Job 11
1 Then Zophar the Naamathite replied:
| و صوفر نعماتی در جواب گفت: | ۱ |
2 “Should this stream of words go unanswered and such a speaker be vindicated?
| «آیابه کثرت سخنان جواب نباید داد و مردپرگو عادل شمرده شود؟ | ۲ |
3 Should your babbling put others to silence? Will you scoff without rebuke?
| آیا بیهوده‌گویی تومردمان را ساکت کند و یا سخریه کنی و کسی تورا خجل نسازد؟ | ۳ |
4 You have said, ‘My doctrine is sound, and I am pure in Your sight.’
| و می‌گویی تعلیم من پاک است، و من در نظر تو بی‌گناه هستم. | ۴ |
5 But if only God would speak and open His lips against you,
| و لیکن کاش که خدا سخن بگوید و لبهای خود را بر تو بگشاید، | ۵ |
6 and disclose to you the secrets of wisdom, for true wisdom has two sides. Know then that God exacts from you less than your iniquity deserves.
| و اسرار حکمت را برای تو بیان کند. زیرا که درماهیت خود دو طرف دارد. پس بدان که خدا کمتراز گناهانت تو را سزا داده است. | ۶ |
7 Can you fathom the deep things of God or discover the limits of the Almighty?
| آیا عمق های خدا را می‌توانی دریافت نمود؟ یا به کنه قادرمطلق توانی رسید؟ | ۷ |
8 They are higher than the heavens—what can you do? They are deeper than Sheol—what can you know? (Sheol h7585)
| مثل بلندیهای آسمان است؛ چه خواهی کرد؟ گودتر از هاویه است؛ چه توانی دانست؟ (Sheol h7585) | ۸ |
9 Their measure is longer than the earth and wider than the sea.
| پیمایش آن از جهان طویل تر واز دریا پهن تر است. | ۹ |
10 If He comes along to imprison you, or convenes a court, who can stop Him?
| اگر سخت بگیرد و حبس نماید و به محاکمه دعوت کند کیست که او راممانعت نماید؟ | ۱۰ |
11 Surely He knows the deceit of men. If He sees iniquity, does He not take note?
| زیرا که بطالت مردم را می‌داندو شرارت را می‌بیند اگرچه در آن تامل نکند. | ۱۱ |
12 But a witless man can no more become wise than the colt of a wild donkey can be born a man!
| ومرد جاهل آنوقت فهیم می‌شود که بچه خروحشی، انسان متولد شود. | ۱۲ |
13 As for you, if you direct your heart and lift up your hands to Him,
| اگر تو دل خود راراست سازی و دستهای خود را بسوی او درازکنی، | ۱۳ |
14 if you put away the iniquity in your hand, and allow no injustice to dwell in your tents,
| اگر در دست تو شرارت باشد، آن را ازخود دور کن، و بی‌انصافی در خیمه های تو ساکن نشود. | ۱۴ |
15 then indeed you will lift up your face without shame; you will stand firm and unafraid.
| پس یقین روی خود را بی‌عیب برخواهی افراشت، و مستحکم شده، نخواهی ترسید. | ۱۵ |
16 For you will forget your misery, recalling it only as waters gone by.
| زیرا که مشقت خود را فراموش خواهی کرد، و آن را مثل آب رفته به یاد خواهی آورد، | ۱۶ |
17 Your life will be brighter than noonday; its darkness will be like the morning.
| و روزگار تو از وقت ظهر روشن ترخواهد شد، و اگرچه تاریکی باشد، مثل صبح خواهد گشت. | ۱۷ |
18 You will be secure, because there is hope, and you will look around and lie down in safety.
| و مطمئن خواهی بود چونکه امید داری، و اطراف خود را تجسس نموده، ایمن خواهی خوابید. | ۱۸ |
19 You will lie down without fear, and many will court your favor.
| و خواهی خوابید وترساننده‌ای نخواهد بود، و بسیاری تو راتملق خواهند نمود. | ۱۹ |
20 But the eyes of the wicked will fail, and escape will elude them; they will hope for their last breath.”
| لیکن چشمان شریران کاهیده می‌شود و ملجای ایشان از ایشان نابود می‌گردد و امید ایشان جان کندن ایشان است.» | ۲۰ |
