Luke 19
1 Then Jesus entered Jericho and was passing through.
၁သခင်ယေရှုသည်ယေရိခေါမြို့ကိုဖြတ်၍ ကြွတော်မူ၏။-
2 And there was a man named Zacchaeus, a chief tax collector, who was very wealthy.
၂ထိုအရပ်တွင်ဇက္ခဲနာမည်ရှိသောအကောက်ခွန် မှူးတစ်ယောက်ရှိ၏။ သူသည်ချမ်းသာကြွယ်ဝသူ ဖြစ်၏။-
3 He was trying to see who Jesus was, but could not see over the crowd because he was small in stature.
၃သခင်ယေရှုကားအဘယ်သူဖြစ်သည်ကိုတွေ့ မြင်လိုသဖြင့်ကြိုးစား၍ကြည့်၏။ သို့ရာတွင် အရပ်ပုသူဖြစ်သည့်အလျောက် လူပရိသတ် များကွယ်လျက်နေသဖြင့်ကိုယ်တော်ကိုမမြင် နိုင်။-
4 So he ran on ahead and climbed a sycamore tree to see Him, since Jesus was about to pass that way.
၄ထို့ကြောင့်ကိုယ်တော်ကိုတွေ့မြင်နိုင်ရန်ကြွတော် မူမည့်လမ်းအတိုင်းရှေ့သို့ပြေး၍ သဖန်းပိုး စာပင်ပေါ်ကိုတက်၏။-
5 When Jesus came to that place, He looked up and said, “Zacchaeus, hurry down, for I must stay at your house today.”
၅ကိုယ်တော်သည်ထိုနေရာသို့ရောက်သောအခါ မော်၍ကြည့်တော်မူပြီးလျှင် ``ဇက္ခဲ၊ အမြန်ဆင်း ခဲ့လော့။ ယနေ့သင်၏အိမ်တွင်ငါတည်းခိုမည်'' ဟု မိန့်တော်မူ၏။
6 So Zacchaeus hurried down and welcomed Him joyfully.
၆ဇက္ခဲသည်သစ်ပင်ပေါ်မှအမြန်ဆင်း၍ ကိုယ်တော်အားဝမ်းမြောက်စွာကြိုဆို၏။-
7 And all who saw this began to grumble, saying, “He has gone to be the guest of a sinful man!”
၇ဤအခြင်းအရာကိုမြင်သောအခါလူတို့ က ``ထိုသူသည်အပြစ်ကူးသူတစ်ယောက်၏ အိမ်တွင်တည်းခိုရန်သွားလေပြီတကား'' ဟု ညည်းညူကြ၏။
8 But Zacchaeus stood up and said to the Lord, “Look, Lord, half of my possessions I give to the poor, and if I have cheated anyone, I will repay it fourfold.”
၈ဇက္ခဲသည်ရပ်လျက်သခင်ဘုရားအား ``အရှင်၊ အကျွန်ုပ်၏ဥစ္စာပစ္စည်းတစ်ဝက်ကိုဆင်းရဲသူ တို့အားပေးကမ်းပါမည်။ အကယ်၍အကျွန်ုပ် သည်လူတစ်စုံတစ်ယောက်ထံမှ မတရား တောင်းယူထားမိသောငွေရှိပါလျှင် ထိုငွေ ၏လေးဆကိုပြန်၍ပေးပါမည်'' ဟုလျှောက်၏။
9 Jesus said to him, “Today salvation has come to this house, because this man too is a son of Abraham.
၉သခင်ယေရှုက ``ဤသူသည်လည်းအာဗြဟံ ၏သားမြေးဖြစ်သဖြင့်ကယ်တင်ခြင်းကျေးဇူး သည်ယနေ့ပင်ဤအိမ်ပေါ်သို့သက်ရောက်လေပြီ။-
10 For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.”
၁၀လူသားသည်ပျောက်ဆုံးသူများကိုရှာရန် နှင့်ကယ်တင်ရန်ကြွလာသတည်း'' ဟုဇက္ခဲ အားမိန့်တော်မူ၏။
11 While the people were listening to this, Jesus proceeded to tell them a parable, because He was near Jerusalem and they thought the kingdom of God would appear imminently.
၁၁ကိုယ်တော်သည်ယေရုရှလင်မြို့အနီးသို့ ရောက်တော်မူသဖြင့် ဘုရားသခင်၏နိုင်ငံ တော်ပေါ်ထွန်းတော့မည်ဟုထင်မှတ်ကြ သောကြောင့် အထက်တရားစကားများ ကိုကြားနာနေသူတို့အား ပုံဥပမာဆောင် ၍ ``မင်းညီမင်းသားတစ်ပါးသည်ရှင်ဘုရင် အရာကိုခံယူ၍ပြန်လာရန်တိုင်းတစ်ပါး သို့သွား၏။-
12 So He said, “A man of noble birth went to a distant country to lay claim to his kingship and then return.
၁၂
13 Beforehand, he called ten of his servants and gave them ten minas. ‘Conduct business with this until I return,’ he said.
၁၃ခရီးမပြုမီမိမိ၏အစေခံဆယ်ယောက်ကို ခေါ်ယူကာ `ငါပြန်လာသည်အထိကုန်သွယ် လျက်နေကြလော့' ဟုဆို၍ရွှေဒင်္ဂါးတစ်ပြား စီပေး၏။-
14 But his subjects hated him and sent a delegation after him to say, ‘We do not want this man to rule over us.’
၁၄သို့ရာတွင်သူ၏ပြည်သူပြည်သားတို့သည် သူ့ကိုမုန်းကြသဖြင့် `ထိုသူ၏အအုပ်အချုပ် ကိုငါတို့မခံလို' ဟုစေတမန်များကိုသူ့ နောက်သို့လွှတ်၍လျှောက်ထားစေ၏။
15 When he returned from procuring his kingship, he summoned the servants to whom he had given the money, to find out what each one had earned.
၁၅ထိုသူကားဘုရင်အရာကိုခံယူ၍ပြန်လာ၏။ သူသည်ချက်ချင်းပင်မိမိရင်းနှီးငွေပေးခဲ့သည့် အစေခံများကို ကုန်သွယ်၍အဘယ်မျှလောက် အမြတ်ရသည်ကိုသိလိုသဖြင့်သူတို့အား ဆင့်ခေါ်၏။-
16 The first servant came forward and said, ‘Master, your mina has produced ten more minas.’
၁၆ပထမအစေခံသည်လာ၍`အရှင်၊ အရှင်ပေး ခဲ့သည့်ရွှေဒင်္ဂါးတစ်ပြားဖြင့်အမြတ်ဆယ်ပြား ရပါသည်' ဟုလျှောက်၏။-
17 His master replied, ‘Well done, good servant! Because you have been faithful in a very small matter, you shall have authority over ten cities.’
၁၇မင်းကြီးက `ကောင်းလေစွ၊ သင်သည်အစေခံ ကောင်းတစ်ယောက်ဖြစ်ပေ၏။ သေးငယ်သောအမှု တွင်သစ္စာရှိသူဖြစ်သဖြင့် သင့်အားငါသည်မြို့ ကြီးဆယ်မြို့ကိုအပိုင်စားပေး၏' ဟုမိန့်တော် မူ၏။-
18 The second servant came and said, ‘Master, your mina has made five minas.’
၁၈ဒုတိယအစေခံသည်လည်းလာ၍ `အရှင်၊ အရှင် ပေးခဲ့သည့်ရွှေဒင်္ဂါးတစ်ပြားဖြင့်အမြတ်ငါးပြား ရပါသည်' ဟုလျှောက်၏။-
19 And to this one he said, ‘You shall have authority over five cities.’
၁၉မင်းကြီးက `သင့်အားလည်းမြို့ကြီးငါးမြို့ ကိုအပိုင်စားပေး၏' ဟုဆို၏။-
20 Then another servant came and said, ‘Master, here is your mina, which I have laid away in a piece of cloth.
၂၀အခြားသောအစေခံသည်လာ၍ `အရှင်၊ အရှင် ပေးခဲ့သည့်ရွှေဒင်္ဂါးဤမှာရှိပါ၏။ ထိုငွေကို အကျွန်ုပ်သည်အဝတ်ဖြင့်ထုပ်၍သိမ်းဆည်း ထားပါ၏။-
21 For I was afraid of you, because you are a harsh man. You withdraw what you did not deposit and reap what you did not sow.’
၂၁အရှင်သည်ခက်ထန်သူဖြစ်သဖြင့်အရှင့် အားကျွန်ုပ်ကြောက်ရွံ့ပါ၏။ အရှင်သည်မိမိ မပိုင်သည့်အရာကိုသိမ်းယူတတ်ပါ၏။ မိမိ မစိုက်မပျိုးသည့်အသီးအနှံကိုရိတ်သိမ်း တတ်ပါ၏' ဟုလျှောက်၏။-
22 His master replied, ‘You wicked servant, I will judge you by your own words. So you knew that I am a harsh man, withdrawing what I did not deposit and reaping what I did not sow?
၂၂မင်းကြီးက `အချင်းအစေခံဆိုး၊ သင့်နှုတ်ထွက် စကားအတိုင်းသင့်ကိုငါစီရင်မည်။ ငါသည် ခက်ထန်သူဖြစ်၍မိမိမပိုင်သည့်အရာကို သိမ်းယူတတ်သည်ကိုလည်းကောင်း၊ မိမိမစိုက် မပျိုးသည့်အသီးအနှံကိုရိတ်သိမ်းတတ် သည်ကိုလည်းကောင်းသိပါလျက်နှင့်။-
23 Why then did you not deposit my money in the bank, and upon my return I could have collected it with interest?’
၂၃ငါပေးသည့်ငွေကိုငါပြန်လာချိန်အတိုးနှင့် တကွပြန်လည်ပေးဆပ်နိုင်ရန်အဘယ်ကြောင့် ဘဏ်တွင်အပ်နှံ၍မထားသနည်း' ဟုမေး၏။-
24 Then he told those standing by, ‘Take the mina from him and give it to the one who has ten minas.’
၂၄အနီးတွင်ရပ်နေသူများအားမင်းကြီးက `ထို သူထံမှရွှေဒင်္ဂါးကိုယူ၍ရွှေဒင်္ဂါးဆယ်ပြား ရှိသူအားပေးကြလော့' ဟုမိန့်တော်မူလျှင်။-
25 ‘Master,’ they said, ‘he already has ten!’
၂၅လူတို့က `အရှင်ထိုသူထံတွင်ရွှေဒင်္ဂါးဆယ် ပြားရှိပြီးဖြစ်ပါ၏' ဟုလျှောက်ကြ၏။-
26 He replied, ‘I tell you that everyone who has will be given more; but the one who does not have, even what he has will be taken away from him.
၂၆မင်းကြီးက `သင်တို့အားငါဆိုသည်ကား ကြွယ်ဝချမ်းသာသောသူအားထပ်၍ပေးဦး မည်။ ဆင်းရဲသောသူထံမှရှိသမျှကိုပင် သိမ်းယူမည်။-
27 And these enemies of mine who were unwilling for me to rule over them, bring them here and slay them in front of me.’”
၂၇ထိုမှတစ်ပါးငါ၏အအုပ်အချုပ်ကိုမခံ လိုသောငါ၏ရန်သူများအားခေါ်၍ ငါ၏ရှေ့ မှောက်တွင်ကွပ်မျက်လော့' ဟုစီရင်တော်မူသည်'' ဟုမိန့်တော်မူ၏။
28 After Jesus had said this, He went on ahead, going up to Jerusalem.
၂၈ထိုသို့မိန့်တော်မူပြီးနောက်ကိုယ်တော်သည် ယေရုရှလင်မြို့သို့တပည့်တော်တို့၏ရှေ့ ကကြွတော်မူ၏။-
29 As He approached Bethphage and Bethany at the Mount of Olives, He sent out two of His disciples,
၂၉သံလွင်နာမည်တွင်သောတောင်အနီးရှိဗက်ဖာ ဂေနှင့်ဗေသနိရွာများအနီးသို့ရောက်တော်မူ သောအခါ တပည့်တော်နှစ်ယောက်တို့အား``သင် တို့ရှေ့တွင်ရှိသောရွာသို့သွားကြလော့။-
30 saying, “Go into the village ahead of you, and as you enter it, you will find a colt tied there, on which no one has ever sat. Untie it and bring it here.
၃၀ရွာကိုဝင်လျှင်ဝင်ချင်းမည်သူမျှမစီးဘူးသေး သောမြည်းကလေးတစ်ကောင်ကိုတွေ့လိမ့်မည်။ ထိုမြည်းကိုကြိုးဖြင့်လှန်ထား၏။ ကြိုးဖြေ၍ မြည်းကိုယူခဲ့လော့။-
31 If anyone asks, ‘Why are you untying it?’ tell him, ‘The Lord needs it.’”
၃၁အကယ်၍လူတစ်စုံတစ်ယောက်ကသင်တို့ အား `အဘယ်ကြောင့်မြည်းကိုဖြေသနည်း' ဟု မေးလျှင် `ထိုမြည်းကိုအကျွန်ုပ်တို့သခင် အသုံးပြုလိုပါသည်' ဟုဖြေကြလော့'' ဟုမှာကြားစေလွှတ်တော်မူ၏။
32 So those who were sent went out and found it just as Jesus had told them.
၃၂စေလွှတ်ခြင်းခံရသူတို့သည်လည်းသွားကြ သောအခါ ကိုယ်တော်မိန့်ကြားတော်မူသည့် အတိုင်းအရာခပ်သိမ်းကိုတွေ့မြင်ကြ၏။ -
33 As they were untying the colt, its owners asked, “Why are you untying the colt?”
၃၃သူတို့သည်မြည်းကြိုးကိုဖြေနေစဉ်မြည်းရှင် က ``သင်တို့အဘယ်ကြောင့်မြည်းကြိုးကိုဖြေ သနည်း'' ဟုမေး၏။
34 “The Lord needs it,” they answered.
၃၄သူတို့က ``ထိုမြည်းကိုအကျွန်ုပ်တို့သခင် အသုံးပြုလိုပါသည်'' ဟုဖြေကြား၏။-
35 Then they led the colt to Jesus, threw their cloaks over it, and put Jesus on it.
၃၅ထိုနောက်မြည်းကိုသခင်ယေရှုထံတော်သို့ ဆောင်ခဲ့ကြ၏။ မြည်း၏ကျောပေါ်မှာမိမိတို့ ၏အဝတ်များကိုလွှမ်းတင်ကာ သခင်ယေရှု အားထိုမြည်းကိုစီးစေကြ၏။-
36 As He rode along, the people spread their cloaks on the road.
၃၆ကိုယ်တော်မြည်းစီး၍ကြွတော်မူစဉ်လူတို့ သည် မိမိတို့၏အဝတ်များကိုလမ်းပေါ်မှာ ဖြန့်ခင်းကြ၏။
37 And as He approached the descent from the Mount of Olives, the whole multitude of disciples began to praise God joyfully in a loud voice for all the miracles they had seen:
၃၇ယေရုရှလင်မြို့သို့ကိုယ်တော်ချဉ်းကပ်လာ စဉ်သံလွင်တောင်အဆင်းလမ်းတွင်တပည့် နောက်လိုက်ပရိသတ်ကြီးသည် မိမိတို့တွေ့ မြင်ခဲ့ရသည့်အံ့သြဖွယ်အမှုအရာအပေါင်း အတွက်ဝမ်းမြောက်ရွှင်လန်းလျက် ဘုရားသခင် ၏ဂုဏ်တော်ကိုအသံကျယ်စွာချီးကူးကြ ၏။-
38 “Blessed is the King who comes in the name of the Lord!” “Peace in heaven and glory in the highest!”
၃၈ထိုသူတို့က ``ထာဝရဘုရား၏နာမတော်နှင့် ကြွလာသောဘုရင်သည်မင်္ဂလာရှိတော်မူစေ သတည်း။ ကောင်းကင်ဘုံတွင်ငြိမ်သက်ခြင်းရှိ စေသတည်း။ ဘုရားသခင်သည်ဘုန်းကြီးတော်မူ စေသတည်း'' ဟုကြွေးကြော်ကြ၏။
39 But some of the Pharisees in the crowd said to Him, “Teacher, rebuke Your disciples!”
၃၉ထိုအခါလူပရိသတ်အထဲမှဖာရိရှဲအချို့ တို့က ``ဆရာတော်၊ ကိုယ်တော်၏တပည့်တော် များအားတိတ်ဆိတ်စေရန်ဆုံးမတော်မူပါ'' ဟု ကိုယ်တော်အားလျှောက်ထားကြ၏။
40 “I tell you,” He answered, “if they remain silent, the very stones will cry out.”
၄၀ကိုယ်တော်က ``သင်တို့အားငါဆိုသည်ကား ဤသူတို့တိတ်ဆိတ်စွာနေကြလျှင်ကျောက် ခဲများကကြွေးကြော်ကြလိမ့်မည်'' ဟုမိန့် တော်မူ၏။
41 As Jesus approached Jerusalem and saw the city, He wept over it
၄၁ကိုယ်တော်သည်ယေရုရှလင်မြို့အနီးသို့ရောက် ၍ ထိုမြို့ကိုမြင်တော်မူလျှင်ငိုကြွေးတော်မူ၏။-
42 and said, “If only you had known on this day what would bring you peace! But now it is hidden from your eyes.
၄၂ကိုယ်တော်က ``အချင်းမြို့၊ သင်သည်ငြိမ်းချမ်း သာယာမှုကိုရစေသည့်လမ်းကိုယနေ့သိ မြင်လျှင်မင်္ဂလာရှိ၏။ သို့ရာတွင်ထိုလမ်းကို သင်သည်မသိမမြင်နိုင်။-
43 For the days will come upon you when your enemies will barricade you and surround you and hem you in on every side.
၄၃ရန်သူများသည်သင့်အားရင်တားဖြင့်ကာဆီး လျက် အဘက်ဘက်မှဝိုင်းရံပိတ်ဆို့နေသည့် အချိန်ကာလကျရောက်လာလိမ့်မည်။-
44 They will level you to the ground—you and the children within your walls. They will not leave one stone on another, because you did not recognize the time of your visitation from God.”
၄၄သူတို့သည်သင့်ကိုလည်းကောင်း၊ သင်၏မြို့ရိုး အတွင်းရှိလူအပေါင်းတို့ကိုလည်းကောင်း ဖျက် ဆီးသုတ်သင်ကြလိမ့်မည်။ ကျောက်တစ်ချပ် ပေါ်တစ်ချပ်မျှတင်၍နေလိမ့်မည်မဟုတ်။ အဘယ်ကြောင့်ဆိုသော်သင်သည်မိမိအား ကယ်တင်ရန် ဘုရားသခင်ကြွလာသည့် အချိန်ကာလကိုမသိမမြင်သောကြောင့် ဖြစ်၏'' ဟုမိန့်တော်မူ၏။
45 Then Jesus entered the temple courts and began to drive out those who were selling there.
၄၅ထိုနောက်သခင်ယေရှုသည်ဗိမာန်တော်သို့ ဝင်တော်မူ၏။ ကိုယ်တော်က `ငါ၏အိမ်တော်ကို ဆုတောင်းပတ္ထနာပြုရာအိမ်တော်ဟုခေါ်ဝေါ် လတ္တံ့' ဟုကျမ်းစာလာသည်မဟုတ်လော။ သို့ ရာတွင်သင်တို့သည်အိမ်တော်ကိုဋ္ဌားပြခို အောင်းရာဖြစ်စေကြပြီ'' ဟုဆို၍ဗိမာန် တော်အတွင်းမှာရောင်းဝယ်နေသူတို့ကို နှင်ထုတ်တော်မူ၏။
46 He declared to them, “It is written: ‘My house will be a house of prayer.’ But you have made it ‘a den of robbers.’”

47 Jesus was teaching at the temple every day, but the chief priests, scribes, and leaders of the people were intent on killing Him.
၄၇ကိုယ်တော်သည်နေ့စဉ်နေ့တိုင်းဗိမာန်တော်၌ ဟောပြောသွန်သင်တော်မူ၏။ ယဇ်ပုရောဟိတ် ကြီးများကျမ်းတတ်ဆရာများနှင့်ယုဒ အမျိုးသားခေါင်းဆောင်များသည် ကိုယ်တော် ကိုသတ်ရန်အခွင့်ရှာလျက်နေကြ၏။-
48 Yet they could not find a way to do so, because all the people hung on His words.
၄၈သို့ရာတွင်လူအပေါင်းတို့ကကိုယ်တော်၏ တရားစကားများကိုအထူးအာရုံစိုက်၍ နာယူနေကြသောကြောင့်ကိုယ်တော်အား အဘယ်နည်းဖြင့်သတ်ရမည်ကိုမသိကြ။
