Jeremiah 7
1 This is the word that came to Jeremiah from the LORD, saying,
১যিহোৱাৰ পৰা যিৰিমিয়ালৈ এই বাক্য আহিল আৰু ক’লে:
2 “Stand in the gate of the house of the LORD and proclaim this message: Hear the word of the LORD, all you people of Judah who enter through these gates to worship the LORD.
২বোলে, তুমি যিহোৱাৰ গৃহৰ বাহিৰৰ দুৱাৰ মুখত থিয় হৈ, তাত এই বাক্য প্ৰচাৰ কৰা আৰু কোৱা, ‘যিহোৱাক প্ৰণিপাত কৰিবলৈ এই দুৱাৰবোৰত সোমোৱা হে যিহূদাৰ লোকসকল, যিহোৱাৰ বাক্য শুনা।
3 Thus says the LORD of Hosts, the God of Israel: Correct your ways and deeds, and I will let you live in this place.
৩ইস্ৰায়েলৰ ঈশ্বৰ বাহিনীসকলৰ যিহোৱাই এই কথা কৈছে: তোমালোকে তোমালোকৰ আচাৰ-ব্যৱহাৰ আৰু কাৰ্য শুধৰোৱা; তেতিয়া মই তোমালোকক এই ঠাইত বাস কৰোৱাম।
4 Do not trust in deceptive words, chanting: ‘This is the temple of the LORD, the temple of the LORD, the temple of the LORD.’
৪এইবোৰ “যিহোৱাৰ মন্দিৰ! যিহোৱাৰ মন্দিৰ! যিহোৱাৰ মন্দিৰ!” এই বুলি কোৱা কথাত তোমালোকে বিশ্বাস নকৰিবা।
5 For if you really correct your ways and deeds, if you act justly toward one another,
৫কিয়নো যদি তোমালোকে নিজ নিজ আচাৰ-ব্যৱহাৰ আৰু কাৰ্য সম্পূৰ্ণকৈ শুধৰোৱা, যদি কোনো মানুহ আৰু তাৰ ওচৰ-চুবুৰীয়াৰ মাজত তোমালোকে ন্যায় বিচাৰ সম্পূৰ্ণকৈ সিদ্ধ কৰা,
6 if you no longer oppress the foreigner and the fatherless and the widow, and if you no longer shed innocent blood in this place or follow other gods to your own harm,
৬বিদেশী, মাউৰা আৰু বিধৱাক উপদ্ৰৱ নকৰা, আৰু এই ঠাইত নিৰ্দ্দোষীৰ ৰক্তপাত নকৰা, নাইবা তোমালোকৰ অপৰাধৰ কাৰণে ইতৰ দেৱতাবোৰৰ পাছত নচলা,
7 then I will let you live in this place, in the land that I gave to your fathers forever and ever.
৭তেন্তে মই এই ঠাইত তোমালোকৰ পূৰ্বপুৰুষসকলক দিয়া এই দেশত তোমালোকক অনন্ত কাললৈকে বাস কৰোৱাম।
8 But look, you keep trusting in deceptive words to no avail.
৮চোৱা! উপকাৰ কৰিব নোৱাৰা মিছা কথাত তোমালোকে বিশ্বাস কৰিছা।
9 Will you steal and murder, commit adultery and perjury, burn incense to Baal, and follow other gods that you have not known,
৯তোমালোকে চুৰ, নৰ-বধ, পৰস্ত্ৰীগমন আৰু মিছা শপত খোৱা, বাল দেৱতাৰ উদ্দেশ্যে ধূপ জ্বলাই, তোমালোকে নজনা ইতৰ দেৱতাবোৰৰ পাছত চলি, সেই সকলো ঘিণলগীয়া কাৰ্য কৰা?
10 and then come and stand before Me in this house, which bears My Name, and say, ‘We are delivered, so we can continue with all these abominations’?
১০মোৰ নামেৰে প্ৰখ্যাত এই গৃহত সোমাই মোৰ আগত থিয় হৈ, ‘আমি মুক্তি পালোঁ’ এইবুলি কবা নে?
11 Has this house, which bears My Name, become a den of robbers in your sight? Yes, I too have seen it, declares the LORD.
১১মোৰ নামেৰে প্ৰখ্যাত এই গৃহ তোমালোকৰ দৃষ্টিত ডকাইতৰ গুহা হল নে? যিহোৱাই ইয়াকেই ঘোষণা কৰিছে, চোৱা! মই, মইয়ো ইয়াকেই দেখিলোঁ।
12 But go now to the place in Shiloh where I first made a dwelling for My Name, and see what I did to it because of the wickedness of My people Israel.
১২কিন্তু, পূৰ্বতে মই য’ত মোৰ নাম স্থাপন কৰিছিলোঁ, চীলোত থকা মোৰ সেই ঠাইলৈ তোমালোক যোৱা, আৰু মোৰ প্ৰজা ইস্ৰায়েলৰ দুষ্টতাৰ কাৰণে মই তাক যি কৰিছিলোঁ, তাক চোৱা।
13 And now, because you have done all these things, declares the LORD, and because I have spoken to you again and again but you would not listen, and I have called to you but you would not answer,
১৩আৰু যিহোৱাই কৈছে, তোমালোকে এইবোৰ কাৰ্য কৰিলা, আৰু মই অতি ৰাতিপুৱাতে উঠি তোমালোকক এই কথা কওঁতেও তোমালোকে নুশুনিলা আৰু মই মাতোতে তোমালোকে উত্তৰ নিদিলা।
14 therefore what I did to Shiloh I will now do to the house that bears My Name, the house in which you trust, the place that I gave to you and your fathers.
১৪এই হেতুকে, মোৰ নামেৰে প্ৰখ্যাত, তোমালোকে বিশ্বাস কৰা এই গৃহক, তোমালোকক আৰু তোমালোকৰ পূৰ্বপুৰুষসকলক মই দিয়া এই ঠাইক, মই চীলোক কৰাৰ দৰে কৰিম।
15 And I will cast you out of My presence, just as I have cast out all your brothers, all the descendants of Ephraim.
১৫আৰু তোমালোকৰ ভাইসকলক, এনে কি, ইফ্ৰয়িমৰ গোটেই বংশক যেনেকৈ দূৰ কৰি পেলালোঁ, তেনেকৈ তোমালোককো মোৰ সম্মুখৰ পৰা দূৰ কৰি পেলাম।
16 As for you, do not pray for these people, do not offer a plea or petition on their behalf, and do not beg Me, for I will not listen to you.
১৬এই হেতুকে, তুমি এই জাতিৰ কাৰণে প্ৰাৰ্থনা নকৰিবা, বা তেওঁলোকৰ কাৰণে নিবেদন কি, প্ৰাৰ্থনা উৎসৰ্গ নকৰিবা, বা অনুৰোধ নকৰিবা; কিয়নো মই তোমাৰ কথা নুশুনিম।
17 Do you not see what they are doing in the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem?
১৭তেওঁলোকে যিহূদাৰ নগৰবোৰত আৰু যিৰূচালেমৰ আলিবোৰত যি কৰিছে, তাক জানো তুমি দেখা নাই?
18 The sons gather wood, the fathers light the fire, and the women knead the dough to make cakes for the Queen of Heaven; they pour out drink offerings to other gods to provoke Me to anger.
১৮মোক বেজাৰ দি আকাশৰ ৰাণীৰ উদ্দেশ্যে পিঠা বনাবলৈ আৰু ইতৰ দেৱতাবোৰৰ উদ্দেশ্যে পেয়-নৈবেদ্য উৎসৰ্গ কৰিবলৈ লৰা-ছোৱালীসকলে খৰি বোটলে, বাপেকহঁতে জুই জ্বলাই, আৰু মহিলাসকলে মৈদা খচে।
19 But am I the One they are provoking? declares the LORD. Is it not themselves they spite, to their own shame?
১৯যিহোৱাই কৈছে, তেওঁলোকে জানো মোকহে দুখ দিব? কিন্তু নিজৰ মুখ বিবৰ্ণ কৰিবলৈ জানো নিজৰ মনকেই বেজাৰ নিদিব?
20 Therefore this is what the Lord GOD says: Behold, My anger and My fury will be poured out on this place, on man and beast, on the trees of the field and the produce of the land, and it will burn and not be extinguished.
২০এই হেতুকে প্ৰভু যিহোৱাই এই কথা কৈছে: চোৱা, এই ঠাইৰ ওপৰত মানুহ, পশু, বাৰীৰ গছ, আৰু ভুমিৰ ফল, এই সকলোৰে মোৰ ক্ৰোধ আৰু ক্রোধাগ্নি ঢলা যাব আৰু সেয়ে দগ্ধ কৰিব, নুমাই নাযাব।
21 This is what the LORD of Hosts, the God of Israel, says: Add your burnt offerings to your other sacrifices and eat the meat yourselves!
২১ইস্ৰায়েলৰ ঈশ্বৰ বাহিনীসকলৰ যিহোৱাই এই কথা কৈছে: তোমালোকে তোমালোকৰ মঙ্গলাৰ্থক বলিৰ লগত হোম-বলি যোগ কৰা, আৰু মাংস খোৱা।
22 For when I brought your fathers out of the land of Egypt, I did not merely command them about burnt offerings and sacrifices,
২২কিয়নো যি দিনা মই তোমালোকৰ পূৰ্বপুৰুষসকলক মিচৰ দেশৰ পৰা উলিয়াই আনিছিলোঁ, সেই দিনা মই হোম-বলি কি মঙ্গলাৰ্থক বলিৰ বিষয়ে কোৱা বা আজ্ঞা দিয়া নাছিলোঁ।
23 but this is what I commanded them: Obey Me, and I will be your God, and you will be My people. You must walk in all the ways I have commanded you, so that it may go well with you.
২৩কিন্তু তেওঁলোকক এই আজ্ঞাহে দিছিলোঁ! যে, তোমালোকে মোৰ বাক্য শুনা, তেতিয়া মই তোমালোকৰ ঈশ্বৰ হ’ম, আৰু তোমালোক মোৰ প্ৰজা হ’বা; আৰু যি পথত চলিবলৈ মই তোমালোকক আজ্ঞা কৰোঁ, তোমালোকৰ ভালৰ অৰ্থে তোমালোকে সেই পথত চলা।
24 Yet they did not listen or incline their ear, but they followed the stubborn inclinations of their own evil hearts. They went backward and not forward.
২৪কিন্তু তেওঁলোকে নুশুনি কাণ নাপাতি নিজৰ মন্ত্ৰণা আৰু দুষ্ট মনৰ কঠিনতা অনুসাৰে চলিলে আৰু আগ নাবাঢ়ি পাছ হুহঁকিল।
25 From the day your fathers came out of the land of Egypt until this day, I have sent you all My servants the prophets again and again.
২৫তোমালোকৰ পূৰ্বপুৰুষসকল মিচৰ দেশৰ পৰা ওলাই অহা দিনৰে পৰা আজিলৈকে, মই প্ৰতি প্ৰভাতে উঠি, সদায় মোৰ সকলো দাস ভাববাদীসকলক তোমালোকৰ ওচৰলৈ পঠাই আছোঁ।
26 Yet they would not listen to Me or incline their ear, but they stiffened their necks and did more evil than their fathers.
২৬তথাপি তেওঁলোকে মোৰ বাক্যলৈ মন নিদিলে, আনকি কাণো নাপাতিলে; কিন্তু নিজ নিজ ডিঙি ঠৰ কৰিলে, নিজৰ পূৰ্বপুৰুষসকলতকৈয়ো অধিক কু-আচৰণ কৰিলে।
27 When you tell them all these things, they will not listen to you. When you call to them, they will not answer.
২৭তুমি তেওঁলোকক এই আটাইবোৰ কথা ক’বা, কিন্তু তেওঁলোকে তোমাৰ কথা নুশুনিব; আৰু তুমি তেওঁলোকক মাতিব, কিন্তু তেওঁলোকে তোমাক উত্তৰ নিদিব।
28 Therefore you must say to them, ‘This is the nation that would not listen to the voice of the LORD their God and would not receive correction. Truth has perished; it has disappeared from their lips.
২৮তেতিয়া তুমি তেওঁলোকক ক’বা, ‘এয়ে নিজ ঈশ্বৰ যিহোৱাৰ বাক্য নুশুনা বা শাস্তি গ্ৰহণ নকৰা জাতি; বিশ্বস্ততা নষ্ট হ’ল, আৰু এওঁলোকৰ মুখৰ পৰা তাক দূৰ কৰা হ’ল!
29 Cut off your hair and throw it away. Raise up a lamentation on the barren heights, for the LORD has rejected and forsaken the generation of His wrath.’
২৯হে যিৰূচালেম তোমাৰ চুলি কাটি পেলাই দিয়া; আৰু গছ-শূন্য পৰ্ব্বতবোৰত উঠি বিলাপ কৰা। কিয়নো যিহোৱাই নিজ ক্ৰোধৰ পাত্ৰ এই বংশক অগ্ৰাহ্য কৰিলে, পৰিত্যাগ কৰিলে।
30 For the people of Judah have done evil in My sight, declares the LORD. They have set up their abominations in the house that bears My Name, and so have defiled it.
৩০কিয়নো, যিহোৱাই কৈছে, মোৰ সাক্ষাতে যি কুচ্ছিত, যিহূদাৰ সন্তান সকলে তাকেই কৰিলে। মোৰ নামেৰে প্ৰখ্যাত হোৱা গৃহটি অশুচি কৰিবৰ অৰ্থে তেওঁলোকে তাৰ ভিতৰত নিজৰ ঘিণলগীয়া বস্তুবোৰ ৰাখিলে।
31 They have built the high places of Topheth in the Valley of Hinnom so they could burn their sons and daughters in the fire—something I never commanded, nor did it even enter My mind.
৩১আৰু তেওঁলোকৰ পো-জীসকলক জুইত পুৰিবলৈ হিন্নোমৰ পুতেকৰ উপত্যকাত থকা তোফতৰ ওখ ঠাইবোৰ সাজিলে, ইয়াক মই আজ্ঞা কৰা নাছিলোঁ। আৰু এই বিষয় মোৰ মনত উদয়ো হোৱা নাছিল।
32 So behold, the days are coming, declares the LORD, when this place will no longer be called Topheth and the Valley of Hinnom, but the Valley of Slaughter. For they will bury the dead in Topheth until there is no more room.
৩২যিহোৱাই কৈছে, এই হেতুকে চোৱা, যি দিনা সেই ঠাই তোফত বা হিন্নোমৰ পুতেকৰ উপত্যকা বুলি প্ৰখ্যাত নহব, কিন্তু হত্যাৰ উপত্যকা বুলি প্ৰখ্যাত হব, এনে দিন আহিছে; কাৰণ সেইদিনা তোমালোকে তোফতত পুতিবলৈ ঠাই নোহোৱালৈকে তাত মৰা শৱ পুতি থাকিব।
33 The corpses of this people will become food for the birds of the air and the beasts of the earth, and there will be no one to scare them away.
৩৩তেতিয়া এই জাতিৰ শৱ আকাশৰ চৰাইৰ আৰু পৃথিৱীৰ জন্তুবোৰৰ আহাৰ হ’ব, সেইবোৰক কোনেও ভয় দেখুৱাই বাধা দিব নোৱাৰিব।
34 I will remove from the cities of Judah and the streets of Jerusalem the sounds of joy and gladness and the voices of the bride and bridegroom, for the land will become a wasteland.”
৩৪তেতিয়া মই যিহূদাৰ নগৰবোৰৰ পৰা আৰু যিৰূচালেমৰ আলিবোৰৰ পৰা উল্লাসৰ ধ্বনি, আনন্দৰ ধ্বনি আৰু দৰা-কন্যাৰ ধ্বনি লুপ্ত কৰিম; কিয়নো এই দেশ উচ্ছন্ন ঠাই হ’ব।’
