Jeremiah 45

1 This is the word that Jeremiah the prophet spoke to Baruch son of Neriah when he wrote these words on a scroll at the dictation of Jeremiah in the fourth year of Jehoiakim son of Josiah, king of Judah:

௧யோசியாவின் மகனாகிய யோயாக்கீம் என்னும் யூதா ராஜாவின் அரசாட்சியின் நான்காம் வருடத்தில் நேரியாவின் மகனாகிய பாருக் இந்த வசனங்களை எரேமியாவின் வாய் சொல்ல ஒரு புத்தகத்தில் எழுதும்போது, எரேமியா தீர்க்கதரிசி அவனிடத்தில் பேசி,

2 “This is what the LORD, the God of Israel, says to you, Baruch:

௨பாருக்கே, உன்னைக்குறித்து இஸ்ரவேலின் தேவனாகிய யெகோவா சொல்லுகிறது என்னவென்றால்,

3 You have said, ‘Woe is me because the LORD has added sorrow to my pain! I am worn out with groaning and have found no rest.’”

௩நீ: இப்பொழுது எனக்கு ஐயோ, யெகோவா என் வியாதியை சஞ்சலத்தால் பெருகச்செய்தார், என் தவிப்பினால் இளைத்தேன், இளைப்பாறுதலைக் காணாதேபோனேன் என்று சொன்னாய் என்கிறார்.

4 Thus Jeremiah was to say to Baruch: “This is what the LORD says: Throughout the land I will demolish what I have built and uproot what I have planted.

௪இதோ, நான் கட்டினதையே நான் இடிக்கிறேன்; நான் நாட்டினதையே நான் பிடுங்குகிறேன்; இந்த முழு தேசத்திற்கும் இப்படியே நடக்கும்.

5 But as for you, do you seek great things for yourself? Stop seeking! For I will bring disaster on every living creature, declares the LORD, but wherever you go, I will grant your life as a spoil of war.”

௫நீ உனக்குப் பெரிய காரியங்களைத் தேடுகிறாயோ? தேடாதே; இதோ, மாம்சமான அனைவர்மேலும் தீங்கை வரச்செய்கிறேன் என்று யெகோவா சொல்லுகிறார்; ஆனாலும், நீ போகும் எல்லா இடங்களிலும் உன் உயிரை உனக்குக் கிடைக்கும் கொள்ளைப்பொருளாகத் தருகிறேன் என்று யெகோவா சொல்லுகிறார் என்று அவனுடன் சொல் என்றார்.
