Isaiah 24
1 Behold, the LORD lays waste the earth and leaves it in ruins. He will twist its surface and scatter its inhabitants—
ಇಗೋ, ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಭೂಮಿಯನ್ನು ಬರಿದುಮಾಡಿ, ನಿರ್ಜನ ಪ್ರದೇಶವನ್ನಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಿ, ತಲೆಕೆಳಗಾಗಿ ತಿರುಗಿಸಿ, ಅದರ ನಿವಾಸಿಗಳನ್ನು ಚದರಿಸಿಬಿಡುವವರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
2 people and priest alike, servant and master, maid and mistress, buyer and seller, lender and borrower, creditor and debtor.
ಜನಗಳಿಗೆ ಹೇಗೋ ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಯಾಜಕರಿಗೆ; ದಾಸನಿಗೆ ಹೇಗೋ ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಯಜಮಾನನಿಗೆ; ದಾಸಿಗೆ ಹೇಗೋ ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಅವಳ ಯಜಮಾನಿಗೆ; ಕೊಳ್ಳುವವನಿಗೆ ಹೇಗೋ ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಮಾರುವವನಿಗೆ; ಸಾಲಕೊಡುವವನಿಗೆ ಹೇಗೋ ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಸಾಲ ಪಡೆಯುವವನಿಗೆ; ಬಡ್ಡಿ ತೆಗೆಯುವವನಿಗೆ ಹೇಗೋ ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಬಡ್ಡಿ ತರುವವನಿಗೆ ಆಗುವುದು.
3 The earth will be utterly laid waste and thoroughly plundered.
ಭೂಮಿಯು ಬಟ್ಟಬರಿದಾಗುವುದು, ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣ ಸುಲಿಗೆಯಾಗುವುದು. ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ತಾವೇ ಈ ಮಾತನ್ನು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
4 The earth mourns and withers; the world languishes and fades; the exalted of the earth waste away.
ಭೂಮಿಯು ಪ್ರಲಾಪಿಸುತ್ತಾ ಬಾಡಿಹೋಗುವುದು. ಲೋಕವು ಸೊರಗಿ ಬಾಡಿಹೋಗುವುದು. ಆಕಾಶವು ಭೂಮಿಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಕುಗ್ಗಿಹೋಗುವುದು.
5 The earth is defiled by its people; they have transgressed the laws; they have overstepped the decrees and broken the everlasting covenant.
ಭೂನಿವಾಸಿಗಳು ದೈವಾಜ್ಞೆಗಳನ್ನು ಮೀರಿ, ದೈವನಿಯಮಗಳನ್ನು ಬದಲಾಯಿಸಿ, ನಿತ್ಯವಾದ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಭಂಗಪಡಿಸಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ಭೂಮಿಯು ಸಹ ಅದರ ನಿವಾಸಿಗಳ ಹೆಜ್ಜೆಯಿಂದ ಅಪವಿತ್ರವಾಗುವುದು.
6 Therefore a curse has consumed the earth, and its inhabitants must bear the guilt; the earth’s dwellers have been burned, and only a few survive.
ಆದಕಾರಣ ಶಾಪವು ಲೋಕವನ್ನು ನುಂಗಿಬಿಟ್ಟಿದೆ. ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸವಾಗಿರುವವರು ದಂಡನೆಗೆ ಒಳಗಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ಭೂನಿವಾಸಿಗಳು ಸುಟ್ಟು ಹೋಗಿ, ಕೆಲವರು ಮಾತ್ರ ಉಳಿದಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
7 The new wine dries up, the vine withers. All the merrymakers now groan.
ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಾರಸವು ಬತ್ತಿಹೋಗುವುದು, ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಿಯು ಬಾಡುವುದು. ಹರ್ಷ ಹೃದಯರೆಲ್ಲಾ ನಿಟ್ಟುಸಿರುಬಿಡುತ್ತಾರೆ.
8 The joyful tambourines have ceased; the noise of revelers has stopped; the joyful harp is silent.
ದಮ್ಮಡಿಗಳ ಉತ್ಸಾಹವು ಮುಗಿದಿದೆ. ಉಲ್ಲಾಸದ ಅವರ ಶಬ್ದವು ಕೊನೆಗೊಂಡಿತು. ಕಿನ್ನರಿಯ ಆನಂದ ಸ್ವರವು ತೀರಿತು.
9 They no longer sing and drink wine; strong drink is bitter to those who consume it.
ಇನ್ನು ಗಾನದೊಡನೆ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಾರಸವನ್ನು ಕುಡಿಯರು, ಕುಡಿಯುವವರಿಗೆ ಮದ್ಯಪಾನವು ಕಹಿಯಾಗುವುದು.
10 The city of chaos is shattered; every house is closed to entry.
ಹಾಳುಪಟ್ಟಣವು ಬಿದ್ದುಹೋಗಿದೆ. ಯಾರು ಒಳಗೆ ಬಾರದಂತೆ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಂದು ಮನೆಯು ಮುಚ್ಚಿದೆ.
11 In the streets they cry out for wine. All joy turns to gloom; rejoicing is exiled from the land.
ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಾರಸದ ಕೊರತೆಯಿಂದ ಬೀದಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಅರಚುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಉಲ್ಲಾಸವೆಲ್ಲ ಅಸ್ತಮಿಸಿದೆ. ಭೂಮಿಯ ಮೇಲಿನ ಸಂತೋಷವು ತೊಲಗಿಹೋಗಿದೆ.
12 The city is left in ruins; its gate is reduced to rubble.
ಪಟ್ಟಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಹಾಳೇ ಉಳಿದಿವೆ. ನಾಶನವು ಹೆಬ್ಬಾಗಿಲಿಗೆ ಬಡಿದಿದೆ.
13 So will it be on the earth and among the nations, like a harvested olive tree, like a gleaning after a grape harvest.
ಓಲಿವ್ ಮರವನ್ನು ಬಡಿದ ಮೇಲೆಯೂ, ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಿ ಸುಗ್ಗಿಯು ತೀರಿದ ನಂತರವು ನಿಲ್ಲುವ ಉಳಿದ ಕಾಯಿಗಳ ಹಾಗೆ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿರುವುದು.
14 They raise their voices, they shout for joy; from the west they proclaim the majesty of the LORD.
ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಸ್ವರವನ್ನೆತ್ತಿ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಮಹಿಮೆಯನ್ನು ಕುರಿತು ಹಾಡುವರು. ಪಶ್ಚಿಮ ದಿಕ್ಕಿನ ಕಡೆಯಿಂದ ಆರ್ಭಟಿಸುವರು.
15 Therefore glorify the LORD in the east. Extol the name of the LORD, the God of Israel in the islands of the sea.
ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ಪೂರ್ವದಿಕ್ಕಿನವರೇ, ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರನ್ನು ಮಹಿಮೆಪಡಿಸಿರಿ; ಸಮುದ್ರದ ದ್ವೀಪಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ದೇವರಾದ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಹೆಸರನ್ನು ನೀವು ಘನಪಡಿಸಿರಿ, ಎಂದು ಕೂಗುವರು.
16 From the ends of the earth we hear singing: “Glory to the Righteous One.” But I said, “I am wasting away! I am wasting away! Woe is me.” The treacherous betray; the treacherous deal in treachery.
ಭೂಮಂಡಲದ ಕಟ್ಟಕಡೆಯಿಂದ “ನೀತಿವಂತರಿಗೆ ಮಹಿಮೆಯಾಗಲಿ” ಎಂಬ ಗೀತೆಗಳು ನಮಗೆ ಕೇಳಿಬರುತ್ತಿವೆ. ಆದರೆ, “ನಾನಾದರೋ ಕ್ಷಯಿಸೇ ಕ್ಷಯಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ. ನನಗೆ ಕಷ್ಟ! ಬಾಧಕರು ಬಾಧಿಸುವುದರಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ನಿರತರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಹೌದು, ಬಾಧಕರು ಬಹಳವಾಗಿ ಬಾಧಿಸುವುದರಲ್ಲಿ ನಿರತರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ.”
17 Terror and pit and snare await you, O dweller of the earth.
ಭೂಮಿಯ ನಿವಾಸಿಗಳೇ, ಭಯವೂ, ಕುಳಿಯೂ, ಬಲೆಯೂ ನಿಮಗೆ ಕಾದಿವೆ.
18 Whoever flees the sound of panic will fall into the pit, and whoever climbs from the pit will be caught in the snare. For the windows of heaven are open, and the foundations of the earth are shaken.
ಆಗ ಭಯದ ಶಬ್ದಕ್ಕೆ ಓಡಿಹೋಗುವವನು ಗುಂಡಿಯೊಳಗೆ ಬೀಳುವನು. ಗುಂಡಿಯೊಳಗಿಂದ ಏರಿಬರುವವನು ಬಲೆಗೆ ಸಿಕ್ಕಿಬೀಳುವನು. ಆಕಾಶದ ದ್ವಾರಗಳು ತೆರೆದಿವೆ. ಭೂಮಿಯ ಅಸ್ತಿವಾರಗಳು ಕಂಪಿಸುತ್ತಿವೆ.
19 The earth is utterly broken apart, the earth is split open, the earth is shaken violently.
ಭೂಮಿಯು ಬಿರುಕುಬಿಟ್ಟಿದೆ, ಬಿರಿದು ಬಿರಿದಿದೆ, ಭೂಮಿಯು ಕದಲಿಹೋಗಿದೆ.
20 The earth staggers like a drunkard and sways like a shack. Earth’s rebellion weighs it down, and it falls, never to rise again.
ಭೂಮಿಯು ಕುಡುಕನ ಹಾಗೆ ಓಲಾಡುತ್ತದೆ, ಗಾಳಿಗೆ ಸಿಕ್ಕಿದ ಗುಡಿಸಲಿನ ಹಾಗೆ ತೂಗಾಡುತ್ತದೆ, ಅದರ ಅಪರಾಧವು ಅದರ ಮೇಲೆ ಭಾರವಾಗಿರುತ್ತದೆ, ಅದು ಬಿದ್ದು ಹೋಗುತ್ತದೆ, ತಿರುಗಿ ಏಳುವುದೇ ಇಲ್ಲ.
21 In that day the LORD will punish the host of heaven above and the kings of the earth below.
ಆ ದಿವಸದಲ್ಲಿ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಆಕಾಶದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಆಕಾಶದವರ ಸೈನ್ಯವನ್ನೂ, ಭೂಮಿಯ ಮೇಲಿರುವ ಭೂರಾಜರನ್ನೂ ದಂಡಿಸುವರು.
22 They will be gathered together like prisoners in a pit. They will be confined to a dungeon and punished after many days.
ನೆಲಮಾಳಿಗೆಯೊಳಗೆ ಒಟ್ಟುಗೂಡಿದ ಸೆರೆಯವರ ಹಾಗೆ ಅವರು ಒಟ್ಟುಗೂಡಿ ಸೆರೆಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬಹಳ ದಿನಗಳಿದ್ದ ತರುವಾಯ ದಂಡನೆಗೆ ಗುರಿಯಾಗುವರು.
23 The moon will be confounded and the sun will be ashamed; for the LORD of Hosts will reign on Mount Zion and in Jerusalem, and before His elders with great glory.
ಆಮೇಲೆ ಸೇನಾಧೀಶ್ವರ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಚೀಯೋನ್ ಪರ್ವತದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ, ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಹಿರಿಯರ ಮುಂದೆ ಮಹಿಮೆಯಿಂದ ಆಳುವಾಗ, ಚಂದ್ರನಿಗೆ ಅವಮಾನವಾಗುವುದು, ಸೂರ್ಯನು ನಾಚಿಕೆ ಪಡುವನು.
