Joshua 21
1 Now the family heads of the Levites approached Eleazar the priest, Joshua son of Nun, and the heads of the other tribes of Israel
肋未人各家長來見司祭厄肋阿匝爾和農竹旳兒子若蘇厄，以及以色列子民的族長，
2 at Shiloh in the land of Canaan and said to them, “The LORD commanded through Moses that we be given cities in which to live, together with pasturelands for our livestock.”
在客納罕地的史羅對他們說：「上主曾藉梅瑟吩咐過，要給我們一些城市居住，一些郊區為牧放我們的牲畜。」
3 So by the command of the LORD, the Israelites gave the Levites these cities and their pasturelands out of their own inheritance:
以色列子民於是按照上主的吩咐，由自己的產業中，將以下的城市和郊區分給了肋未。肋未人，屬大司祭亞郎的子孫，
4 The first lot came out for the Kohathite clans. The Levites who were descendants of Aaron the priest received thirteen cities by lot from the tribes of Judah, Simeon, and Benjamin.
刻哈特家族由猶大支派、西默盎支派和本雅民支派的地區中抽得十五座城。
5 The remaining descendants of Kohath received ten cities by lot from the tribes of Ephraim, Dan, and the half-tribe of Manasseh.
刻哈特其他子孫，按家族由厄弗辣因支派，丹支派和默納協半支派，抽得了十座城。
6 The descendants of Gershon received thirteen cities by lot from the tribes of Issachar, Asher, Naphtali, and the half-tribe of Manasseh in Bashan.
革爾爾雄的子孫，按照家族，由依撒加爾支派、阿協爾支派、納斐塔里支派和由巴商的默納協半支派，抽得了十三座城。
7 And the descendants of Merari received twelve cities from the tribes of Reuben, Gad, and Zebulun.
默辣黎的子孫，按照家族，由勒烏本支派、加得支派和則步隆支派，抽得了十二座城。
8 So the Israelites allotted to the Levites these cities, together with their pasturelands, as the LORD had commanded through Moses.
以色列子孫按照上主藉梅瑟所吩咐的，將這些城和城郊，以抽籤方式分給了肋未人。
9 From the tribes of Judah and Simeon, they designated these cities by name
由猶大西默盎支派，分給了他們下列各城：
10 to the descendants of Aaron from the Kohathite clans of the Levites, because the first lot fell to them:
肋未人，亞郎的子孫，刻哈特家族應抽第一籤。
11 They gave them Kiriath-arba (that is, Hebron), with its surrounding pasturelands, in the hill country of Judah. (Arba was the father of Anak.)
他們分得了猶大山區克黎雅特阿爾巴和四周城郊──阿爾原是阿克的祖先，克黎雅特阿爾巴，即是赫貝龍──
12 But they had given the fields and villages around the city to Caleb son of Jephunneh as his possession.
但已割給耶孚乃的兒子加肋布作產業的田和村莊卻不在內。
13 So to the descendants of Aaron the priest they gave these cities, together with their pasturelands: Hebron, a city of refuge for the manslayer, Libnah,
司祭亞郎的子孫分得給誤殺人者作避難城的赫貝龍和城郊，里貝納和城郊，
14 Jattir, Eshtemoa,
此外，尚有雅提爾和城郊，厄斯特摩和城郊，
15 Holon, Debir,
曷隆和城郊，德彼爾和城郊，
16 Ain, Juttah, and Beth-shemesh—nine cities from these two tribes, together with their pasturelands.
阿商和城郊猶他和城郊，貝特舍默士和城郊由這兩支派各分得了九座城。
17 And from the tribe of Benjamin they gave them Gibeon, Geba,
由本雅明支派，尚分得了基貝紅和城郊，
18 Anathoth, and Almon—four cities, together with their pasturelands.
阿納托特和城郊，阿爾孟和城郊：共計四座城。
19 In all, thirteen cities, together with their pasturelands, were given to the priests, the descendants of Aaron.
亞郎的子孫司祭們共分得了十三座城和所屬城郊。
20 The remaining Kohathite clans of the Levites were allotted these cities: From the tribe of Ephraim
肋未人刻哈特家族，即刻哈特其餘的子孫，由厄弗辣因子孫抽，得了一些城市。
21 they were given Shechem in the hill country of Ephraim (a city of refuge for the manslayer), Gezer,
他們分得厄弗辣因山區，給誤殺人者作避難城的舍根和城郊，革則爾和城郊，
22 Kibzaim, and Beth-horon—four cities, together with their pasturelands.
克貝匝殷和城郊，貝特曷隆和城郊：共計四座城；
23 From the tribe of Dan they were given Elteke, Gibbethon,
由丹支派分得了厄耳特刻和城郊，基貝通和城郊，
24 Aijalon, and Gath-rimmon—four cities, together with their pasturelands.
阿雅隆和城郊，加特黎孟和城郊：共計四座城；
25 And from the half-tribe of Manasseh they were given Taanach and Gath-rimmon—two cities, together with their pasturelands.
由默納協半支派分得了塔納客和城郊，依貝爾罕和城郊，共計兩座城。
26 In all, ten cities, together with their pasturelands, were given to the rest of the Kohathite clans.
刻哈特家族其餘的子孫，共分得了十座城和所屬城郊。
27 This is what the Levite clans of the Gershonites were given: From the half-tribe of Manasseh they were given Golan in Bashan, a city of refuge for the manslayer, and Beeshterah—two cities, together with their pasturelands.
肋未家族的革爾雄子孫由默納協半支派，分得了在巴商給誤殺人者作避難城的哥藍和城郊，阿市塔洛城和城郊：共計兩座城；
28 From the tribe of Issachar they were given Kishion, Daberath,
由依撒加爾支派，分得了克史雍和城郊，多貝辣特和城郊，
29 Jarmuth, and En-gannim—four cities, together with their pasturelands.
雅爾慕特和城郊，恩加寧和城郊，共計四座城；
30 From the tribe of Asher they were given Mishal, Abdon,
由阿協爾支派分得了米沙爾和城郊，阿貝冬和城郊，
31 Helkath, and Rehob—four cities, together with their pasturelands.
赫爾卡特和城郊，勒曷有布和城郊：共計四趡城；
32 And from the tribe of Naphtali they were given Kedesh in Galilee (a city of refuge for the manslayer), Hammoth-dor, and Kartan—three cities, together with their pasturelands.
納斐塔里支派，分得了在加里肋亞給誤殺人者作避難城的刻德市和城郊，哈摩特多爾和城郊，卡爾堂和城郊：共計三座城。
33 In all, thirteen cities, together with their pasturelands, were given to the Gershonite clans.
革爾雄人按照家族，共分得了十三座城和所屬城郊。
34 This is what the Merarite clan (the rest of the Levites) were given: From the tribe of Zebulun they were given Jokneam, Kartah,
其餘的肋未人，即默辣黎子孫的家族，由則步隆支派分得了約刻乃罕和城郊，卡爾達和城郊，
35 Dimnah, and Nahalal—four cities, together with their pasturelands.
黎孟和城郊，納哈拉耳和城郊：共計四座城；
36 From the tribe of Reuben they were given Bezer, Jahaz,
在約旦河東，由勒烏本支派分得了位於曠野高原內，給誤殺人者作避難城的貝責爾和城郊，雅哈茲和城郊，
37 Kedemoth, and Mephaath—four cities, together with their pasturelands.
刻德摩特和城郊，默法阿特和城郊：共計四座城；
38 And from the tribe of Gad they were given Ramoth in Gilead, a city of refuge for the manslayer, Mahanaim,
由加得支派，分得了在基肋阿得給誤殺人者作避難城的辣摩特和城郊，哈瑪紇殷和城郊，
39 Heshbon, and Jazer—four cities in all, together with their pasturelands.
赫市朋和城郊，雅則爾和城郊：共四座城。
40 In all, twelve cities were allotted to the clans of Merari, the remaining Levite clans.
其餘的肋未人家族，即默辣黎的子孫，按照家族，共抽得了十二座城。
41 For the Levites, then, there were forty-eight cities in all, together with their pasturelands, within the territory of the Israelites.
肋未人由以色列子民的產業中，共分得了四十八座城和所屬城。
42 Each of these cities had its own surrounding pasturelands; this was true for all the cities.
這些城包括全城和城四郊；每座城都是這樣。
43 Thus the LORD gave Israel all the land He had sworn to give their fathers, and they took possession of it and settled in it.
上主這樣將誓許給他們祖先的整個地區，賜給了以色列人；他們佔領之後，便住在那裏。
44 And the LORD gave them rest on every side, just as He had sworn to their fathers. None of their enemies could stand against them, for the LORD delivered all their enemies into their hand.
上主又使他們四境安寧，全像衪向他們的祖先所誓許的；一切仇敵，沒有能對抗他們的，因為上主將他們所有的仇敵，都交在他們手中了。
45 Not one of all the LORD’s good promises to the house of Israel had failed; everything was fulfilled.
上主向以色列家應許賜福的話，沒有一句落空，全部應驗了。
