< Job 36 >

1 And Elihu continued:
Elihu gara nʼihu sị:
2 “Bear with me a little longer, and I will show you that there is more to be said on God’s behalf.
“Nyetụ m nwa oge nta, ka m gosi gị na ọ ka dị ọtụtụ ihe e nwere ikwu nyere Chineke.
3 I get my knowledge from afar, and I will ascribe justice to my Maker.
Ana m enweta amamihe m site nʼebe dị anya; aga m enye Onye kere m ezi omume.
4 For truly my words are free of falsehood; one perfect in knowledge is with you.
Ya doo gị anya na okwu m abụghị okwu ụgha; onye zuruoke nʼihe ọmụma nọnyeere gị.
5 Indeed, God is mighty, but He despises no one; He is mighty in strength of understanding.
“Chineke dị ike ma ọ dịghị eleda mmadụ ọbụla anya; ọ dị ike, bụrụkwa onye na-eme ihe ọbụla o zubere ime.
6 He does not keep the wicked alive, but He grants justice to the afflicted.
Ọ naghị edebe ndị ajọ omume ndụ, kama ọ na-enye ndị a na-akpagbu akpagbu ihe ruuru ha.
7 He does not take His eyes off the righteous, but He enthrones them with kings and exalts them forever.
Ọ dịghị ewepụ anya ya nʼebe ndị ezi omume nọ, kama ọ na-eme ka ha na ndị eze nọkwasị nʼocheeze, bụrụ ndị e buliri elu ruo mgbe ebighị ebi.
8 And if men are bound with chains, caught in cords of affliction,
9 then He tells them their deeds and how arrogantly they have transgressed.
ọ na-agwa ha ihe ha mere, na ha sitere na nganga ha mehie.
10 He opens their ears to correction and commands that they turn from iniquity.
Ọ na-eme ka ha ṅaa ntị nye ntụziaka, na-enyekwa ha iwu ka ha chegharịa site nʼajọ ihe ha na-eme.
11 If they obey and serve Him, then they end their days in prosperity and their years in happiness.
12 But if they do not obey, then they perish by the sword and die without knowledge.
13 The godless in heart harbor resentment; even when He binds them, they do not cry for help.
“Ndị ajọ omume na-ebu iro nʼobi ha. Ha adịghị echegharị kpọkuo ya ọ bụladị mgbe o kere ha agbụ.
14 They die in their youth, among the male shrine prostitutes.
Ha na-anwụ nʼoge okorobịa ha, nʼetiti ndị ikom na-agba akwụna nʼụlọ arụsị dị iche iche.
15 God rescues the afflicted by their affliction and opens their ears in oppression.
16 Indeed, He drew you from the jaws of distress to a spacious and broad place, to a table full of richness.
“Ọ na-achọsi ike ịnapụta gị site nʼọnụ mkpagbu, baa nʼebe sara mbara, ebe mkpagbu na-adịghị, baa na tebul nke jupụtara na nri dị ezi ụtọ.
17 But now you are laden with the judgment due the wicked; judgment and justice have seized you.
Ma ugbu a, ikpe ọmụma dịịrị ndị ajọ omume na-anyịgbu gị; ikpe ọmụma na ikpe ziri ezi abịakwasịla gị.
18 Be careful that no one lures you with riches; do not let a large bribe lead you astray.
Lezie anya ka mmadụ ọbụla ghara iji akụnụba rafuo gị; ekwekwala ka ihe ngarị bara ụba wezuga gị nʼọnọdụ gị.
19 Can your wealth or all your mighty effort keep you from distress?
Akụnụba gị maọbụ ịdị ike gị ha pụrụ ịnapụta gị ka ị ghara ịnọ na mkpagbu?
20 Do not long for the night, when people vanish from their homes.
Anọla na-echere ka abalị bịa, mgbe a na-adọkpụrụ ndị ụmụ mmadụ site nʼụlọ ha pụọ.
21 Be careful not to turn to iniquity, for this you have preferred to affliction.
Lezie anya, ka i ghara iche ihu nye ajọ ihe, bụ nke ọ dị ka ị na-ahọrọ karịa mkpagbu.
22 Behold, God is exalted in His power. Who is a teacher like Him?
“E buliela Chineke elu nʼike ya, onye bụ onye ozizi dịka ya?
23 Who has appointed His way for Him, or told Him, ‘You have done wrong’?
Onye họpụtaara ya ụzọ ọ ga-agbaso, maọbụ sị ya ‘I meela ajọ ihe’?
24 Remember to magnify His work, which men have praised in song.
Cheta ka i bulie ọrụ aka ya elu, bụ nke ụmụ mmadụ torola site nʼabụ.
25 All mankind has seen it; men behold it from afar.
Mmadụ niile ahụzuola ya; ụmụ mmadụ nọ nʼebe dị anya na-ele ya anya.
26 Indeed, God is great—beyond our knowledge; the number of His years is unsearchable.
Lee, Chineke dị ukwuu, karịa nghọta anyị. Ọnụọgụgụ afọ ya karịrị mmadụ ịchọpụta.
27 For He draws up drops of water which distill the rain from the mist,
“Ọ bụ ya na-eme ka ukuru mmiri rigoro nʼelu mgbe anwụ na-acha, nke a na-aghọ mmiri ozuzo nye iyi niile.
28 which the clouds pour out and shower abundantly on mankind.
Igwe ojii na-awụdata mmiri dị nʼime ya mee ka mmiri ozuzo dị ukwuu zokwasị ụmụ mmadụ.
29 Furthermore, who can understand how the clouds spread out, how the thunder roars from His pavilion?
30 See how He scatters His lightning around Him and covers the depths of the sea.
Lee, ọ gbasaala amụma ya gburugburu ya na-ekpuchi ebe niile dịkarịsịrị omimi nke oke osimiri.
31 For by these He judges the nations and provides food in abundance.
32 He fills His hands with lightning and commands it to strike its mark.
O ji amụma nke egbe eluigwe kpojuo aka ya, ma na-enye ya iwu itida ihe ọbụla ọ chọrọ.
33 The thunder declares His presence; even the cattle regard the rising storm.
Ịda ụda nke egbe eluigwe na-akọwa ọbịbịa nke oke ifufe mmiri; ọ bụladị ehi na-eme ka a mara na ọ nọ nso.
