< Job 42 >

1 Then Job replied to the LORD:
Na Job el topuk LEUM GOD ac fahk,
2 “I know that You can do all things and that no plan of Yours can be thwarted.
“LEUM GOD, nga etu lah ku nukewa oasr sum, Ac kom ku in oru ma nukewa kom lungse.
3 You asked, ‘Who is this who conceals My counsel without knowledge?’ Surely I spoke of things I did not understand, things too wonderful for me to know.
Kom siyuk lah fuka tuh nga kusen siyuk ke lalmwetmet lom Ke wangin ma nga etu. Nga tuh kaskas ke ma su nga tia kalem kac, Ke ma usrnguk su yoklala nu sik in etu kac.
4 You said, ‘Listen now, and I will speak. I will question you, and you shall inform Me.’
Kom tuh fahk mu nga in porongo ke kom ac sramsram, Ac in srike in topuk mwe siyuk lom uh.
5 My ears had heard of You, but now my eyes have seen You.
In pacl meet ah, ma na mwet uh fahk nu sik pa nga etu uh, Tuh pa inge, nga liye kom ke mutuk sifacna.
6 Therefore I retract my words, and I repent in dust and ashes.”
Ke ma inge nga arulana mwekin ke ma nukewa nga tuh fahk ah, Ac nga akkalemye auli luk ke nga muta inmasrlon kutkut ac apat.”
7 After the LORD had spoken these words to Job, He said to Eliphaz the Temanite, “My wrath is kindled against you and your two friends. For you have not spoken about Me accurately, as My servant Job has.
Tukun LEUM GOD El kaskas nu sel Job tari, na El fahk nu sel Eliphaz, “Nga toasr sum ac sin mwet kawuk luo lom ingan, mweyen komtal tia fahk kas pwaye keik, oana ke Job, mwet kulansap luk, el oru.
8 So now, take seven bulls and seven rams, go to My servant Job, and sacrifice a burnt offering for yourselves. Then My servant Job will pray for you, for I will accept his prayer and not deal with you according to your folly. For you have not spoken accurately about Me, as My servant Job has.”
Inge, kom fahla ac us itkosr cow mukul ac itkosr sheep mukul an nu yorol Job, ac sang nu sel in mwe kisa lomtal nu sel. Job el ac fah pre keimtal, na nga fah lohng pre lal, ac tia aklusrongtenye komtal oana ma fal in orek nu sumtal. Komtal tuh tia fahk ma pwaye keik oana ke el oru ah.”
9 So Eliphaz the Temanite, Bildad the Shuhite, and Zophar the Naamathite went and did as the LORD had told them; and the LORD accepted Job’s request.
Eliphaz, Bildad, ac Zophar oru ma LEUM GOD El fahk eltal in oru ah, na LEUM GOD El lohng pre lal Job.
10 After Job had prayed for his friends, the LORD restored his prosperity and doubled his former possessions.
Na tukun Job el pre ke kawuk tolu lal ah, LEUM GOD El sifilpa folokonang mwe kasrup lal in pacl luo yohk liki meet ah.
11 All his brothers and sisters and prior acquaintances came and dined with him in his house. They consoled him and comforted him over all the adversity that the LORD had brought upon him. And each one gave him a piece of silver and a gold ring.
Mwet lel Job ac mwet loul, wi mwet kawuk lal nukewa meet, elos tuku nu yorol Job ac welul orek kufwa in lohm sel ah. Elos fahk kas in akwoyal ac akkalemye pakomuta lalos, ke ma nukewa LEUM GOD El tuh akkeokyal kac. Kais sie selos sang mani ac ring gold se nu sel.
12 So the LORD blessed Job’s latter days more than his first. He owned 14,000 sheep, 6,000 camels, 1,000 yoke of oxen, and 1,000 female donkeys.
LEUM GOD El akinsewowoye tafun moul lal Job tok yohk liki na tafun moul lal meet ah. Oasr tausin singoul akosr sheep, tausin onkosr camel, tausin luo cow, ac tausin se ke donkey natul.
13 And he also had seven sons and three daughters.
Oayapa oasr wen itkosr ac acn tolu sasu natul.
14 He named his first daughter Jemimah, his second Keziah, and his third Keren-happuch.
El sang inen mutan se ma matu ah Jemimah, ac acn se akluo ah pa Keziah, ac acn se ma srik ah Keren Happuch.
15 No women as beautiful as Job’s daughters could be found in all the land, and their father granted them an inheritance among their brothers.
Wangin mutan fin faclu nufon kato oana acn natul Job inge. Papa tumaltal el tuh sang mwe usru laltal oapana ke el oru nu sin mukul natul ah.
16 After this, Job lived 140 years and saw his children and their children to the fourth generation.
Tukun ma inge, Job el tuh sifil moul ke lusen yac siofok angngaul, ac lusen pacl se inge oru el ku in liye fwilin tulik nutin natul, oayapa nutin nutin natul.
17 And so Job died, old and full of years.
Na el misa ke el arulana matuoh.
