< Job 34 >

1 Then Elihu continued:
Eliwu azwaki maloba mpe alobaki:
2 “Hear my words, O wise men; give ear to me, O men of learning.
« Bino bato ya bwanya, boyoka maloba na ngai; bino bato ya mayele, boyoka ngai!
3 For the ear tests words as the mouth tastes food.
Pamba te litoyi nde esosolaka maloba ndenge lolemo emekaka bilei.
4 Let us choose for ourselves what is right; let us learn together what is good.
Tososola mpo na biso moko makambo ya sembo, toyekola elongo makambo oyo ezali malamu.
5 For Job has declared, ‘I am righteous, yet God has deprived me of justice.
Tala makambo oyo Yobo azali koloba: ‹ Nasali mabe te, kasi Nzambe aboyi kolongisa ngai.
6 Would I lie about my case? My wound is incurable, though I am without transgression.’
Atako nazali sembo, bazali kozwa ngai lokola mokosi; atako nasali mabe te, likonga na Ye ezokisi ngai pota oyo esilaka te. ›
7 What man is like Job, who drinks up derision like water?
Nani azali lokola Yobo, oyo amelaka kotiolama lokola mayi?
8 He keeps company with evildoers and walks with wicked men.
Atambolaka elongo na banyokoli ya bato, asanganaka na bato mabe.
9 For he has said, ‘It profits a man nothing that he should delight in God.’
Pamba te alobi: ‹ Ezali na litomba te epai na moto, na koluka kosepelisa Nzambe. ›
10 Therefore listen to me, O men of understanding. Far be it from God to do wrong, and from the Almighty to act unjustly.
Boye, bino bato ya mayele, boyoka ngai! Ekoki kosalema te ete Nzambe asala mabe; ekoki kosalema te ete Nkolo-Na-Nguya-Nyonso asala makambo oyo ezangi bosembo.
11 For according to a man’s deeds He repays him; according to a man’s ways He brings consequences.
Azongiselaka moto na moto kolanda misala na ye, apesaka na moto na moto kolanda etamboli na ye.
12 Indeed, it is true that God does not act wickedly, and the Almighty does not pervert justice.
Te, Nzambe akoki kosala mabe te, Nkolo-Na-Nguya-Nyonso akoki kobuka bosembo te.
13 Who gave Him charge over the earth? Who appointed Him over the whole world?
Nani akomisaki Ye Mokonzi ya mokili? Nani apesaki Ye bokonzi likolo ya mokili mobimba?
14 If He were to set His heart to it and withdraw His Spirit and breath,
Soki Nzambe azalaki kaka kokanisa mpo na Ye moko, mpe soki abatelaki kati na Ye moko molimo na Ye mpe pema na Ye,
15 all flesh would perish together and mankind would return to the dust.
bato nyonso balingaki kokufa elongo, mpe moto nyonso alingaki kozonga putulu.
16 If you have understanding, hear this; listen to my words.
Soki ozali na boyebi, yoka maloba oyo; yoka makambo oyo nazali koloba.
17 Could one who hates justice govern? Will you condemn the just and mighty One,
Boni, moto oyo ayinaka bosembo akoki solo kozala mokonzi? Okokweyisa solo Nkolo-Na-Bosembo mpe Nkolo-Na-Nguya?
18 who says to kings, ‘You are worthless!’ and to nobles, ‘You are wicked,’
Ezali Ye nde alobaka na bakonzi: ‹ Bozali bato pamba, › mpe na bato ya lokumu: ‹ Bozali bato mabe? ›
19 who is not partial to princes and does not favor rich over poor? For they are all the work of His hands.
Aponaka bilongi ya bakambi te, mpe asalelaka bazwi bolamu te mpo na bozwi na bango koleka babola, pamba te bango nyonso basalemaki na maboko na Ye.
20 They die in an instant, in the middle of the night. The people convulse and pass away; the mighty are removed without human hand.
Bato bazali kokufa mbala moko, kati na butu; bazali kobunda-bunda mpe kolimwa, bato ya nguya bazali kolongwa atako loboko ya moto etindiki bango te.
21 For His eyes are on the ways of a man, and He sees his every step.
Miso na Ye ezali likolo ya banzela ya bato, amonaka etamboli na bango nyonso.
22 There is no darkness or deep shadow where the workers of iniquity can hide.
Ezala molili, ezala libulu ya kufa, eloko moko te ekoki kobomba bato mabe.
23 For God need not examine a man further or have him approach for judgment.
Nzambe azali na posa ya kolanda-landa bato te mpo ete bakoka koya liboso na Ye mpo na kosambisama.
24 He shatters the mighty without inquiry and sets up others in their place.
Abomaka bato ya makasi ata soki aluki koyeba tina te mpe atiaka bato mosusu na esika na bango.
25 Therefore, He recognizes their deeds; He overthrows them in the night and they are crushed.
Pamba te ayebi misala na bango, akweyisi bango na butu moko, mpe babebisami.
26 He strikes them for their wickedness in full view,
Apesaka bango etumbu lokola bato mabe na esika oyo bato nyonso bakoki komona,
27 because they turned aside from Him and had no regard for any of His ways.
pamba te baboyaki kolanda Ye mpe kososola banzela na Ye.
28 They caused the cry of the poor to come before Him, and He heard the outcry of the afflicted.
Bakomisaki koganga ya babola kino epai ya Nzambe, mpe koganga ya banyokolami eyokanaki epai na Ye.
29 But when He remains silent, who can condemn Him? When He hides His face, who can see Him? Yet He watches over both man and nation,
Kasi soki avandi kimia, nani akokweyisa Ye? Soki abombi elongi na Ye, nani akoki komona Ye? Nzokande, akengelaka bikolo mpe bato
30 that godless men should not rule or lay snares for the people.
mpo na kopekisa bato mabe ete bakamba mokili te mpe batiela bato mitambo te.
31 Suppose someone says to God, ‘I have endured my punishment; I will offend no more.
Soki moto moko alobi na Nzambe: ‹ Nasali mabe, nazwi etumbu ya masumu na ngai, kasi nakosala lisusu mabe te.
32 Teach me what I cannot see; if I have done wrong, I will not do it again.’
Lakisa ngai makambo oyo nazali kokoka komona te; soki nasali mabe, nakozongela yango lisusu te. ›
33 Should God repay you on your own terms when you have disavowed His? You must choose, not I; so tell me what you know.
Boni, Nzambe akoki kopesa yo etumbu? Nayebi ete ondimi na yo te. Yo nde osengeli kozwa mokano, kasi ngai te! Yebisa ngai makambo oyo yo oyebi.
34 Men of understanding will declare to me, and the wise men who hear me will say:
Bato ya mayele mpe bato ya bwanya oyo bazali koyoka ngai balobaki:
35 ‘Job speaks without knowledge; his words lack insight.’
‹ Yobo azali koloba na boyebi te, maloba na ye ezali na tina te. ›
36 If only Job were tried to the utmost for answering like a wicked man.
Oh! Tika ete Yobo asambisama kino na suka mpo ete apesa biyano lokola moto mabe!
37 For he adds rebellion to his sin; he claps his hands among us and multiplies his words against God.”
Pamba te, na lisumu na ye, azali kobakisa kotomboka, azali kotia tembe kati na biso mpe azali kokoba kobakisa maloba mpo na kotelemela Nzambe. »
