Job 11

1 Then Zophar the Naamathite replied:

അപ്പോൾ നാമാത്യനായ സോഫർ ഇപ്രകാരം ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞു:

2 “Should this stream of words go unanswered and such a speaker be vindicated?

“ഈ വാക്പ്രവാഹത്തിന് ഉത്തരം പറയേണ്ടതല്ലേ? ഈ വിടുവായൻ കുറ്റവിമുക്തനാകുമോ?

3 Should your babbling put others to silence? Will you scoff without rebuke?

നിന്റെ പുലമ്പൽ മറ്റുള്ളവരെ നിശ്ശബ്ദരാക്കുമോ? നീ പരിഹസിക്കുമ്പോൾ ആരും നിന്നെ ശകാരിക്കാതിരിക്കുമെന്നാണോ?

4 You have said, ‘My doctrine is sound, and I am pure in Your sight.’

‘എന്റെ ഉപദേശം കുറ്റമറ്റതും ദൈവത്തിന്റെ ദൃഷ്ടിയിൽ ഞാൻ നിർമലനും ആകുന്നു,’ എന്നു നീ പറഞ്ഞല്ലോ.

5 But if only God would speak and open His lips against you,

എന്നാൽ, ദൈവം സംസാരിച്ചിരുന്നെങ്കിൽ, അവിടത്തെ അധരങ്ങൾ നിനക്കെതിരേയും

6 and disclose to you the secrets of wisdom, for true wisdom has two sides. Know then that God exacts from you less than your iniquity deserves.

ജ്ഞാനത്തിന്റെ രഹസ്യങ്ങൾ നിനക്കായും തുറന്നെങ്കിൽ കൊള്ളാമായിരുന്നു; കാരണം യഥാർഥ ജ്ഞാനത്തിനു രണ്ടുവശങ്ങൾ ഉണ്ടല്ലോ. നിന്റെ ചില പാപങ്ങൾ ദൈവം മറന്നിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നുതുകൂടെ നീ അറിയുക.

7 Can you fathom the deep things of God or discover the limits of the Almighty?

“ദൈവികരഹസ്യങ്ങളുടെ നിഗൂഢത ഗ്രഹിക്കാൻ നിനക്കു കഴിയുമോ? സർവശക്തന്റെ അതിരുകൾ നിനക്കു നിർണയിക്കാൻ കഴിയുമോ?

8 They are higher than the heavens—what can you do? They are deeper than Sheol—what can you know? (Sheol h7585)

അത് ആകാശത്തെക്കാൾ ഉന്നതം—നിനക്ക് എന്തുചെയ്യാൻ കഴിയും? അതു പാതാളത്തെക്കാൾ അഗാധം—നിനക്ക് എന്ത് അറിയാൻ സാധിക്കും? (Sheol h7585)

9 Their measure is longer than the earth and wider than the sea.

അതിന്റെ അളവ് ഭൂമിയെക്കാൾ ദൈർഘ്യമുള്ളതും സമുദ്രത്തെക്കാൾ വിശാലവും ആകുന്നു.

10 If He comes along to imprison you, or convenes a court, who can stop Him?

“അവിടന്ന് വന്നു നിന്നെ ബന്ധനത്തിലാക്കുകയും ന്യായവിസ്താരത്തിനായി ഒരുമിച്ചുകൂട്ടുകയും ചെയ്താൽ ആർക്ക് അവിടത്തെ എതിർക്കാൻ കഴിയും?

11 Surely He knows the deceit of men. If He sees iniquity, does He not take note?

അവിടന്നു വഞ്ചകരെ തിരിച്ചറിയുന്നു; അധർമം കണ്ടാൽ അവിടന്ന് അതു ഗൗനിക്കുകയില്ലേ?

12 But a witless man can no more become wise than the colt of a wild donkey can be born a man!

ഒരു കാട്ടുകഴുതക്കുട്ടി മനുഷ്യനായി ജനിക്കുന്നതിലും വൈഷമ്യം ഒരു അവിവേകി ബുദ്ധിമാനായിത്തീരുന്നതിലാണ്.

13 As for you, if you direct your heart and lift up your hands to Him,

“നീ നിന്റെ ഹൃദയം തിരുസന്നിധിയിൽ ഉയർത്തുമെങ്കിൽ, നിന്റെ കരങ്ങൾ ദൈവമുമ്പാകെ നീട്ടുമെങ്കിൽ,

14 if you put away the iniquity in your hand, and allow no injustice to dwell in your tents,

നിന്റെ കൈകളിലുള്ള പാപം നീക്കിക്കളയുമെങ്കിൽ, ദുഷ്ടത നിന്റെ കൂടാരത്തിൽ പാർപ്പിക്കാതിരിക്കുമെങ്കിൽ,

15 then indeed you will lift up your face without shame; you will stand firm and unafraid.

നീ നിഷ്കളങ്കതയോടെ നിന്റെ മുഖമുയർത്തും; നീ സ്ഥിരചിത്തനായിരിക്കും, ഭയപ്പെടുകയുമില്ല.

16 For you will forget your misery, recalling it only as waters gone by.

നീ നിന്റെ കഷ്ടത മറക്കും, നിശ്ചയം, ഒഴുകിപ്പോയ വെള്ളംപോലെ എന്നു നീ അതിനെ ഓർക്കും.

17 Your life will be brighter than noonday; its darkness will be like the morning.

നിന്റെ ജീവിതം മധ്യാഹ്നത്തെക്കാൾ പ്രകാശപൂരിതമാകും, അന്ധകാരം നിനക്ക് അരുണോദയപ്രഭയായി മാറും.

18 You will be secure, because there is hope, and you will look around and lie down in safety.

അപ്പോൾ പ്രത്യാശ അവശേഷിക്കുന്നതിനാൽ നീ സുരക്ഷിതനായിരിക്കും; നീ ചുറ്റും നോക്കും, നിർഭയനായി വിശ്രമിക്കും.

19 You will lie down without fear, and many will court your favor.

നീ വിശ്രമിക്കും, ആരും നിന്നെ അസ്വസ്ഥനാക്കുകയില്ല, പലരും നിന്റെ ഔദാര്യത്തിന്റെ ആനുകൂല്യം പ്രതീക്ഷിച്ചുവരും.

20 But the eyes of the wicked will fail, and escape will elude them; they will hope for their last breath.”

ദുഷ്ടരുടെ കണ്ണോ, മങ്ങിപ്പോകും, അവർക്കു രക്ഷാമാർഗം ഉണ്ടാകുകയില്ല; അന്ത്യശ്വാസംവലിക്കുകയായിരിക്കും അവരുടെ പ്രത്യാശ.”
