Jeremiah 35
1 This is the word that came to Jeremiah from the LORD in the days of Jehoiakim son of Josiah king of Judah:
१यहूदाचा राजा योशीयाचा मुलगा यहोयाकीम याच्या दिवसात यिर्मयाला परमेश्वराकडून वचन आले ते हे आहे. ते म्हणाले,
2 “Go to the house of the Rechabites, speak to them, and bring them to one of the chambers of the house of the LORD to offer them a drink of wine.”
२“रेखाब्याच्या घराण्याकडे जा आणि त्यांच्याशी बोल. मग त्यांना माझ्या घरातील एका खोलीत आण आणि त्यांना पिण्यास मद्य दे.”
3 So I took Jaazaniah son of Jeremiah, the son of Habazziniah, and his brothers and all his sons—the entire house of the Rechabites—
३म्हणून मी हबसिन्याचा मुलगा यिर्मया याचा मुलगा याजना आणि त्याच्या भावांना व सर्व मुलांना आणि रेखाब्याच्या सर्व घराण्याला घेतले.
4 and I brought them into the house of the LORD, to a chamber occupied by the sons of Hanan son of Igdaliah, a man of God. This room was near the chamber of the officials, which was above the chamber of Maaseiah son of Shallum the doorkeeper.
४मी त्यांना परमेश्वराच्या मंदिरात, देवाचा मनुष्य इग्दल्याचा मुलगा हानान याच्या खोलीत आणले. या खोल्या शल्लुमाचा मुलगा मासेया द्वारपाल, याच्या बाजूच्या खोलीच्या वर असलेल्या नेत्यांची होती.
5 Then I set pitchers full of wine and some cups before the men of the house of the Rechabites, and I said to them, “Drink some wine.”
५नंतर मी रेखाब्यांसमोर द्राक्षरसाने भरलेले कटोरे व पेले ठेवले आणि त्यांना म्हणालो, “थोडा द्राक्षरस प्या.”
6 “We do not drink wine,” they replied, “for our forefather Jonadab son of Rechab commanded us, ‘Neither you nor your descendants are ever to drink wine.
६पण ते म्हणाले, “आम्ही द्राक्षरस पिणार नाही, कारण आमचे पूर्वज, रेखाब यांचा मुलगा योनादाब, यांने आम्हास आज्ञा दिली, ‘तुम्ही आणि तुमच्या वंशजांनी सर्वकाळपर्यंत कोणताही द्राक्षरस पिऊ नये.’
7 Nor are you ever to build a house or sow seed or plant a vineyard. Those things are not for you. Instead, you must live in tents all your lives, so that you may live a long time in the land where you wander.’
७शिवाय कोणतेही घरे बांधू नका, कोणतेही बी पेरु नका, किंवा कोणतेही द्राक्षमळे लावू नका. हे तुमच्यासाठी नाहीत. तर तुम्ही आपल्या सर्व दिवसात तंबूत राहिले पाहिजे, याकरीता ज्या देशात तुम्ही परदेशी आहात त्यामध्ये दीर्घकाळ जगावे.
8 And we have obeyed the voice of our forefather Jonadab son of Rechab in all he commanded us. So we have not drunk wine all our lives—neither we nor our wives nor our sons and daughters.
८आमचा पूर्वज रेखाब याचा मुलगा योनादाब याची वाणी आम्ही पाळत आलो आहोत, त्यामध्ये आम्ही आमच्या स्त्रिया, आमची मुले, आणि आमच्या मुलींनी आपल्या सर्व दिवसात द्राक्षरस पिऊ नये अशी आज्ञा त्याने आम्हास दिली आहे.
9 Nor have we built houses in which to live, and we have not owned any vineyards or fields or crops.
९आणि आम्ही त्यामध्ये राहण्यासाठी कधीही घरे बांधीत नाही आणि तेथे आमच्या स्वत: च्या मालकीची शेते व द्राक्षमळे नाहीत.
10 But we have lived in tents and have obeyed and done exactly as our forefather Jonadab commanded us.
१०आम्ही तंबूत राहतो आणि ऐकतो व आमचा पूर्वज योनादाब यांने आम्हास सर्व आज्ञापिल्याप्रमाणे वागत आलो.
11 So when Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon marched into the land, we said: ‘Come, let us go into Jerusalem to escape the armies of the Chaldeans and the Arameans.’ So we have remained in Jerusalem.”
११पण जेव्हा बाबेलचा राजा नबुखद्नेस्सर ह्याने देशावर हल्ला केल्यावर, आम्ही म्हणालो, खास्द्यांच्या व अराम्यांच्या सैन्यापासून आपण यरूशलेमेला निसटून जाऊ. म्हणून आम्ही यरूशलेमेमध्ये राहत आहोत.”
12 Then the word of the LORD came to Jeremiah:
१२मग यिर्मयाकडे परमेश्वराचे वचन आले आणि म्हणाले,
13 “This is what the LORD of Hosts, the God of Israel, says: Go and tell the men of Judah and the residents of Jerusalem: ‘Will you not accept discipline and obey My words?’ declares the LORD.
१३सेनाधीश परमेश्वर, इस्राएलाचा देव, हे म्हणतो, “जा आणि यहूदातील मनुष्यांना व यरूशलेमेच्या रहीवाश्यांना सांग, तुम्ही माझी वचने ऐकूण आणि ती शासन स्विकारणार नाही का?” असे परमेश्वर म्हणतो.
14 The words of Jonadab son of Rechab have been carried out. He commanded his sons not to drink wine, and they have not drunk it to this very day because they have obeyed the command of their forefather. But I have spoken to you again and again, and you have not obeyed Me!
१४रेखाबाचा मुलगा योनादाब याने आपल्या मुलांना कोणताही द्राक्षरस पिऊ नका अशी आज्ञा दिली त्यांनी त्याचा शब्द आजपर्यंत पाळला. त्यांनी आपल्या पूर्वजांच्या आज्ञेचे पालन केले. पण मी स्वत: तुम्हास पुन्हा पुन्हा सांगत आलो, परंतु तुम्ही माझे ऐकले नाही.
15 Again and again I have sent you all My servants the prophets, proclaiming: ‘Turn now, each of you, from your wicked ways, and correct your actions. Do not go after other gods to serve them. Live in the land that I have given to you and your fathers.’ But you have not inclined your ear or listened to Me.
१५इस्राएल आणि यहूदा येथील लोकांकडे मी माझे सर्व सेवक, संदेष्टे पाठविले. मी त्यांना पुन्हा पुन्हा सांगण्यास पाठविले, प्रत्येक जण आपल्या दुष्ट मार्गापासून वळा आणि चांगली कृत्ये करा. दुसऱ्या देवांना अनुसरू नका आणि त्यांची पूजा करु नका. त्याऐवजी, तुमच्या पूर्वजांना व तुम्हास जो देश दिला आहे त्यामध्ये परत माघारी या. पण या लोकांनी माझे ऐकले नाही.
16 Yes, the sons of Jonadab son of Rechab carried out the command their forefather gave them, but these people have not listened to Me.
१६कारण रेखाबाचा मुलगा योनादाबाच्या वंशजांनी त्यांच्या पूर्वजांनी त्यांना दिलेल्या आज्ञा पाळल्या, पण या लोकांनी माझे ऐकण्याचे नाकारले.
17 Therefore this is what the LORD God of Hosts, the God of Israel, says: ‘Behold, I will bring to Judah and to all the residents of Jerusalem all the disaster I have pronounced against them, because I have spoken to them but they have not obeyed, and I have called to them but they have not answered.’”
१७म्हणून परमेश्वर, सैन्यांचा देव आणि इस्राएलाचा देव, असे म्हणतो, “पाहा, जे सर्व अरिष्ट मी त्यांच्याविरुद्ध आणणार म्हणून मी म्हणालो आहे, ते सर्व मी यहूदावर आणि यरूशलेमेच्या राहणाऱ्यांवर आणीन, कारण मी त्यांच्याशी बोललो तेव्हा त्यांनी ऐकण्याचे नाकारले. मी त्यांना हाका मारल्या पण त्यांनी उत्तर दिले नाही.”
18 Then Jeremiah said to the house of the Rechabites: “This is what the LORD of Hosts, the God of Israel, says: ‘Because you have obeyed the command of your forefather Jonadab and have kept all his commandments and have done all that he charged you to do,
१८यिर्मया रेखाबाच्या कुटुंबियांना म्हणाला, “सेनाधीश परमेश्वर, इस्राएलचा देव, असे म्हणतो, ‘तुम्ही आपला पूर्वज योनादाब ह्यांच्या आज्ञा ऐकल्या आणि त्या सर्व पाळल्या. जे त्याने करण्यास आज्ञापिले त्याप्रमाणे तुम्ही केले आहे.
19 this is what the LORD of Hosts, the God of Israel, says: Jonadab son of Rechab will never fail to have a man to stand before Me.’”
१९म्हणून सेनाधीश परमेश्वर, इस्राएलाचा देव, असे म्हणतो, रेखाबाचा मुलगा योनादाब याच्या वंशजांपैकी कोणीतरी एक नेहमीच माझ्या सेवेत राहील.”
