< Joshua 21 >

1 Now the family heads of the Levites approached Eleazar the priest, Joshua son of Nun, and the heads of the other tribes of Israel
Báyìí ni olórí ìdílé àwọn ọmọ Lefi lọ bá Eleasari àlùfáà, Joṣua ọmọ Nuni àti olórí ẹ̀yà àwọn ìdílé ẹ̀yà Israẹli.
2 at Shiloh in the land of Canaan and said to them, “The LORD commanded through Moses that we be given cities in which to live, together with pasturelands for our livestock.”
Ní Ṣilo, ní Kenaani, wọn sọ fún wọn pé, “Olúwa pàṣẹ nípasẹ̀ Mose pé kí wọn fún wa ní ìlú láti máa gbé àti ilẹ̀ pápá oko tútù fún ẹran ọ̀sìn wa.”
3 So by the command of the LORD, the Israelites gave the Levites these cities and their pasturelands out of their own inheritance:
Àwọn ọmọ Israẹli sì fún àwọn ọmọ Lefi ní àwọn ìlú wọ̀nyí, àti ilẹ̀ pápá oko tútù lára ilẹ̀ ìní tiwọn gẹ́gẹ́ bí Olúwa ti pàṣẹ fún Mose.
4 The first lot came out for the Kohathite clans. The Levites who were descendants of Aaron the priest received thirteen cities by lot from the tribes of Judah, Simeon, and Benjamin.
Ìpín kìn-ín-ní wà fún àwọn ọmọ Kohati, ní agbo ilé, agbo ilé. Àwọn ọmọ Lefi tí wọ́n jẹ́ ọmọ Aaroni àlùfáà ni a pín ìlú mẹ́tàlá fún láti ara ẹ̀yà Juda, Simeoni àti Benjamini.
5 The remaining descendants of Kohath received ten cities by lot from the tribes of Ephraim, Dan, and the half-tribe of Manasseh.

8 So the Israelites allotted to the Levites these cities, together with their pasturelands, as the LORD had commanded through Moses.
Báyìí ni àwọn ọmọ Israẹli pín ìlú wọ̀nyí àti ilẹ̀ pápá oko tútù fún àwọn ọmọ Lefi gẹ́gẹ́ bí Olúwa ti pàṣẹ láti ẹnu Mose.
