Isaiah 66
1 This is what the LORD says: “Heaven is My throne, and earth is My footstool. What kind of house will you build for Me? Or where will My place of repose be?
१परमेश्वर असे म्हणतो, “आकाश माझे सिंहासन आणि पृथ्वी पाय ठेवण्याचे आसन आहे. मग तुम्ही माझ्यासाठी कोठे घर बांधाल? मला विश्रांतीची जागा कुठे आहे?”
2 Has not My hand made all these things? And so they came into being,” declares the LORD. “This is the one I will esteem: he who is humble and contrite in spirit, who trembles at My word.
२“सर्व गोष्टी माझ्या हाताने निर्माण केल्या, या प्रकारे गोष्टी घडल्या आहेत.” परमेश्वर असे म्हणतो. “पण जो दीन व अनुतापी आत्म्याचा आहे, आणि माझ्या वचनाने थरथर कापतो अशा मनुष्यास मी मान्य करतो.”
3 Whoever slaughters an ox is like one who slays a man; whoever sacrifices a lamb is like one who breaks a dog’s neck; whoever presents a grain offering is like one who offers pig’s blood; whoever offers frankincense is like one who blesses an idol. Indeed, they have chosen their own ways and delighted in their abominations.
३जो यज्ञासाठी बैल कापतो तो मनुष्यघातकासारखा आहे, जो कोकऱ्याचा यज्ञ करतो तो कुत्र्याची मान तोडणाऱ्यासारखा आहे. जो अन्नार्पण अर्पितो तो डुकराचे रक्त अर्पणारा असा आहे, जो धूप जाळतो तो मूर्तीची स्तुती करणारा असा आहे, त्यांनी स्वत: आपले मार्ग निवडले आहेत आणि त्यांचा जीव त्याच्या अमंगळ पदार्थाच्या ठायी संतोष पावतो.
4 So I will choose their punishment and I will bring terror upon them, because I called and no one answered, I spoke and no one listened. But they did evil in My sight and chose that in which I did not delight.”
४अशाच प्रकारे मी त्यांची शिक्षा निवडेन. ते ज्या गोष्टींना फार भितात तिच त्यांच्यावर आणीन. कारण जेव्हा मी बोलावले तेव्हा कोणी उत्तर दिले नाही. जेव्हा मी बोललो तेव्हा त्यांनी ऐकले नाही, तर माझ्या दृष्टीने जे वाईट ते त्यांनी केले आणि ज्यात मला संतोष नाही ते त्यांनी निवडले.
5 You who tremble at His word, hear the word of the LORD: “Your brothers who hate you and exclude you because of My name have said, ‘Let the LORD be glorified that we may see your joy!’ But they will be put to shame.”
५जे तुम्ही परमेश्वराच्या वचनाने थरथर कापता ते तुम्ही त्याचे वचन ऐका, तुमच्या ज्या भावांनी तुमचा द्वेष केला, ज्यांनी माझ्या नावा करीता तुम्हास बाहेर टाकले आहे, ते म्हणाले की आम्ही तुमचा हर्ष पाहावा असा परमेश्वराचा महिमा होवो. पण ते लाजवले जातील.
6 Hear the uproar from the city; listen to the voice from the temple! It is the voice of the LORD, repaying His enemies what they deserve!
६नगरातून आणि मंदिरातून मोठा आवाज येत आहे. परमेश्वर शत्रूला शिक्षा करीत असल्याचा तो आवाज आहे.
7 “Before she was in labor, she gave birth; before she was in pain, she delivered a boy.
७“तिला कळा येण्यापुर्वीच ती प्रसूत झाली, तिला वेदना लागण्याच्या आधीच तिला पुरुषसंतान झाले.”
8 Who has heard of such as this? Who has seen such things? Can a country be born in a day or a nation be delivered in an instant? Yet as soon as Zion was in labor, she gave birth to her children.
८अशी गोष्ट कोणी ऐकली काय? कोणी अशी गोष्ट पाहिली आहे काय? एकाच दिवसात राष्ट्र जन्म घेते काय? एक राष्ट्र एका क्षणात स्थापन होईल का? कारण सियोन प्रसूतिवेदना पावली तेव्हाच ती आपली मुले प्रसवली.
9 Shall I bring a baby to the point of birth and not deliver it?” says the LORD. “Or will I who deliver close the womb?” says your God.
९परमेश्वर म्हणतो, मी आईला प्रसूतिच्या वेळेत आणून तिचे मुल जन्मविणार नाही काय? जो मी जन्मास आणतो तो मी गर्भस्थान बंद करीन काय? तुमचा देव असे म्हणतो.
10 Be glad for Jerusalem and rejoice over her, all who love her. Rejoice greatly with her, all who mourn over her,
१०यरूशलेमेवर प्रेम करणारे, तुम्ही सर्व तिच्याबरोबर हर्ष करा आणि तिच्यासाठी उल्लास करा. जे तुम्ही तिच्यासाठी शोक करता, ते तुम्ही सर्व तिच्याबरोबर आनंदाने हर्ष करा.
11 so that you may nurse and be satisfied at her comforting breasts; you may drink deeply and delight yourselves in her glorious abundance.
११कारण तुम्ही तिच्या सांत्वनांचे स्तन चोखून तृप्त व्हावे, आणि तिच्या महिम्याच्या विपूलतेचे दूध ओढून घेऊन संतुष्ट व्हावे.
12 For this is what the LORD says: “I will extend peace to her like a river, and the wealth of nations like a flowing stream; you will nurse and be carried on her arm, and bounced upon her knees.
१२परमेश्वर असे म्हणतो “मी तुमच्यावर नदीप्रमाणे हे वैभव पसरवेल, आणि पृथ्वीवरील सर्व राष्ट्रांच्या संपत्तीचा वाहणारा ओघ तुमच्या कडे येईल. तुम्ही ते चोखाल, तुम्ही कडेवर वाहिले जाल आणि मांड्यांवर खेळविले जाल.
13 As a mother comforts her son, so will I comfort you, and you will be consoled over Jerusalem.”
१३आई जशी मुलाला सांत्वन देते, तसा मी तुम्हास सांत्वन देईन, आणि यरूशलेमेत तुम्ही सांत्वन पावाल.”
14 When you see, you will rejoice, and you will flourish like grass; then the hand of the LORD will be revealed to His servants, but His wrath will be shown to His enemies.
१४तुम्ही हे पाहाल आणि तुमचे हृदय हर्ष पावेल, आणि हिरवळीप्रमाणे तुमचे हाडे नवी होतील. आणि परमेश्वराचा हात त्याच्या सेवकाकडे आहे हे कळेल, पण त्याच्या शत्रूंचा त्यास राग येईल.
15 For behold, the LORD will come with fire— His chariots are like a whirlwind— to execute His anger with fury and His rebuke with flames of fire.
१५कारण पाहा! परमेश्वर अग्नीसहीत येईल, आणि अग्नीद्वारे आपला क्रोध प्रकट करावा, आणि धमकीसोबत ज्वाला निघाव्यात म्हणून त्याचे रथ वावटळीसारखे होतील.
16 For by fire and by His sword, the LORD will execute judgment on all flesh, and many will be slain by the LORD.
१६कारण परमेश्वर अग्नीने आणि तलवारीने सर्व मनुष्यावर न्याय करेल. परमेश्वर मारले जातील ते खूप असतील.
17 “Those who consecrate and purify themselves to enter the groves—to follow one in the center of those who eat the flesh of swine and vermin and rats—will perish together,” declares the LORD.
१७जे डुकराचे मांस खातात व अमंगळ गोष्टी व उंदीर खाऊन, बागांच्यामध्ये झाडा खाली आपणाला पवित्र करतात आपणांस स्वच्छ करतात, ते एकत्र नाश होतील असे परमेश्वर म्हणतो.
18 “And I, knowing their deeds and thoughts, am coming to gather all nations and tongues, and they will come and see My glory.
१८कारण मला त्यांचे विचार आणि कल्पना ठाऊक आहेत. ती वेळ येणार आहे जेव्हा मी सर्व राष्ट्रांना व भाषांना एकत्र करीन. आणि ते येतील व माझे वैभव पाहतील.
19 I will establish a sign among them, and I will send survivors from among them to the nations—to Tarshish, Put, and the archers of Lud; to Tubal, Javan, and the islands far away who have not heard of My fame or seen My glory. So they will proclaim My glory among the nations.
१९काही लोकांवर मी खूण करीन. मी या वाचविलेल्या काही लोकांस तार्शीश, पूल, लूद (धनुर्धाऱ्यांचा देश), तुबाल, यवान आणि दूरदूरच्या द्वीपात, ज्यांनी माझी कीर्ती ऐकली नाही व माझे वैभव पाहिले नाही त्याच्याकडे पाठवीन. ते राष्ट्रांमध्ये माझे वैभव प्रकट करतील.
20 And they will bring all your brothers from all the nations as a gift to the LORD on horses and chariots and wagons, on mules and camels, to My holy mountain Jerusalem,” says the LORD, “just as the Israelites bring an offering in a clean vessel to the house of the LORD.”
२०आणि ते सर्व राष्ट्रांतून तुमच्या भावांना आणतील. ते त्यांना माझ्या पवित्र डोंगरावर, यरूशलेमेला, घोड्यांवरून, खेचरांवर, उंटावरून, रथांतून आणि गाड्यांतून आणतील. ते म्हणजे जणू काही इस्राएलाच्या लोकांनी निर्मळ तबकातून, परमेश्वराच्या मंदिरात आणलेले नजराणे असतील.
21 “And I will select some of them as priests and Levites,” says the LORD.
२१“ह्यातीलच काही लोकांस मी याजक व लेवी होण्यासाठी निवडीन.” परमेश्वर असे म्हणतो.
22 “For just as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, will endure before Me,” declares the LORD, “so your descendants and your name will endure.
२२कारण मी जे नवीन आकाशे व पृथ्वी निर्माण करीन, ती माझ्या समोर अक्षय राहतील. त्याचप्रमाणे तुमची नावे आणि मुले माझ्याबरोबर टिकून राहतील, परमेश्वर असे म्हणतो.
23 From one New Moon to another and from one Sabbath to another, all mankind will come to worship before Me,” says the LORD.
२३आणि एका महिन्या पासून दुसऱ्या महिन्या पर्यंत, एका शब्बाथापासून दुसऱ्या शब्बाथापर्यंत, सर्व लोक माझ्या समोर नमन करायला येत जातील, परमेश्वर असे म्हणतो.
24 “As they go forth, they will see the corpses of the men who have rebelled against Me; for their worm will never die, their fire will never be quenched, and they will be a horror to all mankind.”
२४“आणि ज्या मनुष्यांनी माझ्याविरूद्ध अपराध केला त्यांची प्रेते ते पाहातील, कारण त्यांचा किडा मरणार नाही आणि त्यांचा अग्नी कधी विझणार नाही. आणि ते मनुष्ये सर्व मनुष्यास घृणास्पद होतील.”
