Job 30
1 “But now they mock me, men younger than I am, whose fathers I would have refused to entrust with my sheep dogs.
अब मभन्दा जवानहरूले मेरो ठट्टा गर्नुबाहेक अरू केही गर्दैनन् । यी जवान मानिसहरूका बुबाहरूलाई आफ्नो बगाल रुँग्ने कुकुरहरूको छेउमा काम गर्न पनि म इन्कार गर्थें ।
2 What use to me was the strength of their hands, since their vigor had left them?
वास्तवमा तिनीहरूका बाबुहरूका हातको ताकतले, अर्थात् तन्देरी उमेरको बल नष्ट भएका मानिसहरूका ताकतले मलाई कसरी मदत गर्न सक्थ्यो र?
3 Gaunt from poverty and hunger, they gnawed the dry land, and the desolate wasteland by night.
गरिबी र भोकले तिनीहरू दुब्लो थिए । उजाडस्थान र मरुभूमीमा अँध्यारोमा सुक्खा भुइँमा तिनीहरू कुटुकुटु टोक्थे ।
4 They plucked mallow among the shrubs, and the roots of the broom tree were their food.
तिनीहरूले नुनिलो झार र झाडीका पातहरू उखेल्थे । झ्याउका जराहरू तिनीहरूका खानेकुरा थिए ।
5 They were banished from among men, shouted down like thieves,
तिनीहरू मानिसहरूका बिचबाट खेदिएका थिए, जो चिच्च्याउँदै चोरको पछि लागेझैं तिनीहरूको पछि लाग्थे ।
6 so that they lived on the slopes of the wadis, among the rocks and in holes in the ground.
त्यसैले तिनीहरूले नदीका मैदानहरू, जमिन र चट्टानका गुफाहरूमा बस्नुपरेको थियो ।
7 They cried out among the shrubs and huddled beneath the nettles.
झाडीहरूका बिचमा तिनीहरू गधझैं कराउँथे, र तिनीहरू झाडीमुनि एकसाथ जम्मा हुन्थे ।
8 A senseless and nameless brood, they were driven off the land.
तिनीहरू मूर्खहरूका छोराहरू थिए, वास्तवमा नाम नभएका मानिसहरूका छोराहरू थिए । कोर्रा लगाएर तिनीहरूलाई देशबाट लखेटियो ।
9 And now they mock me in song; I have become a byword among them.
तर अहिले म तिनीहरूको गिल्लाको गितको विषय बनेको छु । म तिनीहरूका लागि उखान भएको छु ।
10 They abhor me and keep far from me; they do not hesitate to spit in my face.
तिनीहरू मलाई घृणा गर्छन्, र मबाट टाढा रहन्छन् । मेरो मुखमा थुक्नबाट तिनीहरू रोकिंदैनन् ।
11 Because God has unstrung my bow and afflicted me, they have cast off restraint in my presence.
किनकि परमेश्वरले मेरो धनुको डोरी फुकाउनुभएको र मलाई कष्ट दिनुभएको छ, अनि मलाई गिल्ला गर्नेहरूले मेरो अनुहारकै सामु आफ्नो रिस पोखाउँछन् ।
12 The rabble arises at my right; they lay snares for my feet and build siege ramps against me.
मेरो दाहिने हातमा हुल्याहाहरू खडा हुन्छन् । तिनीहरूले मलाई टाढा लखेट्छन् र मेरो विरुद्धमा आफ्ना घेरा-मचान बनाउँछन् ।
13 They tear up my path; they profit from my destruction, with no one to restrain them.
तिनीहरूले मेरो मार्ग नष्ट गर्छन् । तिनीहरूले ममाथि विपत्ति ल्याउँछन्, र ती मानिसहरूलाई रोक्ने कोही छैन ।
14 They advance as through a wide breach; through the ruins they keep rolling in.
सहरको पर्खालमा भएको ठुलो प्वालबाट आउने फौजझैं तिनीहरू मेरो विरुद्धमा आउँछन् । विनाशको बिचमा तिनीहरू ममाथि लडिबडि खेल्छन् ।
15 Terrors are turned loose against me; they drive away my dignity as by the wind, and my prosperity has passed like a cloud.
त्रासहरू ममाथि परेका छन् । बतासले उडाएर लगेझैं मेरो आदरलाई लगिएको छ । मेरो समृद्धि बादलझैं बितेर जान्छ ।
16 And now my soul is poured out within me; days of affliction grip me.
अब मेरो जीवन मभित्रै सकिंदैछ । कष्टका धेरै दिनहरूले मलाई समातेका छन् ।
17 Night pierces my bones, and my gnawing pains never rest.
रातमा मभित्र भएका हड्डीहरूले मलाई घोच्छन् । मलाई सताउने मेरा पीडाले आराम लिंदैनन् ।
18 With great force He grasps my garment; He seizes me by the collar of my tunic.
परमेश्वरको महान् शक्तिले मेरो वस्त्र समातेको छ । मेरो कमीजको कठालोझैं यसले मेरो चारैतिर बेर्छ ।
19 He throws me into the mud, and I have become like dust and ashes.
उहाँले मलाई हिलोमा फाल्नुभएको छ । म धूलो र खरानीझैं भएको छु ।
20 I cry out to You for help, but You do not answer; when I stand up, You merely look at me.
हे परमेश्वर, म तपाईंमा पुकार्छु, तर तपाईंले मलाई जवाफ दिनुहुन्न । म खडा हुन्छु, तर तपाईंले हेर्नु मात्र हुन्छ ।
21 You have ruthlessly turned on me; You oppose me with Your strong hand.
तपाईं बद्लिनुभएको छ र मप्रति क्रुर बन्नुभएको छ । आफ्नो हातको ताकतले तपाईंले मलाई सताउनुहुन्छ ।
22 You snatch me up into the wind and drive me before it; You toss me about in the storm.
तपाईंले मलाई बतासमा उचाल्नुहुन्छ र त्यसले मलाई उडाउने बनाउनुहुन्छ । तपाईंले मलाई आँधीमा यताउता हुत्याउनुहुन्छ ।
23 Yes, I know that You will bring me down to death, to the place appointed for all the living.
किनकि म जान्दछु, कि तपाईंले मलाई मृत्युमा पुर्याउनुहुन्छ, सबै जीवितहरूका लागि नियुक्त गरिएको घरमा लानुहुन्छ ।
24 Yet no one stretches out his hand to a ruined man when he cries for help in his distress.
तापनि जब कोही लड्छ, तब के त्यसले मदतको लागि आफ्नो हात उठाउँदैन र? के सङ्कष्टमा भएको कसैले पनि मदतको लागि पुकार्दैन र?
25 Have I not wept for those in trouble? Has my soul not grieved for the needy?
कष्टमा भएको व्यक्तिको लागि म रोइनँ र? खाँचोमा परेको मानिसको लागि मैले शोक गरिनँ र?
26 But when I hoped for good, evil came; when I looked for light, darkness fell.
जब मैले भलाइको आशा गरें, तब खराबी आयो । जब मैले ज्योतिको आशा गरें, त्यसको साटो अन्धकार आयो ।
27 I am churning within and cannot rest; days of affliction confront me.
मेरो हृदय कष्टमा छ र यसले विश्राम लिंदैन । कष्टका दिनहरू ममाथि आएका छन् ।
28 I go about blackened, but not by the sun. I stand up in the assembly and cry for help.
अन्धकारमा बसिरहेको मानिसझैं म हिंडेको छ, तर सूर्यको कारणले होइन । म सभामा खडा हुन्छु र मदतको लागि पुकार्छु ।
29 I have become a brother of jackals, a companion of ostriches.
म स्यालहरूको भाइ, अस्ट्रिचहरूको मित्र भएको छु ।
30 My skin grows black and peels, and my bones burn with fever.
मेरो छाला कालो छ, र पत्रै-पत्र भएर झर्छ । मेरा हड्डीहरू रापले जलेका छन् ।
31 My harp is tuned to mourning and my flute to the sound of weeping.
त्यसकारण मेरो वीणाले शोकका गीतहरू गाउँछ, र मेरो बाँसुरीले रुनेहरूको निम्ति गाउँछ ।
