Isaiah 65

1 “I revealed Myself to those who did not ask for Me; I was found by those who did not seek Me. To a nation that did not call My name, I said, ‘Here I am! Here I am!’

He estado listo para dar una respuesta a aquellos que no me hicieron la oración; Me he estado ofreciendo a los que no me buscaban; Dije: “Aquí estoy, aquí estoy, a una nación que no invocaba mi nombre”.

2 All day long I have held out My hands to an obstinate people who walk in the wrong path, who follow their own imaginations,

Todo el día mis manos se han extendido a un pueblo rebelde, que va por el camino del mal, según los propósitos de sus corazones;

3 to a people who continually provoke Me to My face, sacrificing in the gardens and burning incense on altars of brick,

Un pueblo que me provoca en mi propio rostro todos los días, haciendo ofrendas en los jardines y quemando perfumes sobre ladrillos.

4 sitting among the graves, spending nights in secret places, eating the meat of pigs and polluted broth from their bowls.

Que están sentados en los lugares de descanso de los muertos, y de noche están en los lugares secretos; que toman la carne de cerdo como alimento, y tienen caldos de las cosas repugnantes en sus ollas.

5 They say, ‘Keep to yourself; do not come near me, for I am holier than you!’ Such people are smoke in My nostrils, a fire that burns all day long.

Quienes dicen: Aléjate, no te acerques a mí, por que soy más Santo que tú; esto es humo en mi nariz, fuego que arde todo el día.

6 Behold, it is written before Me: I will not keep silent, but I will repay; I will pay it back into their laps,

Mira, está registrado delante de mí, dice el Señor: No retendré mi mano hasta que haya enviado el castigo.

7 both for your iniquities and for those of your fathers,” says the LORD. “Because they burned incense on the mountains and scorned Me on the hills, I will measure into their laps full payment for their former deeds.”

Por sus pecados y los pecados de sus padres, quienes quemaban perfumes en las montañas y decían cosas malas contra mí en las colinas; así tomaré la medida de sus pecados en su seno y enviaré el castigo por ellos.

8 This is what the LORD says: “As the new wine is found in a cluster of grapes, and men say, ‘Do not destroy it, for it contains a blessing,’ so I will act on behalf of My servants; I will not destroy them all.

Esta es la palabra del Señor: Como se ve el vino nuevo en las uvas, y dicen: No las destruyan, porque hay una bendición en él; así lo haré por mis siervos, a fin de que no les ponga fin a todos.

9 And I will bring forth descendants from Jacob, and heirs from Judah; My elect will possess My mountains, and My servants will dwell there.

Y sacaré una semilla de Jacob, y de Judá, uno que tendrá mis montañas como herencia; y mis escogidos la heredarán, y mis siervos habitarán allí.

10 Sharon will become a pasture for flocks, and the Valley of Achor a resting place for herds, for My people who seek Me.

Y Sarón será una tierra de pastos para los rebaños, y el valle de Acor un lugar de descanso para las vacas, para mi pueblo cuyos corazones se han vuelto a mí.

11 But you who forsake the LORD, who forget My holy mountain, who set a table for Fortune and fill bowls of mixed wine for Destiny,

Pero en cuanto a ustedes, que han renunciado al Señor, que no se preocupan por mi montaña sagrada, que preparan una mesa para el Azar, y hacen ofrendas de vino mezclado al Destino;

12 I will destine you for the sword, and you will all kneel down to be slaughtered, because I called and you did not answer, I spoke and you did not listen; you did evil in My sight and chose that in which I did not delight.”

Tu destino será la espada, y todos se arrodillaran al matadero; porque cuando mi voz vino a ti, no respondiste; no has oído mi palabra; pero hiciste lo que era malo ante mis ojos, deseando lo que no me agradaba.

13 Therefore this is what the Lord GOD says: “My servants will eat, but you will go hungry; My servants will drink, but you will go thirsty; My servants will rejoice, but you will be put to shame.

Por esta causa dice el Señor Dios: Mis siervos tendrán comida, pero ustedes tendrán hambre; mis siervos beberán, pero ustedes tendrán sed; mis siervos tendrán gozo, pero ustedes serán avergonzados.

14 My servants will shout for joy with a glad heart, but you will cry out with a heavy heart and wail with a broken spirit.

Mis siervos cantarán canciones en el gozo de sus corazones, pero ustedes llorarán por la tristeza y harán gemidos de dolor de un espíritu quebrantado.

15 You will leave behind your name as a curse for My chosen ones, and the Lord GOD will slay you; but to His servants He will give another name.

Y tu nombre se convertirá en una maldición para mi pueblo, y el Señor Dios te matará, y dará a sus siervos otro nombre;

16 Whoever invokes a blessing in the land will do so by the God of truth, and whoever takes an oath in the land will swear by the God of truth. For the former troubles will be forgotten and hidden from My sight.

Para que el que pide una bendición haga uso del nombre del verdadero Dios, y el que hace un juramento, lo haga el verdadero Dios; porque los problemas pasados se han olvidado, y porque están ocultas a mis ojos.

17 For behold, I will create new heavens and a new earth. The former things will not be remembered, nor will they come to mind.

Porque mira, estoy haciendo un cielo nuevo y una tierra nueva; y las cosas pasadas serán olvidadas Nadie se acordará de ello.

18 But be glad and rejoice forever in what I create; for I will create Jerusalem to be a joy and its people to be a delight.

Pero los hombres se alegrarán y gozarán eternamente de lo que estoy haciendo; porque yo hago de Jerusalén un deleite, y su pueblo una alegría.

19 I will rejoice in Jerusalem and take delight in My people. The sounds of weeping and crying will no longer be heard in her.

Y me alegraré por Jerusalén, y me gozaré en mi pueblo; y la voz del llanto ya no sonará en ella, ni la voz del dolor.

20 No longer will a nursing infant live but a few days, or an old man fail to live out his years. For the youth will die at a hundred years, and he who fails to reach a hundred will be considered accursed.

Ya no habrá allí un niño cuyos días se acorten, o un anciano cuyos días no hayan llegado a su punto máximo: porque el joven a su muerte tendrá cien años, y aquel cuya vida Es más corta que cien años parecerá como una maldición.

21 They will build houses and dwell in them; they will plant vineyards and eat their fruit.

Y edificarán casas y vivirán en ellas; Sembrando enredaderas y obteniendo el fruto de ellas.

22 No longer will they build houses for others to inhabit, nor plant for others to eat. For as is the lifetime of a tree, so will be the days of My people, and My chosen ones will fully enjoy the work of their hands.

Ya no construirán para el uso de otros, ni plantarán para que otros tengan el fruto; porque los días de mi pueblo serán como los días de un árbol, y mis elegidos, disfrutarán por largo tiempo la obra de sus manos.

23 They will not labor in vain or bear children doomed to disaster; for they will be a people blessed by the LORD— they and their descendants with them.

Su trabajo no será en vano, y no darán a luz hijos para la destrucción; porque son una simiente a quien el Señor ha dado su bendición, y su descendencia estará con ellos.

24 Even before they call, I will answer, and while they are still speaking, I will hear.

Y antes de que ellos clamen, daré una respuesta, y mientras todavía me están hablando, ya habré oído.

25 The wolf and the lamb will feed together, and the lion will eat straw like the ox, but the food of the serpent will be dust. They will neither harm nor destroy on all My holy mountain,”

El lobo y el cordero tomarán su comida juntos, y el león hará la comida de la hierba como el buey, pero el polvo será la comida de la serpiente. No habrá causa de dolor o destrucción en toda mi montaña sagrada, dice el Señor.
