Job 41

1 “Can you pull in Leviathan with a hook or tie down his tongue with a rope?

൧മഹാനക്രത്തെ ചൂണ്ടലിട്ട് പിടിക്കാമോ? അതിന്റെ നാക്ക് കയറുകൊണ്ട് അമർത്താമോ?

2 Can you put a cord through his nose or pierce his jaw with a hook?

൨അതിന്റെ മൂക്കിൽ കയറ് കോർക്കാമോ? അതിന്റെ അണയിൽ കൊളുത്ത് കടത്താമോ?

3 Will he beg you for mercy or speak to you softly?

൩അത് നിന്നോട് കൂടുതൽ യാചന കഴിക്കുമോ? മൃദുവായ വാക്ക് നിന്നോട് പറയുമോ?

4 Will he make a covenant with you to take him as a slave for life?

൪അതിനെ എന്നും ദാസനാക്കിക്കൊള്ളേണ്ടതിന് അത് നിന്നോട് ഉടമ്പടി ചെയ്യുമോ?

5 Can you pet him like a bird or put him on a leash for your maidens?

൫പക്ഷിയോട് എന്നപോലെ നീ അതിനോട് കളിക്കുമോ? അതിനെ പിടിച്ച് നിന്റെ കുമാരിമാർക്കായി കെട്ടിയിടുമോ?

6 Will traders barter for him or divide him among the merchants?

൬മീൻ പിടുത്തക്കാർ അതിനെക്കൊണ്ട് വ്യാപാരം ചെയ്യുമോ? അതിനെ കച്ചവടക്കാർക്ക് പങ്കിട്ട് വില്‍ക്കുമോ?

7 Can you fill his hide with harpoons or his head with fishing spears?

൭നിനക്ക് അതിന്റെ തോലിൽ നിറച്ച് അസ്ത്രവും തലയിൽ നിറച്ച് ചാട്ടുളിയും തറയ്ക്കാമോ?

8 If you lay a hand on him, you will remember the battle and never repeat it!

൮അതിനെ ഒന്ന് തൊടുക; അത് തീർച്ചയായും പോരിടും എന്ന് ഓർത്തുകൊൾക; പിന്നെ നീ അതിന് തുനിയുകയില്ല.

9 Surely hope of overcoming him is false. Is not the sight of him overwhelming?

൯അവന്റെ ആശയ്ക്ക് ഭംഗംവരുന്നു; അതിനെ കാണുമ്പോൾ തന്നെ അവൻ വീണുപോകുമല്ലോ.

10 No one is so fierce as to rouse Leviathan. Then who is able to stand against Me?

൧൦അതിനെ ഇളക്കുവാൻ തക്ക ശൂരനില്ല; പിന്നെ എന്നോട് എതിർത്തുനില്ക്കുന്നവൻ ആര്?

11 Who has given to Me that I should repay him? Everything under heaven is Mine.

൧൧ഞാൻ മടക്കിക്കൊടുക്കേണ്ടതിന് എനിക്ക് മുമ്പുകൂട്ടി തന്നതാര്? ആകാശത്തിൻ കീഴിലുള്ളതെല്ലം എന്റെതല്ലയോ?

12 I cannot keep silent about his limbs, his power and graceful form.

൧൨അതിന്റെ അവയവങ്ങളെയും മഹാശക്തിയെയും അതിന്റെ ചേലൊത്ത രൂപത്തെയും പറ്റി ഞാൻ മിണ്ടാതിരിക്കുകയില്ല.

13 Who can strip off his outer coat? Who can approach him with a bridle?

൧൩അതിന്റെ പുറം കുപ്പായം ഊരാകുന്നവനാര്? അതിന്റെ ഇരട്ടനിരപ്പല്ലിനിടയിൽ ആര് ചെല്ലും?

14 Who can open his jaws, ringed by his fearsome teeth?

൧൪അതിന്റെ മുഖത്തെ കതക് ആര് തുറക്കും? അതിന്റെ പല്ലിന് ചുറ്റും ഭീഷണി ഉണ്ട്.

15 His rows of scales are his pride, tightly sealed together.

൧൫ചെതുമ്പൽനിര അതിന്റെ ഡംഭമാകുന്നു; അത് മുദ്രവച്ച് മുറുക്കി അടച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

16 One scale is so near to another that no air can pass between them.

൧൬അത് ഒന്നോടൊന്ന് പറ്റിയിരിക്കുന്നു; ഇടയിൽ കാറ്റുകടക്കുകയില്ല.

17 They are joined to one another; they clasp and cannot be separated.

൧൭ഒന്നോടൊന്ന് ചേർന്നിരിക്കുന്നു; വേർപെടുത്തിക്കൂടാത്തവിധം തമ്മിൽ പറ്റിയിരിക്കുന്നു.

18 His snorting flashes with light, and his eyes are like the rays of dawn.

൧൮അത് തുമ്മുമ്പോൾ വെളിച്ചം മിന്നുന്നു; അതിന്റെ കണ്ണ് ഉഷസ്സിന്റെ കണ്ണിമപോലെ ആകുന്നു.

19 Firebrands stream from his mouth; fiery sparks shoot forth!

൧൯അതിന്റെ വായിൽനിന്ന് തീപ്പന്തങ്ങൾ പുറപ്പെടുകയും തീപ്പൊരികൾ തെറിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു.

20 Smoke billows from his nostrils as from a boiling pot over burning reeds.

൨൦തിളക്കുന്ന കലത്തിൽനിന്നും കത്തുന്ന പോട്ടപ്പുല്ലിൽനിന്നും എന്നപോലെ അതിന്റെ മൂക്കിൽനിന്ന് പുക പുറപ്പെടുന്നു.

21 His breath sets coals ablaze, and flames pour from his mouth.

൨൧അതിന്റെ ശ്വാസം കനൽ ജ്വലിപ്പിക്കുന്നു; അതിന്റെ വായിൽനിന്ന് ജ്വാല പുറപ്പെടുന്നു.

22 Strength resides in his neck, and dismay leaps before him.

൨൨അതിന്റെ കഴുത്തിൽ ബലം വസിക്കുന്നു; അതിന്റെ മുമ്പിൽ നിരാശ നൃത്തം ചെയ്യുന്നു.

23 The folds of his flesh are tightly joined; they are firm and immovable.

൨൩അതിന്റെ മാംസദശകൾ തമ്മിൽ പറ്റിയിരിക്കുന്നു; അവ ഇളകിപ്പോകാത്തവിധം അതിന്മേൽ ഉറച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

24 His chest is as hard as a rock, as hard as a lower millstone!

൨൪അതിന്റെ ഹൃദയം കല്ലുപോലെ ഉറപ്പുള്ളത്; തിരികല്ലിന്റെ അടിക്കല്ലുപോലെ ഉറപ്പുള്ളതു തന്നെ.

25 When Leviathan rises up, the mighty are terrified; they withdraw before his thrashing.

൨൫അത് പൊങ്ങുമ്പോൾ ബലശാലികൾ പേടിക്കുന്നു; ഭയം ഹേതുവായിട്ട് അവർ പരവശരായിത്തീരുന്നു.

26 The sword that reaches him has no effect, nor does the spear or dart or arrow.

൨൬വാൾകൊണ്ട് അതിനെ എതിർക്കുന്നത് അസാദ്ധ്യം; കുന്തം, അസ്ത്രം, വേൽ എന്നിവ കൊണ്ടും സാദ്ധ്യമല്ല

27 He regards iron as straw and bronze as rotten wood.

൨൭ഇരുമ്പ് വൈക്കോൽപോലെയും താമ്രം ദ്രവിച്ച മരംപോലെയും വിചാരിക്കുന്നു.

28 No arrow can make him flee; slingstones become like chaff to him.

൨൮അസ്ത്രം അതിനെ ഓടിക്കുകയില്ല; കവിണക്കല്ല് അതിന് താളടിയായിരിക്കുന്നു.

29 A club is regarded as straw, and he laughs at the sound of the lance.

൨൯ഗദ അതിന് താളടിപോലെ തോന്നുന്നു; വേൽ ചാട്ടുന്ന ഒച്ച കേട്ട് അത് ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

30 His undersides are jagged potsherds, spreading out the mud like a threshing sledge.

൩൦അതിന്റെ അധോഭാഗം മൂർച്ചയുള്ള ഓട്ടുകഷണംപോലെയാകുന്നു; അത് ചെളിമേൽ പല്ലിത്തടിപോലെ വലിയുന്നു.

31 He makes the depths seethe like a cauldron; he makes the sea like a jar of ointment.

൩൧കലത്തെപ്പോലെ അത് ആഴിയെ തിളപ്പിക്കുന്നു; സമുദ്രത്തെ അത് തൈലംപോലെയാക്കിത്തീർക്കുന്നു.

32 He leaves a glistening wake behind him; one would think the deep had white hair!

൩൨അതിന്റെ പിന്നാലെ ഒരു പാത മിന്നുന്നു; ആഴി നരച്ചതുപോലെ തോന്നുന്നു.

33 Nothing on earth is his equal— a creature devoid of fear!

൩൩ഭൂമിയിൽ അതിന് തുല്യമായിട്ട് യാതൊന്നും ഇല്ല; അതിനെ ഭയമില്ലാത്തതായി ഉണ്ടാക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു.

34 He looks down on all the haughty; he is king over all the proud.”

൩൪അത് ഉന്നതമായുള്ളതിനെയെല്ലാം നോക്കിക്കാണുന്നു; അഹംഭാവമുള്ള ജന്തുക്കൾക്കെല്ലാം അത് രാജാവായിരിക്കുന്നു”.
