Job 37
1 “At this my heart also pounds and leaps from its place.
१“फिर इस बात पर भी मेरा हृदय काँपता है, और अपने स्थान से उछल पड़ता है।
2 Listen closely to the thunder of His voice and the rumbling that comes from His mouth.
२उसके बोलने का शब्द तो सुनो, और उस शब्द को जो उसके मुँह से निकलता है सुनो।
3 He unleashes His lightning beneath the whole sky and sends it to the ends of the earth.
३वह उसको सारे आकाश के तले, और अपनी बिजली को पृथ्वी की छोर तक भेजता है।
4 Then there comes a roaring sound; He thunders with His majestic voice. He does not restrain the lightning when His voice resounds.
४उसके पीछे गरजने का शब्द होता है; वह अपने प्रतापी शब्द से गरजता है, और जब उसका शब्द सुनाई देता है तब बिजली लगातार चमकने लगती है।
5 God thunders wondrously with His voice; He does great things we cannot comprehend.
५परमेश्वर गरजकर अपना शब्द अद्भुत रीति से सुनाता है, और बड़े-बड़े काम करता है जिनको हम नहीं समझते।
6 For He says to the snow, ‘Fall on the earth,’ and to the gentle rain, ‘Pour out a mighty downpour.’
६वह तो हिम से कहता है, पृथ्वी पर गिर, और इसी प्रकार मेंह को भी और मूसलाधार वर्षा को भी ऐसी ही आज्ञा देता है।
7 He seals up the hand of every man, so that all men may know His work.
७वह सब मनुष्यों के हाथ पर मुहर कर देता है, जिससे उसके बनाए हुए सब मनुष्य उसको पहचानें।
8 The wild animals enter their lairs; they settle down in their dens.
८तब वन पशु गुफाओं में घुस जाते, और अपनी-अपनी माँदों में रहते हैं।
9 The tempest comes from its chamber, and the cold from the driving north winds.
९दक्षिण दिशा से बवण्डर और उत्तर दिशा से जाड़ा आता है।
10 By the breath of God the ice is formed and the watery expanses are frozen.
१०परमेश्वर की श्वास की फूँक से बर्फ पड़ता है, तब जलाशयों का पाट जम जाता है।
11 He loads the clouds with moisture; He scatters His lightning through them.
११फिर वह घटाओं को भाप से लादता, और अपनी बिजली से भरे हुए उजियाले का बादल दूर तक फैलाता है।
12 They swirl about, whirling at His direction, accomplishing all that He commands over the face of all the earth.
१२वे उसकी बुद्धि की युक्ति से इधर-उधर फिराए जाते हैं, इसलिए कि जो आज्ञा वह उनको दे, उसी को वे बसाई हुई पृथ्वी के ऊपर पूरी करें।
13 Whether for punishment or for His land, He accomplishes this in His loving devotion.
१३चाहे ताड़ना देने के लिये, चाहे अपनी पृथ्वी की भलाई के लिये या मनुष्यों पर करुणा करने के लिये वह उसे भेजे।
14 Listen to this, O Job; stand still and consider the wonders of God.
१४“हे अय्यूब! इस पर कान लगा और सुन ले; चुपचाप खड़ा रह, और परमेश्वर के आश्चर्यकर्मों का विचार कर।
15 Do you know how God dispatches the clouds or makes the lightning flash?
१५क्या तू जानता है, कि परमेश्वर क्यों अपने बादलों को आज्ञा देता, और अपने बादल की बिजली को चमकाता है?
16 Do you understand how the clouds float, those wonders of Him who is perfect in knowledge?
१६क्या तू घटाओं का तौलना, या सर्वज्ञानी के आश्चर्यकर्मों को जानता है?
17 You whose clothes get hot when the land lies hushed under the south wind,
१७जब पृथ्वी पर दक्षिणी हवा ही के कारण से सन्नाटा रहता है तब तेरे वस्त्र गर्म हो जाते हैं?
18 can you, like Him, spread out the skies to reflect the heat like a mirror of bronze?
१८फिर क्या तू उसके साथ आकाशमण्डल को तान सकता है, जो ढाले हुए दर्पण के तुल्य दृढ़ है?
19 Teach us what we should say to Him; we cannot draw up our case when our faces are in darkness.
१९तू हमें यह सिखा कि उससे क्या कहना चाहिये? क्योंकि हम अंधियारे के कारण अपना व्याख्यान ठीक नहीं रच सकते।
20 Should He be told that I want to speak? Would a man ask to be swallowed up?
२०क्या उसको बताया जाए कि मैं बोलना चाहता हूँ? क्या कोई अपना सत्यानाश चाहता है?
21 Now no one can gaze at the sun when it is bright in the skies after the wind has swept them clean.
२१“अभी तो आकाशमण्डल में का बड़ा प्रकाश देखा नहीं जाता जब वायु चलकर उसको शुद्ध करती है।
22 Out of the north He comes in golden splendor; awesome majesty surrounds Him.
२२उत्तर दिशा से सुनहरी ज्योति आती है परमेश्वर भययोग्य तेज से विभूषित है।
23 The Almighty is beyond our reach; He is exalted in power! In His justice and great righteousness He does not oppress.
२३सर्वशक्तिमान परमेश्वर जो अति सामर्थी है, और जिसका भेद हम पा नहीं सकते, वह न्याय और पूर्ण धार्मिकता को छोड़ अत्याचार नहीं कर सकता।
24 Therefore, men fear Him, for He is not partial to the wise in heart.”
२४इसी कारण सज्जन उसका भय मानते हैं, और जो अपनी दृष्टि में बुद्धिमान हैं, उन पर वह दृष्टि नहीं करता।”
