Jeremiah 49

1 Concerning the Ammonites, this is what the LORD says: “Has Israel no sons? Is he without heir? Why then has Milcom taken possession of Gad? Why have his people settled in their cities?

ಅಮ್ಮೋನ್ಯರನ್ನು ಕುರಿತದ್ದು: ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾರೆ: “ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿಗೆ ಪುತ್ರರಿಲ್ಲವೋ? ಅವನಿಗೆ ಬಾಧ್ಯಸ್ಥನಿಲ್ಲವೋ? ಮಲ್ಕಾಮ್ ದೇವತೆಯು ಗಾದನ್ನು ಬಾಧ್ಯವಾಗಿ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದು ಏಕೆ? ಅವನ ಜನರು ಅದರ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಮಾಡುವುದು ಏಕೆ?

2 Therefore, behold, the days are coming, declares the LORD, when I will sound the battle cry against Rabbah of the Ammonites. It will become a heap of ruins, and its villages will be burned. Then Israel will drive out their dispossessors, says the LORD.

ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ಇಗೋ, ದಿನಗಳು ಬರುವುವು,” ಎಂದು ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾರೆ. “ಆಗ ನಾನು ಅಮ್ಮೋನನ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ರಬ್ಬಾದಲ್ಲಿ ಯುದ್ಧದ ಆರ್ಭಟವನ್ನು ಕೇಳುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡುವೆನು; ಅದು ಹಾಳು ದಿಬ್ಬವಾಗುವುದು; ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಸೇರಿದ ಗ್ರಾಮಗಳು ಬೆಂಕಿಯಿಂದ ಸುಟ್ಟುಹೋಗುವುವು. ಆಗ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲು ತನ್ನ ಬಾಧ್ಯಸ್ಥರ ಬಾಧ್ಯವನ್ನು ಹೊಂದುವುದು,” ಎಂದು ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾರೆ.

3 Wail, O Heshbon, for Ai has been destroyed; cry out, O daughters of Rabbah! Put on sackcloth and mourn; run back and forth within your walls, for Milcom will go into exile together with his priests and officials.

“ಹೆಷ್ಬೋನೇ ಗೋಳಾಡು; ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಆಯಿ ಎಂಬ ನಗರ ಹಾಳಾಯಿತು; ರಬ್ಬಾದ ನಿವಾಸಿಗಳೇ ಗೋಳಾಡಿರಿ; ಗೋಣಿತಟ್ಟನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ; ಪ್ರಲಾಪಿಸಿರಿ, ಬೇಲಿಗಳ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅತ್ತಿತ್ತ ಓಡಾಡಿರಿ; ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಮಲ್ಕಾಮ್ ದೇವತೆ, ಅವನ ಯಾಜಕರು, ಅವನ ಪ್ರಧಾನರು ಒಟ್ಟಾಗಿ ಸೆರೆಗೆ ಹೋಗುವರು.

4 Why do you boast of your valleys— your valleys so fruitful, O faithless daughter? You trust in your riches and say, ‘Who can come against me?’

ಹಿಂದಿರುಗು, ಹಿಂಜರಿದು ಹೋದ ಮಗಳೇ, ನನ್ನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬರುವವರು ಯಾರೆಂದು ಹೇಳಿ, ನಿನ್ನ ಬೊಕ್ಕಸಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನಂಬಿಕೆ ಇಟ್ಟವಳೇ, ನಿನ್ನ ತಗ್ಗು ಹರಿದು ಹೋಗುತ್ತದಲ್ಲಾ? ತಗ್ಗುಗಳ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿ ಏಕೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚಳ ಪಡುತ್ತೀ?

5 Behold, I am about to bring terror upon you, declares the Lord GOD of Hosts, from all those around you. You will each be driven headlong, with no one to regather the fugitives.

ಇಗೋ, ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನ ಸುತ್ತಲಿರುವವರೆಲ್ಲರಿಂದ ನಿನ್ನ ಮೇಲೆ ಭಯವನ್ನು ಬರಮಾಡುವೆನು,” ಎಂದು ಸೇನಾಧೀಶ್ವರ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಅನ್ನುತ್ತಾರೆ. “ಆಗ ನಿಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬನನ್ನೂ ಅಟ್ಟಲಾಗುವುದು; ಓಡಿಹೋದವರನ್ನು ಕೂಡಿಸುವವನು ಒಬ್ಬನೂ ಇರುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.

6 Yet afterward I will restore the Ammonites from captivity,” declares the LORD.

“ತರುವಾಯ ಅಮ್ಮೋನನ ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನು ಸೆರೆಯಿಂದ ತಿರುಗಿ ತರುವೆನು,” ಎಂದು ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾರೆ.

7 Concerning Edom, this is what the LORD of Hosts says: “Is there no longer wisdom in Teman? Has counsel perished from the prudent? Has their wisdom decayed?

ಎದೋಮ್ಯರನ್ನು ಕುರಿತದ್ದು: ಸೇನಾಧೀಶ್ವರ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾರೆ. “ತೇಮಾನ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿ ಇನ್ನು ಮೇಲೆ ಜ್ಞಾನವಿರುವುದಿಲ್ಲವೋ? ವಿವೇಕಿಗಳಿಂದ ಆಲೋಚನೆಯು ನಾಶವಾಯಿತೋ? ಅವರ ಜ್ಞಾನವು ಕ್ಷೀಣಿಸಿದೆಯೇ?

8 Turn and run! Lie low, O dwellers of Dedan, for I will bring disaster on Esau at the time I punish him.

ದೇದಾನಿನ ನಿವಾಸಿಗಳೇ, ಓಡಿಹೋಗಿರಿ; ತಿರುಗಿಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ; ಆಳವಾದ ಗುಹೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಮಾಡಿರಿ; ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಏಸಾವನ ಆಪತ್ತನ್ನೂ, ನಾನು ಅವನನ್ನು ಶಿಕ್ಷಿಸುವ ಕಾಲವನ್ನೂ ಅವನ ಮೇಲೆ ಬರಮಾಡುತ್ತೇನೆ.

9 If grape gatherers came to you, would they not leave some gleanings? Were thieves to come in the night, would they not steal only what they wanted?

ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಿ ಕೀಳುವವರು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದರೆ ಸ್ವಲ್ಪ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಿಯನ್ನು ಬಿಡುವುದಿಲ್ಲವೇ? ಕಳ್ಳರು ರಾತ್ರಿ ವೇಳೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನುಗ್ಗಿದರೆ ತಮಗೆ ಸಾಕಾಗುವವರೆಗೂ ಕದಿಯುವುದಿಲ್ಲವೇ?

10 But I will strip Esau bare; I will uncover his hiding places, and he will be unable to conceal himself. His descendants will be destroyed along with his relatives and neighbors, and he will be no more.

ಆದರೆ ನಾನು ಏಸಾವನನ್ನು ಬರಿದು ಮಾಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ; ಅದರ ರಹಸ್ಯ ಸ್ಥಳಗಳನ್ನು ತೆರೆದಿದ್ದೇನೆ; ಅವನು ತನ್ನನ್ನು ತಾನೇ ಅಡಗಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಾರನು; ಅವನ ಸಂತಾನವು ಹಾಳಾಯಿತು; ಅವನ ಸಹೋದರರೂ, ಅವನ ನೆರೆಯವರೂ, ಅವನೂ ಇಲ್ಲವಾದರು.

11 Abandon your orphans; I will preserve their lives. Let your widows trust in Me.”

ನಿನ್ನ ದಿಕ್ಕಿಲ್ಲದ ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನು ಬಿಡು. ನಾನೇ ರಕ್ಷಿಸುವೆನು. ನಿನ್ನ ವಿಧವೆಯರು ನನ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ನಂಬಿಕೆ ಇಡಲಿ.”

12 For this is what the LORD says: “If those who do not deserve to drink the cup must drink it, can you possibly remain unpunished? You will not go unpunished, for you must drink it too.

ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾರೆ: “ಇಗೋ, ಪಾತ್ರೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕುಡಿಯುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಯಾರಿಗೆ ನ್ಯಾಯ ತೀರ್ವಿಕೆ ಆಗಲಿಲ್ಲವೋ, ಅವರು ಸಹ ಕುಡಿದಿದ್ದಾರೆ; ಹಾಗಾದರೆ ನೀನು ಶುದ್ಧವಾಗಿ ಶಿಕ್ಷಿಸದೆ ಹೋಗಬೇಕು? ನೀವು ಶಿಕ್ಷಿಸದೆ ಹೋಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲ, ನಿಶ್ಚಯವಾಗಿ ಕುಡಿಯುವೆ.

13 For by Myself I have sworn, declares the LORD, that Bozrah will become a desolation, a disgrace, a ruin, and a curse, and all her cities will be in ruins forever.”

ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಬೊಚ್ರವು ಹಾಳೂ ನಿಂದೆಯೂ ಅಡವಿಯೂ ಶಾಪವೂ ಆಗುವುದೆಂದೂ ಅದರ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳೆಲ್ಲಾ ಎಂದೆಂದಿಗೂ ಅಡವಿ ಸ್ಥಳಗಳಾಗುವುವೆಂದೂ, ನನ್ನ ಮೇಲೆ ಪ್ರಮಾಣ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ,” ಎಂದು ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಅನ್ನುತ್ತಾರೆ.

14 I have heard a message from the LORD; an envoy has been sent to the nations: “Assemble yourselves to march against her! Rise up for battle!”

ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರಿಂದ ನಾನು ಸುದ್ದಿಯನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ಅವರು ದೂತನ ಮೂಲಕ ಜನಾಂಗಗಳಿಗೆ ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳಿ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ; “ನೀವು ಒಟ್ಟುಗೂಡಿಕೊಂಡು ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಬನ್ನಿರಿ, ಯುದ್ಧಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಏಳಿರಿ!”

15 “For behold, I will make you small among nations, despised among men.

“ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಇಗೋ, ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಜನಾಂಗಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಅತ್ಯಲ್ಪನನ್ನಾಗಿಯೂ, ಜನರ ತಿರಸ್ಕಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಈಡಾಗುವಂತೆಯೂ ಮಾಡುವೆನು.

16 The terror you cause and the pride of your heart have deceived you, O dwellers in the clefts of the rocks, O occupiers of the mountain summit. Though you elevate your nest like the eagle, even from there I will bring you down,”

ಬಂಡೆಯ ಬಿರುಕುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಮಾಡುವವನೇ, ಉನ್ನತದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿವಾಸಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡವನೇ, ನಿನ್ನ ಭಯಂಕರವೂ ನಿನ್ನ ಹೃದಯದ ಗರ್ವವೂ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಮೋಸಗೊಳಿಸಿದೆ. ನೀನು ಹದ್ದಿನಂತೆ ನಿನ್ನ ಗೂಡನ್ನು ಎತ್ತರ ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಟ್ಟಿದರೂ, ಅಲ್ಲಿಂದ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಇಳಿಸುವೆನು,” ಎಂದು ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾರೆ.

17 “Edom will become an object of horror. All who pass by will be appalled and will scoff at all her wounds.

“ಎದೋಮು ಸಹ ಹಾಳಾಗುವುದು; ಅದರ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹಾದುಹೋಗುವವರೆಲ್ಲರು ಅದರ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಬಾಧೆಗಳ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ ವಿಸ್ಮಯಪಟ್ಟು, ಅಪಹಾಸ್ಯ ಮಾಡುವರು.

18 As Sodom and Gomorrah were overthrown along with their neighbors,” says the LORD, “no one will dwell there; no man will abide there.

ನಾನು ಕೆಡವಿದ ಸೊದೋಮ್ ಗೊಮೋರ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ, ಅವುಗಳ ಸುತ್ತಣ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಹೇಗೋ ಹಾಗೆಯೇ, ಎದೋಮಿನಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಯಾರೂ ವಾಸಮಾಡುವುದಿಲ್ಲ; ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾವ ನರಪ್ರಾಣಿಯೂ ತಂಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲ,” ಎಂದು ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾರೆ.

19 Behold, one will come up like a lion from the thickets of the Jordan to the watered pasture. For in an instant I will chase Edom from her land. Who is the chosen one I will appoint for this? For who is like Me, and who can challenge Me? What shepherd can stand against Me?”

“ಇಗೋ, ಅವನು ಸಿಂಹದ ಹಾಗೆ ಯೊರ್ದನಿನ ದಟ್ಟ ಅಡವಿಯಿಂದ ಬಲವಾದ ಗೋಮಾಳಕ್ಕೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಏರಿ ಬರುವನು; ಆದರೆ ನಾನು ಕ್ಷಣಮಾತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರನ್ನು ಅಲ್ಲಿಂದ ದೂರವಾಗಿ ಓಡಿಸಿಬಿಡುವೆನು. ಅದನ್ನು ಕಾಯುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ನಾನು ಆರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡವನನ್ನೇ ನೇಮಿಸುವೆನು. ನನಗೆ ಸಮಾನನು ಯಾರು? ನನ್ನನ್ನು ನ್ಯಾಯವಿಚಾರಣೆಗೆ ಕರೆಯುವವನು ಯಾರು? ನನಗೆ ಎದುರಾಗಿ ನಿಲ್ಲತಕ್ಕ ಕುರುಬನು ಯಾರು?”

20 Therefore hear the plans that the LORD has drawn up against Edom and the strategies He has devised against the people of Teman: Surely the little ones of the flock will be dragged away; certainly their pasture will be made desolate because of them.

ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಎದೋಮಿಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಿದ ಆಲೋಚನೆಯನ್ನೂ, ತೇಮಾನಿನ ನಿವಾಸಿಗಳಿಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಿದ ಯೋಜನೆಗಳನ್ನೂ ಕೇಳಿರಿ. ಕಾಡುಮೃಗಗಳು ನಿಶ್ಚಯವಾಗಿ, ಹಿಂಡಿನ ಮರಿಗಳನ್ನು ಎಳೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗುವುವು. ಖಂಡಿತವಾಗಿ, ಹುಲ್ಲುಗಾವಲು ಅವುಗಳ ನಾಶನಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಬೆದರುವುದು.

21 At the sound of their fall the earth will quake; their cry will resound to the Red Sea.

ಎದೋಮ್ಯರು ತಟ್ಟನೆ ಬೀಳುವ ಶಬ್ದದಿಂದ ಭೂಮಿಯು ಕಂಪಿಸುವುದು. ಆಗ ಉಂಟಾಗುವ ಗೋಳು ಕೆಂಪು ಸಮುದ್ರದವರೆಗೂ ಪ್ರತಿಧ್ವನಿಸುವುದು.

22 Look! An eagle will soar and swoop down, spreading its wings over Bozrah. In that day the hearts of Edom’s mighty men will be like the heart of a woman in labor.

ಇಗೋ, ಅವನು ಹದ್ದಿನಂತೆ ಹಾರುವನು; ಬೊಚ್ರದ ಮೇಲೆ ತನ್ನ ರೆಕ್ಕೆಗಳನ್ನು ಚಾಚುವನು; ಎದೋಮಿನ ಪರಾಕ್ರಮಶಾಲಿಗಳು ಹೃದಯವು ಆ ದಿವಸದಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಸವ ವೇದನೆಯುಳ್ಳ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯ ಹೃದಯದ ಹಾಗೆ ಇರುವುದು.

23 Concerning Damascus: “Hamath and Arpad are put to shame, for they have heard a bad report; they are agitated like the sea; their anxiety cannot be calmed.

ದಮಸ್ಕದ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿ: “ಹಮಾತ್ ಮತ್ತು ಅರ್ಪಾದ್ ನಗರಗಳು ಆಶಾಭಂಗಗೊಂಡಿವೆ, ಅವು ಕೆಟ್ಟ ಸುದ್ದಿಯನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿ ಅಧೈರ್ಯಪಟ್ಟಿವೆ; ಸಮುದ್ರದಂತೆ ಕಳವಳಪಡುತ್ತದೆ; ಅದು ಸುಮ್ಮನಿರಲಾರದು.

24 Damascus has become feeble; she has turned to flee. Panic has gripped her; anguish and pain have seized her like a woman in labor.

ದಮಸ್ಕವು ನಿತ್ರಾಣವಾಯಿತು; ಓಡಿಹೋಗುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ತಿರುಗಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತದೆ; ಭಯವು ಅದನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿದುಕೊಂಡಿದೆ; ಹೆರುವ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯ ಹಾಗೆ ಸಂಕಟವೂ, ವೇದನೆಗಳೂ ಅದನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿದಿವೆ.

25 How is the city of praise not forsaken, the town that brings Me joy?

ಹೊಗಳಿಕೆಯ ಪಟ್ಟಣವೂ ನನ್ನ ಸಂತೋಷದ ಪಟ್ಟಣವೂ ಬಿಡಲಾಗಿದೆ ಅಲ್ಲವೋ?

26 For her young men will fall in the streets, and all her warriors will be silenced in that day,”

ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ಅದರ ಯೌವನಸ್ಥರು ಅದರ ಚೌಕಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಬೀಳುವರು; ಯುದ್ಧಭಟರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಆ ದಿವಸದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಡಿದುಹಾಕಲಾಗುವರು,” ಎಂದು ಸೇನಾಧೀಶ್ವರ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾರೆ.

27 “I will set fire to the walls of Damascus; it will consume the fortresses of Ben-hadad.”

“ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ನಾನು ದಮಸ್ಕದ ಗೋಡೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬೆಂಕಿಯನ್ನು ಹಚ್ಚುತ್ತೇನೆ; ಅದು ಬೆನ್ಹದದನ ಅರಮನೆಗಳನ್ನು ತಿಂದುಬಿಡುವುದು.”

28 Concerning Kedar and the kingdoms of Hazor, which Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon defeated, this is what the LORD says: “Rise up, advance against Kedar, and destroy the people of the east!

ಬಾಬಿಲೋನಿನ ಅರಸನಾದ ನೆಬೂಕದ್ನೆಚ್ಚರನು ದಾಳಿಮಾಡಿದ ಕೇದಾರ್ ಹಾಗೂ ಹಾಚೋರ್ ರಾಜ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಕುರಿತದ್ದು: ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾರೆ, “ಏಳಿರಿ, ಕೇದಾರಿನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಏರಿ ಹೋಗಿರಿ. ಪೂರ್ವದಿಕ್ಕಿನ ಮನುಷ್ಯರನ್ನು ಸುಲಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ.

29 They will take their tents and flocks, their tent curtains and all their goods. They will take their camels for themselves. They will shout to them: ‘Terror is on every side!’

ಅವರ ಗುಡಾರಗಳನ್ನೂ, ಅವರ ಮಂದೆಗಳನ್ನೂ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವರು. ಅವರ ಗುಡಾರದ ಪರದೆಗಳನ್ನೂ, ಅವರ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಸಾಮಾನುಗಳನ್ನೂ, ಅವರ ಒಂಟೆಗಳನ್ನೂ ವಶಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವರು; ಸುತ್ತಲೂ ಭಯ, ಎಂದು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಕೂಗುವರು.

30 Run! Escape quickly! Lie low, O residents of Hazor,” declares the LORD, “for Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon has drawn up a plan against you; he has devised a strategy against you.

“ಹಾಚೋರಿನ ನಿವಾಸಿಗಳೇ, ಓಡಿಹೋಗಿರಿ, ದೂರಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಬಿಡಿರಿ, ಆಳವಾದ ಗುಹೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸವಾಗಿರಿ,” ಎಂದು ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಬಾಬಿಲೋನಿನ ಅರಸನಾದ ನೆಬೂಕದ್ನೆಚ್ಚರನು ನಿಮಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಒಳಸಂಚು ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾನೆ; ನಿಮಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಯೋಜನೆಯನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾನೆ.

31 Rise up, advance against a nation at ease, one that dwells securely,” declares the LORD. “They have no gates or bars; they live alone.

“ಏಳಿರಿ, ಭದ್ರವಾಗಿ ವಾಸಿಸುವ ಸುಖವುಳ್ಳ ಜನಾಂಗದ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಹೋಗಿರಿ,” ಎಂದು ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾರೆ. “ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಬಾಗಿಲುಗಳು ಇಲ್ಲ; ಅಗುಳಿಗಳು ಇಲ್ಲ; ಅದರ ಜನರು ಅಪಾಯದಿಂದ ದೂರ ವಾಸಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ.

32 Their camels will become plunder, and their large herds will be spoil. I will scatter to the wind in every direction those who shave their temples; I will bring calamity on them from all sides,”

ಅವರ ಒಂಟೆಗಳು ಕೊಳ್ಳೆಯಾಗುವುವು; ಅವರ ದನಗಳ ಸಮೂಹವು ಸುಲಿಗೆಯಾಗುವುದು; ಕಟ್ಟಕಡೆಯ ಮೂಲೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಇರುವವರನ್ನು ಎಲ್ಲಾ ದಿಕ್ಕುಗಳಿಗೂ ಚದರಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ; ಸರ್ವಕಡೆಯಿಂದ ಅವರ ಮೇಲೆ ಆಪತ್ತನ್ನು ತರಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ,” ಎಂದು ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾರೆ.

33 “Hazor will become a haunt for jackals, a desolation forever. No one will dwell there; no man will abide there.”

ಹಾಚೋರು ನರಿಗಳ ನಿವಾಸವೂ, ಎಂದೆಂದಿಗೂ ಹಾಳಾದ ಸ್ಥಳವೂ ಆಗುವುದು. ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾವನಾದರೂ ವಾಸಮಾಡುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ಯಾವ ನರಪುತ್ರನಾದರೂ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ತಂಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.

34 This is the word of the LORD that came to Jeremiah the prophet concerning Elam at the beginning of the reign of Zedekiah king of Judah.

ಯೆಹೂದದ ಅರಸನಾದ ಚಿದ್ಕೀಯನ ಆಳ್ವಿಕೆಯ ಆರಂಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರವಾದಿಯಾದ ಯೆರೆಮೀಯನಿಗೆ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರಿಂದ ಏಲಾಮಿಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಉಂಟಾದ ವಾಕ್ಯವು:

35 This is what the LORD of Hosts says: “Behold, I will shatter Elam’s bow, the mainstay of their might.

ಸೇನಾಧೀಶ್ವರ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾರೆ, “ಇಗೋ, ನಾನು ಏಲಾಮಿನ ಬಿಲ್ಲನ್ನೂ, ಅವರ ಪರಾಕ್ರಮವನ್ನೂ, ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠತ್ವವನ್ನೂ ಮುರಿಯುತ್ತೇನೆ

36 I will bring the four winds against Elam from the four corners of the heavens, and I will scatter them to all these winds. There will not be a nation to which Elam’s exiles will not go.

ಆಕಾಶದ ನಾಲ್ಕು ದಿಕ್ಕುಗಳಿಂದ ಏಲಾಮಿನ ಮೇಲೆ ನಾಲ್ಕು ಗಾಳಿಗಳನ್ನು ತಂದು, ಅವರನ್ನು ಆ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ದಿಕ್ಕುಗಳ ಕಡೆಗೆ ಚದರಿಸುವೆನು; ಏಲಾಮಿನಿಂದ ಓಡಿಸಲಾದವರು ಸೇರದ ಜನಾಂಗವು ಇರುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.

37 So I will shatter Elam before their foes, before those who seek their lives. I will bring disaster upon them, even My fierce anger,” declares the LORD. “I will send out the sword after them until I finish them off.

ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಏಲಾಮನ್ನು ಅವರ ಶತ್ರುಗಳ ಮುಂದೆಯೂ, ಅವರ ಪ್ರಾಣವನ್ನು ಹುಡುಕುವವರ ಮುಂದೆಯೂ ಹೆದರುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡುವೆನು; ಅವರ ಮೇಲೆ ಕೇಡನ್ನೂ, ನನ್ನ ಕೋಪದ ಉಗ್ರವನ್ನೂ ಬರಮಾಡುವೆನು,” ಎಂದು ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾರೆ. “ಅವನನ್ನು ಮುಗಿಸಿಬಿಡುವವರೆಗೆ ಖಡ್ಗವನ್ನು ಅವರ ಹಿಂದೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸುವೆನು.

38 I will set My throne in Elam, and destroy its king and officials,”

ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಏಲಾಮಿನಲ್ಲಿ ನನ್ನ ಸಿಂಹಾಸನವನ್ನಿಟ್ಟು, ಅದರೊಳಗಿಂದ ಅರಸನನ್ನೂ, ಪ್ರಧಾನರನ್ನೂ ನಾಶಮಾಡುವೆನು,” ಎಂದು ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾರೆ.

39 “Yet in the last days, I will restore Elam from captivity,”

“ಆದಾಗ್ಯೂ ಅಂತ್ಯ ದಿವಸಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಆಗುವುದೇನೆಂದರೆ, ನಾನು ಏಲಾಮಿನ ಸಮೃದ್ಧಿಯನ್ನು ತಿರುಗಿ ತರುವೆನು,” ಎಂದು ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾರೆ.
