Isaiah 35
1 The wilderness and the land will be glad; the desert will rejoice and blossom like a rose.
| بیابان به وجد خواهد آمد، صحرا پر از گل خواهد شد |
2 It will bloom profusely and rejoice with joy and singing. The glory of Lebanon will be given to it, the splendor of Carmel and Sharon. They will see the glory of the LORD, the splendor of our God.
| و سرود و شادی همه جا را پر خواهد ساخت. بیابانها مانند کوههای لبنان سبز و خرم خواهند شد و صحراها همچون چراگاههای کرمل و چمنزارهای شارون حاصلخیز خواهند گردید. خداوند شکوه و زیبایی خود را نمایان خواهد ساخت و همه آن را خواهند دید. |
3 Strengthen the limp hands and steady the feeble knees!
| مردم دلسرد و مأیوس را با این خبر شاد کنید. |
4 Say to those with anxious hearts: “Be strong, do not fear! Behold, your God will come with vengeance. With divine retribution He will come to save you.”
| به آنانی که می‌ترسند، قوت قلب دهید و بگویید: «دلیر باشید و نترسید، زیرا خدای شما می‌آید تا از دشمنانتان انتقام بگیرد و آنها را به سزای اعمالشان برساند.» |
5 Then the eyes of the blind will be opened and the ears of the deaf unstopped.
| وقتی او بیاید چشمهای کوران را بینا و گوشهای کران را شنوا خواهد ساخت. |
6 Then the lame will leap like a deer and the mute tongue will shout for joy. For waters will gush forth in the wilderness, and streams in the desert.
| لنگ مانند آهو جست و خیز خواهد کرد و لال سرود خواهد خواند. در بیابان، چشمه‌ها و در صحرا، نهرها جاری خواهند شد. |
7 The parched ground will become a pool, the thirsty land springs of water. In the haunt where jackals once lay, there will be grass and reeds and papyrus.
| شوره‌زار به برکه، و زمین خشک و تشنه به چشمه تبدیل خواهند گردید. آنجا که شغالها در آن می‌خوابیدند از علف و بوریا و نی پر خواهد شد. |
8 And there will be a highway called the Way of Holiness. The unclean will not travel it— only those who walk in the Way— and fools will not stray onto it.
| در زمین ویران راهی باز خواهد شد و آن را «شاهراه مقدّس» خواهند نامید و هیچ شخص بدکار از آن عبور نخواهد کرد. در آنجا خداوند همراه شما خواهد بود و کسانی که در آن گام بردارند اگرچه جاهل باشند گمراه نخواهند شد. |
9 No lion will be there, and no vicious beast will go up on it. Such will not be found there, but the redeemed will walk upon it.
| در کنار آن راه نه شیری کمین خواهد کرد و نه حیوان درندۀ دیگری. نجات یافتگان در آن سفر خواهند کرد. |
10 So the redeemed of the LORD will return and enter Zion with singing, crowned with everlasting joy. Gladness and joy will overtake them, and sorrow and sighing will flee.
| و کسانی که خداوند آزادشان کرده، سرودخوانان با شادی جاودانی، از آن راه به اورشلیم خواهند آمد. غم و نالهٔ آنان برای همیشه پایان خواهد یافت و جای خود را به شادی و سرود خواهد داد. |
