Leviticus 24
1 Then the LORD said to Moses,
௧பின்னும் யெகோவா மோசேயை நோக்கி:
2 “Command the Israelites to bring you pure oil of pressed olives for the light, to keep the lamps burning continually.
௨“குத்துவிளக்கு எப்பொழுதும் எரிந்துகொண்டிருக்கும்படி அதற்காக இடித்துப்பிழிந்த தெளிவான ஒலிவ எண்ணெயை இஸ்ரவேல் மக்கள் உன்னிடத்தில் கொண்டுவரும்படி அவர்களுக்குக் கட்டளையிடு.
3 Outside the veil of the Testimony in the Tent of Meeting, Aaron is to tend the lamps continually before the LORD from evening until morning. This is to be a permanent statute for the generations to come.
௩ஆசரிப்புக்கூடாரத்தில் மகா பரிசுத்த ஸ்தலத்தின் திரைக்கு வெளிப்புறமாக ஆரோன் அதை எப்பொழுதும் மாலைதொடங்கி விடியற்காலம்வரை யெகோவாவுடைய சந்நிதியில் எரியும்படி ஏற்றுவானாக; இது உங்கள் தலைமுறைதோறும் கைக்கொள்ளவேண்டிய நிரந்தரமான கட்டளை.
4 He shall tend the lamps on the pure gold lampstand before the LORD continually.
௪அவன் எப்பொழுதும் யெகோவாவுடைய சந்நிதியில் பரிசுத்தமான குத்துவிளக்கின்மேல் இருக்கிற விளக்குகளை எரியவைக்கக்கடவன்.
5 You are also to take fine flour and bake twelve loaves, using two-tenths of an ephah for each loaf,
௫“அன்றியும் நீ மெல்லிய மாவை எடுத்து, அதைப் பன்னிரண்டு அப்பங்களாகச் சுடுவாயாக; ஒவ்வொரு அப்பமும் மரக்காலிலே பத்தில் இரண்டுபங்கு மாவினால் செய்யப்படவேண்டும்.
6 and set them in two rows—six per row—on the table of pure gold before the LORD.
௬அவைகளை நீ யெகோவாவுடைய சந்நிதியில் பரிசுத்தமான மேஜையின்மேல் இரண்டு அடுக்காக, ஒவ்வொரு அடுக்கிலும் ஆறு ஆறு அப்பங்கள் இருக்கும்படியாக வைத்து,
7 And you are to place pure frankincense near each row, so that it may serve as a memorial portion for the bread, an offering made by fire to the LORD.
௭ஒவ்வொரு அடுக்கிலும் சுத்தமான தூபவர்க்கம் போடக்கடவாய்; அது அப்பத்துடன் இருந்து, நன்றியின் அடையாளமாகக் யெகோவாவுக்கேற்ற தகனபலியாக இருக்கும்.
8 Every Sabbath day the bread is to be set out before the LORD on behalf of the Israelites as a permanent covenant.
௮அப்பத்தை நிரந்தரமான உடன்படிக்கையாக இஸ்ரவேல் மக்கள் கையிலே வாங்கி, ஓய்வுநாள் தோறும் யெகோவாவுடைய சந்நிதியில் அடுக்கிவைப்பானாக.
9 It belongs to Aaron and his sons, who are to eat it in a holy place; for it is to him a most holy part of the offerings made by fire to the LORD—his portion forever.”
௯அது ஆரோனையும் அவனுடைய மகன்களையும் சேரும்; அதைப் பரிசுத்த இடத்திலே சாப்பிடுவார்களாக; நிரந்தரமான கட்டளையாக யெகோவாவுக்குச் செலுத்தப்படும் தகனபலிகளில் அது அவனுக்கு மகா பரிசுத்தமாக இருக்கும்” என்றார்.
10 Now the son of an Israelite mother and an Egyptian father went out among the Israelites, and a fight broke out in the camp between him and an Israelite.
௧0அக்காலத்திலே இஸ்ரவேலைச் சார்ந்த பெண்ணுக்கும் எகிப்திய ஆணுக்கும் பிறந்த மகனாகிய ஒருவன் இஸ்ரவேல் மக்களோடு புறப்பட்டு வந்திருந்தான்; இவனும் இஸ்ரவேலனாகிய ஒரு மனிதனும் முகாமிலே சண்டையிட்டார்கள்.
11 The son of the Israelite woman blasphemed the Name with a curse. So they brought him to Moses. (His mother’s name was Shelomith daughter of Dibri, of the tribe of Dan.)
௧௧அப்பொழுது இஸ்ரவேலைச் சார்ந்த அந்தப் பெண்ணின் மகன் யெகோவாவின் நாமத்தை நிந்தித்துத் தூஷித்தான். அவனை மோசேயினிடத்தில் கொண்டுவந்தார்கள். அவனுடைய தாயின் பெயர் செலோமித்; அவள் தாண் கோத்திரத்தானாகிய திப்ரியின் மகள்.
12 They placed him in custody until the will of the LORD should be made clear to them.
௧௨யெகோவாவின் வாக்கினாலே தங்களுக்கு உத்திரவு வரும்வரை, அவனைக் காவலில்வைத்தார்கள்.
13 Then the LORD said to Moses,
௧௩அப்பொழுது யெகோவா மோசேயை நோக்கி:
14 “Take the blasphemer outside the camp, and have all who heard him lay their hands on his head; then have the whole assembly stone him.
௧௪“தூஷித்தவனை முகாமிற்கு வெளியே கொண்டுபோ; கேட்டவர்கள் எல்லோரும் தங்கள் கைகளை அவனுடைய தலையின்மேல் வைப்பார்களாக; பின்பு சபையார் எல்லோரும் அவனைக் கல்லெறிவார்களாக.
15 And you are to tell the Israelites, ‘If anyone curses his God, he shall bear the consequences of his sin.
௧௫மேலும் நீ இஸ்ரவேல் மக்களை நோக்கி: எவனாகிலும் தன் தேவனைத் தூஷித்தால், அவன் தன் பாவத்தைச் சுமப்பான்.
16 Whoever blasphemes the name of the LORD must surely be put to death; the whole assembly must surely stone him, whether he is a foreign resident or native; if he blasphemes the Name, he must be put to death.
௧௬யெகோவாவுடைய நாமத்தை நிந்திக்கிறவன் கொலைசெய்யப்படவேண்டும்; சபையார் எல்லோரும் அவனைக் கல்லெறியவேண்டும்; அந்நியனானாலும் இஸ்ரவேலனானாலும் யெகோவாவின் நாமத்தைத் தூஷிக்கிறவன் கொலைசெய்யப்படவேண்டும்.
17 And if a man takes the life of anyone else, he must surely be put to death.
௧௭“ஒரு மனிதனைக் கொல்லுகிறவன் எவனோ அவன் கொலைசெய்யப்படவேண்டும்.
18 Whoever kills an animal must make restitution—life for life.
௧௮மிருகத்தைக் கொன்றவன் மிருகத்திற்கு மிருகம் கொடுக்கக்கடவன்.
19 If anyone injures his neighbor, whatever he has done must be done to him:
௧௯“ஒருவன் மற்றவனை ஊனப்படுத்தினால், அவன் செய்தபடியே அவனுக்கும் செய்யப்படக்கடவது.
20 fracture for fracture, eye for eye, tooth for tooth. Just as he injured the other person, the same must be inflicted on him.
௨0நொறுக்குதலுக்கு நொறுக்குதல், கண்ணுக்குக் கண், பல்லுக்குப் பல்; அவன் ஒரு மனிதனை ஊனப்படுத்தினதுபோல அவனும் ஊனப்படுத்தப்படவேண்டும்.
21 Whoever kills an animal must make restitution, but whoever kills a man must be put to death.
௨௧மிருகத்தைக் கொன்றவன் அதற்கு பதிலாக வேறு மிருகம் கொடுக்கவேண்டும்; மனிதனைக் கொன்றவனோ கொலைசெய்யப்படக்கடவன்.
22 You are to have the same standard of law for the foreign resident and the native; for I am the LORD your God.’”
௨௨உங்களில் அந்நியனுக்கும் இஸ்ரவேலர்களுக்கும் ஒரே நியாயம் இருக்கவேண்டும்; நான் உங்கள் தேவனாகிய யெகோவா என்று சொல்” என்றார்.
23 Then Moses spoke to the Israelites, and they took the blasphemer outside the camp and stoned him. So the Israelites did as the LORD had commanded Moses.
௨௩அப்படியே, நிந்தித்தவனை முகாமிற்கு வெளியே கொண்டுபோய், அவனைக் கல்லெறியும்படி மோசே இஸ்ரவேல் மக்களிடம் சொன்னான்; யெகோவா மோசேக்குக் கட்டளையிட்டபடியே செய்தார்கள்.
