Isaiah 46

1 Bel crouches; Nebo cowers. Their idols weigh down beasts and cattle. The images you carry are burdensome, a load to the weary animal.

౧బేలు కూలిపోతూ ఉన్నాడు. నెబో కృంగుతూ ఉన్నాడు. వారి విగ్రహాలను జంతువులు, పశువులు మోస్తూ వెళ్తున్నాయి.

2 The gods cower; they crouch together, unable to relieve the burden; but they themselves go into captivity.

౨వాటిని మోయడం పశువులకు భారంగా ఉంది, అవి సొమ్మసిల్లి పోతున్నాయి. అవి క్రుంగుతూ, తూలుతూ ఆ విగ్రహాలను కాపాడ లేక పోగా తాము కూడా చెరగా పట్టుబడ్డాయి.

3 “Listen to Me, O house of Jacob, all the remnant of the house of Israel, who have been sustained from the womb, carried along since birth.

౩యాకోబు సంతానమా, ఇశ్రాయేలు సంతానంలో మిగిలిన వారలారా, మీరు గర్భంలో ప్రవేశించింది మొదలుకుని నేను మిమ్మల్ని భరించాను. మీరు తల్లి ఒడిలో పడినది మొదలుకొని నేను మిమ్మల్ని ఎత్తుకున్నాను. నా మాట వినండి.

4 Even to your old age, I will be the same, and I will bear you up when you turn gray. I have made you, and I will carry you; I will sustain you and deliver you.

౪నువ్వు ముసలివాడివయ్యే వరకూ, నీ తల వెండ్రుకలు తెల్లగా అయ్యే వరకూ నిన్ను మోసేవాణ్ణి నేనే. నేనే నిన్ను చేశాను, నిన్ను ఎత్తుకునే వాణ్ణీ, నిన్ను మోస్తూ రక్షించేవాణ్ణీ కూడా నేనే.

5 To whom will you liken Me or count Me equal? To whom will you compare Me, that we should be alike?

౫నన్ను ఎవరితో పోల్చి ఎవరిని నాకు సాటివారుగా చేస్తారు? నాకు సమానమని ఎవరిని నాకు పోటీగా చేస్తారు?

6 They pour out their bags of gold and weigh out silver on scales; they hire a goldsmith to fashion it into a god, so they can bow down and worship.

౬ప్రజలు విస్తారమైన బంగారం తెచ్చి పోస్తారు. వెండిని తెచ్చి బరువు తూస్తారు. ఒక కంసాలిని జీతానికి పిలిచి అతనికి దాన్ని అప్పగిస్తారు. అతడు దాన్ని ఒక దేవుడుగా రూపొందిస్తాడు. వారు దానికి సాగిలపడి నమస్కారం చేస్తారు.

7 They lift it to their shoulder and carry it along; they set it in its place, and there it stands, not budging from that spot. They cry out to it, but it does not answer; it saves no one from his troubles.

౭వారు దాన్ని తమ భుజాల మీద ఎక్కించుకుంటారు. దాన్ని మోసుకుపోయి దాని స్థానంలో నిలబెడతారు. అది అక్కడి నుండి కదలకుండా అక్కడే నిలబడి ఉంటుంది. ఒకడు దానికి మొర్రపెట్టినా జవాబు చెప్పదు, ఎవరి బాధా తీసివేయలేదు, రక్షించలేదు.

8 Remember this and be brave; take it to heart, you transgressors!

౮ఈ విషయాలు ఆలోచించండి. వాటిని మర్చిపోవద్దు. తిరుగుబాటు చేసే మీరు దీన్ని ఆలోచించండి.

9 Remember what happened long ago, for I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is none like Me.

౯చాల కాలం క్రితం జరిగిన వాటిని జ్ఞాపకం చేసుకోండి. నేనే దేవుణ్ణి, మరి ఏ దేవుడూ లేడు. నేనే దేవుణ్ణి, నాలాంటి వాడు ఎవడూ లేడు.

10 I declare the end from the beginning, and ancient times from what is still to come. I say, ‘My purpose will stand, and all My good pleasure I will accomplish.’

౧౦ఆది నుండి అంతం వరకు కలగబోయే వాటిని నేను ప్రకటిస్తాను. ఇంకా జరగని వాటిని ముందుగానే తెలియజేస్తాను. “నా సంకల్పం జరుగుతుంది. నా చిత్తమంతా నేను నెరవేర్చుకుంటాను” అని నేను చెబుతున్నాను.

11 I summon a bird of prey from the east, a man for My purpose from a far-off land. Truly I have spoken, and truly I will bring it to pass. I have planned it, and I will surely do it.

౧౧తూర్పు నుండి క్రూరపక్షిని రప్పిస్తున్నాను. దూరదేశం నుండి నా సంకల్పాన్ని జరిగించే వ్యక్తిని పిలుస్తున్నాను. నేను చెప్పిన దాన్ని నెరవేరుస్తాను, ఉద్దేశించినదాన్ని సఫలం చేస్తాను.

12 Listen to Me, you stubborn people, far removed from righteousness:

౧౨బండబారిన హృదయాలతో నీతికి దూరంగా ఉన్నవారలారా, నా మాట వినండి.

13 I am bringing My righteousness near; it is not far away, and My salvation will not be delayed. I will grant salvation to Zion and adorn Israel with My splendor.

౧౩నా నీతిని మీకు దగ్గరగా తెచ్చాను. అది దూరంగా లేదు. నా రక్షణ ఆలస్యం కాదు. సీయోనుకు నా రక్షణ అందిస్తాను. ఇశ్రాయేలుకు నా మహిమను అనుగ్రహిస్తాను.
