Leviticus 5
1 “If someone sins by failing to testify when he hears a public charge about something he has witnessed, whether he has seen it or learned of it, he shall bear the iniquity.
E quando alguma pessoa peccar, ouvindo uma voz de blasphemia, de que fôr testemunha, seja que o viu, ou que o soube, se o não denunciar, então levará a sua iniquidade.
2 Or if a person touches anything unclean—whether the carcass of any unclean wild animal or livestock or crawling creature—even if he is unaware of it, he is unclean and guilty.
Ou, quando alguma pessoa tocar em alguma coisa immunda, seja corpo morto de besta fera immunda, seja corpo morto d'animal immundo, seja corpo morto de reptil immundo, ainda que lhe fosse occulto, contudo será elle immundo e culpado.
3 Or if he touches human uncleanness—anything by which one becomes unclean—even if he is unaware of it, when he realizes it, he is guilty.
Ou, quando tocar a immundicia d'um homem, seja qualquer que fôr a sua immundicia, com que se faça immundo, e lhe fôr occulto, e o souber depois, será culpado.
4 Or if someone swears thoughtlessly with his lips to do anything good or evil—in whatever matter a man may rashly pronounce an oath—even if he is unaware of it, when he realizes it, he is guilty in the matter.
Ou, quando alguma pessoa jurar, pronunciando temerariamente com os seus beiços, para fazer mal, ou para fazer bem, em tudo o que o homem pronuncia temerariamente com juramento, e lhe fôr occulto, e o souber depois, culpado será n'uma d'estas coisas.
5 If someone incurs guilt in one of these ways, he must confess the sin he has committed,
Será pois que, culpado sendo n'uma d'estas coisas, confessará aquillo em que peccou,
6 and he must bring his guilt offering to the LORD for the sin he has committed: a female lamb or goat from the flock as a sin offering. And the priest will make atonement for him concerning his sin.
E a sua expiação trará ao Senhor, pelo seu peccado que peccou: uma femea de gado miudo, uma cordeira, ou uma cabrinha pelo peccado: assim o sacerdote por ella fará expiação do seu peccado.
7 If, however, he cannot afford a lamb, he may bring to the LORD as restitution for his sin two turtledoves or two young pigeons—one as a sin offering and the other as a burnt offering.
Mas, se a sua mão não alcançar o que bastar para gado miudo, então trará, em sua expiação da culpa que commetteu, ao Senhor duas rolas ou dois pombinhos; um para expiação do peccado, e o outro para holocausto;
8 He is to bring them to the priest, who shall first present the one for the sin offering. He is to twist its head at the front of its neck without severing it;
E os trará ao sacerdote, o qual primeiro offerecerá aquelle que é para expiação do peccado; e com a sua unha lhe torcerá a cabeça junto ao pescoço, mas não o partirá:
9 then he is to sprinkle some of the blood of the sin offering on the side of the altar, while the rest of the blood is drained out at the base of the altar. It is a sin offering.
E do sangue da expiação do peccado espargirá sobre a parede do altar, porém o que sobejar d'aquelle sangue espremer-se-ha á base do altar: expiação do peccado é.
10 And the priest must prepare the second bird as a burnt offering according to the ordinance. In this way the priest will make atonement for him for the sin he has committed, and he will be forgiven.
E do outro fará holocausto conforme ao costume: assim o sacerdote por ella fará expiação do seu peccado que peccou, e lhe será perdoado.
11 But if he cannot afford two turtledoves or two young pigeons, he may bring a tenth of an ephah of fine flour as a sin offering. He must not put olive oil or frankincense on it, because it is a sin offering.
Porém, se a sua mão não alcançar duas rolas, ou dois pombinhos, então aquelle que peccou trará pela sua offerta a decima parte d'um epha de flôr de farinha, para expiação do peccado: não deitará sobre ella azeite, nem lhe porá em cima o incenso, porquanto é expiação do peccado:
12 He is to bring it to the priest, who shall take a handful from it as a memorial portion and burn it on the altar atop the offerings made by fire to the LORD; it is a sin offering.
E a trará ao sacerdote, e o sacerdote d'ella tomará o seu punho cheio pelo seu memorial, e a queimará sobre o altar, em cima das offertas queimadas do Senhor: expiação de peccado é.
13 In this way the priest will make atonement for him for any of these sins he has committed, and he will be forgiven. The remainder will belong to the priest, like the grain offering.”
Assim o sacerdote por ella fará expiação do seu peccado, que peccou em alguma d'estas coisas, e lhe será perdoado; e o resto será do sacerdote, como a offerta de manjares.
14 Then the LORD said to Moses,
E fallou o Senhor a Moysés, dizendo:
15 “If someone acts unfaithfully and sins unintentionally against any of the LORD’s holy things, he must bring his guilt offering to the LORD: an unblemished ram from the flock, of proper value in silver shekels according to the sanctuary shekel; it is a guilt offering.
Quando alguma pessoa commetter um trespasso, e peccar por ignorancia nas coisas sagradas do Senhor, então trará ao Senhor pela expiação um carneiro sem mancha do rebanho, conforme á tua estimação em siclos de prata, segundo o siclo do sanctuario, para expiação da culpa
16 Regarding any holy thing he has harmed, he must make restitution by adding a fifth of its value to it and giving it to the priest, who will make atonement on his behalf with the ram as a guilt offering, and he will be forgiven.
Assim restituirá o que peccar nas coisas sagradas, e ainda de mais accrescentará o seu quinto, e o dará ao sacerdote: assim o sacerdote com o carneiro da expiação fará expiação por ella, e ser-lhe-ha perdoado o peccado
17 If someone sins and violates any of the LORD’s commandments even though he was unaware, he is guilty and shall bear his punishment.
E, se alguma pessoa peccar, e obrar contra algum de todos os mandamentos do Senhor o que se não deve fazer, ainda que o não soubesse, comtudo será ella culpada, e levará a sua iniquidade:
18 He is to bring to the priest an unblemished ram of proper value from the flock as a guilt offering. Then the priest will make atonement on his behalf for the wrong he has committed in ignorance, and he will be forgiven.
E trará ao sacerdote um carneiro sem mancha do rebanho, conforme á tua estimação, para expiação da culpa, e o sacerdote por ella tará expiação do seu erro em que errou sem saber; e lhe será perdoado.
19 It is a guilt offering; he was certainly guilty before the LORD.”
Expiação de culpa é: certamente se fez culpado ao Senhor.
