Isaiah 32

1 Behold, a king will reign in righteousness, and princes will rule with justice.

௧இதோ, ஒரு ராஜா நீதியாக அரசாளுவார்; பிரபுக்களும் நியாயமாக ஆளுகை செய்வார்கள்.

2 Each will be like a shelter from the wind, a refuge from the storm, like streams of water in a dry land, like the shadow of a great rock in an arid land.

௨அவர் காற்றுக்கு ஒதுக்காகவும், பெருவெள்ளத்திற்குப் புகலிடமாகவும், வறண்ட நிலத்திற்கு நீர்க்கால்களாகவும், விடாய்த்த பூமிக்குப் பெருங்கன்மலையின் நிழலாகவும் இருப்பார்.

3 Then the eyes of those who see will no longer be closed, and the ears of those who hear will listen.

௩அப்பொழுது காண்கிறவர்களின் கண்கள் மங்கலாக இருக்காது; கேட்கிறவர்களின் செவிகள் கவனித்தே இருக்கும்.

4 The mind of the rash will know and understand, and the stammering tongue will speak clearly and fluently.

௪பதற்றமுள்ளவர்களின் இருதயம் அறிவை உணர்ந்துகொள்ளும், திக்குகிறவர்களுடைய நாவு தடையின்றித் தெளிவாகப் பேசும்.

5 No longer will a fool be called noble, nor a scoundrel be respected.

௫மூடன் இனி தயாளன் என்று மதிக்கப்படமாட்டான்; துஷ்டன் இனி தயாள குணமுள்ளவன் என்று சொல்லப்படுவதுமில்லை.

6 For a fool speaks foolishness; his mind plots iniquity. He practices ungodliness and speaks falsely about the LORD; he leaves the hungry empty and deprives the thirsty of drink.

௬ஏனென்றால் மூடன், மூடத்தனத்தைப் பேசுகிறான்; அவன் இருதயம் அநியாயத்தை நடப்பிக்கும்; அவன் மாயம்செய்து, யெகோவாவுக்கு விரோதமாக விபரீதம் பேசி, பசியுள்ள ஆத்துமாவை வெறுமையாக வைத்து, தாகமுள்ளவனுக்குத் தாகம் தீர்க்காதிருக்கிறான்.

7 The weapons of the scoundrel are destructive; he hatches plots to destroy the poor with lies, even when the plea of the needy is just.

௭துஷ்டனின் எத்தனங்களும் பொல்லாதவைகள்; ஏழைகள் நியாயமாகப் பேசும்போது, அவன் கள்ளவார்த்தைகளாலே எளியவர்களைக் கெடுக்க தீவினைகளை யோசிக்கிறான்.

8 But a noble man makes honorable plans; he stands up for worthy causes.

௮தயாளகுணமுள்ளவன் தயாளமானவைகளை யோசிக்கிறான், தயாளமானவைகளிலே நிலைத்தும் இருக்கிறான்.

9 Stand up, you complacent women; listen to me. Give ear to my word, you overconfident daughters.

௯சுகஜீவிகளாகிய பெண்களே, எழுந்திருந்து என் வார்த்தைகளைக் கேளுங்கள்; நிர்விசாரமான பெண்களே, என் வசனத்திற்குச் செவிகொடுங்கள்.

10 In a little more than a year you will tremble, O secure ones. For the grape harvest will fail and the fruit harvest will not arrive.

௧0நிர்விசாரிகளே, ஒரு வருடமும் சில நாட்களுமாகத் தத்தளிப்பீர்கள்; திராட்சைப்பலன் அற்றுப்போகும்; அறுப்புக்காலம் வராது.

11 Shudder, you ladies of leisure; tremble, you daughters of complacency. Strip yourselves bare and put sackcloth around your waists.

௧௧சுகஜீவிகளே, நடுங்குங்கள்; நிர்விசாரிகளே, தத்தளியுங்கள்; உடையை களைந்துபோட்டு, இடுப்பில் சணல் ஆடையைக் கட்டிக்கொள்ளுங்கள்.

12 Beat your breasts for the pleasant fields, for the fruitful vines,

௧௨செழிப்பான வயல்களுக்காகவும் கனிதரும் திராட்சைச் செடிகளுக்காகவும் மாரடித்துப் புலம்புவார்கள்.

13 and for the land of my people, overgrown with thorns and briers— even for every house of merriment in this city of revelry.

௧௩என் மக்களுடைய நிலத்திலும், களிகூர்ந்திருந்த நகரத்திலுள்ள சந்தோஷம் நிறைந்த எல்லா வீடுகளிலும், முட்செடியும் நெரிஞ்சிலும் முளைக்கும்.

14 For the palace will be forsaken, the busy city abandoned. The hill and the watchtower will become caves forever— the delight of wild donkeys and a pasture for flocks—

௧௪அரண்மனை பாழாக விடப்படும், மக்கள் நிறைந்த நகரம் வெறுமையாகும், மேடும் கோபுரமும் என்றைக்கும் கெபிகளாகும், அவைகள் காட்டுக்கழுதைகள் களிக்கும் இடமாயும் மந்தைகளுக்கு மேய்ச்சலிடமாயும் இருக்கும்.

15 until the Spirit is poured out upon us from on high. Then the desert will be an orchard, and the orchard will seem like a forest.

௧௫உன்னதத்திலிருந்து நம்மேல் தேவனுடைய ஆவி ஊற்றப்படும்வரை அப்படியே இருக்கும்; அப்பொழுது வனாந்திரம் செழிப்பான வயல்வெளியாகும்; செழிப்பான வயல்வெளி காடாக நினைக்கப்படும்.

16 Then justice will inhabit the wilderness, and righteousness will dwell in the fertile field.

௧௬வனாந்திரத்திலே நியாயம் வாசமாயிருக்கும், செழிப்பான வயல்வெளியிலே நீதி தங்கித்தரிக்கும்.

17 The work of righteousness will be peace; the service of righteousness will be quiet confidence forever.

௧௭நீதியின் செயல் சமாதானமும், நீதியின் பலன் என்றுமுள்ள அமைதலும் சுகமுமாம்.

18 Then my people will dwell in a peaceful place, in safe and secure places of rest.

௧௮என் மக்கள் சமாதான குடியிருப்புகளிலும், நிலையான இருப்பிடங்களிலும், அமைதியாகத் தங்கும் இடங்களிலும் குடியிருக்கும்.

19 But hail will level the forest, and the city will sink to the depths.

௧௯ஆனாலும் காடு அழிய கல்மழை பெய்யும், அந்த நகரம் மகா தாழ்வாய்த் தாழ்ந்துபோகும்.

20 Blessed are those who sow beside abundant waters, who let the ox and donkey range freely.

௨0மாடுகளையும் கழுதைகளையும் நடத்திக்கொண்டுபோய், நீர்வளம் பொருந்திய இடங்களிலெல்லாம் விதை விதைக்கிற நீங்கள் பாக்கியவான்கள்.
