Malachi 1

1 This is the burden of the word of the LORD to Israel through Malachi:

၁ထာဝရဘုရား သည် မာလခိ လက် တွင် ဣသရေလ အမျိုးသို့ ပေးလိုက်တော်မူသောဗျာဒိတ် နှုတ်ကပတ် တော်တည်းဟူသော၊

2 “I have loved you,” says the LORD. But you ask, “How have You loved us?” “Was not Esau Jacob’s brother?” declares the LORD. “Yet Jacob I have loved,

၂ထာဝရဘုရား မိန့် တော်မူသောစကားဟူမူကား၊ သင် တို့ကို ငါချစ် လေပြီ။ အကျွန်ုပ် တို့ကို အဘယ်သို့ ချစ် တော်မူသနည်းဟု သင်တို့မေး ကြလျှင် ၊ ဧသော သည် ယာကုပ် ၏အစ်ကို ဖြစ်သည်မ ဟုတ်လော။ သို့သော်လည်း ယာကုပ် ကို ငါချစ် ၏။

3 but Esau I have hated, and I have made his mountains a wasteland and left his inheritance to the desert jackals.”

၃ဧသော ကို ငါမုန်း ၍ သူ နေသောတောင် တို့ကို လွင်ပြင် ဖြစ် စေပြီ။ သူ့ အမွေခံ ရာမြေကို မြေခွေး တို့၌ အပ်လေပြီဟု ထာဝရဘုရား မိန့် တော်မူ၏။

4 Though Edom may say, “We have been devastated, but we will rebuild the ruins,” this is what the LORD of Hosts says: “They may build, but I will demolish. They will be called the Land of Wickedness, and a people with whom the LORD is indignant forever.

၄ဧဒုံ အမျိုးသားတို့က၊ ငါတို့သည် ပျက်စီး သော်လည်း ၊ ပျက်စီး သောအရပ်တို့ကို တဖန် တည်ဆောက် ဦးမည်ဟုဆို ရာတွင်၊ ကောင်းကင်ဗိုလ်ခြေ အရှင် ထာဝရဘုရား မိန့် တော်မူသည်ကား၊ သူ တို့သည် တည်ဆောက် သော်လည်း ငါ ဖြိုဖျက် မည်။ သူ တို့ကို ဒုစရိုက် ပြည်သား ၊ ထာဝရဘုရား အစဉ် အမျက် ထွက်တော်မူသောလူမျိုး ဟူ၍သမုတ် ကြလိမ့်မည်။

5 You will see this with your own eyes, and you yourselves will say, ‘The LORD is great—even beyond the borders of Israel.’”

၅ထိုအမှုကို သင်တို့သည် မြင် သောအခါ၊ ထာဝရဘုရား သည် ဣသရေလ ပြည် ၏ပြင်မှာ ဘုန်းတန်ခိုးကြီး တော်မူသည်ဟု ဆို ကြလိမ့်မည်။

6 “A son honors his father, and a servant his master. But if I am a father, where is My honor? And if I am a master, where is your fear of Me?” says the LORD of Hosts to you priests who despise My name. “But you ask, ‘How have we despised Your name?’

၆သား သည် အဘ ကို ရိုသေ တတ်၏။ ကျွန် သည် သခင် ကို ကြောက်ရွံ့တတ်၏။ ငါ သည် အဘ မှန်လျှင် ၊ ငါ့ ကို အဘယ်သူ ရိုသေ သနည်း။ သခင် မှန်လျှင် ၊ အဘယ်သူ ကြောက်ရွံ့ သနည်းဟု ကောင်းကင်ဗိုလ်ခြေ အရှင် ထာဝရဘုရား သည် နာမ တော်ကို မထီမဲ့မြင် ပြုသော ယဇ်ပုရောဟိတ် တို့အား မေး တော်မူ၏။ အကျွန်ုပ်တို့သည် နာမ တော်ကို အဘယ်သို့ မထီမဲ့မြင် ပြုပါသနည်းဟု သင်တို့ မေး ရာတွင် ၊

7 By presenting defiled food on My altar. But you ask, ‘How have we defiled You?’ By saying that the table of the LORD is contemptible.

၇ညစ်ညူး သောအစာ ကို ငါ့ ယဇ် ပလ္လင်သို့ ဆောင် ခဲ့ကြသည်တကား။ အကျွန်ုပ်တို့သည် ကိုယ်တော် ကို အဘယ်သို့ ရှုတ်ချ ပါသနည်းဟုမေး ရာတွင် ၊ ထာဝရဘုရား ၏စားပွဲ သည် ယုတ်မာ ၏ဟုဆိုသောကြောင့်ငါ့ကို ရှုတ်ချကြပြီ။

8 When you offer blind animals for sacrifice, is it not wrong? And when you present the lame and sick ones, is it not wrong? Try offering them to your governor! Would he be pleased with you or show you favor?” asks the LORD of Hosts.

၈မျက်စိ ကန်းသော အကောင်ကို ယဇ် ပူဇော်လျှင် အပြစ် ရှိသည် မဟုတ်လော။ ခြေ ဆွံ့သောအကောင်နှင့် နာ သော အကောင်ကို ယဇ် ပူဇော်လျှင် အပြစ် ရှိသည် မ ဟုတ်လော။ မြို့ဝန် မင်းအား ဆက် ပါလော့။ မင်း၏စိတ် နှင့် တွေ့လိမ့်မည်လော။ သင့် မျက်နှာ ကို ထောက်လိမ့်မည် လော ဟု ကောင်းကင်ဗိုလ်ခြေ အရှင် ထာဝရဘုရား မိန့် တော်မူ၏။

9 “But ask now for God’s favor. Will He be gracious? Since this has come from your hands, will He show you favor?” asks the LORD of Hosts.

၉ယခု မှာ ဘုရား သခင်သည် ငါ တို့ကို ကယ်မ သနားတော်မူမည်အကြောင်း ၊ ထာဝရဘုရားရှေ့ တော်၌ ဆုတောင်း ကြပါလော့။ သင် တို့လက်ခံသောကြောင့်ဤသို့ ပြုတတ်ကြ၏။ သင် တို့မျက်နှာ ကို ထောက်ရမည်လောဟု ကောင်းကင်ဗိုလ်ခြေ အရှင် ထာဝရဘုရား မိန့် တော်မူ၏။

10 “Oh, that one of you would shut the temple doors, so that you would no longer kindle useless fires on My altar! I take no pleasure in you,” says the LORD of Hosts, “and I will accept no offering from your hands.

၁၀သင် တို့တွင် အဘယ်သူ သည် ငါ့တံခါး တို့ကို ပိတ် လိမ့်မည်နည်း။ သင်တို့သည် ငါ့ ယဇ် ပလ္လင်ပေါ်မှာ မီး ကို အချည်းနှီး မ ညှိရကြ။ သင် တို့ကို ငါ အလို မ ရှိ၊ သင် တို့ပြု သောပူဇော် သက္ကာကို ငါ လက်မ ခံဟု ကောင်းကင်ဗိုလ်ခြေ အရှင် ထာဝရဘုရား မိန့် တော်မူ၏။

11 For My name will be great among the nations, from where the sun rises to where it sets. In every place, incense and pure offerings will be presented in My name, because My name will be great among the nations,” says the LORD of Hosts.

၁၁နေ ထွက် ရာအရပ်မှ သည် နေဝင် ရာအရပ်တိုင်အောင် တပါးအမျိုးသား တို့တွင် ငါ ၏နာမ တော်သည် ကြီးမြတ် ရလိမ့်မည်။ ခပ်သိမ်း သော အရပ် တို့၌ နံ့သာ ပေါင်း ကို ငါ ၏နာမ တော်အား မီးရှို့၍ ၊ သန့်ရှင်း သော ပူဇော် သက္ကာကို ဆက်ကပ် ရကြလိမ့်မည်။ ငါ ၏နာမ တော်သည် တပါးအမျိုးသား တို့တွင် ကြီးမြတ် ရလိမ့်မည်ဟု ကောင်းကင် ဗိုလ်ခြေ အရှင် ထာဝရဘုရား မိန့် တော်မူ၏။

12 “But you profane it when you say, ‘The table of the Lord is defiled, and as for its fruit, its food is contemptible.’

၁၂သင် တို့က၊ ထာဝရ ဘုရား၏ စားပွဲ တော်သည် ညစ်ညူး ၏။ တင်ထားသော ဘောဇဉ်ပူဇော်သက္ကာသည် ယုတ်မာ ၏ဟုဆို သောကြောင့် စားပွဲ တော်ကို ရှုတ်ချ ကြပြီ။

13 You also say: ‘Oh, what a nuisance!’ And you turn up your nose at it,” says the LORD of Hosts. “You bring offerings that are stolen, lame, or sick! Should I accept these from your hands?” asks the LORD.

၁၃တဖန်သင်တို့က၊ အမှုတော်ကို ဆောင်ရွက်၍ ပင်ပန်း စွတကားဟုဆို လျက် ၊ ကဲ့ရဲ့ သံကို ပြုတတ်ကြသည် ဟု ကောင်းကင်ဗိုလ်ခြေ အရှင် ထာဝရဘုရား မိန့် တော်မူ၏။ လု ယူသောအကောင်၊ ခြေ ဆွံ့သောအကောင်၊ နာ သောအကောင်ကို ဆောင် ခဲ့ကြပြီ။ ထိုသို့သော ပူဇော် သက္ကာကို ဆောင် ခဲ့ကြပြီတကား။ သင် တို့လက် မှ ငါခံရ မည် လောဟု ထာဝရဘုရား မေး တော်မူ၏။

14 “But cursed is the deceiver who has an acceptable male in his flock and vows to give it, but sacrifices a defective animal to the Lord. For I am a great King,” says the LORD of Hosts, “and My name is to be feared among the nations.

၁၄သစ္စာ ဂတိထားပြီးမှ မိမိ သိုး စု၌ အထီး ရှိ လျက်ပင် လှည့်စား ၍ ၊ ထာဝရ ဘုရားအား ချို့တဲ့ သော အကောင်ကို ယဇ် ပူဇော်သောသူသည် အမင်္ဂလာ ရှိစေသတည်း။ ငါ သည် ကြီးမြတ် သော ရှင်ဘုရင် ဖြစ်၏။ ငါ ၏ နာမ တော်သည် လူ အမျိုးမျိုးတို့တွင် ကြောက်မက် ဖွယ်ဖြစ် ရမည်ဟု ကောင်းကင်ဗိုလ်ခြေ အရှင် ထာဝရဘုရား မိန့် တော်မူ၏။
