< Isaiah 25 >
1 O LORD, You are my God! I will exalt You; I will praise Your name. For You have worked wonders— plans formed long ago— in perfect faithfulness.
Ry Iehovà, Andrianañahareko irehe, hañonjoñ’Azo iraho, ho bangoeko ty tahina’o, ty amo fitoloña’o fanjàkao; ihe nisafiry haehae am-pigahiñañe naho an-katò.
2 Indeed, You have made the city a heap of rubble, the fortified town a ruin. The fortress of strangers is a city no more; it will never be rebuilt.
Fa nanoe’o votre ty rova, naho fianto i rova fatra-piaroy; tsy rova ka i anjomban’ ambahiniy, vaho tsy hamboareñe ka.
3 Therefore, a strong people will honor You. The cities of ruthless nations will revere You.
Aa le hañonjoñe Azo ondaty manjofakeo, hañeveñe ama’o o rovam-pifeheañe mitromoroñeo.
4 For You have been a refuge for the poor, a stronghold for the needy in distress, a refuge from the storm, a shade from the heat. For the breath of the ruthless is like rain against a wall,
Fa nifipalira’ o rarakeo irehe, fitsoloha’ o misotrio, fiampirañe an-tio bey, fialofañe amy hatrovohañey; naho hoe tio-bey an-kijoly ty fikofoha’ o maharevendreveñeo.
5 like heat in a dry land. You subdue the uproar of foreigners. As the shade of a cloud cools the heat, so the song of the ruthless is silenced.
Manahake ty hatrevohañe an-tane maike eo, ty hampitsiña’o ty fikoraha’ o ambahinio; hambañe ami’ty talinjon-drahoñe amy fipisañañey, ty hampijomohoñe ty fibekoa’ o mangosasàkeo.
6 On this mountain the LORD of Hosts will prepare a banquet for all the peoples, a feast of aged wine, of choice meat, of finely aged wine.
Ami’ty vohitse toy ty hañalankaña’ Iehovà’ i Màroy sabadidake amo raha mafirio ze kila ondaty, takataka aman-divay natadrètse, ty vondrake pea’ ty betron-taolañe, vaho divay soa-filomboke.
7 On this mountain He will swallow up the shroud that enfolds all peoples, the sheet that covers all nations;
Le hagedra’e ami’ty vohitse toy ty fikolopofañe ami’ty vinta’ ze kila-ondaty naho ty marerarera mandrongoñe o fifeheañeo.
8 He will swallow up death forever. The Lord GOD will wipe away the tears from every face and remove the disgrace of His people from the whole earth.
Hatele’e ho mongotse ty havilasy, vaho ho faohe’ i Rañandria Iehovà amy ze hene laharañe ty ranompihaino; hafaha’e ami’ty tane toy ty sirika’ondati’eo; izay ty nitsarà’ Iehovà.
9 And in that day it will be said, “Surely this is our God; we have waited for Him, and He has saved us. This is the LORD for whom we have waited. Let us rejoice and be glad in His salvation.”
Ho tseizeñe amy andro zay, ty hoe: Toe Ie t’i Andrianañaharentika nitamañe handrombake an-tikañey, Ie Iehovà niliñisan-tikañey, antao hifale naho hirebeke amy fandrombaha’ey.
10 For the hand of the LORD will rest on this mountain. But Moab will be trampled in his place as straw is trodden into the dung pile.
Fa ami’ty vohitse toy ty hitofà’ ty fità’ Iehovà, vaho ho lialiàñe an-toe’e eo t’i Moabe, hambañe ami’ty fandialiàñe ty ahetse an-ditsake ao.
11 He will spread out his hands within it, as a swimmer spreads his arms to swim. His pride will be brought low, despite the skill of his hands.
Le ho velare’e añivo’iareo o fità’eo, manahake ty famelara’ ty pilaño hilañoa’e, fe harèke ty firengevoha’e rekets’ o taña-politì’eo
12 The high-walled fortress will be brought down, cast to the ground, into the dust.
naho harotsa’e ambane o kijoli’o fatratse mitiotiotseo, eka, halama’e; hazevo’e an-tane, toe an-deboke ao.
