< Hebrews 1 >

1 On many past occasions and in many different ways, God spoke to our fathers through the prophets.
Matukũ-inĩ ma tene Ngai nĩarĩirie maithe maitũ na tũnua twa anabii maita maingĩ, na njĩra mwanya mwanya,
2 But in these last days He has spoken to us by His Son, whom He appointed heir of all things, and through whom He made the universe.
3 The Son is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of His nature, upholding all things by His powerful word. After He had provided purification for sins, He sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high.
4 So He became as far superior to the angels as the name He has inherited is excellent beyond theirs.
Nĩ ũndũ ũcio agĩtuĩka mũnene gũkĩra araika, o ta ũrĩa rĩĩtwa rĩrĩa aagaĩirwo rĩrĩ inene gũkĩra rĩao.
5 For to which of the angels did God ever say: “You are My Son; today I have become Your Father”? Or again: “I will be His Father, and He will be My Son”?
Nĩ ũndũ-rĩ, nĩ mũraika ũrĩkũ Ngai arĩ eera atĩrĩ, “Wee nĩwe Mũrũ wakwa; ũmũthĩ nĩndatuĩka Thoguo”? O na kana akĩmwĩra atĩrĩ, “Nĩ niĩ ngũtuĩka Ithe, nake atuĩke Mũrũ wakwa”?
6 And again, when God brings His firstborn into the world, He says: “Let all God’s angels worship Him.”
Na ningĩ-rĩ, Ngai aarehe irigithathi rĩake gũkũ thĩ, oigire atĩrĩ, “Araika othe a Ngai nĩmamũinamĩrĩre, mamũhooe.”
7 Now about the angels He says: “He makes His angels winds, His servants flames of fire.”
Akĩaria ũhoro wa araika oigire atĩrĩ, “Atũmaga araika ake matuĩke huho, nacio ndungata ciake agacitua nĩnĩmbĩ cia mwaki.”
8 But about the Son He says: “Your throne, O God, endures forever and ever, and justice is the scepter of Your kingdom. (aiōn g165)
No ha ũhoro ũkoniĩ Mũriũ ekuuga atĩrĩ, “Wee Ngai, gĩtĩ gĩaku kĩa ũnene nĩgĩgatũũra tene na tene, nakĩo kĩhooto nĩkĩo gĩgaatuĩka mũthĩgi wa ũthamaki waku. (aiōn g165)
9 You have loved righteousness and hated wickedness; therefore God, Your God, has anointed You above Your companions with the oil of joy.”
Wee wendete ũthingu no ũgathũũra waganu; nĩ ũndũ ũcio, Ngai, o we Ngai waku, nĩakwambararĩtie gũkĩra athiritũ aku othe na ũndũ wa gũgũitĩrĩria maguta ma gĩkeno.”
10 And: “In the beginning, O Lord, You laid the foundations of the earth, and the heavens are the work of Your hands.
Ningĩ akoiga atĩrĩ, “Wee Mwathani, o kĩambĩrĩria-inĩ, nĩwaarire mĩthingi ya thĩ, o narĩo igũrũ nĩ wĩra wa moko maku.
11 They will perish, but You remain; they will all wear out like a garment.
Icio nĩgũthira igaathira, no wee nĩgũtũũra ũgaatũũra; igaathira o ta nguo.
12 You will roll them up like a robe; like a garment they will be changed; but You remain the same, and Your years will never end.”
Ũgaacikũnja o ta ũrĩa nguo ndaaya ikũnjagwo; ikaagarũrũka o ta ũrĩa nguo igarũrũkaga. No wee ndũgarũrũkaga, na mĩaka yaku ndĩrĩ hĩndĩ ĩgaathira.”
13 Yet to which of the angels did God ever say: “Sit at My right hand until I make Your enemies a footstool for Your feet”?
Nĩ ũndũ-rĩ, nĩ mũraika ũrĩkũ Ngai arĩ eera atĩrĩ, “Ikara thĩ guoko-inĩ gwakwa kwa ũrĩo, nginya rĩrĩa ngaatũma thũ ciaku ituĩke gaturwa ka makinya maku”?
14 Are not the angels ministering spirits sent to serve those who will inherit salvation?
Githĩ araika othe ti maroho ma gũtungata, matũmĩtwo matungatagĩre arĩa makaagaya ũhonokio?
