< Isaiah 60 >

1 Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the LORD rises upon you.
“Sɔre, hyerɛn, na wo hann aba, na Awurade anuonyam apue wo so.
2 For behold, darkness covers the earth, and thick darkness is over the peoples; but the LORD will rise upon you, and His glory will appear over you.
Hwɛ, sum akata asase so na sum kabii akata aman no so, nanso Awurade apue wo so na nʼanuonyam ada adi wɔ wo so.
3 Nations will come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your dawn.
Amanaman bɛba wo hann no mu, na Ahemfo bɛba wo adekyee hann no mu.
4 Lift up your eyes and look around: They all gather and come to you; your sons will come from afar, and your daughters will be carried on the arm.
“Ma wʼani so na hwɛ wo ho hyia: wɔn nyinaa aboa wɔn ho ano reba wo nkyɛn; wo mmabarima fifi akyirikyiri, na wokura wo mmabea wɔ abasa so.
5 Then you will look and be radiant, and your heart will tremble and swell with joy, because the riches of the sea will be brought to you, and the wealth of the nations will come to you.
Afei wobɛhwɛ na wʼanim atew, wo koma bɛbɔ na anigye ahyɛ no ma; ahonya a ɛwɔ po so, wɔde bɛbrɛ wo, na amanaman no ahode nso bɛba wo nkyɛn.
6 Caravans of camels will cover your land, young camels of Midian and Ephah, and all from Sheba will come, bearing gold and frankincense and proclaiming the praises of the LORD.
Yoma akuwakuw bɛyɛ wʼasase so ma, yomaforo a wufi Midian ne Efa. Na wɔn a wofi Seba nyinaa bɛba, wɔsoso sika kɔkɔɔ ne nnuhuam na wɔpae mu ka Awurade ayeyi.
7 All the flocks of Kedar will be gathered to you; the rams of Nebaioth will serve you and go up on My altar with acceptance; I will adorn My glorious house.
Wɔbɛboaboa Kedar nguankuw nyinaa ano abrɛ wo, Nebaiot adwennini bɛsom wo; wobegye wɔn sɛ afɔrebɔde wɔ mʼafɔremuka so, na mɛhyɛ mʼasɔredan kronkron no anuonyam.
8 Who are these who fly like clouds, like doves to their shelters?
“Henanom ne eyinom a wotu sɛ omununkum, te sɛ mmorɔnoma a wɔrekɔ wɔn berebuw mu yi?
9 Surely the islands will wait for Me, with the ships of Tarshish in the lead, to bring your children from afar, with their silver and gold, to the honor of the LORD your God, the Holy One of Israel, for He has glorified you.
Ampa ara asupɔw no ani da me so; Tarsis ahyɛn na wodi anim, wɔde wo mmabarima fifi akyirikyiri reba, wɔsoso wɔn dwetɛ ne wɔn sikakɔkɔɔ, de rebɛhyɛ Awurade, wo Nyankopɔn anuonyam, Israel Kronkronni No, efisɛ wahyɛ wo anuonyam.
10 Foreigners will rebuild your walls, and their kings will serve you. Although I struck you in anger, yet in favor I will show you mercy.
“Ananafo bɛto wʼafasu no bio, na wɔn ahemfo bɛsom wo. Ɛwɔ mu, mede abufuw asɛe wo de, nanso menam adom so behu wo mmɔbɔ.
11 Your gates will always stand open; they will never be shut, day or night, so that the wealth of the nations may be brought into you, with their kings being led in procession.
Wo apon ano bɛdeda hɔ bere biara, wɔrentoto mu awia anaa anadwo, sɛnea ɛbɛyɛ a nkurɔfo de amanaman no ahonya bɛbrɛ wo, wɔn ahemfo dii nkonimdi santen no anim.
12 For the nation or kingdom that will not serve you will perish; it will be utterly destroyed.
Na ɔman anaa ahenni a wɔrensom wo no bɛyera, wɔbɛsɛe no pasaa.
13 The glory of Lebanon will come to you— its cypress, elm, and boxwood together— to adorn the place of My sanctuary, and I will glorify the place of My feet.
“Lebanon anuonyam bɛba wo nkyɛn, ɔpepaw, ɔsɛsɛ ne kwabɔhɔre bɛbɔ mu, abesiesie me kronkronbea hɔ; na mɛhyɛ beae a me nan sisi no anuonyam.
14 The sons of your oppressors will come and bow down to you; all who reviled you will fall facedown at your feet and call you the City of the LORD, Zion of the Holy One of Israel.
Wo nhyɛsofo mmabarima bɛba abɛkotow wo; wɔn a wobu wo animtiaa nyinaa bɛkotow wʼanan ase na wɔbɛfrɛ wo Awurade Kuropɔn, Israel Kronkronni, Sion.
15 Whereas you have been forsaken and despised, with no one passing through, I will make you an everlasting pride, a joy from age to age.
“Ɛwɔ mu, wɔapa wʼakyi atan wo, a obiara ntu kwan mfa wo mu, nanso mɛyɛ wo ahohoahoade a ɛte hɔ daa ne awo ntoatoaso nyinaa anigyede.
16 You will drink the milk of nations and nurse at the breasts of royalty; you will know that I, the LORD, am your Savior and your Redeemer, the Mighty One of Jacob.
Wobɛnom amanaman nufusu no na woanum adehye nufu. Afei wubehu sɛ me Awurade, me ne wo Agyenkwa, wo gyefo, Yakob Tumfo no.
17 Instead of bronze I will bring you gold; I will bring silver in place of iron, bronze instead of wood, and iron instead of stones. I will appoint peace as your governor and righteousness as your ruler.
Mede sikakɔkɔɔ besi kɔbere anan mu abrɛ wo, na dwetɛ asi dade anan mu. Mede kɔbere besi dua anan mu abrɛ wo, na dade asi abo anan mu. Mede asomdwoe bɛyɛ wo so amrado na trenee ayɛ wo sodifo.
18 No longer will violence be heard in your land, nor ruin or destruction within your borders. But you will name your walls Salvation and your gates Praise.
Wɔrente awurukasɛm wɔ wʼasase so bio, anaa nnwiriwii ne ɔsɛe wɔ wʼahye so mmom wobɛfrɛ wʼafasu se Nkwagye ne wʼapon se Ayeyi.
19 No longer will the sun be your light by day, nor the brightness of the moon shine on your night; for the LORD will be your everlasting light, and your God will be your splendor.
Owia renyɛ wo hann adekyee mu bio na ɔsram hann renhyerɛn wo so, efisɛ Awurade bɛyɛ wo daapem hann, na wo Nyankopɔn bɛyɛ wo anuonyam.
20 Your sun will no longer set, and your moon will not wane; for the LORD will be your everlasting light, and the days of your sorrow will cease.
Wo wia rentɔ bio, wo sram rennum bio, Awurade bɛyɛ wo daapem hann, na wʼawerɛhownna to betwa.
21 Then all your people will be righteous; they will possess the land forever; they are the branch of My planting, the work of My hands, so that I may be glorified.
Na afei wo nkurɔfo nyinaa bɛyɛ atreneefo na wɔbɛfa asase no adi so afebɔɔ. Wɔyɛ ade a madua na afefɛw me nsa ano adwuma a ɛbɛda mʼanuonyam adi.
22 The least of you will become a thousand, and the smallest a mighty nation. I am the LORD; in its time I will accomplish it quickly.
Mo mu akumaa koraa bɛdɔ ayɛ apem, na aketewa no ayɛ ɔman kɛse. Mene Awurade; na ne bere mu, mɛyɛ eyi ntɛm so.”
