Leviticus 8
1 Then the LORD said to Moses,
Bwana akamwambia Mose,
2 “Take Aaron and his sons, their garments, the anointing oil, the bull of the sin offering, the two rams, and the basket of unleavened bread,
“Waletee Aroni na wanawe mavazi yao, mafuta ya upako, fahali kwa ajili ya sadaka ya dhambi, kondoo dume wawili na kikapu chenye mikate iliyotengenezwa bila chachu.
3 and assemble the whole congregation at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting.”
Kisha kusanya mkutano wote kwenye ingilio la Hema la Kukutania.”
4 So Moses did as the LORD had commanded him, and the assembly gathered at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting.
Mose akafanya kama Bwana alivyomwagiza, na mkutano ukakusanyika kwenye ingilio la Hema la Kukutania.
5 And Moses said to them, “This is what the LORD has commanded to be done.”
Mose akaliambia kusanyiko, “Hili ndilo Bwana ameagiza lifanyike.”
6 Then Moses presented Aaron and his sons and washed them with water.
Kisha Mose akamleta Aroni na wanawe mbele, akawaosha kwa maji.
7 He put the tunic on Aaron, tied the sash around him, clothed him with the robe, and put the ephod on him. He tied the woven band of the ephod around him and fastened it to him.
Akamvika Aroni koti, akamfunga mshipi, akamvika joho na kumvalisha kisibau. Pia akafunga kisibau juu yake na kukifunga kiunoni mwake kwa mshipi wake uliosokotwa kwa ustadi.
8 Then he put the breastpiece on him and placed the Urim and Thummim in the breastpiece.
Akaweka kifuko cha kifuani juu yake, na kuweka Urimu na Thumimu kwenye hicho kifuko.
9 Moses also put the turban on Aaron’s head and set the gold plate, the holy diadem, on the front of the turban, as the LORD had commanded him.
Kisha akamvika Aroni kilemba kichwani pake, akaweka lile bamba la dhahabu, yaani ile taji takatifu, upande wa mbele wa kilemba, kama Bwana alivyomwagiza Mose.
10 Next, Moses took the anointing oil and anointed the tabernacle and everything in it; and so he consecrated them.
Ndipo Mose akachukua mafuta ya upako na kuipaka maskani na kila kitu kilichokuwamo ndani yake, kisha akaviweka wakfu.
11 He sprinkled some of the oil on the altar seven times, anointing the altar and all its utensils, and the basin with its stand, to consecrate them.
Akanyunyiza baadhi ya mafuta juu ya madhabahu mara saba, akaipaka madhabahu mafuta na vyombo vyake vyote pamoja na sinia na kinara chake, ili kuviweka wakfu.
12 He also poured some of the anointing oil on Aaron’s head and anointed him to consecrate him.
Akamimina sehemu ya hayo mafuta ya upako kichwani mwa Aroni, akamtia mafuta ili kumweka wakfu.
13 Then Moses presented Aaron’s sons, put tunics on them, wrapped sashes around them, and tied headbands on them, just as the LORD had commanded him.
Kisha akawaleta wana wa Aroni mbele, akawavika makoti, akawafunga mishipi na kuwavika vilemba, kama Bwana alivyomwagiza Mose.
14 Moses then brought the bull near for the sin offering, and Aaron and his sons laid their hands on its head.
Kisha akamtoa fahali kwa ajili ya sadaka ya dhambi, nao Aroni na wanawe wakaweka mikono yao juu ya kichwa chake.
15 Moses slaughtered the bull, took some of the blood, and applied it with his finger to all four horns of the altar, purifying the altar. He poured out the rest of the blood at the base of the altar and consecrated it so that atonement could be made on it.
Mose akamchinja yule fahali na akachukua sehemu ya hiyo damu, kisha kwa kidole chake akaitia kwenye pembe zote za madhabahu ili kutakasa madhabahu. Akaimwaga damu iliyobaki chini ya madhabahu. Kwa hiyo akayaweka wakfu ili kufanya upatanisho kwa ajili ya madhabahu.
16 Moses also took all the fat that was on the entrails, the lobe of the liver, and both kidneys and their fat, and burned it all on the altar.
Pia Mose akachukua mafuta yote yanayozunguka sehemu za ndani, mafuta yanayofunika ini, figo zote mbili pamoja na mafuta yake, akayateketeza juu ya madhabahu.
17 But the bull with its hide, flesh, and dung he burned outside the camp, as the LORD had commanded him.
Lakini fahali, ikiwa pamoja na ngozi yake na nyama yake na sehemu zake za ndani na matumbo, akaiteketeza nje ya kambi, kama Bwana alivyomwagiza Mose.
18 Then Moses presented the ram for the burnt offering, and Aaron and his sons laid their hands on its head.
Kisha Mose akamleta kondoo dume kwa ajili ya sadaka ya kuteketezwa, naye Aroni na wanawe wakaweka mikono yao juu ya kichwa chake.
19 Moses slaughtered the ram and sprinkled the blood on all sides of the altar.
Ndipo Mose akamchinja yule kondoo dume na kunyunyiza damu yake pande zote za madhabahu.
20 He cut the ram into pieces and burned the head, the pieces, and the fat.
Mose akamkata yule kondoo dume vipande vipande na kukiteketeza kichwa, vile vipande na yale mafuta.
21 He washed the entrails and legs with water and burned the entire ram on the altar as a burnt offering, a pleasing aroma, an offering made by fire to the LORD, just as the LORD had commanded Moses.
Kisha akamsafisha sehemu za ndani na miguu kwa maji, na kumteketeza yule kondoo dume mzima juu ya madhabahu kuwa sadaka ya kuteketezwa, harufu nzuri ya kupendeza, sadaka iliyotolewa kwa Bwana kwa moto, kama Bwana alivyomwagiza Mose.
22 After that, Moses presented the other ram, the ram of ordination, and Aaron and his sons laid their hands on its head.
Kisha akaleta kondoo dume mwingine, ndiye kondoo dume kwa ajili ya kuwaweka wakfu, naye Aroni na wanawe wakaweka mikono yao juu ya kichwa chake.
23 Moses slaughtered the ram and took some of its blood and put it on Aaron’s right earlobe, on the thumb of his right hand, and on the big toe of his right foot.
Mose akamchinja yule kondoo dume, akaichukua sehemu ya damu yake na kuipaka juu ya ncha ya sikio la kuume la Aroni, na juu ya kidole gumba cha mkono wake wa kuume na juu ya kidole kikubwa cha mguu wake wa kuume.
24 Moses also presented Aaron’s sons and put some of the blood on their right earlobes, on the thumbs of their right hands, and on the big toes of their right feet. Then he sprinkled the blood on all sides of the altar.
Pia Mose akawaleta hao wana wa Aroni mbele, akaipaka sehemu ya hiyo damu kwenye ncha za masikio yao ya kuume, juu ya vidole gumba vya mikono yao ya kuume, na juu ya vidole vikubwa vya miguu yao ya kuume. Kisha akanyunyiza damu pande zote za madhabahu.
25 And Moses took the fat—the fat tail, all the fat that was on the entrails, the lobe of the liver, and both kidneys with their fat—as well as the right thigh.
Akachukua mafuta ya mnyama, mafuta ya mkia, mafuta yote yanayozunguka sehemu za ndani, mafuta yanayofunika ini, figo zote mbili pamoja na mafuta yake, na paja la kulia.
26 And from the basket of unleavened bread that was before the LORD, he took one cake of unleavened bread, one cake of bread made with oil, and one wafer, and he placed them on the fat portions and on the right thigh.
Kisha kutoka kwenye kikapu cha mikate iliyotengenezwa bila chachu, kilichokuwa mbele za Bwana, akachukua andazi moja, na jingine lililotengenezwa kwa mafuta, na mkate mwembamba; akaviweka hivi vyote juu ya mafungu ya mafuta ya mnyama, na juu ya lile paja la kulia.
27 He put all these in the hands of Aaron and his sons and waved them before the LORD as a wave offering.
Akaviweka hivi vyote mikononi mwa Aroni na wanawe, na kuviinua mbele za Bwana kuwa sadaka ya kuinuliwa.
28 Then Moses took these from their hands and burned them on the altar with the burnt offering. This was an ordination offering, a pleasing aroma, an offering made by fire to the LORD.
Kisha Mose akavichukua kutoka mikononi mwao na kuviteketeza juu ya madhabahu ya sadaka ya kuteketezwa kuwa sadaka ya kuwekwa wakfu, harufu nzuri ya kupendeza, sadaka iliyotolewa kwa Bwana kwa moto.
29 He also took the breast—Moses’ portion of the ram of ordination—and waved it before the LORD as a wave offering, as the LORD had commanded him.
Kisha akachukua kidari, kilicho fungu la Mose la kondoo dume kwa ajili ya kuwekwa wakfu, na kukiinua mbele za Bwana kama sadaka ya kuinuliwa, kama Bwana alivyomwagiza Mose.
30 Next, Moses took some of the anointing oil and some of the blood that was on the altar and sprinkled them on Aaron and his garments, and on his sons and their garments. So he consecrated Aaron and his garments, as well as Aaron’s sons and their garments.
Kisha Mose akachukua sehemu ya mafuta ya upako, na sehemu ya damu kutoka kwenye madhabahu, na kuvinyunyiza juu ya Aroni na mavazi yake, na juu ya wanawe na mavazi yao. Kwa hiyo akamweka Aroni na mavazi yake wakfu, pamoja na wanawe na mavazi yao.
31 And Moses said to Aaron and his sons, “Boil the meat at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting and eat it there with the bread that is in the basket of ordination offerings, as I commanded, saying, ‘Aaron and his sons are to eat it.’
Kisha Mose akamwambia Aroni na wanawe, “Pika hiyo nyama kwenye ingilio la Hema la Kukutania, na uile hapo pamoja na mkate kutoka kwenye kikapu cha sadaka ya kuweka wakfu, kama nilivyoagiza, nikisema, ‘Aroni na wanawe wataila.’
32 Then you must burn up the remainder of the meat and bread.
Kisha teketeza nyama na mikate iliyobaki.
33 You must not go outside the entrance to the Tent of Meeting for seven days, until the days of your ordination are complete; for it will take seven days to ordain you.
Msitoke kwenye ingilio la Hema la Kukutania kwa muda wa siku saba, mpaka siku zenu za kuwekwa wakfu ziwe zimetimia, kwa kuwa muda wenu wa kuwekwa wakfu utakuwa siku saba.
34 What has been done today has been commanded by the LORD in order to make atonement on your behalf.
Lile lililofanyika leo liliagizwa na Bwana ili kufanya upatanisho kwa ajili yenu.
35 You must remain at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting day and night for seven days and keep the LORD’s charge so that you will not die, for this is what I have been commanded.”
Lazima mkae kwenye ingilio la Hema la Kukutania usiku na mchana kwa siku saba, na kufanya lile Bwana analolitaka, ili kwamba msife; kwa kuwa hilo ndilo nililoamriwa.”
36 So Aaron and his sons did everything the LORD had commanded through Moses.
Kwa hiyo Aroni na wanawe wakafanya kila kitu Bwana alichoamuru kupitia kwa Mose.
