< Isaiah 25 >
1 O LORD, You are my God! I will exalt You; I will praise Your name. For You have worked wonders— plans formed long ago— in perfect faithfulness.
O! Yehowa, wòe nye nye Mawu. Mado wò ŋkɔ ɖe dzi, eye makafu wò, elabena wò nuteƒewɔwɔ de blibo. Èwɔ nu dzɔtsuwo, nu siwo nèɖo ɖi tso blema ke.
2 Indeed, You have made the city a heap of rubble, the fortified town a ruin. The fortress of strangers is a city no more; it will never be rebuilt.
Èna du gãwo trɔ zu aƒedo, eye mɔ sesẽwo zu glikpo. Amedzrowo ƒe du sesẽwo maganye du anɔ anyi o. Womagbugbɔ wo atu akpɔ o,
3 Therefore, a strong people will honor You. The cities of ruthless nations will revere You.
eya ta dukɔ siwo wɔa kalẽ la ade bubu ŋuwò, eye dukɔ nyanyrawo avɔ̃ wò,
4 For You have been a refuge for the poor, a stronghold for the needy in distress, a refuge from the storm, a shade from the heat. For the breath of the ruthless is like rain against a wall,
5 like heat in a dry land. You subdue the uproar of foreigners. As the shade of a cloud cools the heat, so the song of the ruthless is silenced.
eye abe dzoxɔxɔ sesẽ tso gbegbe ene; èna amedzrowo ƒe hoowɔwɔ nu tso abe ale si ne lilikpo xe ɣe ŋkume la, eƒe dzoxɔxɔ ɖiɖinae ene. Aleae nètsi ame nyanyrawo ƒe hadzidzi nue.
6 On this mountain the LORD of Hosts will prepare a banquet for all the peoples, a feast of aged wine, of choice meat, of finely aged wine.
Le to sia dzi, Yehowa, Dziƒoʋakɔwo ƒe Aƒetɔ la, atsɔ nuɖuɖu damiwo aɖo kplɔ̃e na dukɔwo katã. Wain tsitsitɔ anɔ afi ma. Lã damitɔ akpe ɖe eŋu, eye wain nyuitɔ abɔ ɖe eŋu.
7 On this mountain He will swallow up the shroud that enfolds all peoples, the sheet that covers all nations;
Le to sia dzi, aɖe ameɖivɔ si me wobla amewo katã ɖo kple avɔ si wotsɔ tsyɔ dukɔwo katã dzi la ɖa.
8 He will swallow up death forever. The Lord GOD will wipe away the tears from every face and remove the disgrace of His people from the whole earth.
Ami ku tso mavɔ me yi ɖe mavɔ me. Aƒetɔ Yehowa atutu aɖatsi sia aɖatsi ɖa le amewo ƒe ŋkume. Aɖe eƒe dukɔ la ƒe ŋukpe ɖa le anyigba blibo la dzi. Yehowae gblɔe.
9 And in that day it will be said, “Surely this is our God; we have waited for Him, and He has saved us. This is the LORD for whom we have waited. Let us rejoice and be glad in His salvation.”
10 For the hand of the LORD will rest on this mountain. But Moab will be trampled in his place as straw is trodden into the dung pile.
Yehowa ƒe asi anɔ to sia dzi, ke afanya Moab ɖe eƒe afɔ te abe ale si wofanyaa gbe ƒuƒu ɖe aɖu me ene.
11 He will spread out his hands within it, as a swimmer spreads his arms to swim. His pride will be brought low, despite the skill of his hands.
Akeke eƒe abɔwo ɖe dukɔ la dzi abe ale si tsiƒula kekea eƒe abɔwo ne ele tsi ƒum ene. Mawu aɖiɖi wo ɖe anyi le woƒe dada ta togbɔ be wotsɔ woƒe asiwo wɔ kalẽnu geɖewoe hã.
12 The high-walled fortress will be brought down, cast to the ground, into the dust.
Amu woƒe gli sesẽwo aƒu anyi, eye woakaka ɖe anyigba, agbã gudugudu, eye woazu kewɔ.
