< Job 8 >

1 Then Bildad the Shuhite replied:
Bilidadi, moto ya Shuwa, azwaki maloba mpe alobaki:
2 “How long will you go on saying such things? The words of your mouth are a blustering wind.
« Kino tango nini okokoba koloba makambo ya boye? Maloba na yo ezali te lokola mopepe makasi?
3 Does God pervert justice? Does the Almighty pervert what is right?
Boni, Nzambe abukaka mibeko, Nkolo-Na-Nguya-Nyonso abalolaka penza bosembo?
4 When your children sinned against Him, He gave them over to their rebellion.
Soki bana na yo basalaki masumu liboso na Ye, apesaki nde bango etumbu mpo na mabe na bango!
5 But if you would earnestly seek God and ask the Almighty for mercy,
Kasi yo, soki oluki Nzambe, soki osengi ngolu epai na Nkolo-Na-Nguya-Nyonso,
6 if you are pure and upright, even now He will rouse Himself on your behalf and restore your righteous estate.
soki ozali peto, soki ozali sembo, akotelema Ye moko, ata sik’oyo, mpo na kokata likambo na yo mpe kozongisela yo libula na yo, kolanda bosembo na yo.
7 Though your beginnings were modest, your latter days will flourish.
Bozwi na yo ya kala ekomonana moke, pamba te bozwi oyo ekoya na sima ekozala monene koleka.
8 Please inquire of past generations and consider the discoveries of their fathers.
Nabondeli yo, tuna bato oyo baleka liboso, kanisa mpe landela malamu bwanya ya batata na bango,
9 For we were born yesterday and know nothing; our days on earth are but a shadow.
pamba te, biso, tozali bato ya lobi oyo ewuti koleka, toyebi eloko te, mpe mikolo na biso, awa na se, ezali kaka lokola elili.
10 Will they not teach you and tell you, and speak from their understanding?
Bato ya kala bakoteya yo, bakoloba na yo, mpe, na bwanya na bango, bakobimisela yo mateya oyo:
11 Does papyrus grow where there is no marsh? Do reeds flourish without water?
Boni, nzete ya papirisi ekoki penza kobota na esika oyo ezangi potopoto? Nzete oyo ebotaka na mayi ekoki solo kobota na esika ekawuka?
12 While the shoots are still uncut, they dry up quicker than grass.
Ekawukaka liboso ya matiti nyonso, wana makasa na yango ezali nanu mobesu, ata bapikoli yango te.
13 Such is the destiny of all who forget God; so the hope of the godless will perish.
Ndenge wana nde ezalaka, bomoi ya bato nyonso oyo babosanaka Nzambe; boye, elikya ya bato mabe ebebaka.
14 His confidence is fragile; his security is in a spider’s web.
Eloko oyo batielaka motema ekokatana, pamba te elikya na bango ezali lokola ndako ya limpulututu.
15 He leans on his web, but it gives way; he holds fast, but it does not endure.
Ata batieli ndako na bango motema, esimbaka te; Ezala bakangami na yango, esimbaka kaka te.
16 He is a well-watered plant in the sunshine, spreading its shoots over the garden.
Bazali lokola nzete ya mobesu na tango ya moyi makasi; mandalala na yango ezipaka elanga,
17 His roots wrap around the rock heap; he looks for a home among the stones.
elingaka misisa na yango zingazinga ya mabanga mpe epasolaka nzela kati na mabanga;
18 If he is uprooted from his place, it will disown him, saying, ‘I never saw you.’
kasi soki bapikoli nzete yango na esika na yango, esika yango ewanganaka nzete mpe elobaka: ‹ Natikala komona yo te! ›
19 Surely this is the joy of his way; yet others will spring from the dust.
Ndenge wana nde suka na yango ekozala; mpe banzete mosusu ekobota kaka na mabele wana.
20 Behold, God does not reject the blameless, nor will He strengthen the hand of evildoers.
Solo, Nzambe abwakaka te bato ya sembo, mpe alendisaka te maboko ya bato mabe.
21 He will yet fill your mouth with laughter, and your lips with a shout of joy.
Nzokande, akotondisa monoko na yo na koseka, mpe bibebu na yo na banzembo ya esengo.
22 Your enemies will be clothed in shame, and the tent of the wicked will be no more.”
Banguna na yo bakotondisama na soni, mpe bandako ya bato mabe ekozala lisusu te. »
