Leviticus 3

1 “If one’s offering is a peace offering and he offers an animal from the herd, whether male or female, he must present it without blemish before the LORD.

૧જો કોઈનું અર્પણ શાંત્યર્પણનો યજ્ઞ હોય અને જો તે જાનવર ચઢાવે, પછી તે નર હોય કે નારી હોય, તો યહોવાહ પ્રત્યે તે ખોડખાંપણ વગરનું ચઢાવે.

2 He is to lay his hand on the head of the offering and slaughter it at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting. Then Aaron’s sons the priests shall sprinkle the blood on all sides of the altar.

૨તે પોતાના અર્પણના માથા પર પોતાનો હાથ મૂકે અને મુલાકાતમંડપના દ્વાર પાસે તેને કાપે. પછી યાજકો, એટલે હારુનના પુત્રો તેનું રક્ત વેદીની ચારે બાજુએ છાંટે.

3 From the peace offering he is to bring an offering made by fire to the LORD: the fat that covers the entrails, all the fat that is on them,

૩તે શાંત્યર્પણના યજ્ઞમાંથી યહોવાહ પ્રત્યે હોમયજ્ઞ ચઢાવે. આંતરડાની આસપાસની ચરબી તથા આંતરડાં પરની બધી ચરબી,

4 both kidneys with the fat on them near the loins, and the lobe of the liver, which he is to remove with the kidneys.

૪બન્ને મૂત્રપિંડ તથા તે પરની ચરબી જાંઘો પાસે હોય છે તે તથા મૂત્રપિંડ સાથે કલેજા પરનું ચરબીનું પડ તે કાઢી લે.

5 Then Aaron’s sons are to burn it on the altar atop the burnt offering that is on the burning wood, as an offering made by fire, a pleasing aroma to the LORD.

૫હારુનના પુત્રો વેદી પરના અગ્નિ પર લાકડા ઉપરના દહનીયાર્પણ પર તેનું દહન કરે. તે યહોવાહને માટે સુવાસિત હોમયજ્ઞ છે.

6 If, however, one’s peace offering to the LORD is from the flock, he must present a male or female without blemish.

૬જો કોઈ માણસ શાંત્યર્પણ તરીકે ઘેટાંબકરાંને યહોવાહ સમક્ષ લાવે, પછી તે નર હોય કે નારી હોય, તો તે શાંત્યર્પણ ખોડખાંપણ વગરનું ચઢાવે.

7 If he is presenting a lamb for his offering, he must present it before the LORD.

૭જો તે હલવાનનું અર્પણ ચઢાવે, તો તે તેને યહોવાહની આગળ ચઢાવે.

8 He is to lay his hand on the head of his offering and slaughter it in front of the Tent of Meeting. Then Aaron’s sons shall sprinkle its blood on all sides of the altar.

૮તે પોતાના અર્પણના માથા પર પોતાનો હાથ મૂકે અને મુલાકાતમંડપની આગળ તેને કાપે. પછી હારુનના પુત્રોએ તેનું રક્ત વેદીની ચારે બાજુએ છાંટવું.

9 And from the peace offering he shall bring an offering made by fire to the LORD consisting of its fat: the entire fat tail cut off close to the backbone, the fat that covers the entrails, all the fat that is on them,

૯શાંત્યર્પણના યજ્ઞમાંથી તે યહોવાહને સારુ હોમયજ્ઞ ચઢાવે. તેની ચરબી, તેની પુષ્ટ પૂછડી આખી અને આખી કરોડના હાડકાની લગોલગથી તે કાપી લે અને આંતરડાની આસપાસની ચરબી તથા આંતરડા પરની સઘળી ચરબી,

10 both kidneys with the fat on them near the loins, and the lobe of the liver, which he is to remove with the kidneys.

૧૦બન્ને મૂત્રપિંડો તથા તેની પરની કમર પાસેની ચરબી અને મૂત્રપિંડ સાથે કલેજા પરનું અંતરપડ તે કાઢી લે.

11 Then the priest is to burn them on the altar as food, an offering made by fire to the LORD.

૧૧અને યાજક વેદી પર તેનું દહન કરે; તે યહોવાહને માટે હોમયજ્ઞરૂપ ખાદ્ય પદાર્થ છે.

12 If one’s offering is a goat, he is to present it before the LORD.

૧૨જો માણસનું અર્પણ બકરાનું હોય, તો તે યહોવાહની આગળ ચઢાવે.

13 He must lay his hand on its head and slaughter it in front of the Tent of Meeting. Then Aaron’s sons shall sprinkle its blood on all sides of the altar.

૧૩તે બકરાના માથા પર પોતાનો હાથ મૂકે અને મુલાકાતમંડપની આગળ તેને કાપે. પછી હારુનના પુત્રોએ તેનું રક્ત વેદીની ચારે બાજુએ છાંટવું.

14 And from his offering he shall present an offering made by fire to the LORD: the fat that covers the entrails, all the fat that is on them,

૧૪તે માણસ અગ્નિથી પોતાનું અર્પણ યહોવાહને માટે ચઢાવે. તે આંતરડાની આસપાસની ચરબી તથા આંતરડા પરની સઘળી ચરબી કાઢી લે.

15 both kidneys with the fat on them near the loins, and the lobe of the liver, which he is to remove with the kidneys.

૧૫બન્ને મૂત્રપિંડો અને તેની પરની કમર પાસેની ચરબી, મૂત્રપિંડો પાસે કલેજા પરનું અંતરપડ તે કાઢી લે.

16 Then the priest is to burn the food on the altar as an offering made by fire, a pleasing aroma. All the fat is the LORD’s.

૧૬આ તમામનું યાજકે શાંત્યર્પણ તરીકે દહન કરવું, તે સુવાસને સારુ હોમયજ્ઞરૂપ ખાદ્ય પદાર્થ છે. સઘળી ચરબી યહોવાહની છે.

17 This is a permanent statute for the generations to come, wherever you live: You must not eat any fat or any blood.”

૧૭તમારી વંશપરંપરા તમારાં સઘળાં રહેઠાણોમાં એ હંમેશને માટે તમારો વિધિ થાય, એટલે ચરબી કે રક્ત તમારે ખાવાં જ નહિ.’”
