< Isaiah 25 >
1 O LORD, You are my God! I will exalt You; I will praise Your name. For You have worked wonders— plans formed long ago— in perfect faithfulness.
Yaye Jehova Nyasaye, in Nyasacha; abiro miyi duongʼ kendo anapak nyingi, nimar kuom adiera mowinjore isetimo gik makare, mago mane osechan chon.
2 Indeed, You have made the city a heap of rubble, the fortified town a ruin. The fortress of strangers is a city no more; it will never be rebuilt.
Isemiyo dala maduongʼ omukore, modhurore pidhe pidhe, dalano mochiel motegno okethore, dala maduongʼ ma jopinje mamoko noketoe genogi oserumo; bende ok nochak ogere kendo.
3 Therefore, a strong people will honor You. The cities of ruthless nations will revere You.
Kuom mano joma roteke nomiyi duongʼ; mier madongo mag ogendini ma jonjore biro miyi luor.
4 For You have been a refuge for the poor, a stronghold for the needy in distress, a refuge from the storm, a shade from the heat. For the breath of the ruthless is like rain against a wall,
Isebedo kar pondo ne jochan, kar gengʼruok ne jodhier manie lit, kar bwok ka ahiti kudho, kendo kar tipo ka chiengʼ kech. Nimar muya mar janjore chalo mana ka ahiti makudho kochomo ohinga,
5 like heat in a dry land. You subdue the uproar of foreigners. As the shade of a cloud cools the heat, so the song of the ruthless is silenced.
kendo mana ka liet manie piny motimo ongoro. Isetieko koko mar jopinje mamoko mana kaka tipo mar bor polo gengʼo liet, e kaka wend jonjore osechung.
6 On this mountain the LORD of Hosts will prepare a banquet for all the peoples, a feast of aged wine, of choice meat, of finely aged wine.
Ewi godni Jehova Nyasaye Maratego biro loso nyasi mar chiemo mamiyo ne oganda duto, sawo mar divai mosekan, kod chiemo mabeyo gi divai molos maber.
7 On this mountain He will swallow up the shroud that enfolds all peoples, the sheet that covers all nations;
Ewi godni obiro walo law moumo wangʼ ji duto, law mogengʼo ogendini duto;
8 He will swallow up death forever. The Lord GOD will wipe away the tears from every face and remove the disgrace of His people from the whole earth.
kendo enotiek tho chuth. Jehova Nyasaye Manyalo Gik Moko Duto biro yweyo pi wangʼ ji duto; mi nogol ajara kuom joge e piny duto. Jehova Nyasaye ema osewacho.
9 And in that day it will be said, “Surely this is our God; we have waited for Him, and He has saved us. This is the LORD for whom we have waited. Let us rejoice and be glad in His salvation.”
E kindeno giniwach ni, “Adier ma en Nyasachwa; ne wageno kuome, kendo ne oresowa. Ma en Jehova Nyasaye, ne wageno kuome; wabeduru gi mor kendo gi ilo kuom warruokne.”
10 For the hand of the LORD will rest on this mountain. But Moab will be trampled in his place as straw is trodden into the dung pile.
Lwet Jehova Nyasaye biro yweyo ewi godni, to Moab nonyon piny gi tiende, mana kaka inyono lum e dipo.
11 He will spread out his hands within it, as a swimmer spreads his arms to swim. His pride will be brought low, despite the skill of his hands.
Giniyar badgi kuome, mana kaka ngʼama goyo abal yaro bedene ka kwangʼ. Nyasaye biro tieko sungagi kata obedo ni lwetgi riek e yor goyo abal.
12 The high-walled fortress will be brought down, cast to the ground, into the dust.
Obiro muko piny kuondeu mochiel motegno motingʼore gi malo mi oketgi piny, enotergi e lowo ma gilokre buru.
