< Isaiah 57 >

1 The righteous perish, and no one takes it to heart; devout men are swept away, while no one considers that the righteous are guided from the presence of evil.
Atreneefo wu, na obiara nnwen ho wɔ ne koma mu; wɔfa nyamesurofo kɔ, na obiara nte ase sɛ wɔfa atreneefo kɔ sɛnea wobeyi wɔn afi bɔne mu.
2 Those who walk uprightly enter into peace; they find rest, lying down in death.
Wɔn a wɔnantew tee no wɔhyɛn asomdwoe mu; wonya ahomegye bere a wɔadeda sɛ awufo.
3 “But come here, you sons of a sorceress, you offspring of adulterers and prostitutes!
“Nanso mo, mommra ha, mo ɔbayifo mma, mo nguaman ne mmea nguamanfo mma!
4 Whom are you mocking? At whom do you snarl and stick out your tongue? Are you not children of transgression, offspring of deceit,
Hena na moreserew no? Hena na moredi ne ho fɛw na morebɔ no adapaa yi? Monnyɛ atuatewfo fekuw ne atorofo asefo ana?
5 who burn with lust among the oaks, under every luxuriant tree, who slaughter your children in the valleys, under the clefts of the rocks?
Mode ɔpɛ mmoroso bɔ afɔre wɔ adum mu ne dua biara a adennan ase; mode mo mma bɔ afɔre wɔ aku a mu dɔ mu ne abotan mpaapae ase.
6 Your portion is among the smooth stones of the valley; indeed, they are your lot. Even to them you have poured out a drink offering and offered a grain offering. Should I relent because of these?
Anyame a wɔyɛ abo trontrom, a ɛwɔ aku a mu dɔ mu no, wɔyɛ mo kyɛfa. Wɔn na mopɛ. Yiw, moahwie nsa afɔrebɔde agu wɔn so na mode aduan afɔrebɔde ama wɔn. Eyinom nyinaa akyi, mingow me nsam ana?
7 On a high and lofty hill you have made your bed, and there you went up to offer sacrifices.
Moasiesie mo nnabea wɔ koko a ɛkorɔn so; ɛhɔ na mokɔ kɔbɔ afɔre.
8 Behind the door and doorpost you have set up your memorial. Forsaking Me, you uncovered your bed; you climbed up and opened it wide. And you have made a pact with those whose bed you have loved; you have gazed upon their nakedness.
Mo apon ne apongua akyi na mo de mo abosonsom nsɛsode asisi. Mufii mʼakyi koyii mo mpa so ntama, mokɔdaa so na motrɛw mu; mo ne wɔn a modɔ wɔn mpa yɛɛ apam, na mohwɛɛ wɔn adagyaw mu.
9 You went to Molech with oil and multiplied your perfumes. You have sent your envoys a great distance; you have descended even to Sheol itself. (Sheol h7585)
Mode ngo kɔɔ Molek nkyɛn na momaa mo nnuhuam dɔɔso. Mosomaa mo ananmusifo kɔɔ akyirikyiri; mosian kɔɔ ɔda mu ankasa! (Sheol h7585)
10 You are wearied by your many journeys, but you did not say, “There is no hope!” You found renewal of your strength; therefore you did not grow weak.
Mo nneyɛe maa mo ɔbrɛ, nanso moanka da se, ‘Yenni anidaso.’ Mopɛɛ ahoɔden foforo enti moantɔ piti.
11 Whom have you dreaded and feared, so that you lied and failed to remember Me or take this to heart? Is it not because I have long been silent that you do not fear Me?
“Hena na wama mo koma atu na wabɔ mo hu sɛɛ a enti moanni me nokware, na moankae me anaa moannwene eyi ho wɔ mo koma mu yi? So ɛnyɛ komm a mayɛ akyɛ no nti na munsuro me no ana?
12 I will expose your righteousness and your works, and they will not profit you.
Mɛda mo trenee ne mo nnwuma adi, na so remma mo mfaso.
13 When you cry out, let your companies of idols deliver you! Yet the wind will carry off all of them, a breath will take them away. But he who seeks refuge in Me will inherit the land and possess My holy mountain.”
Sɛ moteɛ mu pɛ mmoa a, momma mo ahoni a moaboa ano no nnye mo! Mframa bɛbɔ wɔn nyinaa akɔ, home kɛkɛ bɛfa wɔn. Nanso onipa a ɔde me yɛ ne guankɔbea no bedi asase no so na wafa me bepɔw kronkron no.”
14 And it will be said, “Build it up, build it up, prepare the way, take every obstacle out of the way of My people.”
Na wɔbɛka se: “Monyɛ, monyɛ, munsiesie ɔkwan no! Munyiyi akwanside mfi me nkurɔfo akwan mu.”
15 For thus says the One who is high and lifted up, who inhabits eternity, whose name is Holy: “I dwell in a high and holy place, and with the oppressed and humble in spirit, to restore the spirit of the lowly and revive the heart of the contrite.
Na oyi ne nea ɔkorɔn no, nea ɔte ase daa a ne din yɛ kronkron no se: “Mete beae a ɛkorɔn na ɛyɛ kronkron, mene nea ɔwɔ ahonu na ɔyɛ honhom mu hiani nso te, sɛ mɛkanyan honhom mu hiani no honhom, na makanyan ne koma a abubu no.
16 For I will not accuse you forever, nor will I always be angry; for then the spirit of man would grow weak before Me, with the breath of those I have made.
Meremmɔ sobo afebɔɔ, na me bo remfuw daa, sɛ anyɛ saa a onipa honhom bɛtɔ beraw wɔ mʼanim, onipa ahome a me na mabɔ no.
17 I was enraged by his sinful greed, so I struck him and hid My face in anger; yet he kept turning back to the desires of his heart.
Ne nnebɔne adifudepɛ maa me bo fuwii; metwee nʼaso, na mede abufuw yii mʼani, nso ɔkɔɔ so yɛɛ nea ne koma pɛ.
18 I have seen his ways, but I will heal him; I will guide him and restore comfort to him and his mourners,
Mahu ne nneyɛe, nanso mɛsa no yare. Mɛkyerɛ no kwan na makyekye ne werɛ,
19 bringing praise to their lips. Peace, peace to those far and near,” says the LORD, “and I will heal them.”
na mama ayeyi aba wɔn a wɔredi awerɛhow wɔ Israel no ano. Asomdwoe, asomdwoe mmra wɔn a wɔwɔ akyirikyiri ne wɔn a wɔbɛn so,” sɛɛ na Awurade se. “Na mɛsa wɔn yare.”
20 But the wicked are like the storm-tossed sea, for it cannot be still, and its waves churn up mire and muck.
Na amumɔyɛfo te sɛ po a ɛrehuru, entumi nyɛ komm, nʼasorɔkye yiyi dontori ne fi.
21 “There is no peace,” says my God, “for the wicked.”
“Amumɔyɛfo nni asomdwoe.” Sɛɛ na me Nyankopɔn se.
