Leviticus 1
1 Then the LORD called to Moses and spoke to him from the Tent of Meeting, saying,
Szólította Mózest és szólt hozzá az Örökkévaló a gyülekezés sátorából, mondván:
2 “Speak to the Israelites and tell them: When any of you brings an offering to the LORD, you may bring as your offering an animal from the herd or the flock.
Szólj Izrael fiaihoz és mondd nekik: Ha valamelyik ember közületek áldozni akar áldozatot az Örökkévalónak, a baromból, a marhából és a juhokból áldozzátok a ti áldozatotokat.
3 If one’s offering is a burnt offering from the herd, he is to present an unblemished male. He must bring it to the entrance to the Tent of Meeting for its acceptance before the LORD.
Ha égőáldozat az ő áldozata, a marhából, hímet, épet áldozzon; a gyülekezés sátorának bejáratához vigye azt, kedves fogadtatásul az örökkévaló színe előtt.
4 He is to lay his hand on the head of the burnt offering, so it can be accepted on his behalf to make atonement for him.
És tegye rá kezét az égőáldozat fejére és kedvesen fogadtatik tőle, hogy engesztelést szerezzen érte.
5 And he shall slaughter the young bull before the LORD, and Aaron’s sons the priests are to present the blood and sprinkle it on all sides of the altar at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting.
És vágja le a fiatal marhát az Örökkévaló színe előtt; és vigyék be Áron fiai, a papok a vért és hintsék a vért köröskörül az oltárra, mely a gyülekezés sátorának bejáratánál van.
6 Next, he is to skin the burnt offering and cut it into pieces.
És húzza le az égőáldozatnak bőrét, és darabolja föl azt az ő darabjaira.
7 The sons of Aaron the priest shall put a fire on the altar and arrange wood on the fire.
És tegyenek Áronnak, a papnak fiai tüzet az oltárra és rendezzenek el fát a tűzre.
8 Then Aaron’s sons the priests are to arrange the pieces, including the head and the fat, atop the burning wood on the altar.
Rendezzék el Áron fiai, a papok, a darabokat, a fejet és a hájat a fán, mely a tűzön van, mely az oltáron van.
9 The entrails and legs must be washed with water, and the priest shall burn all of it on the altar as a burnt offering, an offering made by fire, a pleasing aroma to the LORD.
És a beleit meg a lábszárait mossa meg vízben, és füstölgesse el a pap az egészet az oltáron; égőáldozat az, kellemes illatú tűzáldozat az Örökkévalónak.
10 If, however, one’s offering is a burnt offering from the flock—from the sheep or goats—he is to present an unblemished male.
Ha pedig juhokból való az ő áldozata a juhokból vagy a kecskékből égőáldozatul, hímet, épet áldozzon.
11 He shall slaughter it on the north side of the altar before the LORD, and Aaron’s sons the priests are to sprinkle its blood against the altar on all sides.
És vágja le azt az oltár oldalán észak felé, az Örökkévaló színe előtt és hintsék Áron fiai; a papok a vérét az oltárra, köröskörül.
12 He is to cut the animal into pieces, and the priest shall arrange them, including the head and fat, atop the burning wood that is on the altar.
És darabolja föl azt az ő darabjaira, a fejével és hájával, és rendezze el a pap azokat a fán, mely a tűzön van, mely az oltáron van.
13 The entrails and legs must be washed with water, and the priest shall bring all of it and burn it on the altar; it is a burnt offering, an offering made by fire, a pleasing aroma to the LORD.
A beleket pedig, meg a lábszárakat mossa meg vízben; és áldozza föl a pap mindezt és füstölögtesse el az oltáron, égőáldozat az, kellemes illatú tűzáldozat az Örökkévalónak.
14 If, instead, one’s offering to the LORD is a burnt offering of birds, he is to present a turtledove or a young pigeon.
Ha pedig madárból való az ő áldozata, égőáldozat gyanánt az Örökkévalónak; akkor áldozza gerlicékből vagy galambfiakból az ő áldozatát.
15 Then the priest shall bring it to the altar, twist off its head, and burn it on the altar; its blood should be drained out on the side of the altar.
És vigye azt a pap az oltárhoz, csípje le a fejét és füstölgesse el az oltáron, miután kinyomták a vérét az oltár falára.
16 And he is to remove the crop with its contents and throw it to the east side of the altar, in the place for ashes.
Távolítsa el a begyét tollastól és vesse azt az oltár mellé kelet felől, a hamu helyére.
17 He shall tear it open by its wings, without dividing the bird completely. And the priest is to burn it on the altar atop the burning wood. It is a burnt offering, an offering made by fire, a pleasing aroma to the LORD.
És szakítsa szét szárnyainál fogva, de ne válassza szét, és füstölögtesse el azt a pap az oltáron, a fán, mely a tűzön van; égőáldozat az, kellemes illatú tűzáldozat az Örökkévalónak.
