< Isaiah 61 >
1 The Spirit of the Lord GOD is on Me, because the LORD has anointed Me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent Me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives and freedom to the prisoners,
Mmụọ nke Onye kachasị ihe niile elu, bụ Onyenwe anyị dị nʼahụ m, nʼihi na Onyenwe anyị eteela m mmanụ ka m kwusaa oziọma nye ndị ogbenye. O zitela m ịkasị ndị obi ha tiwara etiwa obi, ikwupụta inwere onwe nye ndị a dọtara nʼagha, na ntọghapụ site nʼọchịchịrị nye ndị mkpọrọ.
2 to proclaim the year of the LORD’s favor and the day of our God’s vengeance, to comfort all who mourn,
O zitere m ikwupụta afọ mgbe Onyenwe anyị ga-eji ihuọma leta ndị mmadụ, na ụbọchị ịbọ ọbọ nke Chineke anyị. O zitekwara m ịkasị ndị niile na-eru ụjụ obi,
3 to console the mourners in Zion— to give them a crown of beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, and a garment of praise for a spirit of despair. So they will be called oaks of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that He may be glorified.
na igboro ndị niile na-eru ụjụ na Zayọn ihe na-akpa ha. O zitere m inye ha okpueze mara mma nʼọnọdụ ntụ, inye ha ọṅụ, nʼọnọdụ ịkwa akwa, na iyikwasị ha mmụọ otuto nʼọnọdụ mmụọ ịda mba. Nʼihi na Chineke akụọla ezi omume nʼime ha, dịka osisi ook siri ike, igosi ịma mma Onyenwe anyị.
4 They will rebuild the ancient ruins; they will restore the places long devastated; they will renew the ruined cities, the desolations of many generations.
Ha ga-ewugharịkwa ebe niile e tikpọrọ etikpọ nʼoge ochie, doziekwa ebe niile tọgbọrọ nʼefu site nʼoge dị anya; ha ga-eme ka obodo e tikpọrọ etikpọ dị ọhụrụ, bụ ebe tọgbọrọrị nʼefu nke ọtụtụ ọgbọ gara aga.
5 Strangers will stand and feed your flocks, and foreigners will be your plowmen and vinedressers.
Ndị ọbịa ga-azụrụ gị igwe ewu na atụrụ unu; ndị mba ọzọ ga-akọrọ unu ala ubi unu, lekọtakwa ubi vaịnị unu niile.
6 But you will be called the priests of the LORD; they will speak of you as ministers of our God; you will feed on the wealth of nations, and you will boast in their riches.
A ga-akpọ unu ndị nchụaja Onyenwe anyị, kpọkwa unu ndị ozi Chineke anyị. A ga-eji akụ niile si na mba dị iche iche zụọ unu. Ọ bụkwa akụnụba ha ka unu ga-eji nyaa isi.
7 Instead of shame, My people will have a double portion, and instead of humiliation, they will rejoice in their share; and so they will inherit a double portion in their land, and everlasting joy will be theirs.
Nʼọnọdụ ihere dịịrị ha ugbu a, ndị m ga-enweta ngọzị okpukpu abụọ, nʼọnọdụ nkọcha dịịrị ha ha ga-aṅụrị ọṅụ nʼihi ihe nketa ha nwetara. Ha ga-enweta okpukpu ihe nketa ala abụọ, ketakwa ọṅụ nke ga-adịgidere ha ruo mgbe ebighị ebi.
8 For I, the LORD, love justice; I hate robbery and iniquity; in My faithfulness I will give them their recompense and make an everlasting covenant with them.
“Nʼihi na mụ onwe m, Onyenwe anyị, na-ahụ ikpe ziri ezi nʼanya. Ma ana m akpọ izu ohi na ajọ omume niile asị. Aga m esite nʼikwesị ntụkwasị obi m kwụghachi ndị m nʼihi ahụhụ ha tara, mụ na ha ga-agbakwa ndụ ebighị ebi.
9 Their descendants will be known among the nations, and their offspring among the peoples. All who see them will acknowledge that they are a people the LORD has blessed.
10 I will rejoice greatly in the LORD, my soul will exult in my God; for He has clothed me with garments of salvation and wrapped me in a robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom wears a priestly headdress, as a bride adorns herself with her jewels.
Obi na-atọ m ụtọ nke ukwuu nʼime Onyenwe anyị, mkpụrụobi m ga-etegharịkwa egwu ọṅụ nʼime Chineke m. Nʼihi na o werela uwe nzọpụta kpuchie m, werekwa uwe oke ọṅụ nke ezi omume ya yikwasị m nʼahụ. 11 For as the earth brings forth its growth, and as a garden enables seed to spring up, so the Lord GOD will cause righteousness and praise to spring up before all the nations.
Dịka aja dị nʼubi si eme ka ihe a kụrụ nʼubi pupụta, dịka ubi a gbara ogige si eme ka mkpụrụ ubi too, otu a ka Onye kachasị ihe niile elu, bụ Onyenwe anyị ga-esi mee ka ezi omume na otuto pupụta nʼihu mba niile.
