Job 42
1 Then Job replied to the LORD:
ಆಗ ಯೋಬನು ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟ ಉತ್ತರ:
2 “I know that You can do all things and that no plan of Yours can be thwarted.
“ತಮಗೆ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯ ಎಂದು ನಾನು ಬಲ್ಲೆ; ತಮ್ಮ ಯಾವ ಉದ್ದೇಶವನ್ನೂ ಅಡ್ಡಿಮಾಡಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂಬುದನ್ನು ಸಹ ತಿಳಿದಿದ್ದೇನೆ.
3 You asked, ‘Who is this who conceals My counsel without knowledge?’ Surely I spoke of things I did not understand, things too wonderful for me to know.
‘ತಿಳುವಳಿಕೆಯಿಲ್ಲದೆ ನನ್ನ ಯೋಜನೆಯನ್ನು ಮಂಕುಮಾಡುವ ನೀನು ಯಾರು?’ ಎಂದು ತಾವು ಪ್ರಶ್ನಿಸಿದ್ದೀರಿ. ನಿಶ್ಚಯವಾಗಿ, ತಾವು ಹೇಳಿದಂತೆ ನನಗೆ ಅರ್ಥವಾಗದವುಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾತಾಡಿಬಿಟ್ಟೆ, ನನಗೆ ತಿಳಿಯದ ಸಂಗತಿಗಳನ್ನೂ ನನ್ನ ಬುದ್ಧಿಗೆ ಮೀರಿದ ಅದ್ಭುತಗಳನ್ನೂ ಕುರಿತು ಟೀಕಿಸಿಬಿಟ್ಟೆ.
4 You said, ‘Listen now, and I will speak. I will question you, and you shall inform Me.’
“ತಾವು ನನಗೆ, ‘ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆಮಾಡುವೆನು; ನೀನೇ ನನಗೆ ಉತ್ತರಕೊಡು,’ ಎಂದು ಅಪ್ಪಣೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟಿದ್ದೀರಿ.
5 My ears had heard of You, but now my eyes have seen You.
ಇದುವರೆಗೆ ತಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಕುರಿತು ನಾನು ಬೇರೆಯವರಿಂದ ಕೇಳಿದ್ದೆ; ಆದರೆ ಈಗ ತಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಕಣ್ಣಾರೆ ಕಂಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ.
6 Therefore I retract my words, and I repent in dust and ashes.”
ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ನಾನು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಹಿಂತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು, ಧೂಳಿನಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಬೂದಿಯಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಕುಳಿತು ಪಶ್ಚಾತ್ತಾಪಪಡುತ್ತೇನೆ,” ಎಂದನು.
7 After the LORD had spoken these words to Job, He said to Eliphaz the Temanite, “My wrath is kindled against you and your two friends. For you have not spoken about Me accurately, as My servant Job has.
ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಯೋಬನ ಸಂಗಡ ಮಾತಾಡಿದ ತರುವಾಯ, ತೇಮಾನ್ಯನಾದ ಎಲೀಫಜನಿಗೆ, “ನಿನ್ನ ಮೇಲೆಯೂ ನಿನ್ನ ಸ್ನೇಹಿತರಿಬ್ಬರ ಮೇಲೆಯೂ ನನಗೆ ಕೋಪವಿದೆ. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ನೀವು ನನ್ನ ದಾಸನಾದ ಯೋಬನಂತೆ ನೀವು ನನ್ನ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿ ಸತ್ಯವನ್ನು ಆಡಲಿಲ್ಲ.
8 So now, take seven bulls and seven rams, go to My servant Job, and sacrifice a burnt offering for yourselves. Then My servant Job will pray for you, for I will accept his prayer and not deal with you according to your folly. For you have not spoken accurately about Me, as My servant Job has.”
ಆದುದರಿಂದ ಈಗ ನೀವು ಏಳು ಹೋರಿಗಳನ್ನು, ಏಳು ಟಗರುಗಳನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ನನ್ನ ದಾಸನಾದ ಯೋಬನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬನ್ನಿರಿ. ನಿಮ್ಮ ದೋಷಪರಿಹಾರಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ದಹನಬಲಿಯನ್ನು ಅರ್ಪಿಸಿರಿ; ನನ್ನ ದಾಸನಾದ ಯೋಬನು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಪರವಾಗಿ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆಮಾಡುವನು. ನಾನು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಬುದ್ಧಿಹೀನತೆಯ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ದಂಡಿಸದಂತೆ, ಅವನ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆಯನ್ನು ಸ್ವೀಕರಿಸುವೆನು. ನೀವು ನನ್ನ ದಾಸನಾದ ಯೋಬನಂತೆ ನನ್ನ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿ ಸತ್ಯವನ್ನು ಆಡಲಿಲ್ಲ,” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು.
9 So Eliphaz the Temanite, Bildad the Shuhite, and Zophar the Naamathite went and did as the LORD had told them; and the LORD accepted Job’s request.
ತೇಮಾನ್ಯನಾದ ಎಲೀಫಜನು, ಶೂಹ್ಯನಾದ ಬಿಲ್ದದನು ಮತ್ತು ನಾಮಾಥ್ಯನಾದ ಚೋಫರನು ಹೋಗಿ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ತಮಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದಂತೆ ಮಾಡಿದರು. ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಯೋಬನ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆಯನ್ನು ಸ್ವೀಕರಿಸಿದರು.
10 After Job had prayed for his friends, the LORD restored his prosperity and doubled his former possessions.
ಯೋಬನು ತನ್ನ ಸ್ನೇಹಿತರಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆ ಮಾಡಿದ ತರುವಾಯ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಅವನ ಸಂಪತ್ತನ್ನು ಪುನಃಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸಿದರು. ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಯೋಬನಿಗೆ ಮೊದಲು ಇದ್ದವುಗಳಿಗಿಂತ ಎರಡರಷ್ಟು ಕೊಟ್ಟರು.
11 All his brothers and sisters and prior acquaintances came and dined with him in his house. They consoled him and comforted him over all the adversity that the LORD had brought upon him. And each one gave him a piece of silver and a gold ring.
ಆಗ ಯೋಬನ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಸಹೋದರರು, ಸಹೋದರಿಯರು, ಹಿಂದಿನ ಪರಿಚಿತರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಅವನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದರು. ಅವರು ಯೋಬನ ಸಂಗಡ ಅವನ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಊಟಮಾಡಿ, ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಅವನ ಮೇಲೆ ಬರಮಾಡಿದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಆಪತ್ತಿಗಾಗಿ ಸಂತಾಪ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸಿ ಅವನನ್ನು ಸಂತೈಸಿದರು. ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬರೂ ಒಂದೊಂದು ಬೆಳ್ಳಿ ನಾಣ್ಯವನ್ನೂ ಒಂದೊಂದು ಚಿನ್ನದ ಉಂಗುರವನ್ನೂ ಯೋಬನಿಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟರು.
12 So the LORD blessed Job’s latter days more than his first. He owned 14,000 sheep, 6,000 camels, 1,000 yoke of oxen, and 1,000 female donkeys.
ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಯೋಬನ ಆರಂಭಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಅವನ ಅಂತ್ಯವನ್ನು ಅಧಿಕವಾಗಿ ಆಶೀರ್ವದಿಸಿದರು. ಯೋಬನಿಗೆ ಹದಿನಾಲ್ಕು ಸಾವಿರ ಕುರಿಗಳೂ ಆರು ಸಾವಿರ ಒಂಟೆಗಳೂ ಸಾವಿರ ಜೋಡಿ ಎತ್ತುಗಳೂ ಸಾವಿರ ಕತ್ತೆಗಳೂ ದೊರಕಿದವು.
13 And he also had seven sons and three daughters.
ಅವನಿಗೆ ಏಳು ಪುತ್ರರೂ ಮೂರು ಪುತ್ರಿಯರೂ ಹುಟ್ಟಿದರು.
14 He named his first daughter Jemimah, his second Keziah, and his third Keren-happuch.
ಯೋಬನು ಮೊದಲನೆಯವಳಿಗೆ ಯೆಮೀಮಳೆಂದೂ ಎರಡನೆಯವಳಿಗೆ ಕೆಚೀಯಳೆಂದೂ ಮೂರನೆಯವಳಿಗೆ ಕೆರೆನ್ ಹಪ್ಪೂಕ್ ಎಂದೂ ಹೆಸರಿಟ್ಟನು.
15 No women as beautiful as Job’s daughters could be found in all the land, and their father granted them an inheritance among their brothers.
ಯೋಬನ ಪುತ್ರಿಯರ ಹಾಗೆ ಸೌಂದರ್ಯವತಿಯರು ದೇಶದಲ್ಲೆಲ್ಲೂ ಇರಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಅವರ ತಂದೆ ಅವರ ಅಣ್ಣತಮ್ಮಂದಿರಿಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟಹಾಗೆ ಅವರಿಗೂ ಸೊತ್ತನ್ನು ಹಂಚಿದನು.
16 After this, Job lived 140 years and saw his children and their children to the fourth generation.
ತರುವಾಯ ಯೋಬನು ನೂರ ನಾಲ್ವತ್ತು ವರ್ಷ ಬಾಳಿದನು. ನಾಲ್ಕನೆಯ ತಲೆಮಾರು ತನಕ ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನೂ ಮೊಮ್ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನೂ ಕಂಡನು.
17 And so Job died, old and full of years.
ಅನಂತರ ಯೋಬನು, ದಿನತುಂಬಿದ ಮುದುಕನಾಗಿ ಸತ್ತನು.
