Joshua 24
1 Then Joshua assembled all the tribes of Israel at Shechem. He summoned the elders, leaders, judges, and officers of Israel, and they presented themselves before God.
Иосуа а адунат тоате семинцииле луй Исраел ла Сихем ши а кемат пе бэтрыний луй Исраел, пе кэпетенииле луй, пе жудекэторий луй ши пе кэпетенииле оштий. Ей с-ау ынфэцишат ынаинтя луй Думнезеу.
2 And Joshua said to all the people, “This is what the LORD, the God of Israel, says: ‘Long ago your fathers, including Terah the father of Abraham and Nahor, lived beyond the Euphrates and worshiped other gods.
Иосуа а зис ынтрегулуй попор: „Аша ворбеште Домнул Думнезеул луй Исраел: ‘Пэринций воштри, Терах, татэл луй Авраам ши татэл луй Нахор, локуяу ын векиме де чялалтэ парте а рыулуй (Еуфрат) ши служяу алтор думнезей.
3 But I took your father Abraham from beyond the Euphrates and led him through all the land of Canaan, and I multiplied his descendants. I gave him Isaac,
Еу ам луат пе татэл востру Авраам дин чялалтэ парте а рыулуй ши л-ам пуртат прин тоатэ цара Канаанулуй; й-ам ынмулцит сэмынца ши й-ам дат пе Исаак.
4 and to Isaac I gave Jacob and Esau. I gave Esau Mount Seir to possess, but Jacob and his sons went down to Egypt.
Луй Исаак й-ам дат пе Иаков ши пе Есау: луй Есау й-ам дат ын стэпынире мунтеле Сеир, яр Иаков ши фиий луй с-ау коборыт ын Еӂипт.
5 Then I sent Moses and Aaron, and I afflicted the Egyptians by what I did there, and afterward I brought you out.
Ам тримис пе Мойсе ши пе Аарон ши ам ловит Еӂиптул ку минуниле пе каре ле-ам фэкут ын мижлокул луй; апой в-ам скос афарэ дин ел.
6 When I brought your fathers out of Egypt and you reached the Red Sea, the Egyptians pursued them with chariots and horsemen as far as the Red Sea.
Ам скос пе пэринций воштри дин Еӂипт ши аць ажунс ла маре. Еӂиптений ау урмэрит пе пэринций воштри пынэ ла Маря Рошие, ку каре ши кэлэрець.
7 So your fathers cried out to the LORD, and He put darkness between you and the Egyptians, over whom He brought the sea and engulfed them. Your very eyes saw what I did to the Egyptians. Then you lived in the wilderness for a long time.
Пэринций воштри ау стригат кэтре Домнул. Ши Домнул а пус ынтунерик ынтре вой ши еӂиптень, а адус маря ынапой песте ей ши й-а акоперит. Аць вэзут ку окий воштри че ам фэкут еӂиптенилор. Ши аць рэмас мултэ време ын пустиу.
8 Later, I brought you to the land of the Amorites who lived beyond the Jordan. They fought against you, but I delivered them into your hand, that you should possess their land when I destroyed them before you.
В-ам адус ын цара аморицилор, каре локуяу динколо де Йордан, ши ей ау луптат ымпотрива воастрэ. Й-ам дат ын мыниле воастре; аць пус стэпынире пе цара лор ши й-ам нимичит динаинтя воастрэ.
9 Then Balak son of Zippor, the king of Moab, set out to fight against Israel. He sent for Balaam son of Beor to curse you,
Балак, фиул луй Ципор, ымпэратул Моабулуй, с-а скулат ши а порнит ла луптэ ымпотрива луй Исраел. А кемат пе Балаам, фиул луй Беор, ка сэ вэ блестеме.
10 but I would not listen to Balaam. So he blessed you again and again, and I delivered you from his hand.
Дар н-ам врут сэ аскулт пе Балаам: ел в-а бинекувынтат ши в-ам избэвит дин мына луй Балак.
11 After this, you crossed the Jordan and came to Jericho. The people of Jericho fought against you, as did the Amorites, Perizzites, Canaanites, Hittites, Girgashites, Hivites, and Jebusites, and I delivered them into your hand.
Аць трекут Йорданул ши аць ажунс ла Иерихон. Локуиторий Иерихонулуй ау луптат ымпотрива воастрэ: амориций, ферезиций, канааниций, хетиций, гиргасиций, хевиций ши иебусиций. Й-ам дат ын мыниле воастре,
12 I sent the hornet ahead of you, and it drove out the two Amorite kings before you, but not by your own sword or bow.
ам тримис ынаинтя воастрэ веспе бондэряскэ ши й-а изгонит динаинтя воастрэ ка пе чей дой ымпэраць ай аморицилор: ну ку сабия, нич ку аркул тэу.
13 So I gave you a land on which you did not toil and cities that you did not build, and now you live in them and eat from vineyards and olive groves that you did not plant.’
В-ам дат о царэ пе каре н-о мунчисерэць, четэць пе каре ну ле зидисерэць, дар пе каре ле локуиць, вий ши мэслинь пе каре ну-й сэдисерэць, дар каре вэ служеск ка хранэ.’
14 Now, therefore, fear the LORD and serve Him in sincerity and truth; cast aside the gods your fathers served beyond the Euphrates and in Egypt, and serve the LORD.
Акум, темеци-вэ де Домнул ши служици-Й ку скумпэтате ши крединчошие. Депэртаць думнезеий кэрора ле-ау служит пэринций воштри динколо де рыу ши ын Еӂипт ши служиць Домнулуй.
15 But if it is unpleasing in your sight to serve the LORD, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your fathers served beyond the Euphrates, or the gods of the Amorites in whose land you are living. As for me and my house, we will serve the LORD!”
Ши дакэ ну гэсиць ку кале сэ служиць Домнулуй, алеӂець астэзь куй врець сэ служиць: сау думнезеилор кэрора ле служяу пэринций воштри динколо де рыу, сау думнезеилор аморицилор, ын а кэрор царэ локуиць. Кыт деспре мине, еу ши каса мя вом служи Домнулуй.”
16 The people replied, “Far be it from us to forsake the LORD to serve other gods!
Попорул а рэспунс ши а зис: „Департе де ной гындул сэ пэрэсим пе Домнул ши сэ служим алтор думнезей.
17 For the LORD our God brought us and our fathers out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of slavery, and performed these great signs before our eyes. He also protected us throughout our journey and among all the nations through which we traveled.
Кэч Домнул есте Думнезеул ностру. Ел не-а скос дин цара Еӂиптулуй, дин каса робией, пе ной ши пе пэринций ноштри; Ел а фэкут ынаинтя окилор ноштри ачеле минунь марь ши не-а пэзит ын тот тимпул друмулуй пе каре л-ам урмат ши ын мижлокул тутурор попоарелор пе ла каре ам трекут.
18 And the LORD drove out before us all the nations, including the Amorites who lived in the land. We too will serve the LORD, because He is our God!”
Ел а изгонит динаинтя ноастрэ пе тоате попоареле ши пе амориций каре локуяу цара ачаста. Ши ной вом служи Домнулуй, кэч Ел есте Думнезеул ностру.”
19 But Joshua said to the people, “You are not able to serve the LORD, for He is a holy God; He is a jealous God; He will not forgive your rebellion or your sins.
Иосуа а зис попорулуй: „Вой ну вець путя сэ служиць Домнулуй, кэч есте ун Думнезеу сфынт, ун Думнезеу ӂелос; Ел ну вэ ва ерта фэрэделеӂиле ши пэкателе.
20 If you forsake the LORD and serve foreign gods, He will turn and bring disaster on you and consume you, even after He has been good to you.”
Кынд вець пэрэси пе Домнул ши вець служи унор думнезей стрэинь, Ел Се ва ынтоарче ши вэ ва фаче рэу ши вэ ва нимичи, дупэ че в-а фэкут бине.”
21 “No!” replied the people. “We will serve the LORD!”
Попорул а зис луй Иосуа: „Ну! Кэч вом служи Домнулуй.”
22 Then Joshua told them, “You are witnesses against yourselves that you have chosen to serve the LORD.” “We are witnesses!” they said.
Иосуа а зис попорулуй: „Вой сунтець марторь ымпотрива воастрэ ыншивэ кэ аць алес пе Домнул, ка сэ-Й служиць.” Ей ау рэспунс: „Сунтем марторь!”
23 “Now, therefore,” he said, “get rid of the foreign gods among you and incline your hearts to the LORD, the God of Israel.”
„Скоатець дар думнезеий стрэинь каре сунт ын мижлокул востру ши ынтоарчеци-вэ инима спре Домнул Думнезеул луй Исраел.”
24 So the people said to Joshua, “We will serve the LORD our God and obey His voice.”
Ши попорул а зис луй Иосуа: „Ной вом служи Домнулуй Думнезеулуй ностру ши вом аскулта гласул Луй.”
25 On that day Joshua made a covenant for the people, and there at Shechem he established for them a statute and ordinance.
Иосуа а фэкут ын зиуа ачея ун легэмынт ку попорул ши й-а дат леӂь ши порунчь ла Сихем.
26 Joshua recorded these things in the Book of the Law of God. Then he took a large stone and set it up there under the oak that was near the sanctuary of the LORD.
Иосуа а скрис ачесте лукрурь ын картя леӂий луй Думнезеу. А луат о пятрэ маре ши а ридикат-о аколо суб стежарул каре ера ын локул ынкинат Домнулуй.
27 And Joshua said to all the people, “You see this stone. It will be a witness against us, for it has heard all the words the LORD has spoken to us, and it will be a witness against you if you ever deny your God.”
Ши Иосуа а зис ынтрегулуй попор: „Ятэ, пятра ачаста ва фи марторэ ымпотрива ноастрэ, кэч а аузит тоате кувинтеле пе каре ни ле-а спус Домнул; еа ва фи марторэ ымпотрива воастрэ, ка сэ ну фиць некрединчошь Думнезеулуй востру.”
28 Then Joshua sent the people away, each to his own inheritance.
Апой Иосуа а дат друмул попорулуй ши с-а дус фиекаре ын моштениря луй.
29 Some time later, Joshua son of Nun, the servant of the LORD, died at the age of 110.
Дупэ ачесте лукрурь, Иосуа, фиул луй Нун, робул Домнулуй, а мурит ын вырстэ де о сутэ зече ань.
30 And they buried him in the land of his inheritance, at Timnath-serah in the hill country of Ephraim, north of Mount Gaash.
Л-ау ынмормынтат ын цинутул каре-й кэзусе ла ымпэрцялэ, ла Тимнат-Серах, ын мунтеле луй Ефраим, ла мязэноапте де мунтеле Гааш.
31 Israel had served the LORD throughout the days of Joshua and of the elders who outlived him and who had experienced all the works that the LORD had done for Israel.
Исраел а служит Домнулуй ын тот тимпул веций луй Иосуа ши ын тот тимпул веций бэтрынилор каре ау трэит дупэ Иосуа ши каре куноштяу тот че фэкусе Домнул пентру Исраел.
32 And the bones of Joseph, which the Israelites had brought up out of Egypt, were buried at Shechem in the plot of land that Jacob had purchased from the sons of Hamor, Shechem’s father, for a hundred pieces of silver. So it became an inheritance for Joseph’s descendants.
Оаселе луй Иосиф, пе каре ле адусесерэ копиий луй Исраел дин Еӂипт, ау фост ынгропате ла Сихем, ын партя цариний пе каре о кумпэрасе Иаков де ла фиий луй Хамор, татэл луй Сихем, ку о сутэ де кесита ши каре а ажунс моштениря фиилор луй Иосиф.
33 Eleazar son of Aaron also died, and they buried him at Gibeah, which had been given to his son Phinehas in the hill country of Ephraim.
Елеазар, фиул луй Аарон, а мурит ши а фост ынгропат ла Гибеат-Финеас, каре фусесе дат фиулуй сэу Финеас, ын мунтеле луй Ефраим.
