the country, and the soldiers forced him to carry the cross of Jesus.
und nötigten einen Vorübergehenden, Simon von Kyrene, der vom Felde kam, den Vater des Alexander und Rufus, sein Kreuz zu tragen,
22 They brought Jesus to a place called Golgotha, which means The Place of the Skull.
und bringen ihn an den Platz Golgotha, was übersetzt heißt: Schädelstätte.
23 There they offered Him wine mixed with myrrh, but He did not take it.
Und sie gaben ihm Wein mit Myrrhen: er aber nahm es nicht an.
24 And they crucified Him. They also divided His garments by casting lots to decide what each of them would take.
Und sie kreuzigten ihn, und verteilen seine Kleider, indem sie das Los darüber warfen, was einer bekommen solle.
25 It was the third hour when they crucified Him.
Es war aber die dritte Stunde, da sie ihn kreuzigten.
26 And the charge inscribed against Him read: THE KING OF THE JEWS.
Und es war die Inschrift seiner Schuld angeschrieben: der König der Juden.
27 Along with Jesus, they crucified two robbers, one on His right and one on His left.
Und mit ihm kreuzigten sie zwei Räuber, einen ihm zur Rechten und einen zur Linken.
Und es ward die Schrift erfüllt: und er ward unter die Uebeltäter gerechnet.
29 And those who passed by heaped abuse on Him, shaking their heads and saying, “Aha! You who are going to destroy the temple and rebuild it in three days,
Und die Vorübergehenden lästerten ihn, indem sie die Köpfe schüttelten und sagten: Ha! der den Tempel abbricht und in drei Tagen aufbaut,
30 come down from the cross and save Yourself!”
hilf dir selbst und steige herunter vom Kreuze.
31 In the same way, the chief priests and scribes mocked Him among themselves, saying, “He saved others, but He cannot save Himself!
Ebenso auch die Hohenpriester spotteten unter einander nebst den Schriftgelehrten und sagten: anderen hat er geholfen, sich selbst kann er nicht helfen;
32 Let the Christ, the King of Israel, come down now from the cross, so that we may see and believe!” And even those who were crucified with Him berated Him.
der Christus, der König Israels! jetzt steige herunter vom Kreuze, das wir es sehen und glauben. Auch seine Mitgekreuzigten schmähten ihn.
33 From the sixth hour until the ninth hour darkness came over all the land.
Und als die sechste Stunde gekommen, brach eine Finsternis ein über das ganze Land bis zur neunten Stunde.
34 At the ninth hour, Jesus cried out in a loud voice, “Eloi, Eloi, lema sabachthani?” which means, “My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me?”
Und um die neunte Stunde rief Jesus laut: Eloi Eloi lama sabachthani, das heißt übersetzt: mein Gott, mein Gott, warum hast du mich verlassen?
35 When some of those standing nearby heard this, they said, “Behold, He is calling Elijah.”
Und etliche der Dabeistehenden, da sie es hörten, sagten: siehe, er ruft den Elias.
36 And someone ran and filled a sponge with sour wine. He put it on a reed and held it up for Jesus to drink, saying, “Leave Him alone. Let us see if Elijah comes to take Him down.”
Es lief aber einer und füllte einen Schwamm mit Essig, steckte ihn auf ein Rohr und gab ihm zu trinken mit den Worten: wartet, wir wollen sehen, ob Elias kommt, ihn herabzuholen.
37 But Jesus let out a loud cry and breathed His last.
Jesus aber that einen lauten Schrei und verschied.
38 And the veil of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom.
Und der Vorhang im Tempel zerriß in zwei Stücke von oben bis unten.
39 When the centurion standing there in front of Jesus saw how He had breathed His last, he said, “Truly this man was the Son of God!”
Da aber der Hauptmann sah, der dabei stand ihm gegenüber, daß er auf diese Weise verschied, sagte er: dieser Mensch war wahrhaftig Gottes Sohn.
40 And there were also women watching from a distance. Among them were Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of James the younger and of Joses, and Salome.
Es waren aber auch Frauen da, die von ferne zuschauten, darunter Maria von Magdala, und Maria die Tochter des Jakobus des kleinen, die Mutter des Joses, und Salome,
41 These women had followed Jesus and ministered to Him while He was in Galilee, and there were many other women who had come up to Jerusalem with Him.
die ihm, so lange er in Galiläa war, nachfolgten und ihm dienten, und noch andere viele, die mit ihm nach Jerusalem hinaufgegangen waren.
42 Now it was already evening. Since it was Preparation Day (that is, the day before the Sabbath),
Und als es schon Abend geworden, da es Rüsttag war, das heißt der Tag vor dem Sabbat,
43 Joseph of Arimathea, a prominent Council member who himself was waiting for the kingdom of God, boldly went to Pilate to ask for the body of Jesus.
kam Josef von Arimathäa, ein edler Rathsherr, der selbst auch auf das Reich Gottes wartete, und wagte es bei Pilatus einzutreten und um den Leichnam Jesus zu bitten.
44 Pilate was surprised to hear that Jesus was already dead, so he summoned the centurion to ask if this was so.
Pilatus aber wunderte sich, ob er denn schon tot sei, und rief den Hauptmann herbei, und befragte ihn, ob er schon länger gestorben sei;
45 When Pilate had confirmed it with the centurion, he granted the body to Joseph.
und wie er es von dem Hauptmann erfuhr, gewährte er dem Josef den Leichnam.
46 So Joseph bought a linen cloth, took down the body of Jesus, wrapped it in the cloth, and placed it in a tomb that had been cut out of the rock. Then he rolled a stone against the entrance to the tomb.
Und er kaufte Leinwand, nahm ihn herab, wickelte ihn in die Leinwand, und legte ihn in ein Grab, das aus einem Felsen gebrochen war, und wälzte einen Stein an die Thüre des Grabes.
47 Mary Magdalene and Mary the mother of Joseph saw where His body was placed.
Die Maria von Magdala aber und die Maria des Jakobus Tochter schauten zu, wo er beigesetzt wurde.
