Isaiah 63
1 Who is this coming from Edom, from Bozrah with crimson-stained garments? Who is this robed in splendor, marching in the greatness of His strength? “It is I, proclaiming vindication, mighty to save.”
൧ഏദോമിൽ നിന്നു, രക്താംബരം ധരിച്ചുകൊണ്ടു ബൊസ്രയിൽനിന്നു വരുന്നോരിവൻ ആര്? വസ്ത്രാലംകൃതനായി തന്റെ ശക്തിയുടെ മാഹാത്മ്യത്തിൽ നടകൊള്ളുന്നോരിവൻ ആര്? “നീതിയെ അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നവനും രക്ഷിക്കുവാൻ വല്ലഭനുമായ ഞാൻ തന്നെ”.
2 Why are Your clothes red, and Your garments like one who treads the winepress?
൨നിന്റെ ഉടുപ്പ് ചുവന്നിരിക്കുന്നതെന്ത്? നിന്റെ വസ്ത്രം മുന്തിരിച്ചക്ക് ചവിട്ടുന്നവന്റേതുപോലെ ആയിരിക്കുന്നതെന്ത്?
3 “I have trodden the winepress alone, and no one from the nations was with Me. I trampled them in My anger and trod them down in My fury; their blood spattered My garments, and all My clothes were stained.
൩“ഞാൻ ഏകനായി മുന്തിരിച്ചക്ക് ചവിട്ടി; ജനതകളിൽ ആരും എന്നോടുകൂടി ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നില്ല; എന്റെ കോപത്തിൽ ഞാൻ അവരെ ചവിട്ടി, എന്റെ ക്രോധത്തിൽ അവരെ മെതിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞു; അവരുടെ രക്തം എന്റെ വസ്ത്രത്തിൽ തെറിച്ചു; എന്റെ ഉടുപ്പെല്ലാം മലിനമായിരിക്കുന്നു.
4 For the day of vengeance was in My heart, and the year of My redemption had come.
൪ഞാൻ ഒരു പ്രതികാരദിവസം കരുതിയിരുന്നു; എന്റെ വിമുക്തന്മാരുടെ സംവത്സരം വന്നിരുന്നു.
5 I looked, but there was no one to help; I was appalled that no one assisted. So My arm brought Me salvation, and My own wrath upheld Me.
൫ഞാൻ നോക്കി എങ്കിലും സഹായിക്കുവാൻ ആരുമില്ലായിരുന്നു; ഞാൻ വിസ്മയിച്ചു നോക്കി എങ്കിലും തുണയ്ക്കുവാൻ ആരെയും കണ്ടില്ല; അതുകൊണ്ട് എന്റെ ഭുജം തന്നെ എനിക്ക് രക്ഷവരുത്തി; എന്റെ ക്രോധം തന്നെ എനിക്ക് തുണനിന്ന്.
6 I trampled the nations in My anger; in My wrath I made them drunk and poured out their blood on the ground.”
൬ഞാൻ എന്റെ കോപത്തിൽ ജനതകളെ ചവിട്ടി, എന്റെ ക്രോധത്തിൽ അവരെ മത്തുപിടിപ്പിച്ചു, അവരുടെ രക്തം ഞാൻ നിലത്തു വീഴ്ത്തിക്കളഞ്ഞു”.
7 I will make known the LORD’s loving devotion and His praiseworthy acts, because of all that the LORD has done for us— the many good things for the house of Israel according to His great compassion and loving devotion.
൭യഹോവ നമുക്കു നല്കിയതുപോലെ ഒക്കെയും ഞാൻ യഹോവയുടെ പ്രീതിവാത്സല്യത്തെയും യഹോവയുടെ സ്തുതിയെയും അവിടുത്തെ കരുണയ്ക്കും മഹാദയയ്ക്കും ഒത്തവണ്ണം അവിടുന്ന് യിസ്രായേൽ ഗൃഹത്തിനു കാണിച്ച വലിയ നന്മയെയും കീർത്തിക്കും.
8 For He said, “They are surely My people, sons who will not be disloyal.” So He became their Savior.
൮“അവർ എന്റെ ജനം, കപടം കാണിക്കാത്ത മക്കൾതന്നെ” എന്നു പറഞ്ഞ് അവിടുന്ന് അവർക്ക് രക്ഷിതാവായിത്തീർന്നു.
9 In all their distress, He too was afflicted, and the Angel of His Presence saved them. In His love and compassion He redeemed them; He lifted them up and carried them all the days of old.
൯അവരുടെ കഷ്ടതയിൽ എല്ലാം അവിടുന്ന് കഷ്ടപ്പെട്ടു; അവിടുത്തെ സന്മുഖദൂതൻ അവരെ രക്ഷിച്ചു; തന്റെ സ്നേഹത്തിലും കനിവിലും അവിടുന്ന് അവരെ വീണ്ടെടുത്തു; പുരാതനകാലത്തെല്ലാം അവിടുന്ന് അവരെ ചുമന്നുകൊണ്ടു നടന്നു.
10 But they rebelled and grieved His Holy Spirit. So He turned and became their enemy, and He Himself fought against them.
൧൦എന്നാൽ അവർ മത്സരിച്ചു അവന്റെ പരിശുദ്ധാത്മാവിനെ ദുഃഖിപ്പിച്ചു; അതുകൊണ്ട് അവൻ അവർക്ക് ശത്രുവായിത്തീർന്നു താൻതന്നെ അവരോടു യുദ്ധംചെയ്തു.
11 Then His people remembered the days of old, the days of Moses. Where is He who brought them through the sea with the shepherds of His flock? Where is the One who set His Holy Spirit among them,
൧൧അപ്പോൾ അവന്റെ ജനം മോശെയുടെ കാലമായ പുരാതന കാലം ഓർത്തു പറഞ്ഞത്: അവരെ തന്റെ ആടുകളുടെ ഇടയനോടുകൂടി സമുദ്രത്തിൽനിന്നു കരേറുമാറാക്കിയവൻ എവിടെ? അവരുടെ ഉള്ളിൽ തന്റെ പരിശുദ്ധാത്മാവിനെ കൊടുത്തവൻ എവിടെ?
12 who sent His glorious arm to lead them by the right hand of Moses, who divided the waters before them to gain for Himself everlasting renown,
൧൨തന്റെ മഹത്ത്വമുള്ള ഭുജംകൊണ്ട് മോശെയുടെ വലംകൈയാൽ അവരെ നടത്തിയവൻ തനിക്കു ഒരു ശാശ്വതനാമം ഉണ്ടാക്കേണ്ടതിനു അവരുടെ മുമ്പിൽ വെള്ളം വിഭാഗിക്കുകയും
13 who led them through the depths like a horse in the wilderness, so that they did not stumble?
൧൩അവർ ഇടറാത്തവിധം മരുഭൂമിയിൽ ഒരു കുതിരയെപ്പോലെ അവരെ ആഴങ്ങളിൽകൂടി നടത്തുകയും ചെയ്തവൻ എവിടെ?
14 Like cattle going down to the valley, the Spirit of the LORD gave them rest. You led Your people this way to make for Yourself a glorious name.
൧൪താഴ്വരയിലേക്കു ഇറങ്ങിച്ചെല്ലുന്ന കന്നുകാലികളെപ്പോലെ യഹോവയുടെ ആത്മാവ് അവരെ വിശ്രമിക്കുമാറാക്കി; അങ്ങനെ നീ നിനക്ക് മഹത്ത്വമുള്ള ഒരു നാമം ഉണ്ടാക്കേണ്ടതിനു നിന്റെ ജനത്തെ നടത്തി.
15 Look down from heaven and see, from Your holy and glorious habitation. Where are Your zeal and might? Your yearning and compassion for me are restrained.
൧൫സ്വർഗ്ഗത്തിൽനിന്നു നോക്കി, വിശുദ്ധിയും മഹത്ത്വവുമുള്ള നിന്റെ വാസസ്ഥലത്തുനിന്നു കടാക്ഷിക്കണമേ! നിന്റെ തീക്ഷ്ണതയും വീര്യപ്രവൃത്തികളും എവിടെ? നിന്റെ മനസ്സലിവും കരുണയും എന്നോട് കാണിക്കാത്തവിധം നീ അടക്കിവച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.
16 Yet You are our Father, though Abraham does not know us and Israel does not acknowledge us. You, O LORD, are our Father; our Redeemer from Everlasting is Your name.
൧൬നീയല്ലയോ ഞങ്ങളുടെ പിതാവ്; അബ്രാഹാം ഞങ്ങളെ അറിയുന്നില്ല; യിസ്രായേൽ ഞങ്ങളെ തിരിച്ചറിയുന്നതുമില്ല; നീയോ യഹോവേ, ഞങ്ങളുടെ പിതാവാകുന്നു; യുഗാരംഭംമുതൽ ഞങ്ങളുടെ വീണ്ടെടുപ്പുകാരൻ എന്നാകുന്നു നിന്റെ നാമം.
17 Why, O LORD, do You make us stray from Your ways and harden our hearts from fearing You? Return, for the sake of Your servants, the tribes of Your heritage.
൧൭യഹോവേ, നീ ഞങ്ങളെ നിന്റെ വഴി വിട്ടു തെറ്റുമാറാക്കുന്നതും നിന്നെ ഭയപ്പെടാത്തവിധം ഞങ്ങളുടെ ഹൃദയത്തെ കഠിനമാക്കുന്നതും എന്ത്? നിന്റെ അവകാശഗോത്രങ്ങളായ നിന്റെ ദാസന്മാർനിമിത്തം മടങ്ങിവരേണമേ.
18 For a short while Your people possessed Your holy place, but our enemies have trampled Your sanctuary.
൧൮നിന്റെ വിശുദ്ധജനത്തിനു അല്പകാലത്തേക്ക് മാത്രം കൈവശമായ ശേഷം നിന്റെ വിശുദ്ധമന്ദിരത്തെ ഞങ്ങളുടെ വൈരികൾ ചവിട്ടിക്കളഞ്ഞു.
19 We have become like those You never ruled, like those not called by Your name.
൧൯ഞങ്ങൾ ഇതാ, നീ ഒരിക്കലും ഭരിച്ചിട്ടില്ലാത്തവരും നിന്റെ നാമം വിളിക്കപ്പെട്ടിട്ടില്ലാത്തവരും എന്നപോലെ ആയിത്തീർന്നിരിക്കുന്നു.
