< Isaiah 25 >

1 O LORD, You are my God! I will exalt You; I will praise Your name. For You have worked wonders— plans formed long ago— in perfect faithfulness.
Olúwa, ìwọ ni Ọlọ́run mi; èmi yóò gbé ọ ga èmi ó sì fi ìyìn fún orúkọ rẹ nítorí nínú òtítọ́ aláìlẹ́gbẹ́ o ti ṣe ohun ńlá, àwọn ohun tí o ti gbèrò o rẹ̀ lọ́jọ́ pípẹ́.
2 Indeed, You have made the city a heap of rubble, the fortified town a ruin. The fortress of strangers is a city no more; it will never be rebuilt.
Ìwọ ti sọ ìlú di àkójọ àlàpà, ìlú olódi ti di ààtàn, ìlú olódi fún àwọn àjèjì ni kò sí mọ́; a kì yóò tún un kọ́ mọ́.
3 Therefore, a strong people will honor You. The cities of ruthless nations will revere You.
Nítorí náà àwọn ènìyàn alágbára yóò bọ̀wọ̀ fún ọ; àwọn ìlú orílẹ̀-èdè aláìláàánú yóò bu ọlá fún ọ.
4 For You have been a refuge for the poor, a stronghold for the needy in distress, a refuge from the storm, a shade from the heat. For the breath of the ruthless is like rain against a wall,
Ìwọ ti jẹ́ ààbò fún àwọn òtòṣì ààbò fún aláìní nínú ìpọ́njú rẹ̀ ààbò kúrò lọ́wọ́ ìjì bòòji kúrò lọ́wọ́ ooru. Nítorí pé èémí àwọn ìkà dàbí ìjì tí ó bì lu ògiri
5 like heat in a dry land. You subdue the uproar of foreigners. As the shade of a cloud cools the heat, so the song of the ruthless is silenced.
àti gẹ́gẹ́ bí ooru ní aginjù. O mú ìdákẹ́ jẹ́ẹ́ bá rògbòdìyàn àwọn àjèjì, gẹ́gẹ́ bí òjìji kurukuru ṣe ń dín ooru kù, bẹ́ẹ̀ gẹ́gẹ́ ni orin àwọn ìkà yóò dákẹ́.
6 On this mountain the LORD of Hosts will prepare a banquet for all the peoples, a feast of aged wine, of choice meat, of finely aged wine.
Ní orí òkè yìí ni Olúwa àwọn ọmọ-ogun yóò ti pèsè àsè oúnjẹ àdídùn kan fún gbogbo ènìyàn àpèjẹ ti ọtí wáìnì àtijọ́ ti ẹran tí ó dára jù àti ti ọtí wáìnì tí ó gbámúṣé.
7 On this mountain He will swallow up the shroud that enfolds all peoples, the sheet that covers all nations;
Ní orí òkè yìí ni yóò pa aṣọ òkú tí ó ti ń di gbogbo ènìyàn, abala tí ó bo gbogbo orílẹ̀-èdè mọ́lẹ̀,
8 He will swallow up death forever. The Lord GOD will wipe away the tears from every face and remove the disgrace of His people from the whole earth.
Òun yóò sì gbé ikú mì títí láé. Olúwa Olódùmarè yóò sì nu gbogbo omijé nù, kúrò ní ojú gbogbo wọn, Òun yóò sì mú ẹ̀gàn àwọn ènìyàn rẹ̀ kúrò ní gbogbo ilẹ̀ ayé. Olúwa ni ó ti sọ ọ́.
9 And in that day it will be said, “Surely this is our God; we have waited for Him, and He has saved us. This is the LORD for whom we have waited. Let us rejoice and be glad in His salvation.”
Ní ọjọ́ náà wọn yóò sọ pé, “Nítòótọ́ eléyìí ni Ọlọ́run wa; àwa ní ìgbẹ́kẹ̀lé nínú rẹ̀, òun sì gbà wá là. Èyí ni Olúwa, àwa gbẹ́kẹ̀lé e, ẹ jẹ́ kí a yọ̀ kí inú wa sì dùn nínú ìgbàlà rẹ̀.”
10 For the hand of the LORD will rest on this mountain. But Moab will be trampled in his place as straw is trodden into the dung pile.
Ọwọ́ Olúwa yóò sinmi lé orí òkè yìí ṣùgbọ́n a ó tẹ Moabu mọ́lẹ̀ lábẹ́ ẹsẹ̀ rẹ̀; gẹ́gẹ́ bí a ti gún koríko mọ́lẹ̀ di ajílẹ̀.
11 He will spread out his hands within it, as a swimmer spreads his arms to swim. His pride will be brought low, despite the skill of his hands.
Wọn yóò na ọwọ́ wọn jáde nínú rẹ̀, gẹ́gẹ́ bí òmùwẹ̀ tí ń na ọwọ́ rẹ̀ jáde láti lúwẹ̀ẹ́. Ọlọ́run yóò mú ìgbéraga wọn wálẹ̀ bó tilẹ̀ jẹ́ pé ìṣeféfé wà ní ọwọ́ wọn.
12 The high-walled fortress will be brought down, cast to the ground, into the dust.
Òun yóò sì bi gbogbo ògiri gíga alágbára yín lulẹ̀ wọn yóò sì wà nílẹ̀, Òun yóò sì mú wọn wá si ilẹ̀, àní sí erùpẹ̀ lásán.
